    The Purpose of this study to determine the effectiveness of anger management training to reduce student’s aggressiveness at SMAN 8 Makassar. This study uses a quantitative approach experimental of True Experimental Design. The population in this study were 80 students who have a high level of aggressiveness dan sample selected by technique simple random sampling as many as 40 students which is them divided 20 students for the experimental group and 20 students for the control group. Training of anger management is carried out as much as 6 session with 7 time meetings. Data collection techniques gained through scale, questionnaire and observation. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistical analysis and hypothesis testing using inferential statistical analysis parametric t-test. The result showed that there is difference significance student’s level aggressiveness before and after received anger management training (p = 0,000 < α = 0,05). Based on result, the study concluded that anger management training can reduce the student’s level aggressiveness at SMAN 8 Makassar

    The purpose of the research is the development of student character and know the effectiveness of the content mastery service with the technique of modeling. The experimental method. The population of the research is the students of BK semester V amounted to 212 students. The pre-test recapitulation obtained a total score of 2205 with an average of 105. The total score is classified into low character category with the percentage of 14.3%. From the empirical data above, the researcher wants to make the low student character become moderate, which is being able to increase to high and high become very high. So the steps taken is to provide mastery of the content through modeling techniques to develop student character BK. Post-test results after given content mastery service to develop the character, obtained data that 76% of students are in very high category and 24% high. While the scores obtained medium and low characters are absent or 0%. The content mastery service model with developed modeling techniques can be effective by providing examples and models for students who are intensive and ongoing

    ABSTRACT Globalization caused by modern and dynamic society, creates several kinds of concepts, terms, and new theories today. The development in psychological science, and guidance and counseling are indicators of science development. Society problems come from the result of the change from that society, for example modern lifestyle that gives positive and negative impact. Transgender, gay, and lesbian phenomenon is one of the alternative lifestyle that spreads in Indonesia which is experienced by teenagers. It creates new problem for teenagers, their family, and their surroundings. The biggest problem in this case is there’s no specific step for counselor and psychiatrist to help transgender, gay, or lesbian counselee. The new concept that offered in this article is  Six Continuum of Transgender Counseling. Six continuum are aimed to give direction for counselor  that may help gay, lesbian, and transgender counselee by doing counseling. Six continuum that have to be passed by counselor are (1) self, (2) relationship, (3) differential of feeling, (4) spiritual intervention, (5) acceptance of environment. Researchers are using literature study as their research method, by explored and examined some literatures: books, journal, dissertation, e-book, and some cases that happened in our society.     PENGEMBANGAN MODUL PERENCANAAN KARIER UNTUK SISWA SMP

    Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan menyusun modul perencanaan karier untuk membantu siswa SMP dalam merencanakan studi lanjut yang teruji secara teoritis maupun praktis, yaitu memenuhi kriteria keberterimaan melalui uji ahli, uji kelompok kecil dan uji kelompok terbatas. Desain penelitian ini menggunakan tiga tahapan yaitu studi pendahuluan, pengembangan dan uji coba. Subjek penelitian yaitu empat orang ahli, tiga orang konselor dan enam orang siswa. hasil uji ahli dan uji kelompok kecil diperoleh hasil bahwa prototype yang dikembangkan telah memenuhi syarat keberterimaan. Hasil uji kelompok terbatas (eksperimen) dengan one-group pretest- posttest design terhadap enam orang siswa, menunjukkan hasil yang nyata bahwa setelah mengikuti kegiatan bimbingan perencanaan karier menggunakan modul rata-rata siswa mengalami peningkatan dalam semua komponen perencanaan karier, yaitu pengetahuan tentang diri sendiri, pengetahuan studi lanjutan, pemilihan rencana karier, pengambilan keputusan karier dan melaksanakan rencana. Disimpulkan terjadi peningkatan setelah mengikuti kegiatan bimbingan perencanaan karier. Hal ini berarti bahwa modul perencanaan karier efektif untuk membantu siswa dalam memilih studi lanjut.

    Tujuan penelitian ini adalah (1) Untuk megetahui gambaran pemahaman terhadap studi lanjutan siswa SMP negeri 23 Makassar sebelum dan sesudah diberikan perlakuan berupa layanan informasi karir dengan media buku bergambar (2) Untuk mengetahui efektifitas layanan informasi karir dengan media buku bergambar untuk meningkatkan pemahaman terhadap studi lanjutan siswa di SMP Negeri 23 Makassar. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan eksperimen (True Experimental Designs) dalam bentuk Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data melalui angket, dan observasi. Analisis data menggunakan analisis statistic deskriptif non parametric wilcoxon signed ranks test. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan (1) Gambaran pemahaman terhadap studi lanjutan siswa di SMP Negeri 23 Makassar sebelum diberi layanan informasi karir dengan media buku bergambar berada pada kategori rendah, setelah diberi layanan informasi karir dengan media buku bergambar mengalami peningkatan berada pada kategori tinggi (2) Layanan informasi karir dengan media buku bergambar efektif dapat meningkatkan pemahaman terhadap studi lanjutan siswa di SMP Negeri 23 Makassar.

    MODEL PENGENTASAN SIKAP PROKRASTINASI AKADEMIK (STUDI PENGEMBANGAN BERBASIS COGNITIVE BEHAVIOR THERAPY)

    This study aims to determine (1) description of the demand level of reduction model of academic procrastination attitude on high school students in Makassar. (2) Description of a hypothetical model of academic procrastination attitude alleviation based on cognitive behavior therapy. (3) Description of the academic procrastination attitude alleviation model, based on cognitive behavior therapy which had developed. This study used the approach and development of research as well as qualitative and quantitative methods. The study population was high school in the city of Makassar with a sample of 12 schools. The results showed: (1) the demands’ level of academic procrastination attitude reduction model of high school students in Makassar at the high category; (2) the hypothetical model is the beginning of the preparation of academic procrastination attitude alleviation models. The model was developed based on the need assessment. The model consists of several components such as rational, objectives, scope, target population, the basic assumptions, the working principle, system support services, the role of counselor, procedure implementation, evaluation model, and the model guidelines; (3) the developed models are models that have gone through the stage of model validation both by BK experts and practitioners in schools so that the model has been tested in  content and descriptively. Therefore, the developed model generated in this study is a model that is ready to be used in schools to help students in eliminating academic procrastination habit

    Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah (i) untuk mengetahui mengetahui bentuk perilaku agresif siswa di SMPN 8 Makassar. (ii) mengetahui faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi perilaku agresif siswa di SMPN 8 Makassar. (iii) mengetahui dampak perilaku agresif bagi prestasi belajar dan hubungan dengan teman sebaya siswa di SMPN 8 Makassar. (iv) bentuk penanganan perilaku agresif siswa di SMPN 8 Makassar. Jenis penelitian ini adalah studi kasus. Pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan analisis deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian; (i) bentuk perilaku agresif siswa adalah perilaku agresif fisik seperti memukul, membanting pintu, membanting meja, menyenggol, melempar, memukul meja, mendorong, dan menyentil telinga. Bentuk perilaku agresif verbal seperti mengancam, membentak, memaki, menghina, mengejek, berteriak dan memanggil dengan sebutan buruk. (ii) faktor yang memengaruhi perilaku agresif adalah (a) pengalaman masa kecil, (b) perlakuan buruk orangtua, (c) dukungan dari orangtua dan teman sebaya, (d) peran model kekerasan yang dilihat dari orangtua, teman sebaya, dan kebiasaan nonton TV dan main game yang beradegan kekerasan, (e) amarah yang tak terkontrol, (f) frustasi karena selalu gagal dalam mencapai tujuan. (iii) dampak perilaku agresif yaitu prestasi belajar rendah dan hubungan sosial dengan teman sebaya yang tidak baik dan (iv) bentuk penanganan perilaku agresif melalui teknik psikodrama.

    TEKNIK TWO STAY TWO STRAY DALAM BIMBINGAN KELOMPOK UNTUK MENINGKATKAN WAWASAN SISWA DALAM PEMILIHAN JURUSAN DI PERGURUAN TINGGI

    Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan wawasan siswa dalam pemilihan jurusan di perguruan tinggi melalui teknik two stay two stray dalam bimbingan kelompok. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan tipe quasi experiment menggunakan desain pretest-posttest control group design, pengolahan datanya dilakukan dengan metode statistik. Sampel sebanyak 40 siswa yang berasal dari kelas XII IPS1 sebanyak 20 siswa dan XII IPS2 sebanyak 20 siswa yang diambil menggunakan simple random sampling, kemudian dibagi ke dalam dua kelompok yaitu kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah angket (kuesioner) dan observasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis deskriptif dan analisis t-test atau uji t. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara wawasan siswa dalam pemilihan jurusan pada kelompok eksperimen sebelum (pretest) dan setelah (posttest) diberikan perlakuan teknik two stay two stray dalam bimbingan kelompok
