    State asset utilization strategy through strategic asset leasing services: a case study of the Makassar office of information and communication technology management and state property

    Optimizing the utilization of state assets through strategic asset leasing services is important in the context of effective public resource management. However, to achieve this goal, a systematic and integrated approach is required. Therefore, this study aims to combine the TOWS (threats, opportunities, weaknesses, strengths) method with SWOT (strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, threats) analysis to develop an optimal strategy for state asset utilization. This study aims to analyze internal and external factors affecting the utilization of state assets and identify suitable strategies using the TOWS approach. This study used a qualitative approach with SWOT analysis and TOWS matrix. Data were collected through a literature review and interviews with experts in the field of state asset management. Internal and external factors were analyzed to identify relevant strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats in the context of state asset utilization. Based on SWOT analysis, several internal strengths and weaknesses of solar power development companies in South Sulawesi were identified. In addition, external opportunities and threats affecting the company were also identified. Then, using the TOWS matrix, suitable strategies were developed to optimize the utilization of state assets through strategic asset leasing services in the region. Combining the TOWS method with SWOT analysis provides a comprehensive approach in the development of state asset utilization strategies. This research produced a strategy that can be used as a guide in optimizing the utilization of state assets through strategic asset leasing services in South Sulawesi. This strategy considers internal strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and external threats, so as to increase effectiveness and efficiency in the management of state assets

    Strategic Group of Indonesia Retail Industry

    This research aims to produce a strategic group map of the retail industry in Indonesia at PT Sumber Alfaria Trijaya Tbk. A strategic group is a collection of companies in an industry with similarities in strategy implementation, the scope of operations, and the resources they use to win the competition. The research method used is the case study method, namely a series of scientific activities carried out in detail and depth to reveal an event and activity of an entity in order to gain in-depth knowledge about the event. This study explores strategic groups in the retail industry concerning the position of PT Sumber Alfaria Trijaya Tbk as one of the retail business players, including the supermarket and minimarket sub-sectors. The results of the study show a mapping of strategic groups in the retail industry in Indonesia using indicators of wide geographical coverage and the number of outlets owned by companies in the industry. The strategic group mapping of the Indonesian retail industry consists of sub-sectors: supermarkets and minimarkets (such as PT. Sumber Alfaria Trijaya Tbk), retail electronics (such as PT. Erajaya Swasembada Tbk); retail automotive (e.g., PT. Mitra Pinasthika Mustika Tbk); retail clothing and textiles (e.g., PT MapActivs Adiperkasa Tbk; and PT Mitra Adiperkasa Tbk)

    Implementation of Dry Port: Feasibility Study in Jeneponto Regency

    This research was conducted to analyze the feasibility of Jeneponto Regency as a location for a Dry Port in South Sulawesi and the impact it has on the selection of the Dry Port location. This research used a qualitative descriptive method and SWOT analysis aimed at analyzing data such as geographic data, supporting infrastructure, economic and social aspects, regional characteristics, and local government policies regarding regional development. In addition, field surveys and interviews were conducted with relevant parties, including government agencies, private institutions, academics or practitioners, and other stakeholders. The results of this research indicate that Jeneponto Regency has the potential to be a strategic location for a Dry Port, with a recorded area of 749.79 km2. The planning for the development of the Jeneponto Regency Dry Port is located in the Bontorappo Village area, Tarowang District, with an available land area of 1.85 hectares. This region has good accessibility through the main road network and is close to the Port of Makassar, one of the busiest ports in South Sulawesi. Furthermore, the potential for economic and industrial growth in this regency also provides promising opportunities for Dry Port development. The related impacts on the selection of the Dry Port location are assessed in terms of economic impact, impact on the smooth flow of cargo handling, and impact on regional development. The SWOT analysis results indicate that the positioning falls within quadrant I, which means that the development strategy of the Dry Port in Jeneponto Regency, South Sulawesi Province, supports an aggressive growth-oriented strategy. This situation is highly advantageous for the policies to be implemented, where the strength of the strategic location for Dry Port development positively impacts the efficiency and speed of goods delivery, and the opportunities for Dry Port development will create new job opportunities and have significant economic benefits for the local area. Therefore, based on the positioning in quadrant I, the Dry Port project in Jeneponto Regency has a high potential for rapid growth

    The Influence of Remuneration, Work Ethic and Organizational Culture on Improving Human Resource Culture

    This study aims to determine the effect of remuneration, work ethic, organizational culture and corporate image on improving the quality of Human Resources at the Office of the Ministry of Religion, South Tangerang. The method used is quantitative and the sampling method uses saturated samples from a total of 140 respondents. Data analysis used validity, reliability, classical hypothesis, regression, correlation coefficient analysis, certainty analysis, and hypothesis testing. Remuneration research results have a positive and significant effect on improving the quality of human resources, this is indicated by the value of t count > t table or (7.254 > 1.977) this is strengthened by a significance of 0.000 t table or (8.857 > 1.977) this is strengthened by a significance of 0.000 t table or (8,155 > 1.977) this is reinforced by a significance of 0.000 F table (47.619 > 2.670) and sig. < 0.05 (0.000 < 0.05) with an influence contribution of 51.2%

    Analysis of E-Democracy in the Simultaneous General Election

    This study aims to determine the development of e-democracy in the 2019 simultaneous general elections in Sukabumi City, which is supported by the high number of internet users in Sukabumi City. To measure e-democracy, researchers adopted the e-democracy model developed by Caldow (2004), which consists of 4 quadrants. The method used in this research is a quantitative method with a descriptive approach. Data collection techniques in this study were by distributing questionnaires, observations, interviews and literature studies. The population in this study were all people of Sukabumi City who were registered as the Permanent Voters List (DPT) in the Sukabumi City area, with a total of 100 respondents from 7 sub-districts in Sukabumi City. The sampling technique used by researchers was probability sampling with cluster sampling technique. Data processing in this study used Statistical Product and Service Solutions (SPSS) 26. The result of this study is that e-democracy activities in Sukabumi City are in the high category, where based on the hypothesis test, obtained ttabel 1.660 < tcount 10.127, then H0 is rejected, and Ha is accepted. The accepted hypothesis reads that the level of e-democracy in the 2019 simultaneous general elections in Sukabumi City is above 50%

    Financial Management of Educational Operational Assistance in Improving the Quality of Education in Sesayap District, Tana Tidung Regency

    Financial management of educational operational assistance (BOP) is school operational assistance originating from the Regional Government of Tana Tidung Regency which is used for school operational activities. The aims of this study are 1) to find out the financial management of educational operational assistance (BOP) to improve the quality of education in Sesayap District, Tana Tidung Regency; 2) to find out the inhibiting factors for operational assistance financial management (BOP) in Sesayap District, Tana Tidung Regency. The informants in this study were the Head of the Education Office, the Head of the Finance Subdivision of the Education Office, and the Principal of a school in Sesayap District, as well as one of the treasurers of the BOP. The research design used is qualitative with a case study approach. Data collection techniques used are interviews, observation, and documentation. The data analysis techniques are data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study show that 1) financial management of operational assistance (BOP) in improving the quality of education in Sesayap District, Tana Tidung Regency has been carried out in accordance with the provisions of 8 educational standards, namely graduate competency standards, content standards, process standards, assessment standards, educator and staff standards education, infrastructure standards, management standards, and financing standards analyzed from research indicators, namely fulfillment of financial obligations, honesty, control, responsibility, efficiency, and effectiveness; 2) the inhibiting factors in BOP financial management are delays in the disbursement of BOP from the district and the lack of awareness of financial responsibility from the organizers of activities or programs to the BOP treasurer of educational units

    Impact of Prabowo Subianto Figure on the Political Attitudes of First-Time Voters in the Re-nomination of the Indonesian Presidential Candidate 2019-2024

    The possibility of Prabowo Subianto's re-nomination as a presidential candidate in Indonesia for 2019-2024 raises questions about whether his figure, having previously lost in the 2014 presidential election, can create a positive attitude among the Indonesian public, especially first-time voters. In addition to perceptions of the figure which is the focus of this research, the media's significant role in shaping the attitudes of first-time voters is also discussed. This study is a quantitative research with primary data obtained from questionnaires of 250 respondents from five universities in Jakarta and Bandung. The research also uses supplementary data through interviews and literature studies. The analysis technique utilizes multiple regression analysis.The results show a significant and positive influence between the figure and media on the attitudes of first-time voters in viewing Prabowo Subianto. The findings reinforce theories of political communication and political culture regarding the role of figures / political actors in shaping public attitudes or opinions with the aid of media reporting

    Alternative Tourism Attraction Policy of Makassar City

    This study aims to examine the creation of alternative tourism attractions in Makassar City. It is qualitative research, and the informants include the Mayor of Makassar, the Head of the Department of Tourism and Creative Economy, the Head of the Makassar District, the Chairman of the Regional Board of the Indonesian Hotel and Restaurant Association (PHRI) in South Sulawesi, the Chairman of the Regional Board of the Association of Indonesian Tours and Travel Agencies (ASITA) in South Sulawesi, and the local community. Data was collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis technique employed was qualitative descriptive analysis, involving data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing or verification. The research findings indicate that the implementation of the Makassar Tidak Rantasa (MTR) Policy, which includes the Lorong Garden program, has successfully transformed several alleys or lanes into cleaner, healthier, and more attractive places to visit, particularly in the Makassar District. However, these changes have not yet created alternative tourism attractions. The recommendation from this study emphasizes the need to consider the principles of tourism attraction management to follow up on the Lorong Garden program and ultimately create alternative tourism attractions in Makassar City

    Implementing Agricultural Policies: Driving Sustainable Growth in the Farming Sector in Indonesia

    The agricultural sector plays a crucial role in the economic development of Indonesia, providing employment opportunities and contributing to the country's food security. However, the sector faces numerous challenges that hinder its growth and sustainability. This research aims to explore the implementation of agricultural policies as a means to drive sustainable growth in the farming sector in Indonesia. The study's objective is to assess the effectiveness of agricultural policies in promoting sustainable practices, improving productivity, and enhancing the overall performance of the farming sector. The research employs a mixed-methods approach, combining qualitative and quantitative analysis. A comprehensive literature review is conducted to understand the existing agricultural policies and their impact on the sector. Primary data is collected through surveys and interviews with farmers, policymakers, and agricultural experts. The survey responses are analyzed using statistical techniques to identify trends, patterns, and correlations. The interviews provide insights into the perceptions and experiences of various stakeholders involved in the agricultural sector. The findings of this research shed light on the current state of agricultural policies in Indonesia and their impact on the farming sector. The analysis reveals the strengths and weaknesses of existing policies, highlighting areas that require improvement. Furthermore, the study identifies successful policy interventions and best practices that have contributed to sustainable growth in the farming sector. The study recommends policy measures to address the identified weaknesses and leverage successful interventions. By implementing effective agricultural policies, Indonesia can achieve sustainable growth in the farming sector, ensuring long-term economic prosperity and food security for its population

    Talent Management-Based Training Planning to Produce High-Performing Human Resources

    This study focuses on the process of talent management-based training planning, which is expected to generate high-performing human resources. The research method used is qualitative with a descriptive exploratory approach, with the research output being the stages of talent management-based training planning. The objective of this research is to design the stages of talent management-based training planning along with its supporting instruments, in order to produce high-performing human resources. The implementation of talent management in human resources training is one of the strategies that companies can use to obtain human resources with excellent performance quality, as well as to assess, train, and optimize the human resources owned by the company, where talent management can address retention or employees' desire to leave the organization. The impact of talent management implementation in the implementation of human resources training that adopts the DISC personality concept (Dominance, Influence, Steadiness, and Compliance) is expected to benefit both the company and the relevant employees, as follows: (1) Improving the business value of the company to shareholders; (2) Increasing customer satisfaction; (3) Enhancing the quality, productivity, and capabilities of human resources; (4) Boosting employee motivation and commitment to high performance; (5) Facilitating career development and mapping for employees; (7) Enhancing employees' contribution of knowledge to company objectives
