Da’i Technology Literacy in Perspective of the Qur\u27an
The dai\u27s technological literacy is the ability to use, understand, manage and assess an innovation that involves a scientific process to solve problems and know the dai\u27s abilities related to literacy problems. This research aims to reveal the concept of dai\u27s technological literacy in the view of the Koran and to find out the dai\u27s technological literacy competence. The method used in this research is the descriptive analysis method, while the approach method used in this research is a qualitative approach through literature study. The results of this study indicate that the concept of information literacy in the Koran leads to the implementation of information retrieval. In contrast, the concept of communication literacy in the view of the Koran refers to morals and ethics in communication. In addition, technological literacy competencies include basic, primary, intermediate, advanced, technical, and literacy skills. This research implies that the preachers are expected to be able to upgrade themselves and have established literacy in the field of technology so that they can maintain their da\u27wah activities according to the times
Interpersonal Communication of Da’i in Raising the Religious Awareness of Children in Conflict with the Law (ABH)
Currently there are many children who have to deal with the law, caused by cases of fights, robberies, murders. To deal with children who are affected by this case, a rehabilitation center is needed as a place for protection and education for children. Center for Social Rehabilitation of Children Requiring Special Protection “Handayani Jakarta†is a rehabilitation center that provides religious guidance as a method of rehabilitation for children involved in criminal cases. Religious Supervisors, in this case called da\u27i have an important role to choose the right communication in increasing children\u27s religious awareness so they don\u27t repeat their actions. This study aims to determine the interpersonal communication of preachers at BRSAMPK Handayani Jakarta and the interpersonal communication of preachers in increasing the religious awareness of children in conflict with the law. The theory used in this study is the theory of competence communication, while the method used is a qualitative method with a constructivist paradigm. Data collection techniques through direct observations, interviews, and document studies. The results of the study show that preachers in building interpersonal communication are by understanding children\u27s character, fostering children\u27s trust, providing guidance with a sense of humor, using language that is easy to understand and applying a firm attitude in guidance. In increasing ABH\u27s religious awareness, the way of interpersonal communication used by da\u27i is to provide motivation, communicate persuasively, and conduct question and answer dialogue

Jabatan Hal Ehwal Islam Negri Sabah (JHEAINS) is a da\u27wah organization that operates in society. This research aims to discover the da\u27wah strategy used by the Tuaran section of JHEAINS in its da\u27wah efforts against Muslim converts. This research analyses the methods, approaches and obstacles to JHEAINS\u27 da\u27wah towards Muslim converts. The technique used in this research is descriptive; this method aims to systematically describe specific facts factually and carefully using observation, interviews and documentation techniques. The research results show that JHEAINS uses several da\u27wah methods with Fardhiyyah, tarbiyyah, al-Ardiyyah, al-Bi\u27thiyyah, al-Mujadalah and counselling approaches. Even so, the JHEAINS organization faces several obstacles in preaching to Muslim converts. This research has significant implications, especially for converts and preachers in the JHEAINS organization spreading da\u27wah in Tuaran
Post-Prohibition Da\u27wah of Hizb ut-Tahrir Indonesia and Islamic Defenders Front
In 2017 the Indonesian government has officially banned two Islamic da\u27wah movements, HTI (Hizbut Tahrir Indonesia) and FPI (Islamic Defenders Front). These two da\u27wah movements are considered to be contrary to Pancasila ideology because they want to establish an Islamic state (Khilafah) in Indonesia. The focus of this research was carried out in the branch areas of HTI and FPI, namely in West Java and Banten. The data in this paper come from direct observation, in-depth interviews and documentation review. This paper finds differences in the pattern of the dakwah movements of HTI and FPI after they were disbanded, both in the dissemination of ideas and in the pattern of recruitment. HTI implemented a massive migration in preaching the idea of a khilafah from direct (offline) efforts to indirect (online) efforts. In its recruitment, HTI continues to maintain its conventional efforts through face-to-face preaching (Daurah), with the addition of using wing organizations as its spearhead. Meanwhile, the decline in the da\u27wah movement occurred in FPI, mainly due to the absence of the Grand Imam Rizieq Shihab and the loss of elite support for them. Even so, FPI continues to maintain its da\u27wah activities by disseminating its ideas through recitations at its activist headquarters, mosques and Islamic boarding schools. This research can contribute to the enrichment of the analysis of the hidden da\u27wah movement that occurs in the field, especially with the front stage and back stage approaches of Erving Goffman
Moral and Religious Mental Development of TNI Soldiers Based on Spiritual Approach from the Perspective of Hizbiyyah Da\u27wah
This research aims to identify mental development programs at the TNI Pusbintal with a spiritual approach. The research approach used in this research is a qualitative approach with data collection techniques in the form of interviews and literature studies. The research results show that the moral and mental development of TNI soldiers carried out by the TNI Pusbintal on a spiritual basis plays a vital role in shaping the moral and mental characteristics of TNI soldiers. The spiritual-based coaching techniques used are prayer, dhikr and meditation. These three techniques are not only explained in material form but are also applied in the daily lives of TNI soldiers when they carry out their duties. The above shows the role of mental development for the TNI based on al-Islamiyah da\u27wah. Mental training within the TNI has apparent legal force and carries sanctions for violators. So, mental development in religious practice further shows the role of the TNI Pusbintal as one of the constructs of al-Islamiyah da\u27wah. From a da\u27wah perspective, the TNI Pusbintal can be categorized as a da\u27wah institution that carries out institutional da\u27wah or hizbiyyah da\u27wah. This institution is vital to strengthening the mentality and morale of TNI soldiers based on Islamic spiritual values. Thus, it will strengthen the TNI, which is not only an educational institution that produces strong soldiers but also has a depth of spirituality in carrying out its duties to maintain national security and defence

This research finds different points of view in the political communication process carried out by the Bandung City KPU during the selection process for Bandung mayoral candidates. This research was conducted to analyze the good values within the KPU institution from an institutional da\u27wah perspective. By using a subjective interpretive approach, qualitative methods, and descriptive case study research, this research describes the problems that occurred at the 2018 Bandung Mayor candidate stage as material for improvement for the 2024 Bandung Mayor election as well as mapping political communication da\u27wah that can be developed by the City General Election Commission Bandung in the framework of finding solutions to problems at the nomination stage. The results of the research concluded that the nomination stage in the 2018 Bandung Mayor election had five issues, so genuine efforts and policies were needed from the Bandung City General Election Commission to improve the nomination stage for the 2024 Bandung Mayor election. One of the efforts that can be made to deal with problems at the nomination stage is developing two political communication da\u27wah activities, namely the application of the shura method exemplified by Rasulullah SAW in internal political communication, both horizontally and vertically organizational and external political communication between the Bandung City General Election Commission and the citizens of Bandung, especially the prospective candidates for Mayor of Bandung in various forms of da\u27wah political communication, both face to face and media political communication to realize honest and fair elections
Da\u27wah Strategy of West Java Nahdlatul Ulama (NU) with Health Message Content in Facing the Covid-19 Pandemic
This research aims to discuss the da\u27wah strategy of the Islamic organization Nahdlatul Ulama (NU) of West Java in dealing with the COVID-19 pandemic. A lot of information about health is received by the congregation; some are true and some are not. Unfortunately, many residents and congregations are influenced by things that are not true, making them reluctant to be vaccinated. This research method is qualitative with in-depth interview techniques. This study concludes that the PWNU (Nahdlatul Ulama Regional Boards) da\u27wah strategy begins with the organization\u27s view of COVID-19 which gave birth to NU\u27s da\u27wah policy and its da\u27wah strategy. COVID-19 is a test that needs to be addressed and overcome properly. NU policy leads to actions to overcome the pandemic, which are synergized with the government and society by utilizing organizational resources to foster jam\u27iyyah and congregational health. Da\u27wah is carried out by conveying religious messages combined with spiritual and mental health information to achieve physical health, accompanied by worship and good endeavor. In addition, reading the Qur\u27an can also bring happiness that affects physical endurance and health. Communication media are used to deliver da’wah messages from West Java NU, namely through mass media and social media, in which social media is more intensely used for da\u27wah than mass media. The implication of this research is that da\u27wah by Islamic organizations can still be carried out during a pandemic by using communication media, both social and mass media. Â
Da’wah Values in Intercultural Communication and Local Wisdom within the Baduy Tribe Community
This research aims to explore da\u27wah values in the interactions of the Baduy community with others who possess different cultural values and their local wisdom in facing the challenges of modernity. The method used in this research was qualitative. The research subjects were the outer and inner Baduy communities. Data was collected through direct observation, interviews, and documentation. Data validity was ensured through triangulation. The results of the research indicate that da\u27wah values in the Baduy community are manifested in their inclusive attitude and hospitality when communicating with people outside of Baduy. The Outer Baduy community acts as a filter for external values, carefully selecting to preserve positive local cultural values. Meanwhile, the people of Inner Baduy represent the original Baduy (Tangtu) and demonstrate the values of da\u27wah through their responsibility in preserving traditions, culture, and local values. Their obedience to ancestral laws, tribal leaders, and local wisdom functions as tools in dealing with the challenges of modernity
Ideological Construction of the Mass Media: Study of Religious Moderation News in the National Online News Media and its Relation to Moderate Da’wah
This study analyzes the ideological construction of the mass media in reporting on religious moderation and its relation to moderate da’wah on Kompas.com and Mediaindonesia.com. This research is a type of qualitative research. News as a unit of analysis was selected by purposive sampling each of 3 (news) for each media. Problems are analyzed with Robert M. Entman\u27s framing analysis which is part of the analysis of mass media texts. This research concludes that Kompas and Media Indonesia construct ideology in religious moderation news which is associated with issues of intolerance and radicalism. These two national media construct news on religious moderation using a moderate national ideology. Concerning moderate da’wah, these two national media do not directly write news with moderate da’wah messages. These two national media construct support for moderate da’wah narratives by constructing religious moderation news. Ideologically, these two national online news media construct news by supporting the practice of religious moderation and the practice of moderate da’wah. The implication is that these two national online mass media need to continue to produce news campaigning for religious moderation and moderate da’wah. News construction related to religious moderation and moderate da’wah needs to be done to help prevent the emergence of radical, extremist, and liberal views
Moderate Da\u27wah and National Resilience: A Case Study at the Bandung Regency Religious Harmony Forum (FKUB)
This study tries to offer constructive preaching to build national resilience by highlighting Islamic moderation (wasaá¹iyyatul Islam) through a series of moderate da’wah. This research was conducted through a qualitative approach using the case study method on a series of activities carried out by the Bandung Regency Religious Harmony Forum (FKUB) to build a spirit of tolerance, moderation and national harmony. Research data were collected through observation techniques, interviews, documentation, and literature study. The results of the study concluded that wasaá¹iyyatul IslÄm is an authentic character of Islamic law that reflects i\u27tidÄl (perpendicularity) and istiqÄmah (consistency) in aá¹£-á¹£irÄth al-mustaqÄ«m (straight path). Islam is moderate as long as it is understood in the corridor of truth. Islam, with its wasaá¹iyyah nature, should also be preached mildly. MuqÄbalah moderation is not radicalism but extremity. Radical da\u27wah is not a problem as long as istiqÄmah is in the corridor of moderation. Preaching radically moderate Islam is certainly not justified. Extreme da\u27wah undermines Islamic moderation and contradicts Islamic law itself. Islamic moderation necessitates its adherents to practice Islamic law moderately. Moderate da\u27wah socializes Islam to be practised by its followers mildly. Religious moderation is an essential social capital for national resilience. FKUB Bandung Regency has a strategic role in building spiritual awareness in an emancipatory manner, empowering religious communities in a participatory way, building collective and collaborative partnerships, and formulating transformative diversity dialogues. Thus, the existence of FKUB in Bandung Regency can be seen as a social entity that impacts building a spirit of moderate da\u27wah to realize a religious ecosystem that strengthens national resilience
