This study used a descriptive qualitative research method in which data was obtained by interview. documentation and observation around the school environment. During the Covid 19 pandemic, the government issued an online learning policy. Muhammadiyah 6 Krian Junior High School implements a learning strategy, namely learning online and offline. Teachers often face various kinds of obstacles when learning online. For that, the application of offline learning is also applied to optimize student learning

Get PDFCharacter is something that cannot be built easily only by teaching the theory of values contained but also dominantly must be practiced in everyday life. Discipline is one of the characters that will be discussed this time. Judging from the current phenomenon, namely the impact of online learning during the Covid-19 pandemic, the habituation of disciplined characters that had previously become a habit gradually faded, which also resulted in student learning outcomes. For example, there are often online delays to enter class, delays in submitting assignments, not participating in activities, or coloring hair. All of this requires proper handling and a balance of cooperation between teachers and parents is needed. In this phenomenon the author uses descriptive qualitative research methods, where this study collects data from interviews with informants and observes the behavior of a group is analyzed and then described by connecting theories with one another. The topic that the author is aiming for is the habituation of discipline in SMP Muhammadiyah 6 Krian students during the COVID-19 pandemic What handling and habits are applied to regenerate the impact caused by Covid-19
The Effect of Anti-Smoking Advertising on Changes in Smoking Intentions in Active Smokers: Pengaruh Iklan Anti Rokok Terhadap Perubahan Niat Merokok pada Perokok Aktif
Get PDFIntentions to smoking represents people motivation to smoke. Exposure to anti-smoking ads considered as one of the most effective way to overcoming people intentions to smoke. Current study aims to see the effect of anti-smoking ad on smoking intentions in active smokers. This experimental quantitative study using an anti-cigarette advertisement video as an intervention method. Subjects (N = 20 people) are an undergraduate student who also an active smoker, with aged range from 18-24 years old. The result of paired sample t-test hypothesis showed that there is significant difference of smoking intentions (p <0.05) before (M = 20,35; SD = 0,244) and after (M = 13,85; SD = 0,549) the intervention was given. An average difference of 6.5 indicates that anti-smoking ad exposure can be said to have a major impact to decrease individual smoking intentions. The modeling principles from social learning theory and teror management theory explain the changing in intentions that occured in this study. The implications of this research will be discussed further
Short Film Animation As Media For Teaching Writing Descriptive Text
Get PDFThis research is to know the effects of the use of short film animation as media for teaching writing descriptive text for 7thgrade students at Junior High School. The method that used in this study was Quasi-Experimental, which are conducted an experimental class and control class. Based on the results of statistical calculations, the average score in the experimental class the pre-test value is lower than the post-test. Meanwhile, in the control class the average pre-test and post-test results were still as low. The t-test results showed that the tv value was higher than the table (3.80> 1,999) with 62 degrees of freedom and a significance level of 5%. That is, the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted and the null hypothesis (Ho) is rejected. So, the use of animated short films gives effect in writing descriptive text

Get PDFManagement of Islamic education institutions can be defined as a form of cooperation to carry out planning functions, organizing, preparation of personnel or staffing, direction and leadership, and supervision of the efforts of members of Islamic education institutions and the use of human, financial, physical and other resources by making Islam the foundation and guide in their operational practices to achieve the objectives of Islamic education institutions in various types and forms which essentially try to help someone or a group of students in instilling teachings and / or develop Islamic values. This study wanted to find out the management and defense owned by Islamic education institutions in managing Islamic education institutions. This study aims to determine the management and challenges of Islamic education institutions in the tahfiẓ al- Qur'an program in Ma’had Umar Bin Al-Khattab, Muhammadiyah University of Surabaya. This type of research is qualitative research, namely research that produces descriptive data, namely a type of research that seeks to present data and actual facts about the management of Islamic education institutions in the tahfiẓ al-Qur'an program in Ma'had Umar Bin Al-Khattab University Muhammadiyah Surabaya. Data collection techniques used in this study were (1) interview (2) observation (3) documentation. For data analysis using descriptive techniques, the application is carried out in three activities, namely data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion or verification. The results of this study indicate that first, planning in Ma'had Tahfiẓ Umar Bin Al-Khattab Surabaya carried out activities (1) developing a strategic plan, which included vision and mission, objectives, strategic programs, implementation strategies, monitoring and evaluation; (2) arranging the rules of the santri (3) compiling technical guidelines for the implementation of activities. Second, organizing in managing Ma'had Tahfiẓ Umar Bin Al-Khattab, including (1) arranging the organizational structure and the map of the program's responsibility (2) preparing the tasks and positions of each personnel (3) structuring the program. Third, the mobilization in Ma'had Tahfiẓ Umar Bin Al- Khattab was said to be (1) motivating; (2) coordination; (3) leadership and (4) maintaining good relations with ustadh, santri and staff. Fourth, controlling in Ma'had Tahfiẓ Umar Bin Al-Khattab is divided into (1) monitoring and evaluation (2) assessment. Fifth, the constraints of management of Islamic education institutions in the Islamic program in Ma'ad Umar Bin Al-Khattab consist of, (1) financial activities and operations in Ma'had Tahfiad Umar Bin Al-Khattab Surabaya still rely on permanent donors; (2) makeshift facilities; (3) Inadequate human resources. The six obstacles faced in the tahfiẓ al-Qur'an program are (1) the saturation and laziness felt by the santri in carrying out established programs; (2) guarding the memorization of the Qur'an that has been memorized (3) guarding themselves from immorality. From the results of this study it can be suggested (1) in improving the quality of Islamic education institutions, Ma'had Tahfiẓ Umar Bin Al-Khattab Surabaya should improve the quality of institutional management; (2) The Asia Muslim Charity Foundation (AMCF) should provide funds for operational and learning activities that exist in Ma’had Tahfiẓ Umar Bin Al-Khattab Surabaya; (3) The Asia Muslim Charity Foundation (AMCF) and the Muhammadiyah Union pay more attention to existing facilities in Ma’had Tahfiẓ Umar Bin Al-Khattab Surabaya. (4) the results of this study can be used as reference material in developing and implementing management of educational institutions, especially in Islamic education institutions that implement the tahfiẓ al-Qur'an program; (5) the need for development research on the comparison of management of Islamic education institutions in the tahfiẓ al-Qur'an program, especially the management of educational institutions in Ma’had Tahfiẓ Umar Bin Al-Khattab Surabaya
The Appropriateness of English Materials Based on Teachers Lesson Plan on Multimedia Students at SMK Antartika 1 Sidoarjo
Get PDFThe aimed of this study was to discover and analyzethe appropriateness of English learning material for the students based on teachers’ lesson plan. This study used qualitative method, the subject and object in this research is the document which is consisted of teaching materials in lesson plan on the first semester of tenth grade that the teacher used for teaching the students multimedia major at SMK Antartika 1 Sidoarjo. The data was collected by analze teachers’ lesson plan and interview. The result of this study showed that most of indicators about the appropriateness of teaching material for English specific purposes were not fulfilled and most of teaching material that teacher used was English for general purposes by follows the syllabus from department education. Hopefully, teachers could create appropriate teacjing materials and develop teaching material which appropriate English specific purposes for the student

Get PDFThis study aims to explain the value of religious character education, character education practices, and barriers that affect UMSIDA character education in SD Muhammadiyah 1 CandiLab School. This research is a descriptive and qualitative research. Survey data sources include the reporter, location (event), and documents. The data collection methods used in this study were (1) observation (2) detailed interviews with teachers of SD Muhammadiyah 1 Candi Lab School UMSIDA (3) data triangulation and validation of data validity using information providers. This analysis uses interactive analysis technology which consists of four parts: data collection, data simplification, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of this study are as follows: (1) Muhammadiyah elementary school teachers have tried to develop a religious personality learning model, but there is still no suitable model to improve student character education. (2) SD Muhammadiyah 1 Candi Lab Religious education in schools is carried out in designing learning activities, learning, extracurricular activities and developing school culture. (3) Barriers to the implementation of religious education in SD Muhammadiyah 1 Candi arise from factors related to students and teachers or schools. Student factors include lack of awareness to participate in activities regularly and on time. In this case the teacher lacks discipline and supervision of student activities aimed at changing students' personalities, as well as the lack of subject teachers and extracurricular teachers who choose the wrong learning method

This research describes things that Kindergarten can do, such as learning activities, collaboration with parents, methods and strategies that use descriptive qualitative research methods. A qualitative approach is a research process to understand social or human problems by analyzing words to create complex and comprehensive, and reporting information obtained from sources in the natural environment. This approach also aims to find, discover, describe, and explain the quality or features of social influence that cannot be explained, measured, or described quantitatively. Based on the research, the strategies applied in schools are: (1) aspects of physical-motor development, especially for fine motor development, in the form of paper for drawing, announcing, matching, cutting, stamping, pasting, collage, maze, forming using playdough whose recipe has been written. teachers for parents, (2) Aspects of cognitive development to develop the ability to think logically, think symbolically, and solve problems. (3) Aspects of religious and moral values, in the form of appeals to parents so that children are accustomed to worship under the guidance of parents, reading Iqro ', memorizing and reciting daily prayers, short letters and Asmaul Husna. (4) Social-emotional aspects, so that children have self-awareness, responsibility to themselves and others, and are accustomed to having pro-social behavior
