Penerapan teknik cynema therapy untuk meningkatkan pemahaman siswa terhadap bahaya merokok
The purpose of the study is to know the application of cinema therapy techniques that can improve students' understanding to the dangers of smoking at SMP Muhammadiyah Palangkaraya. This research is a quantitative experimental approach. Experimental design used in this study was pre-experimental design in the form of one group pretest-posttest design. This means that by this study design uses only one group as the experimental group was given treatment without a comparison group. The population of this study amounted 28 people, with 8 samples indicated the learners who have an understanding to dangers of smoking are low. The collection of research data using interviews, documentation, questionnaires and focus group focus. Analysis of data using statistical test of Paired Samples T Test with application software SPSS version 17.00. The results showed that the cinema therapy techniques can improve students' understanding to the dangers of smoking at SMP Muhammadiyah Palangkaraya
Single Mothers Parenting Style In Adolescent Development: A Pilot Study
This study aims to understand the single mother parenting style in adolescent development. This pilot study involved three single mothers in Wajo District, South Sulawesi, Indonesia. Criteria single mothers were selected based on the following criteria: (1) those who are divorced, widow, separated or single parenting, and abandoned by her husband for two years which do not provide for sufficient; (2) they are the mother of their own child, and (3) they have children aged 13-15 years old. The study participants were coded to represent single mothers (SM), consisting of SM1-PS, SM2-PS, dan SM3-PS. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with the participants. The interview session takes about 20-30 minutes for each participant and interviews are recorded by voice recording device. The data gathered from semi-structured interviews were transcribed. The data analyzed using N-vivo 11 software. The results reported two main themes are: 1) the relationship between single mother and the child, with sub-theme are: communication; 2) the single mother ways in parenting style, with sub-themes: motivation, setting rules, solving the problem, supporting children’s activities, respecting children’s opinions. Conclusion: The relationships between single mother and their child as well that is supported by communication with the mother. The ways that single mothers do in parenting style applies motivation, setting rules, solving the problem, supporting children’s activities, respecting children’s opinions. Those ways are more like authoritative parenting style. In addition, the single mothers who use corporal punishment by hitting children are more likely to cause children to run away from home and afraid to go home. In addition, the mother is firm in showing her decision to be followed by the child and no one can change it. The ways that single mothers do are more likely to be authoritarian style
Efektivitas layanan informasi dengan menggunakan metode blended learning untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar
This study aimed to identify the effectiveness of layanan informasi using blended learning methods to improve students' motivation. The study used a quasi-experimental design types of non equivalent control group. Sampling using purposive sampling with sample 22 in the experimental group and 23 control group. The instrument uses Pengukuran Motivasi Belajar Scale (SPMB). The study findings revealed that 1) the level of student motivation experimental group in the pretest middle category while, at posttest at the high category, 2) the level of student motivation control group at pretest and posttest same which are in the moderate category, 3) there is a difference significant student motivation experimental group before and after treatment of information services using blended learning methods, 4) there is a significant difference in students' motivation experimental group treated with the information service blended learning method with the control group. Based on these results it can be concluded that the service information using blended learning methods effectively improve students' motivation
Self-regulated Learning Mahasiswa Pendidikan Guru Sekolah Dasar (PGSD) Tahun Pertama
The research is aimed to measure the comprehension level toward regulated learning of the students who are in the first year of prospective teacher related with the GPA (Grade Point Average) achieved. The research applied desciptive research method, and the data collection was done using survey towards 75 students which is 13% percents from the population, the PGSD Semester II students in FKIP of Semarang University. The findings showes that comprehension level of SRL of the PGSD students who are in their first year was 72% (the comprehension level of SRL was high), and there were positive effect between self-regulated learning (SRL) and GPA (Grade point Average) of the students. The higher the comprehension level towards the SRL the higher GPA will be achieved
Model bimbingan kelompok dengan teknik bermain peran untuk meningkatkan keterampilan sosial
This study aims to: (1) know the description of how to do the group guidance, (2) know the students social skills, (3) create a group guidance model using role play technique to increase the students social skills. The methodoogy applied in the study is Research and Development (R&D). The population of the study is the students of Grade 5 Athirah Primary School Makasssar which is 62 stduents. The technique sampling used in the study is purposive sampling which is applied to 8 of the students. The result of the wilcoxon statistic test shows that group guidance model using role play technique is effective to increase students social skills. The study suggests the teacher especially guidance and counseling teacher to optimalize the application of group guidance service using role play technique that function as the tool to help students to increase their social skills.
Penanganan post traumatic stress disorder melalui trauma healing bagi pramuka peduli
The purpose of activity is (1) to improve the knowledge of Scouting Care in Post Traumatic Stress Disorder overcome through Trauma Healing, (2) To improve the technical skills of Trauma Healing. The method used in this activity are: the percentage method, lecture and question and answer, discussion methods, methods of practice. The results of these activities are (1) there is an increased knowledge of participants in following the activities, especially in implementing and applying the theory and practice of PTSD to handling, from the data worksheet that was analyzed contained 94.5% of the questions as an evaluation materials may be answered by the participants. This indicates that the participant understands and is able to apply the techniques of PTSD very well in dealing with post-disaster stress. (2) Participants skillfully PTSD through psychotherapy techniques such as: deepbreating, relaxation techniques, storytelling/story telling, play therapy/role playing and games-games. From a practice several times, through observation through direct observation, illustrating that the participants could perform well in groups or individually

The research is aimed to 1) know the implementation of group counseling in private vocational school in Semarang. 2) know the social intelligence condition in SMK Roudiotus Saidiyyah Semarang. 3) Produce Islamic teaching based group counseling model to increase social intelligence of students in Roudiotus Saidiyyah Semarang. 4) ehther or not the implementation of the islamic teaching based group counseling model effectiveness in increasing social intelligence of the students in Roudiotus Saidiyyah Semarang. The research method used is Research and Development (R & D) method. The data analysis technique used are both qualitative and quantitative. Kemampuan motorik halus melalui teknik finger painting anak down syndrome
The research to improve fine motor ability of Down Syndrome students in terms : painting by using all fingers, by using fingers alternately, eyes-hand coordination. The research is experiment by using descriptive quantitative approach. The design employed Single Subject Research A-B-A. The stage of basaline A1, intervention stage consisted, and basaline A2 consisted. The main data source of the research was Down Syndrome students class VII inisials Tl. Data collection technique used direct observation. The data processed by counting the percentage fine motor ability consisted 3 aspects, namely: painting by using all fingers, painting by using fingers alternately, coordination eyes and hand. The data of the research was analyzed by using quantitative descriptive; then, analyzed by using visual graphic presented in a form of Split-Middle-Technique graphic. The result of intervention given indicates that finger painting technique can improve fine motor of Down Syindrome students in terms of: painting by using all fingers, painting by using fingers alternately, eyes-hand coordination. This improvement through several indicators such as: estimation of direction tendency of each stage which tended to better, the improveme.t of mean level, from basaline A1 to basaline A2, the data overlap percentage from to stage tended to be smaller
