Abstract: The objectives of this study were to find out on the topic of cube and cuboid: (1) which was better between TPS Modified Mind Mapping (TPSMod), TPS or Direct model that produce learning achievement; (2) which one had better learning achievement between students with high, medium or low categories of mathematics creativity learning; (3) at each category of mathematics  creativity learning, which was better between TPSMod, TPS or Direct model that produce learning achievement; and (4) at each model, which one had better learning achievement between students with high, medium or low categories of mathematics creativity learning. This study was a quasi-experimental with 3´3 factorial design. The population was all of students in eigth grade of State Junior High School in Pemalang Regency on Academic Year 2012/2013. The samples were taken by using a stratified cluster random sampling technique. The samples was students in eight grade of SMP Negeri 1 Randudongkal, Moga and Pulosari. The instrument of this study were mathematics creativity learning questionnaire and learning achievement test. The questionnaire tryout included content validity, internal consistency and reliability, and the test tryout included content validity, difficulty level, discrimination power, and reliability. Before the experiment was done, the balance of prior knowledge was examined by using unbalanced one way anova test. The hypothesis test used unbalanced two ways anova. Test requirements included normality test used Lilliefors method and the homogeneity test used the Bartlett test. The results of the study were as follows: (1) the TPSMod model produce the learning achievement better than the TPS and direct learning, the TPS model give the same learning achievement as the direct learning; (2) the high and medium categories of mathematics creativity learning have the same learning achievement, and both of category of mathematics creativity learning have better learning achievement from low categories of mathematics creativity learning; (3) at each categories of mathematics creativity learning, theTPSMod model produce the learning achievement better than the TPS and direct learning, the TPS give the same learning achievement as the direct learning; and (4) at each models, the high and medium categories of mathematics creativity learning have the same learning achievement, and both of category of mathematics creativity learning have better learning achievement from low categories of mathematics creativity learning. Keywords: Learning Achievement, TPS Modified by Mind Mapping , Mathematics Creativity Learnin

Abstract. The objective of this research was to investigate the effect of the learning models on the learning achievement in Mathematics viewed from the mathematical communication of the students. The learning models compared were the cooperative learning model of the TGT type with audio-visual media, the cooperative learning model of the TGT type, and the direct learning model. This research  was the quasi experimental. Its population was all of the students in Grade VII of State Junior Secondary Schools of Pati regency in Academic Year 2013/2014. The taken samples used technique stratified cluster random samples consisted of 283 students, consisted 3 class, namely 97 students in Experimental Class I, 94 students in Experimental Class II, and 92 students in Control Class. The instruments to gather the data were test of achievement in Mathematics on the learning material of Quadrangle, and test of mathematical communication. The proposed hypotheses of the research were analyzed by using the two way analysis of variance with unbalanced cells. The results of the research were as follows: 1) The TGT type with audio-visual media results in a better learning achievement than the TGT type and the direct learning model, and the TGT provided a better learning achievement of direct learning model, 2) The students with the high mathematical communication was a better learning achievement than those with the moderate and low mathematical communication, while the students with moderate mathematical communication was the same learning achievement as those with the low mathematical communication, 3) a) In the students with the high mathematical communication, the TGT type with audio-visual media results in the same learning achievement as the cooperative learning model of the TGT type, the TGT type with audio-visual media or the TGT type results in a better learning achievement than  the  direct  learning  model,  3) b) the category of moderate and low mathematical communication, the TGT type with audio-visual media provided equal learning performance both with models the TGT type and direct learning model, 4) a) In the TGT type with audio-visual media, students who was a high mathematical communication was the same learning achievement as those with the moderate mathematical communication, the students with the moderate mathematical communication was the same learning achievement as those with the low mathematical communication, and students who with the high mathematical communication was a better learning achievement than those with the low mathematical communication, 4) b) In the TGT type, students with the high mathematical communication was a better learning achievement than those with the moderate or low mathematical communication, and students with the moderate mathematical communication was the same learning achievement as those with the low mathematical communication, 4) c) In the direct learning model, students with the high mathematical communication was the same learning achievement as those with the moderate or low mathematical communication. Keywords: TGT, audio-visual media, and mathematical communicatio

Abstract: The aim of this research was to describe male and female students creativity of class VIII SMPN 1 Arjosari District of Pacitan that has a Field Dependent and Field Independent cognitive style in solving space geometric problem. This was a qualitative research. These subjects were taken using purposive sampling and snowball sampling. The subjects of this research were the students in the eight grade of SMPN 1 Arjosari. Data collection techniques in this research were GEFT, creativity test and interview. Techniques to validate the data were time triangulation. The data analysis technique used was the concept of Miles and Huberman consisted of data reduction, data display, and conclusion. The aspect of creativity in this research were consists of  four aspects, there were fluency,  flexibility, originality and elaboration. Students less creative if they do not meet the four aspects of creativity, quite creative if they meet one, two and three aspects of creativity and creative if they meet the four aspects of creativity. The results showed that male students that have Field Dependent in solving problems are quite creative because they meet one of the creativity aspects which is fluency. The male students that have Field Independent in solving problems are quite creative because they meet two creativity aspects which are fluency and elaboration. The female students that have Field Dependent in solving problems are quite creative because they meet two creativity aspects which are fluency and elaboration. The female students that have Field Independent in solving problems are quite creative because they meet three creativity aspects which are fluency, flexibility and elaboration. So the male and female students that have Field Dependent and Field Independent have a quite creative but it are different in each aspect of creativity. Keywords: creativity, problem solving, cognitive style, gender
