    Creative Economy-Based Da\u27wah Approach: in the Deaf Community in Lampung

    This study aims to describe the empowerment-based da\u27wah approach among the deaf in the Lampung region. This research also identifies the elements of persuasive da\u27wah in the process of the empowerment process. This study used a descriptive qualitative method by collecting data through interviews and observations and searching literature sources that were considered relevant. The results showed that empowerment has two functions, first as an instrument to build economic independence, which is carried out through providing skills based on hobby development. Secondly, empowerment becomes a persuasive da\u27wah instrument. The process of preaching uses sign language with an orientation to change the dimensions of religiosity, so that there is a change in understanding, experience and appreciation of religion towards a positive direction and an increase in the confidence of members of the deaf community.Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan pendekatan dakwah berbasis pemberdayaan pada kalangan tunarungu di wilayah Lampung. Penelitian ini juga sekaligus mengidentifikasi unsur-unsur dakwah persuasif dalam proses pemberdayaan yang dimaksud. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif dengan mengumpulkan data melalui wawancara dan observasi serta penelusuran sumber pustaka yang dipandang relevan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pemberdayaan memiliki dua fungsi: pertama sebagai instrumen membangun kemandirian ekonomi, yang dilakukan melalui pembekalan keterampilan berbasis pengembangan hobi. Kedua pemberdayaan menjadi instrumen dakwah persuasif. Proses dakwah menggunakan bahasa isyarat dengan orientasi perubahan dimensi-dimensi religiusitas, sehingga terjadi perubahan pemahaman, pengalaman dan penghayatan kegamaan kearah positif dan peningkatan rasa percaya diri para anggota komunitas tunarungu

    Strategy of Da’wah to Improve Muallaf’s Religiousity in Dologuo Village, Bolaangmongondow Regency

    This paper analyzes the religious-social activities done by the preachers as the strategy of da’wah for those who are converted to Islam or “muallaf†in Dologuo Village, Bolaangmongondow Regency. By employing qualitative research, this paper argues that the strategy of da’wah maintained by the preacher (“daiâ€) has influenced to the improvement of religiosity of the “muallafâ€. This paper found that the da’i has been able to implement the strategy of da’wah that is in line with the need of “muallafâ€. They established the religious circle or “pengajianâ€, provide religious books as the reference for the muallaf and building the social cohesion among between the muallaf and the broader Muslim community. This religious commitment can be seen at their ritual, knowledge, and attitude. This study seeks to contribute to the formulation of proper strategy of da’wah to the muallaf.Penelitian ini  bertujuan untuk menganalisis aktivitas sosial keagamaan dan kemasyarakatan yang dijadikan sebagai sarana dan strategi dakwah oleh para da’i  dan berimplikasi pada perubahan prilaku (komitmen religiusitas) muallaf di Desa Doloduo Kabupaten Bolaangmongondow. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif-kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa strategi yang digunakan da’i di Doloduo Bolaangmongondow menyesuaikan dengan kebutuhan muallaf, yaitu meliputi penguatan aspek akidah, ibadah dan muamalah. Selain itu, dakwah dilakukan melalui kelompok pengajian, memberikan buku-buku agama sebagai bacaan dan mempererat persaudaraan antara muallaf dengan muslim lainnya. Komitmen religiusitas muallaf secara umum sudah tampak bagus dilihat dari beberapa indikator yaitu;  aspek keimanan, aspek ritual/ibadah, aspek penghayatan atau kedekatannya dengan Allah, aspek pengetahuan tentang ajaran pokok dalam Islam dan akhlak.     Da\u27wah Patterns through Local Culture of Gesrek Art in Kombongan Village, Garut Regency

    The purpose of this study was to determine the art of Gesrek as a medium of cultural da\u27wah and the pattern of da\u27wah in the local culture of Gesrek art. The research was conducted in Kombongan Village, Pakenjeng Village, Pamulihan District, Garut Regency. The choice of this place was based on the growth and development of the art of Gesrek as one of the local pearls of wisdom of the Garut people. The research was conducted with a qualitative approach through descriptive methods. Where the researcher collects data through observation and in-depth interviews in order to be able to compare the data in the field and the literature review according to the research topic, the results showed that Gesrek art could be used as an effective cultural propaganda medium because this art contains practices that are following Islamic teachings both at the pre-implementation stage and at the time of implementation. The da\u27wah pattern of dialogue is a form of interaction between Islam and local culture in the art of Gesrek. This is marked by the content of the prayer and the behavior of the art following Islamic teachings and sharia, such as readings sourced from Al-Quran verses and rituals prior to their implementation that follow Islamic teachings

    Response of Cireundeu Indigenous Community to Modernization and Islamic Da’wah

    This article describes the dynamics of the indigenous people of Cireundeu in Cimahi with their specific systems in responding to the current modernization and Islamic da’wa activities. Using a qualitative approach, this article argues that the encounter of their traditions with modernization and Islamic da’wa activities which are new traditions, has made indigenous peoples syncretize through parochalization and universalization. Parochialization is carried out by adjusting outside traditional values through their symbols, while universalization is carried out by promoting their local values or practices such as food security into a broader norm. However, interactions with various other traditions have shown continuity in customary preservation and at the same time have shown discontinuity in symbolic matters, their norms, and practices as indigenous people.Artikel ini menguraikan tentang dinamika masyarakat adat Cireundeu di Cimahi dengan berbagai sistem spesifik yang dimilikinya dalam merespon arus modernisasi dan aktivitas dakwah Islam. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif, artikel ini berargumen bahwa perjumpaan tradisi mereka dengan modernisasi dan aktivitas dakwah Islam yang merupakan tradisi-tradisi baru telah membuat masyarakat adat melakukan sinkretitasi melalui parokialisasi dan universalisasi. Parokialisasi dilakukan dengan penyesuaian nilai-nilai tradisi luar melalui simbol-simbol mereka dan universalisasi dilakukan dengan mempromosikan nilai-nilai atau praktik-praktik lokal mereka seperti ketahanan pangan menjadi norma yang lebih luas. Namun demikian, interaksi dengan berbagai tradisi lain ini telah memperlihatkan kontinuitas dalam dalam pelestarian adat dan pada saat yang sama telah pula mempelihatkan gejala diskontinuitas pada hal-hal yang bersifat simbolik, norma dan praktik mereka sebagai masyarakat adat

    Aspects of the Psychological Well-being of Muslim Students in Bandung from the Perspective of Islamic Psychology during the Covid-19 Pandemic

    This article aims to explore aspects of the psychological well-being of Muslim students in Bandung during the Covid19 pandemic from the perspective of Islamic psychology. This study uses a quantitative approach with a survey method. The research participants consisted of 576 Muslim students in Bandung. Data were collected using a psychological well-being instrument developed by Ryff. The data analysis technique used is factor analysis. Based on the results of the study, it was obtained that the dominant aspects of psychological well being were ranked, namely positive relations with others at 74.1%; second, purpose in life by 73.2%; third, self-acceptance of 71.5%; fourth, autonomy of 71.4%; fifth, environmental mastery of 70.1% and the sixth, personal growth of 69.8%.Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi aspek-aspek kesejahteraan psikologis pada mahasiswa muslim di kota Bandung selama pandemi Covid19. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode survey. Partisipan penelitian terdiri dari 576 mahasiswa beragama Islam di kota Bandung dan Cimahi. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan instrumen kesejahteraan psikologis yang dikembangkan oleh Ryff. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu analisis faktor. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diperoleh peringkat aspek-aspek yang dominan terhadap psychological well being yaitu: Pertama positive relations with others sebesar 74.1%; Kedua, purpose in life sebesar 73.2%; Ketiga,  self-acceptance sebesar 71.5%; Keempat, autonomy sebesar 71.4%; Kelima, environmental mastery sebesar 70.1%; dan Keenam, personal growth sebesar 69.8%

    Implementation of Da\u27wah Training Management in Improving the Competence of Da\u27i Nagari West Sumatra

    This study aims to analyze the process of planning, organizing, implementing, and supervising da\u27wah training in the Da\u27i Nagari program under the guidance of BAZNAS, Tanah Datar Regency, West Sumatra. The research uses a qualitative approach through a descriptive study. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and literature study. The study results concluded that there was an implementation of the management function in the Da\u27i Nagari program. This can be reviewed in the planning aspect through the analysis process of the analysis of the training objectives, training participants, the budget allocated for running the program, training facilities and infrastructure, as well as the time and schedule of training activities; the organizing aspect is carried out through a small team as the person in charge consisting of three people; implementation aspects concerning the planning of training programs; and aspects of supervision by involving parties who act as supervisors of training activities. This research has implications for an increase in the competence of preachers both in intellectual, social, and spiritual aspects.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis proses perencanaan, pengorganisasian, pelaksanaan, dan pengawasan pelatihan dakwah pada program Da’i Nagari binaan BAZNAS Kabupaten Tanah Datar Sumatera Barat. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif melalui studi deskriptif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan studi pustaka. Hasil penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa terdapat implementasi fungsi manajemen pada program Da’i Nagari. Hal ini dapat ditinjau pada aspek perencanaan melalui proses analisis analisis tujuan pelatihan, peserta pelatihan, anggaran biaya yang diperuntukan untuk menjalankan program, sarana dan prasarana pelatihan, serta waktu dan jadwal kegiatan pelatihan; aspek pengorganisasian yang dilakukan melalui tim kecil sebagai penanggungjawab yang terdiri dari tiga orang; aspek pelaksanaan dengan merujuk pada perencanaan program pelatihan; dan aspek pengawasan dengan melibatkan pihak yang berperan sebagai pengawas kegiatan pelatihan.     This study aims to identify da\u27wah messages on the TikTok @pksejahtera account during the Covid-19 pandemic related to denotative, connotative, and mythical meanings in da\u27wah content on the TikTok @pksejahtera account limited to tausyiah content from da\u27i to mad\u27u with the hashtag #tausyiah , #habib, #Islam, #pkspelayanrakyat, #remembrance, #PKS, #Bertualangrasa, #tausyiahislam, #minitausyiah, #tausyiahhabibsalim, #ramadhan2021, and #syekhalijaber. This study uses a semiotic analysis method with a qualitative approach. The results showed that denotative Meaning could be observed from the choice of words and the arrangement of sentences in the text; connotative Meaning can be observed from the video images displayed in each scene. In contrast, the Meaning of myth can be found in the da\u27wah content on the TikTok @pksejahtera account by observing the preacher when delivering tausyiah.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi pesan dakwah pada akun TikTok @pksejahtera selama pandemi Covid-19 terkait dengan makna denotatif, konotatif, dan mitos dalam Konten dakwah pada akun TikTok @pksejahtera dibatasi pada konten tausyiah dari da’i kepada mad’u dengan tagar #tausyiah, #habib, #Islam, #pkspelayanrakyat, #zikir, #PKS, #Bertualangrasa, #tausyiahislam, #minitausyiah, #tausyiahhabibsalim, #ramadhan2021, dan #syekhalijaber.     Digitizing Religion: Millenial Generation Da’wah Patterns on Social Media

    The integration of technology has resulted in implementing of the da\u27wah model growing rapidly and dynamically. The research was conducted by identifying how religion is understood and applied by the millennial generation and how da\u27wah can be accepted and understood in the millennial era. This study uses descriptive qualitative, and the arrangement uses literature by reviewing, collecting data through a library approach, and collecting information from various digital sources. The research results show that da\u27wah must be able to position itself in the digital space as an arena of contestation to win the hearts of the people in building a new civilization in the world of da\u27wah. In addition, many applications and interesting da\u27wah content have been developed in the era of media digitization. Thus, it impacts efforts to package da\u27wah messages and disseminate da\u27wah messages regarding religious language in the digital space.     The Cohesiveness of Veiled Women\u27s Da’wah Communication Group

    The purpose of this study was to understand the cohesiveness of the da\u27wah communication of veiled women in the guidance of Islamic teachings. It closely relates the perception of cohesiveness to the sensation component of the collectivity of group members. For example, communication, collectivity, cooperation, common goals, and interdependence of group members. The research method used is descriptive qualitative, case study research type. The subject of the study were 6 female informants, representatives of Hasanuddin University students who wore a veil in their daily life. The collected data were analyzed inductively. The result that the cohesiveness of veiled women\u27s dakwah communication includes aspects of interpersonal communication cohesiveness, commitment cohesiveness, and cohesiveness aspects of achieving common goals. This aspect of cohesiveness focuses his life on life after death. This also makes them have a strong, cooperative, and sincere character together. The cohesiveness of da\u27wah communication to continually learn with Islam. It veils the research implication of the cohesiveness of women on equality for preaching, da\u27wah is the purpose of life so it unites them in da\u27wah efforts.Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk memahami kohesifitas komunikasi dakwah kelompok wanita bercadar dalam tuntunan ajaran Islam. Persepsi kohesifias sangat terkait dengan komponen sensasi kolektifitas anggota kelompok. Seperti, komunikasi, kolektifitas, kerjasama, tujuan bersama, dan saling ketergantungan anggota kelompok.  Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif, tipe penelitian studi kasus (case study). Subjek penelitian wanita bercadar sebanyak 6 informan, representatif mahasiswi Universitas Hasanuddin yang mengenakan cadar dalam keseharian. Selanjutnya, data yang terkumpul dianalisis secara induktif. Hasil penelitian bahwa kohesivitas komunikasi dakwah wanita bercadar meliputi aspek kohesifitas berkomunikasi interpersonal, aspek kohesifitas berkomitmen, dan aspek kohesifitas pencapaian tujuan bersama. Aspek kohesifitas ini memfokuskan kehidupannya untuk kehidupan sesudah mati. Hal ini juga menjadikan mereka memiliki karakter bersama yang kuat, bekerjsama, dan ikhlas. Kohesifitas komunikasi dakwah dalam upaya keinginan belajar bersama Islam secara terus menerus.     The problems that occur to Muslims in the world including Indonesia are somewhat complex. Muslims are still in a circle of poverty. At the same time there is a gap between the lives of elite, Muslim leaders and the fate of most Muslims. This research was conducted to find out how important the role of dakwah bil hal (preaching by action) compared to oral preaching by preachers, preachers in Indonesia. This study uses descriptive qualitative methods that collect data by observation, in-depth interviews and focus group discussions (FGD). From the research conducted, it was found that dakwah bil hal must be done in a balanced manner and in tandem with oral preaching, does not need to be dichotomized between the two. Both methods of da\u27wah must go hand in hand. Dakwah bil hal the case especially in the economic field increases the ability and independence of Muslims. Henceforth will increase the human resources of Muslims, away from backwardness. This has relevance to the theory of uses and gratification theory proposed by Elihu Katz, Jay G. Blumler and Michael Gurevitch. More serious and systematic efforts are needed by Muslim leaders, Muslim organizations in carrying out preaching activities. So that there is no gap between the lives of Muslim leaders, administrators of Islamic organizations and Muslims generallyPersoalan yang terjadi pada kaum muslim di dunia termasuk Indonesia terbilang komplek. Kaum muslim masih berada di dalam lingkaran kemiskinan. Pada saat yang sama ada jarak antara kehidupan elit, tokoh muslim dengan nasib sebagian besar kaum muslim. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui seberapa penting peran dakwah bil hal dibandingkan dengan dakwah bil lisan oleh para dai, pelaku dakwah di Indonesia. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif yang mengumpulkan data dengan observasi, wawancara mendalam dan focus group discussion (FGD). Dari penelitian yang dilakukan, ditemukan bahwa dakwah bil hal harus dilakukan secara seimbang dan beriringan dengan dakwah bil lisan, tidak perlu didikotomikan antara keduanya. Kedua metode dakwah tersebut harus seiring sejalan. Dakwah bil hal khususnya di bidang ekonomi meningkatkan kemampuan dan kemandirian kaum muslim. Untuk selanjutnya akan meningkatkan sumber daya manusia kaum muslim, menjauh dari ketertinggalan. Hal ini memiliki relevansi dengan teori penggunaan dan kepuasan (uses and gratification theory) yang dikemukakan oleh Elihu Katz, Jay G. Blumler dan Michael Gurevitch. Diperlukan upaya lebih serius dan sistematis yang dilakukan oleh tokoh muslim, organisasi muslim di dalam melakukan kegiatan dakwah bil hal. Sehingga tidak ada jurang (gap) antara kehidupan tokoh muslim, pengurus organisasi Islam dengan kaum muslim secara umum
