No full textSimultaneous regional elections held in 2018 in 171 regions in Indonesia recorded voter reached73.24% of the total permanent voters list (DPT) available. There has been a decrease in the levelof community participation if compared to the 2017 elections which reached 74% (source: KPUData) become a matter of concern so that it does not continue to occur in every general election.One method used is through citizenship education. This study aims to determine whethercitizenship education for beginner voters can already be used as a basis in understanding andinterpreting the general election and is there a significant effect of citizenship education on theincrease in the participation of beginner voters in general elections. From the research conductedon 200 adolescent voters in 3 senior high schools and 2 universities in Medan took a case studyon the election of the Governor and Deputy Governor of North Sumatra in 2018. Final resultshowing that there was a strong correlation between citizenship education and the level ofparticipation of beginner voters in general election. when the citizenship education is receivedbetter by the beginner voters , then the level of participation in the election become higher

No full textThe potential of a nation is determined by various things, among others: the population,quality of human resources (HR), natural resources, moral, and mental of the nationitself. Indonesia is a country with great territory, natural resources, and humanresources. The quality of our environment is now apprehensive, because of thedestruction of forests, forest fires, landslides, deforestation. It needs a social movementwith all components of society to create healthy living environment, green forest,greening on the western slopes of G.Wilis Madiun Regency . Madiun Regency has alarge area, large natural resources and hutanlebat, but strangely regional economicpower is not as large as the area and natural resources like other areas. Currently,forest destruction on the G.Wilis slope is quite alarming, both within the forest andoutside the forest. Views of deforested forests, arid lands, landslide cliffs occureverywhere on the western slopes of Wilis mountain, Flora and fauna are damaged, thecontent of 02 (oxygen) is thinning. For that required social movement of all societystart, ulama ', umara', young generation, student, student, youth cadets, santri pondokpesantren, social organization, all citizen, TNI / Polri to preserve forest. This researchis a qualitative research, data collection through interview, deep observation,documentation, with data analysis through stages: Data Collection, Data Reduction,Display data, Conclution / Vervying. The results show that there has been forestdestruction on the western slopes of G.Wilis Madiun Regency and reforestation /reforestation required for the green forest to return, flora / fauna grow and avoidedlandslides and fresh air / autoproduction

This is given thatthe current multicultural values have not been optimally strived so that awareness of respectfor differences has not yet materialized. The cultivation of existing multicultural values is moreeffectively implemented through the role of subjects in the school, one of which is the Civicssubject. The mission of one of the subjects is to instill multicultural values. The importance ofgrowing multicultural values is aimed at creating tolerant citizens who are able to solveproblems peacefully and be able to respect differences. The method used in this paper istinjaun library (Library Research). The role of Civics in an effort to instill multicultural valuesinclude: 1) The cultivation of multicultural values in the preparation of lesson plans; 2) Thecultivation of multicultural values in the implementation of learning; 3) Assessment based onattitude assessment (affective); and 4) the role of Civic teachers as role models for theirstudents to instill multicultural values implemented through classroom learning

No full textCitizenship education is a compulsory subject in all universities based on the Law onNational Education System. The purpose of this research is to know the implementationof civic education in universities as well as obstacles and challenges in theimplementation. The research method used is descriptive analytical with qualitativeapproach. Data collection techniques consist of primary data obtained fromrespondents and secondary data in the form of literature, scientific journals bothnationally and internationally. From the result of research, it is found that giving thecourse of civic education by lecturer is only theoretical only without accompanied bythe implementation of student activities. In addition, the lecturers who hold the subjectsof civic education have no competence in the field of state defense and do not getspecial training as lecturer of civic education from any institution. This requiressupport from the central government through the National Resilience Institute byproviding training in the form of lecturer candidates courses for Pancasila Educationand Citizenship Education courses
Building Creativity Student through Portfolio Model-Based Learning Subject Civic Education
No full textThe purpose of this research is to develop creativity using portable-based learningmethod. The study is development research using classroom action research principle.This research uses three research cycles. In the first cycle Average students' creativethinking ability in Lead cycle 24.28%. The average student attendance in educationalactivities in the first cycle was 32.5%. In the second cycle, the average increase instudent effectiveness in cycle II of 48.47%. The average student attendance in thelearning activity in the second cycle was 47.5%. In cycle three addition, the ability willbe used in a high category that is equal to 75,71%, student participation in learningactivity included in the good category, that is equal to 82%. Thus it can be concludedthat the learning portfolio can improve students' creative thinking ability

This paper aims to analyze the rules of authority narcoticsinvestigation of criminal offenses. This paper is based on research using the normativeapproach to law (statute approach) and the conceptual approach (conceptualapproach). The results showed that the regulation of narcotic crime investigationauthority should be clarified and given limit, so in practice the rule of law is not a clashof authority between the National Narcotics Agency to police the Republic of Indonesia.As well as law enforcement agencies in carrying out their duties effectively and goes inaccordance with the criminal justice system

Thisstudy showed that the theory of civic education on the concept of communitarianrepublican was very appropriate in promoting public policy, while liberal theory onlyleads to political democracy about the freedom to express opinions; however otherelements were not appropriate because of it against the values of Pancasila
