    Understanding Cultural Differences Towards English-Speaking Countries in English Camp Program 2019

    The term cultural differences had long been known by a lot of people all around the world, but only a few of them knows about cultural differences happened in English training program by English Education Department just like English Camp Program. Due to that reason, the researcher is interested in digging more about the cultural differences towards English-speaking countries in English Camp Program 2019 in relation to the understanding of college students about some foreign cultures. In general, this research will use qualitative descriptive method because the main goal is to describe about students’ understanding on cultural differences through that English Camp Program. More specifically, this research will use receptive approach along with sinchronic method because it is only observe about the phenomena which happened in certain period of time. The result shows that students can understand about cultural differences in English-speaking countries through debating, public speaking, and presenting what’s on their booth. Cultures understood during the program are about tourist attractions, culinary aspects, myths and legends, people’s habits and ideas, music and dance, government system, arts and festivals, region and religion. Moreover, the students will enable to understand cultures quickly and easily if they are given the information practically rather than theoretically like giving materials in the classroom

The research method used is a qualitative method with a descriptive analytical approach. The results of the study show that the use of social media in civic education courses is not optimal, especially in its application. This is due to the lack of lecturers with a background in civic education and the absence of special education for lecturers who teach this subject. The role of the government, institutions and other relevant departments is very necessary so that the Civic Education courses in shaping the younger generation who have high character and nationalism can be realized both in theory and in daily life

This researchis motivated by the increasing prevalence of social media users. Interaction in thevirtual world sometimes has a negative impact on its users. This study uses aqualitative approach. Data collection techniques using interviews and observation.Data analysis techniques use discourse analysis. The results of this study obtaineddata that sexual harassment that occurs on social media is divided into writingharassment, verbal abuse, visual abuse, and real abuse.     In this study, used types of quantitative research, with the goal to determine differencesthat Diligent Student Achievement is Reading and Reading graders Not Diligent V. In thisstudy there was no special treatment of the research object. The population or the entiresubject in this study were students of class V Public Elementary School District 01 DistrictBanyuates Lacker school year 2015/2016 with a total population of 32 students. Thesample in this study was all students of class V SD Negri 01 Academic Year 2015/2016Banyuates District of Sampang numbered as many as 32 students. To prove theadmissibility of the value t table hypothesis tested by t-test analysis results of hypothesistesting as follows. From these results obtained t = 1.813 and the outcome of the t-countvalue is smaller than the table level significant 5% with N = 32-2(D.b = 30) is 2,042 sorefused Hypothesis alternative (HA) and accept the null hypothesis (H0), so it can beconcluded that there is no difference significant between student achievement are diligentlyread and diligently read in class V SDN country 01

Many people usually ask the quality of such kinds of free of charge  schools. The low price makes a low standard for the students. Denpasar Sathya Sai School has proven that the free learning service does not mean the standard quality of the school is low. Using a qualitative approach, this case study was conducted at the Denpasar Sathya Sai School, which has distinctive characteristics. The data were extracted through in-depth observation of the learning activities and learning environment of children in school and FGD (focus group discussion) with classroom teachers, school of kindergarten head, principal of elementary school, foundation and parents.
