Analysis of Muallaf ‘Aisyiyah Da’wah Strategy
Muallaf has psychological and social problems, so he needs adequate proselytizing. The assistance of Muallaf requires management in a systematic, planned, and carried out by gradually. This study aims to explore the analysis of Muallaf \u27Aisyiyah\u27s da\u27wah was carried out to see the precision and speed of service according to the characteristics of the problems facing Muslim convert and strength Strengthening given by \u27Aisyiyah to optimize the guidance and counseling services to convert to Islam. The study subjects numbered 55 muballighat from 23 provinces which were excavated through a self-report written in the preachers\u27 training of Aisyiyah, a companion to a Muslim muallaf with instruments prepared as worksheets in the training. The research results describe that SWOT analysis be one solution in formulating appropriate planning and prompt assistance following the problems faced by muallaf. Strengthening the preachers\u27 competence in implementing the mentoring strategy planning is important in efforts to set goals and targets according to the needs of converts. Steps in building of Islamic faith and Islamic, psychological and spiritual strengthening, strengthening family resilience and economic empowerment and well-being executed based on a thorough analysis. Muallaf memiliki permasalahan ideologis, psikologis dan sosial, maka dirinya membutuhkan bantuan yang memadai. Proses memberikan bantuan kepada muallaf membutuhkan pengelolaan secara sistematis, terencana dan dilakukan dengan secara bertahap. Penelitian ini bertujuan menggali analisis dakwah muallaf ‘Aisyiyah yang dilakukan untuk melihat ketepatan dan kecepatan layanan sesuai karakteristik masalah yang dihadapi muallaf serta penguatan yang diberikan oleh ‘Aisyiyah dalam upaya optimalisasi layanan bimbingan dan konseling kepada muallaf. Subyek penelitian berjumlah 55 muballighat dari 23 provinsi yang digali melalui self-report yang dituliskan dalam pelatihan muballighat ‘Aisyiyah pendamping muallaf dengan instrumen yang disiapkan sebagai lembar kerja dalam pelatihan. Hasil penelitian mendeskripsikan bahwa analisis SWOT menjadi salah satu solusi dalam memformulasikan perencanaan pendampingan yang tepat dan cepat sesuai dengan permasalahan yang dihadapi oleh muallaf. Penguatan kompetensi muballighat dalam melaksanakan perencanaan strategi pendampingan menjadi penting dalam upaya menyusun tujuan dan target sesuai kebutuhan muallaf. Langkah-langkah dalam penguatan aqidah dan keislaman, penguatan psikologis dan spiritualitas, penguatan ketahanan keluarga dan pemberdayaan ekonomi dan kesejahteraan dijalankan berdasarkan pada analisis yang matang
Sayyid Qutb’s Concept of Da’wah in His Fi Zilal al Quran
This research aims to describe concept and method of da’wah in Sayyid Qutb’s perspective specially in his work on tafsir, Fi Zilal al-Qur\u27an. The research was conducted by exploring the concept of da’wah theoretically and its implications in dealing with contemporary problem of da’wah. This study employs qualitative approach with content analysis technique and library study method. The result shows that according to Sayyid Qutb understanding, Da’wah is an effort of the believers to realize the Islamic teaching in daily life. Also, da’wah is interpreted as a believer\u27s effort to strengthen Allah SWT\u27s teachings in human life. Sayyid Qutb’s Da’wah method is based on the interpretation of normative sources and historical facts that refer to efforts to preach based on human nature through tenderness, compassion, and good morals. This kind of da’wah conception has impact at the individual, family, community, and community levels in achieving happiness in this world and the hereafter.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan konsep metode dakwah Sayyid Qutb dalam tafsir fÄ« ZilÄl al-Qur’an. Penelitian dilakukan dengan menggali konsep dakwah secara teoritik dan implikasinya dalam menjawab problematika dakwah kontemporer. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode analisis isi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Sayyid Qutb memahami dakwah sebagai usaha orang beriman untuk mewujudkan sistem ajaran Islam dalam kehidupan. Selain itu, dakwah dimaknai sebagai usaha orang beriman untuk mengokohkan ajaran Allah Swt dalam kehidupan. Metode dakwahnya didasarkan pada penafsiran terhadap sumber normatif dan fakta historis yang merujuk pada fitrah manusia melalui kelembutan, kasih sayang dan akhlakul karimah. Implikasi praktis dakwah Islam berlangsung baik pada level individu, keluarga, masyarakat dan umat untuk mencapai kebahagiaan di dunia dan akhirat
Moderate Islam in Indonesia: Activities of Islamic Da\u27wah Ahmad Syafii Maarif
This study aims to observe the activities of the preaching of Ahmad Syafii Maarif as a manifestation of Islamic moderation in the frame of humanity and Indonesian-ness. Ahmad Syafii Maarif in his various ideas always presents a portrait of Islam in Indonesia that is inclusive and tolerant. Where the construction of Islamic da\u27wah is based on Islamic doctrine as a religion of enlightenment that rahmatan lil alamin. The research was conducted through a literature approach by examining various ideas of Ahmad Syafii Maarif. Data collection techniques are done through a discourse analysis and interview approach. The results of this study indicate that the figure of Buya Syafii Maarif runs moderate Islamic da\u27wah activities or persuasive Islamic da\u27wah by interpreting makruf as something known and accepted by reason and by the public. while evil is something that is rejected by common sense. Syafii Maarif\u27s moderate da\u27wah activities were conceptualized into three main Islamic ideas, namely Islam, humanity, and Indonesian-ness. Ahmad Syafii Maarif consistently carried out persuasive and rational Islamic da\u27wah, not intimidation propaganda. Besides, the existence of the Maarif Institute aims to smooth activities to voice his thoughts about the teachings of Islam so that the character and characteristics of moderate Indonesian Islam are socialized.Penelitian ini bertujuan meneropong aktivitas dakwah Ahmad Syafii Maarif sebagai manifestasi moderasi Islam dalam bingkai kemanusiaan dan keindonesiaan. Ahmad Syafii Maarif dalam berbagai gagasannya selalu menampilkan potret Islam di Indonesia yang inklusif dan toleran. Dimana konstrusi dakwah Islam didasarkan pada doktrin Islam sebagai agama pencerahan yang rahmatan lil alamin. Penelitian dilakukan melalui pendekatan kepustakaan dengan mengkaji berbagai gagasan Ahmad Syafii Maarif. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui pendekatan analisis wacana dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan sosok Buya Syafii Maarif menjalankan aktivitas dakwah Islam moderat atau dakwah Islam persuasif dengan memaknai makruf sebagai sesuatu yang dikenal dan diterima oleh akal maupun oleh masyarakat. sedangkan munkar adalah sesuatu yang ditolak oleh akal sehat. Aktivitas dakwah moderat Syafii Maarif dikonsepsikan ke dalam tiga gagasan keislaman utama, yakni keislaman, kemanusiaan dan keindonesiaan. Ahmad Syafii Maarif konsisten melakukan dakwah Islam persuasif dan rasional, bukan dakwah intimidatif. Selain itu, keberadaan Maarif Institute bertujuan untuk kelancaran kegiatan menyuarakan pemikirannya tentang ajaran Islam sehingga tersosialisasikannya watak dan ciri khas Islam Indonesia yang moderat
“Humor in Da’wahâ€: Socio-linguistic Analytic of Kyai Ishaq Latif Da’wah from Pesantren Tebuireng Jombang
This article aims to describe the anatomy of humor exercised consistently by one of Islamic preachers and teachers from Pesantren Tebuireng, Jombang. This article employs qualitative approach. Kyai Ishaq Latif humor in his sermon analyzed by socio-linguistic perspective. This article found that the Islamic teaching containing theology, family relationship, and social interaction was delivered by him with humor such as anecdotes, acronym., codes, limerick, and satire. Humor has been developed within certain social context. Preacher use humor to be more understood by broader audiences. This article thus suggests that the usage of humor in religious sermons will generate intimacy which enable audience accepted the message without being coerced or offended or intimidated. Humor in religious sermon shows social dialect (sociolect) of the preacher that has integrated with his audiences. The usage of humor is an alternative instrument in delivering holy messages (act sequences) to be accepted effectively by the audiences.Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui anatomi humor dalam dakwah yang dikembangkan oleh Kiai Ishaq Latif dari Pondok Pesantren Tebuireng Jombang. Melalui pendekatan kualitatif, paper ini dianalisis menggunakan perspektif sosiolinguistik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat beberapa metode humor Kiai Latif antara lain anekdot, akronim, alih kode, pantun dan sindirian. Selain itu, metode humor merupakan “bahasa†yang lahir dari ruang dan konteks sosial tertentu. Bahasa lelucon yang diselipkan dalam dakwah merupakan bentuk guyub tutur yang jamak berlaku di masyarakat awam. Implikasi praksis penelitian ini adalah humor yang ditunjukan oleh seorang pendakwah akan melahirkan keakraban (intimate) yang memungkinkan seseorang menerima ajaran Islam tanpa tekanan, paksaan dan intimidasi. Pada posisi tertentu, humor juga menunjukan dialek sosial (sosialek) seorang pendakwah yang lebih menyatu dengan psikologi masa. Humor diadopsi sebagai instrument untuk membawa amanat suci (act sequences) ajaran agama Islam agar tersampaikan secara efektif bagi masyarakat
Urgensi Penguasaan Bahasa Arab Bagi Juru Dakwah
Arabic language was chosen by Allah the Almighty as the official language of the last religion, Islam. Undoubtedly, Muslims are supposed to be found of Arabic language and to make every possible effort to learn this holy language. Allah the Almighty sorted out Arabic as Quranic language because it is the best of the existing languages. By mastering Arabic language, we could access abundant Islamic heritages, especially in classical books such as: science, philosophy, theology, and so on. Mastering Arabic language is thus very important, especially for Islamic preachers (da’i) without which they could not understand Islamic basic tenets, Al-Qur’an and Hadith. Psychologically, mastering Arabic language would optimize the effectiveness of dakwah, particularly in transmitting Islamic knowledge to the ummah
Dakwah di Era Konvergensi Media
The problem of dakwah in this era of media convergence lies still in the poor competence of da’i in using advanced communication technology, such as in using online journalism and Internet facilities. This problem can be easily identified in the fact that dakwah tends to involve only limited kinds of media, since media competence among Muslim clerics is severely low. If anything, the involvement of modern media does not give any enlightenment, tends to be merely oriented to entertainment, tends to be forced on, and conveys misleading messages. Hence, there have to be creative efforts that are capable of integrating the quality of dakwah, on the one hand, and the character of media, on the other

Penerapan Metode Dakwah: Bercermin pada Kasus Cigugur
The implementation of any method of dakwah has to consider its relevance with public needs. Hence, a good implementation of a method of dakwah would be based on a preceding identification of the basic problems among the target community (mad’u). The dynamics of the processes of dakwah in Cigugur show that irrelevant approaches (radical ways to protect and save Islam from any foreign influences that would otherwise contaminate true Islam) tangibly resulted in undesired effects. This has led to an alternate method of dakwah (dialogical method), currently underway in Cigugur, seen to be able to save the existence and unity of Muslim community
The Tholiban Brigade Political Da\u27wah Movement in Tasikmalaya
This study aims to analyze the existence of the Tholiban Brigade movement in Tasikmalaya as a socio-religious movement. The research aims to answer the existence, motives, and transformation of the Tholiban Brigade da\u27wah movement in the political field. The research was conducted through a qualitative approach through descriptive methods. Data collection was carried out through observation, interviews, and literature study. The results showed that the legalization of Islamic law in the state\u27s formal law was carried out by the Tholiban Brigade to actualize Islamic da\u27wah towards Islamic daulah. The legalization of Islamic law is carried out in aspirations, participation, coalitions, and regional political bargaining. The motive of the Tholiban Brigade political da\u27wah movement is the spirit of amar maruf nahi munkar both in individual and social spheres. This is an effort to change the social order towards Islamic life as a whole (kaffah). The transformation of the da\u27wah movement towards the Brigade Tholiban political movement is based on religious teachings that view Islam as a religion and state. The implication of this research is expected to map the existence of the Tholiban Brigade political da\u27wah movement in the national political constellation.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis eksistensi gerakan Brigade Tholiban di Tasikmalaya sebagai sebuah gerakan sosial keagamaan. Penelitian diarahkan pada upaya menjawab eksistensi, motif dan transformasi gerakan dakwah Brigade Tholiban dalam bidang politik. Penelitian dilakukan melalui pendekatan kualitatif melalui metode deskriptif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara dan studi pustaka. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa legalisasi syariat Islam dalam hukum formal negara dilakukan oleh Brigade Tholiban sebagai upaya aktualisasi dakwah Islam menuju daulah Islamiyyah. Legalisasi syariat Islam dilakukan dalam bentuk aspirasi, partisipasi, koalisi dan bargaining politik daerah. Motif gerakan dakwah politik Brigade Tholiban adalah spirit amar maruf nahi munkar baik pada lingkup individual maupun sosial. Transformasi gerakan dakwah menuju gerakan politik Brigadi Tholiban didasarkan pada doktrin ajaran agama yang memandang Islam sebagai agama dan negara. Implikasi penelitian ini diharapkan mampu memetakan eksistensi gerakan dakwah politik Brigade Tholiban dalam konstalasi politik nasional
Branding Identity as Da’wah Strategy: Islamic Business Ethics
This study aims to analyze the branding identity used as a da\u27wah strategy. Besides, the research is directed to find the concept of Islamic business ethics as a branding identity. This study used the descriptive qualitative method. The object of research is the slogan as one of the branding identities carried out in 10 companies. The results showed that branding identity as a da\u27wah strategy was carried out in two ways: Qolam (oral and written). Six institutions use Islamic business ethics in their slogans directly and clearly, while four institutions do not state business ethics. The slogan as an Islamic branding identity refers to the principles of communication in Islam, namely Qawlan Sadidan, Qawlan Balighon, Qawlan Karieman, and Qawlan Layyinan.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis identitas Branding digunakan sebagai strategi dakwah. Selain itu, penelitian diarahkan untuk menemukan konsep etika bisnis Islam sebagai identitas Branding. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif-kualitatif. objek penelitian adalah Slogan sebagai salah satu identitas branding yang dilakukan pada 10 perusahaan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa identias branding sebagai strategi dakwah dilakukan dalam dua cara yaitu secara Qolam (lisan maupun tulisan). Sebanyak 6 institusi menggunakan etika bisnis Islam dalam slogan mereka secara langsung dan jelas, sedangkan 4 institusi tidak menyatakan etika bisnis secara langsung dan jelas. Penggunaan slogan sebagai identitas branding Islam merujuk pada prinsip komunikasi dalam Islam yakni Qawlan Sadidan, Qawlan Balighon, Qawlan Karieman dan Qawlan Layyinan
