URGENSI KELOMPOK SADAR HUKUM BAGI WANITA SINGLE PARENT; PENGALAMAN PENGABDIAN MASYARAKAT DI PESISIR SELATAN SUMATERA BARAT
The establishing of a group that has good awareness on law for single parent women in Batu Hampa, aims at facilitating knowledge and understanding on marriage problem and resolution from law perspective, both on divorce legalization and right-obligation as a single parent. An illegal divorce will take effect of her personal and social life such as citizen status or for a remarried action. The single parent women were provided with a law counseling in order to prepare them as a personal that has law awareness. They were given a partner community before the counseling. Partner group supported them to establish the group which has good law awareness. In case of a family which is about to have divorce, the groups will show their care and is hoped to give the better solution. They should be able to elaborate the knowledge and are able to help the others who have the same problem. PENYELESAIAN DAN PENANGGULANGAN KORBAN KEKERASAN DALAM RUMAH TANGGA MELALUI LEMBAGA ADAT NAGARI DI SUMATERA BARAT
The high rate of domestic violence is influenced by the lack of institutions in completing and anticipating it, besides the tendency of indigenious culture which consider it as a common problem. Nevertheless, in West Sumatra, the strengthening of local institutions has been one of the assets that can prevent the occurrence of these domestic violences. This study found that the existence of economic institutions, the strengthening of women’s institutions and women's economic empowerment in the village can reduce the occurrence of such violence. Affirmative action in gender mainstreaming at politic party, is marked with the existence of quota 30% women role in nomination quota of legislative member inviting pro and contra. There are two perspectives in looking at this gender. First, positivistic perspective (or objective) which sees that women have to be given opportunity in political space, its importance if women to have make of policy. Proper women isn’t it well-balance position with men in legislative because amount residents of more women compared to men. Second the naturalistic perspective (or subjective). Which my tries to express that women have their own responsible and their readiness of women to enter political world. The relation between masculinity and femininity in the jungle family has a vital position. In inheritance case, a divorce, either life or death, causes several rights that belong to women such as child custody, property split (community or separate property. This nature resource inheritance status covers an ownership, utilization, and distribution for example in agricultural or hunted resource. However, social changes affect female (batino) role in a domestic field. She takes care not only for women responsibilities such as child care, household task, cooking and serving the husband, but also takes care of men’s responsibilities such as providing water from the river, collecting wood, farming and other activities that men should do. AKTIVITAS DOMESTIK DAN PUBLIK PEREMPUAN KERJA (STUDI TERHADAP PEREMPUAN PEDAGANG KELONTONG DI PEKAPURAN RAYA BANJARMASIN)
This article describes the role of women in domestic and public sphere. Multi-role women are able to maintain harmonious relations in their extended and core families. The main reason women have trading activities because of economic pressures. They feel they have a responsibility for their family livelihood sustainability. The interesting thing is they aware that their contributions to supplement their family income does not necessarily revoke roles as wife and mother in their family.Thus the women's role to implement various strategies in order to run smoothly, both in domestic and public aspects. This article would like to elucidate the history and the difference betwen the movement of feminism in west and Islam and the status of woman in Islam. According to western perspective feminism is a history of struggles for women’s rights and freedoms and emphasizes that religion is one of the chief enemies of its progress. Unfortunately, many of the goals of western feminism are not necessarily relevant across cultural boundaries. On other hand, Islam gives a special rights, freedoms and place to women. The policies of a school tend to be no gender value and no a wise affirmation applied to the broadening of women's access to continuing education to a higher level or go on to university. Bencana alam maupun bencana yang disebabkan tangan manusia tidak pernah dapat diprediksi kapan terjadinya. Sedangkan akibatnya cenderung bersifat merusak dan memakan banyak korban. Kelompok yang sangat rentan terhadap dampak bencana adalah perempuan dan anak-anak. Karena itu bencana harus diantisipasi secara dini untuk mencegah jatuhnya banyak korban. Salah satu upaya adalah menyiapkan kondisi sosio-psikologis masyarakat dalam menghadapi bencana dengan kecerdasan dan keterampilan penyelamatan awal menghadapi bencana. Minimnya pengetahuan dasar mengakibatkan banyaknya perempuan terlambat bahkan gagal melakukan penyelamatan diri maupun keluarganya. Untuk itu perempuan harus melek terhadap mitigasi bencana. Dalam hal ini diperlukan manajemen bencana bermuatan gender. KEKUATAN LAKI-LAKI “DI BAWAH KETIAK PEREMPUAN”: MEMBANGUN PERSPEKTIF GENDER DI SUMATERA BARAT
The Minangs are the world's largest matrilineal society; properties such as land and houses are inherited through female lineage. Some scholars argue that this might have caused the diaspora (Minangkabau, "merantau") of Minangkabau males throughout the Maritime. The native Minangkabaus agreed that this matrilineal culture is indeed the result of (not the reason for) diaspora. Theoriticaly male have a lot of power. They had responsible to protect their fanily wealth as one example. But unfortunoutly, their possition in“underarm of women”. All kinds of dicission should be get confirm from the women (“so-called”: Bundo Kandung). It means that we should re-thinking about gender perspective in Minangkabau community, because female dominate the power. Political parties have a strategic role in increasing women's representation in the legislature.
