Get PDFBefore the pandemic, learning was done face-to-face, which was carried out for a week. Online learning activities are usually carried out to provide material to students and provide online assignments to students. The obstacle experienced by the teacher is that the material presented to students is not good, students are also difficult to understand the material. The Covid-19 pandemic has changed the order of people's lives, not only attacking the country of Indonesia but also hitting the world. The existence of Covid-19 has forced people to stop activities outside the home that should be carried out as on normal days. The public must maintain a safe distance or what is known as physical distancing, a situation in which people are quarantined and isolated in their respective homes, including in carrying out work so that each vulnerable individual will not be infected with the Covid-19 virus. This study uses descriptive qualitative research methods. A qualitative approach is a research process to understand social or human problems by analyzing words to create a complex and comprehensive picture, and reporting detailed views of information obtained from sources of information in a natural environment. The qualitative approach also aims to investigate, discover, describe, and explain the quality or features of social influence that cannot be explained, measured, or described through a quantitative approach

The purpose of this study was to determine the cadre activities of Muhammadiyah students during the Covid-19 pandemic. In the framework of preparing competent cadres as successors to the Muhammadiyah syarikat which was carried out by the Muhammadiyah Student Association (IPM) Tulangan sub-district. Through the Muhammadiyah Student Dai Training (PDPM) during the Covid-19 pandemic, many cadres from villages in the Tulangan sub-district participated in this PDPM. This study uses a qualitative description. The results of the analysis of the PDPM activities carried out by the IPM in Tulangan sub-district were successfully carried out. However, there were shortcomings in this activity, namely: 1) Time efficiency, 2) Participants decreased, 3) It was difficult to contact the participants

The Covid 19 pandemic has an impact on the world of education because this requires the learning process to be carried out online by utilizing technology. This research is a descriptive qualitative research. The data collection techniques in this study consist of the interview method, the observation method and the documentation method. The results of this study are what SMP Muhammadiyah 2 Bangil does, namely by changing the learning process system from face-to-face learning to online, and also at SMP Muhammadiyah 2 Bangil conducting face-to-face learning processes while still complying with health protocols. This distance learning maximizes the role of school principals, waka curriculum, waka student and teachers to interact with students and guardians of students by using applications such as WhatsApp as a medium of learning and communication

Get PDFThe purpose of this study was to find out the innovations of Al Islam and Kemuhammadiyahan learning that were applied at SD Muhammadiyah 5 Porong during the covid-19 pandemic. In the research process this time using data collection techniques with interviews, observations, photos and videos. The results show that there are several innovations applied by educators in the teaching and learning process during the pandemic. The innovations implemented at SD Muhammadiyah 5 Porong are the presentation of learning with multimedia that utilizes the google classroom application, learning media videos and WAG, giving challenges to students and parents with the method of connecting paragraphs or letters, and implementing activity-based learning evaluations by creating independent and adaptable to new situations. The obstacles experienced during the learning process during the COVID-19 pandemic, among others, lack of understanding of ICT for parents and students, internet network problems, difficulties for educators to monitor the overall progress of students and delays in collecting assignments
The Effect of Using an Animation Video in Writing Recount Text at SMK Antartika 1 Sidoarjo
Get PDFThe objectives of this research are to find out whether there is any effect and significant difference achievement of students in writing recount text between before and after being taught by using an animation video and how the students’ respon toward the use of an animation video in teaching writing recount text. The research was conducted at SMK Antartika 1 Sidoarjo. Sample of this study is students in first grade TPM 6 class. The method that is used in this research is quantitative method with pre-experimental design. To get the data, the researcher gave pre-test and post-test to the students. The researcher used an animation video in teaching writing recount text. An essay is given by the researcher to the students to know the effect of the students after used an animation video. Based on the result of the research, there are some research findings that can be represented. First, there is significant difference achievement of students in writing recount text. Second, the students’ understanding give a positive respon toward the use of an animation video. In conclusion, the use of holiday animation video gives a significant difference on the students’ achievement in writing recount text and the students’ respon of the use of an animation video in teaching writing recount text are positive

The technique of collecting data and research is through interviews, and observations. Based on the results of research from SD Muhammadiyah 1 Sidoarjo, online learning only lasted for a short time, then the school held face-to-face learning but it was not as effective as before. The impact that has arisen due to COVID-19 on education has changed the education system and curriculum. The curriculum is made in such a way as not to burden students. Get PDFAttention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) is a medical condition, which is characterized by hyperactivity, inability to focus attention and impulsivity, which is persistent. The location of this research is located at SDN Jimbaran Wetan. The child is male and he is currently seven years old. ADHD children now sit in the first grade of Jimbaran Wetan Elementary School. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of giving positive reinforcement to the decrease in aggressiveness in ADHD children. The variables of this study are positive reinforcement as an independent variable (X) and aggressiveness as a dependent variable (Y). The Positive Reinforcement Method is a method in which the child with ADHD is given a task to control himself and if the task can be done then the child gets a reword that has been agreed upon in advance, such as if the child shows a good attitude on that day then the child gets a toy gift. This study uses a qualitative experimental approach with within-subject research, namely the type of experimental research that examines an individual's behavior, makes observations, and set a baseline, then intervenes. After the intervention, the researcher made another observation to determine the effect of the intervention. Observations were made just before the intervention, during the intervention and after the intervention using the aggressiveness check list. In filling out the check list, researchers involve class teachers to help control and supervise children with ADHD. Class teachers are also involved to fill the aggressiveness check list so they can find out about changes in the daily behavior of ADHD children in the intervention process. From the results of data analysis it was found that there was a decrease in aggressiveness in children with ADHD. This is indicated from the aggressiveness check list which illustrates that the aggressiveness behavior is increasingly decreasing
The Buzz Group Technique For Teaching Reading Comprehension Of Recount Text Of The Eight Grade Students Of Junior High School
Get PDFThe purpose of this study was to solve the problems that existed in grade 8 smpn 2 Buduran namely students' reading comprehension. By using group buzz techniques to improve reading comprehension through recount text. This research uses quantitative methods, through several tests consisting of try outs, pre-tests and post-tests. Some tests are carried out in some time. Before using the group buzz technique students are given a pre-test test. The result of the pre-test was 75. After the pre-test, the use of group buzz technique was applied to the students and then the students worked on the post-test. The result of the post test is 87.42 It can be concluded that the post-test results are greater than the pre-test. This shows that the group buzz technique can improve students' reading ability in recount text material
