PENINGKATAN KEMAMPUAN MENENTUKAN ALUR, PENOKOHAN DAN LATAR DALAM CERPEN “ROBOHNYA SURAU KAMI” KARYA ALI AKBAR NAVIS MELALUI PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF TIPE STAD SISWA KELAS XI 1 SMKN AMPIBABO
The problem in this research is "how is the implementation of STAD cooperative learning to improve the ability of class XI student of SMK 1 Ampibabo Define plot, characterization and background in the short story "Robohnya Surau Kami" by Ali Akbar Navis? How peningtkatan ability of class XI student of SMK 1 Ampibabo in Define groove, characterization and background in the short story "Robohnya Surau Kami" by Ali Akbar Navis with the implementation of cooperative learning STAD ?. This research is a classroom action research subject class XI student of SMKN 1 Ampibabo. This research was conducted in two cycles, with the results of research on teacher observation results of the first cycle 68%, while 16.6% student activity observation with the results of the evaluation of learning outcomes students' average score of 6.6, with a 38% percentage of completeness. Referring to KKM applicable in SMK 1 Ampibabo average value of 70 with classical completeness 80%, the result of cycle I have not reached the standard of completeness. Implementation of the second cycle showed significant improvements. The results of observations of teachers increased to 100%, observation of student activity 66.7% 33.3% good and excellent categorized with the evaluation results determine the student's ability plot, characterization and background stories that the average value obtained by the students of 7.9. Results of research conducted in the second cycle, it can be concluded that with peneran learning model Cooperative Tepe STAD, the ability of class XI student of SMK 1 Ampibabo determine the plot, characterization and background in the short story "Robohnya Surau Kami" by Ali Akbar Navis can be enhanced through Cooperative Learning Stad
USING COMICS IN IMPROVING THE ABILITY OF GRADE X STUDENTS OF SMA NEGERI 4 PALU IN WRITING NARRATIVE TEXT
Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui apakah penggunaan komik dapat meningkatkan kemampuan siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 4 Palu dalam menulis teks naratif. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah quasi-eksperimental. Sehingga, terdapat dua kelas yang diberikan tes awal dan tes akhir. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X Ilmu Ilmu Sosial (IIS) SMA Negeri 4 Palu yang berjumlah 170 siswa dan sampelnya adalah kelas X IIS 1 yang berjumlah 31 siswa sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas X IIS 2 yang berjumlah 33 sebagai kelas kontrol. Sampel diambil dengan menggunakan tehnik purposive sampling. Instrumen pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah test. Data dianalisa menggunakan metode statistik uji-t untuk mengetahuin perbedaan signifikan dari pencapaian siswa di kelas eksperimen dan kontrol. Berdasarkan hasil test, nilai rata-rata siswa pada kelas eksperimen adalah 73.11, sedangkan nilai rata-rata siswa pada kelas kontrol adalah 63.22. Hasil perbandingan nilai rata-rata melalui uji-t dengan mengaplikasikan perbandingan level 0.05 dan derajat kebebasan 62 (64-2) ditemukan bahwa nilai t-hitung (3.48) lebih tinggi dibandingkan nilai t-tabel (1.999). Hasil dari uji-t menunjukkan bahwa hipotesa alternatif (Ha) diterima dan hipotesa nol (Ho) ditolak. Dengan kata lain, penggunaan komik dapat meningkatkan kemampuan siswa kelas X di SMA Negeri 4 Palu dalam menulis teks naratif
UPAYA PENINGKATAN KETERAMPILAN MEMBACA PUISI PADA SISWA KELAS X SMA NEGERI 7 SIGI MELALUI METODE COOPERATIVE SCRIPT
Penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas penggunaan metode cooperative script dalam upaya meningkatkan keterampilan membaca puisi siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 7 Sigi. Penelitian Tindakan Kelas yang dilakukan mengacu pada siklus pembelajaran yang dikemukakan oleh Kemmis dan Taggart. Siklus tersebut terdiri atas perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, pengamatan, dan refleksi. Penelitian dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus dengan subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 7 Sigi. Data diperoleh peneliti melalui kuesioner dan hasil observasi keterampilan membaca puisi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa melalui metode cooperative script dapat meningkatkan aktivitas siswa dalam kegiatan pembelajaran membaca puisi, hal ini dapat dilihat pada hasil siklus I, diperoleh rata-rata 2,80 dengan persentase 70% dan siklus II diperoleh rata-rata3,14 dengan persentase 79%. Selanjutnya peningkatan hasil pembelajaran membaca puisi dilihat dari nilai rata-rata siswa yakni 72 pada siklus I yang meningkat dari kondisi awal dengan rata-rata 61,67 dan pada siklus II rata-rata meningkat menjadi 77,55 dengan KKM 75. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa pembelajaran membaca puisi dengan menggunakan metode cooperative script dapat meningkatkan keterampilan siswa pada pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia dengan materi membaca puisi
TINDAK TUTUR EKSPRESIF DALAM PEMBELAJARAN KELAS VIII SMP NEGERI 19 PALU
This research aims to describe the use of expressive speech act covering (1) form, (2) function, and (3) strategy in instructional in grade VIII of SMP Negeri 19 Palu. Data source were obtained from teacher and students utterances during the learning process. The approach used the research was pragmatic approach. Method used was descriptive qualitative. Data collections were done in three techniques, namely: (1) recording, (2) observation, and (3) noting. The subjects of the research were teachers and students at SMP Negeri 19 Palu. Technique of analysis was interactive model. The analysis covered four stages, they were: (1) data collection, (2) data reduction, (3) data display, (4) verification/conclusion. The research findings reveal that instructional conducted in SMP Negeri 19 Palu consist of (1) gratitude form, (2) apologize form, (3) thanking form, (4) compliment form, (5) mocking form, (6) blame form, (7) complain form, (8) refuse form, (9) enjoyment form. The function of expressive speech act found in the findings comprised (1) gratitude function, (2) apologize function, (3) thanking function, (4) greeting function. Strategy used in the expressive speech act consists of (1) direct strategy of gratitude, (2) direct strategy of apologize, (3) direct strategy of thanking, (4) direct strategy of compliment, (5) direct strategy of mocking, (6) direct strategy of blame, (7) direct strategy of complain, (8) direct strategy of refuse, (9) direct strategy of enjoyment. Meanwhile the indirect strategy consists of (1) indirect strategy of apologize, (2) indirect strategy of mocking, (3) indirect strategy of complain with variation functions referred to behind the speech act depend on its context
PENERAPAN METODE AUDIO – LINGUAL DALAM MENINGKATKAN KEMAMPUAN BERBICARA SISWA KELAS V SDN 7 SINDUE TOBATA
The main problem of this research is 1) whether speaking skill of the Fifth – Graders SDN 7 Sindue Tobata Improved after the aplication of audio – lingual method ? how is the step of the aplication of audio-lingual method in improving speaking skill of the Fifth- Graders SDN 7 Sindue Tobata ? This research intends to 1) improve speaking skill the Fifth- Graders SDN 7 Sindue Tobata, and 2) describe steps in the aplication of audio- lingual method in improving speaking skill of the Fifth-Graders SDN 7 Sindue Tobata. Subject of this clasroom action research was 16 students the Fifth-Graders SDN 7 Sindue Tobata. Data source was teachers and students Research design was conducted in four stages such as: pretreatment, treatment, observation, and reflection. Data were collected trough observation and test and were analyzed trough determining individual achievement criteria and classical also determining the average score of students. The result of this reserch reveals that Cycle I has not achieve KKM Of 75 with score total of 1090 and average 68.2, meanwhile Cycle II shows improvement in achieving KKM 75 with average score of 1430 and average 89.4. The achivement of KKM is 75, then the hypothesis of this research is accepted trough the application of audio-lingual method to improve speaking skill of the Fifth-Graders SDN 7 Sindue Tobata

This research intends to 1) describe representation form of power in directive speaking action on Indonesia Lawyer Club Talk Show TV One, 2) describe representation function of power in directive speaking action on Indonesia Lawyer Club Talk Show TV One. Method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. Data of this research was directive speaking action of moderator and interviewees on Indonesia Lawyer Club which include representation of power. Data were collected through open securitize speaking involvement with basic technique of take a note. Data were analyzed through several stages such as: data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. The result of this research reveals 1) speech of moderator and on Indonesia Lawyer Club Talk Show TV One shows the existence of representation of power in directive speaking action in form of giving order, forbidding, giving advice, questions, inviting, requesting, and stating, 2) speech of moderator and on Indonesia Lawyer Club Talk Show TV One shows the existence of representation of function power in directive speaking action in form of giving order, forbidding, giving advice, questions, inviting, requesting, and stating. IMPROVING READING COMPREHENSION OF GRADE XI STUDENTS OF POST HARVEST DEPARTMENT AT SMK NEGERI 1 KAROSSATHROUGH PQRST METHOD
Tujuan penelitian ini ialah membuktikan bahwa penggunaan metode PQRST dapat meningkatkan pemahaman membaca siswa kelas XIJurusan TPHP SMK Negeri 1 Karossa. Peneliti menggunakan penelitian tindakan kelas dengan dua siklus. Alat yang digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data adalah lembar pengamatan dan tes. Dalam melaksanakan penelitian, peneliti menggunakan metode PQRST untuk meningkatkan pemahaman membaca pada teks prosedur. Peneliti menggunakan metode PQRST dengan melakukan beberapa langkah yaitu siswa melakukan pra-membaca, membuat beberapa pertanyaan, membaca teks bacaan secara keseluruhan, meringkas teks, dan melakukan tes. Peneliti juga membagi mereka dalam beberapa pasangan agar mereka bisa berbagi dan saling menolong satu sama lain. Ini sangat berguna untuk meningkatkan pemahaman membaca siswa. Pada siklus pertama siswa yang mendapatkan nilai sesuai standar ketuntasan minimal adalah sejumlah 10 siswa atau 62.5% dari total siswa yang diteliti. Jumlah ini belum mencapai kriteria sukses penelitian, dimana nilai yang ditetapkan adalah 70%. Penelitian dilanjutkan ketahapan selanjutnya dan pada siklus kedua. Jumlah siswa yang memperolehnilai kriteria sukses adalah sebesar 81.25%. Pada siklus dua, kriteria sukses penelitian telah didapatkan dan penelitian dihentikan setelah siklus dua

The research problems are: (1) how is the form of noun of Kaili language in Rai dialect?, (2) how is the function of noun of Kaili language in Rai dialect?, and (3) what is the meaning of noun of Kaili language in Rai dialect?. The research aims to: (1) describe the noun form of Kaili language in Rai dialect, (2) describe the noun function of Kaili language in Rai dialect, and (3) describe the meaning of noun of Kaili language in Rai dialect. This was a descriptive qualitative research. Data collection was listening and speaking with listening involving speaking, recording technique, and noting technique. Data analysis used match and distributional with subtitution technique. The research result reveals that (1) the form of the noun of Kaili language in Rai dialect includes the basic noun that is a noun consisting of a morpheme and a derived noun that is a derived noun with the form of the affix, reduplication, compounding, and clitization on the morphological study and noun of Kaili language in Rai dialect on the study of syntax can be known its position in construction of phrases, clauses, and sentences. (2) the Kaili language noun function in the Rai dialect includes the morphological noun function ie as a tool marker, locative adverb marker, and numerical marker. (3) the meaning of Kaili’s noun in Rai dialect in morphology and syntax is to have meaning as component of the meaning of people, animals, fruits, food, tools, place of people perfoming an activity or work, many or more than one, and meaningful to one.
IMPROVING READING COMPREHENSION OF THE GRADE X STUDENTS OF SMK NEGERI 1 RANTEPAO BY USING READING NEWSPAPER
Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk membuktikan apakah penggunaan koran dapat meningkatkan pemahaman membaca dalam bahasa Inggris pada siswa siswi kelas X SMK Negeri 1 Rantepao. Di dalam penelitian ini, peneliti menggunakan quasi experimental design non-equivalenth group yang terdiri dari kelas eksperimental dan kelas kontrol.Peneliti menggunakan purposive sampling dalam pengambilan sampel yang diambil dari populasi kelas X SMK Negeri 1 Rantepao. Instrumen yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah angket dan test. Data analisa dilakukan secara statistik dan deskriptif. Berdasarkan hasil data yang telah dianalisis, ditemukan bahwa 3.52 untuk nilai t-hitungdengan menggunakan dk 37+37-2 = 72 pada taraf signifikansi 0.05. Sedangkan nilai t-table adalah 1.995 Berdasarkan hasil dari data yang telah di analisis tersebut, hal ini menunjukkan bahwa t-hitung lebih besar dari pada t-table. Sehingga, hipotesis dalam penitian ini diterima atau dengan kata lain penggunakan koran memberikan pengaruh penting dalam kemampuan siswa-siswi dalam membaca bahasa Inggris
PENINGKATAN KEMAMPUAN MENULIS PARAGRAF DEDUKTIF DAN INDUKTIF SISWA KELAS VIII SMP NEGERI 1 AMPIBABO MELALUI METODE LATIHAN TERBIMBING
This type of research is a class act who performed cyclical as much as two cycles. The results of the study in the first cycle of observation of teachers 78.8%, 16.6% of students observations with the results of the evaluation of learning value obtained by the students write paragraphs deductive value students' average of 6.9 percentage completeness number of 55.5%. In the evaluation of the ability to write a paragraph inductive students' average score of 6.6 with a percentage of 39.5% classical completeness. Referring to KKM prevailing in Indonesian language learning in SMP Negeri 1 Ampibabo the average value of 70 percentage completeness 85%, the results have not yet reached the applicable standard of completeness. There is also research showing an increase in the second cycle, the observation of the teacher 100% categorized as good, observation 83.4% of students considered good, while 16.6% is very good overall category of student activity can already be expressed either. The results of evaluation of learning to write paragraphs deductive average grade 8 students. The results of evaluation of learning to write paragraphs inductive average value obtained by the students is 7.7 with the percentage of classical completeness 85% then, hasil tindakan siklus II sudah mencapai standar ketuntasan yang berlaku sehingga tidak dilanjutkan lagi ke siklus berikutnya
