TOKOH AYAH DALAM AL-QURAN DAN KETERLIBATANNYA DALAM PEMBINAAN ANAK
The coaching and education who first received by the children, is from their parents. The role of parents both father and mother had the most important position in the formation of the child's personality. An explanation of how the role of a mother in children's nurturing and educating of them, have been a lot of exposed by some literature. An explanation about the role of fathers, especially in the development and education of children has not been revealed. This article will review in depth how the urgency of the father's role in nurturing and educating children on Al Quran, whose the father figure in the al-Quran, and how any involvement of fathers according to the Qur'an
MEMAHAMI KESETARAAN GENDER DALAM FIQH: Analisis Teori Evolusi Kontinuitas Fiqh
Gender equality in Islam has orientation on righteous that is part of liberal thought meanwhile there is an opposition from some Muslim that the concept of gender equality is unacceptable one. The presence of Islam which was brought by Muhammad the messenger was to elevate woman position in society. While observing some fiqh books, it is found that the books have masculine nuance and have more alignments on man side. In particular, it is not found any chapters that discuss about woman. That is an interesting commentary on gender bias in fiqh discourse. In order to avoid an historical dichotomy that leads suspicion on fiqh that deals with gender bias, this article tries to discuss how to understand gender equality according to Islamic law (Analysis of Fiqh Continuity Evolution Theory)

PERLAWANAN PEREMPUAN DI PENGUNGSIAN (Studi Keberadaan Perempuan di Pengungsian Gunung Sinabung, Kabupaten Karo, Sumatera Utara)
Women are one of the groups of people who are prone to disasterrisks. It can be seen from the situation and conditions in refugeescamp, the number of women more than the men's group. In addition,women are also experiencing problemsat the evacuation campscomplex than men, it is influenced by the condition of biological,psychological and economical faced by women.The problems facedbywomen in fact have arisingresistance among women during theevacuation, due to frequent problem among women is untouched bythe government policy. This study seeks to reveal and analyze theproblem among refugee women caused by the eruption of MountSinabung in North Sumatere. Apparently, the results showed that therewas some resistance made by women during the evacuation,amongthemis resistance to meet the needs of the issues of womanhood, suchas to get a special needs women, resistance to releasefrustration,economics. This resistance arises as a result rather than theaccommodation is not women's issues in handling disasters, and oftenforgotten problems faced by these women. KESEHATAN REPRODUKSI PADA ETNIS MINANGKABAU
In this paper, the author looks at various cultural issues on health reproduction in relation to Minangkabau cultural perspective in the province of West Sumatra. Minangkabau is one of the ethnics which adopt matrilineal system. That is why then this paper wants to highlight the cultural issue that is related to the problem of health reproduction that is commonly found in social context of Minangkabau society. At least this short article discusses the issue of health reproduction and and local wisdom, especially women’s problems of health reproduction. The number of internet users fewer females than males, internet brings many benefits for women. Internet helps reconstruct people's views about gender. High encourage women to have equal footing with men; facilitate women to engage in activities in the context of the public sphere, has space for mengaktualisaikan themselves, as well as an opportunity to live more independently. On the other hand, the Internet also raises new problems for women. Internet often becomes a medium for the occurrence of crime and violence against women. Such forms of violence in the form of a message containing the anger and hatred, harassment, threats, fraud, use of false identities, or stalking. From the description, it is necessary encouragement and support for women in order to use the Internet in a healthy and productive. PELABELAN ETNIS MINANGKABAU PADA WANITA PELAKU PENYIMPANGAN SOSIAL DI KOTA PADANG
The article describes the forms of labels provided by the public in the city of Padang as part of Minangkabau culture, particularly aimed at women who pass social deviation in behavior related to the community. Labeling Minangkabau society has a sociological and anthropological meaning, which is actually aimed at social control or awareness deviant actors, namely the Minangkabau woman who occupies an important position in a matrilineal society. REFLEKSI GENDER DALAM PEMBELAJARAN KURIKULUM 2013; STUDI TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR IPS SISWA KELAS MODEL DI SOLOK, SUMATERA BARAT
This article tries to reveal that learning process of 2013 curriculum give Junior High School Students a good perception on concept of space and time connectivity, and social activity which has gender phenomena. Thus gender perception can be observed by learning output of social science in cognitive domain on students in model class at Junior High School 1 of Gunung Talang. The research says that learning output shows female students’ cognitive competence dominate male students’. This statement also proves that common stereotype that is usually labeled to male students is also socially labeled toward female students. PEREMPUAN BERGERAK Surat Kabar Soenting Melajoe 1912-1921
Soenting Melajoe is the first womens newspaper published in the Minangkabau and the mission is to improve the quality and degree of women. Newspaper which was published in 1912 is a reflection of the social movement in the Minangkabau women fighting for and achieving their rights without going out of their natures as the “keeper” in his household. Despite the challenge is great enough of Minangkabau society, “Bundo Kanduang” is not decreased in bringing about social change in Minangkabau until the end of its publication in 1921.
