Analisis Faktor-faktor yang Memengaruhi Harga Beras di Indonesia pada Januari – November 2024
Rice prices play a crucial role in Indonesia’s economic stability and public welfare, as rice remains the country’s primary staple food commodity. Price fluctuations are influenced by various internal factors, such as production and stock levels, as well as external factors like exchange rates and import volume. This study aims to analyze the factors affecting rice prices in Indonesia during the period of January to November 2024. The data used are monthly time-series secondary data obtained from the Badan Pangan Nasional, Badan Pusat Statistik, and Bank Indonesia. The analytical method used is multiple linear regression with six independent variables: production volume, demand, import volume, exchange rate, 2023 rice price, and national rice stock, and one dependent variable, the 2024 rice price. The results show that all independent variables simultaneously have a significant effect on rice prices, with an F-value of 9.042 and a significance level of 0.026 (<0.05). Partially, production volume and national rice stock have a significant influence on rice prices, while other variables show no significant effect. The adjusted R² value of 0.842 indicates that 84.2% of the variation in rice prices is explained by the model, with the remainder influenced by external factors. These findings confirm that domestic factors, particularly production and national rice stock, are the main determinants of rice price stability in Indonesia

Model Analisis Niat Menggunakan Pestisida Nabati oleh Petani Cabai di Kabupaten Garut
Garut is a chili commodity in West Java. However, in recent years, the production of chili in the district has decreased. Chili production in Garut District around 159 thousand tons, or decreased around 13% of production compared to the previous year (BPS, 2025). One of the causes is pest and disease organism (PDO). Recently farmers still rely on chemical pesticides, while have negative impacts on health, ecosystems, environment, and increase PDO resistance. Also, chemical pesticides stated are not in line with the principles of sustainability. The government and penyuluh have also encouraged farmers to adopt integrated pest management (IPM) practices, such as biochemical pesticides, through various policies, extension services, training, and assistance. However, these efforts have not effectively encouraged farmers to adopt biochemical pesticides. Therefore, this study aims to determine and analyze farmer behavior based on the Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB) approach to determine the relationship between attitude, subjective norm, and perceived behavioral control on farmers' intention to use biochemical pesticides. This study used a quantitative verification method, while the data used were primary data from 100 chili farmer respondents in Cikajang District as a representative center chili production in Garut Regency. Data are collected using a stratified random sampling method. The results showed a positive and significant relationship between attitude, subjective norm, and perceived behavioral control on the intention to use biochemical pesticides. The findings of this study indicate the need for interventions that can encourage attitude, subjective norms, and perceived behavioral control to increase the use of plant-based pesticides
Analisis Modal Usaha dalam Mendukung Kinerja Usaha pada Bara Hidroponik
Business performance reflects the extent to which a company achieves its objectives. However, in practice, many business actors face various challenges that hinder performance achievement, including Bara Hidroponik. The purpose of this study is to analyze the role of financial, social, and human capital in supporting the performance of hydroponic businesses both in financial and non-financial aspects. This study employs a qualitative approach using a case study design at Bara Hidroponik, with data collected through in depth interviews involving the business owner, operational staff, partners, and consumers, as well as direct observation of operational activities. The findings show that financial capital plays a greater role in financial performance due to the capital structure being dominated by personal funds, which limits expansion. Social capital contributes more to non-financial performance as a wide business network provides access to information and collaboration opportunities. Human capital also plays a more significant role in financial and non-financial performance due to high employee competence, which drives responsive service. Future research is recommended to use a quantitative approach in order to gain a more thorough and comprehensive understanding

Dampak Kebijakan Persusuan di Indonesia Terhadap Kesejahteraan Stakeholder
Indonesia’s dairy industry has undergone substantial development over the past decade, yet it continues to face persistent challenges arising from market liberalization and intensifying global competition. The BUSEP ratio policy, introduced in 1982, was designed to protect smallholder dairy farmers by mandating the absorption of domestically produced fresh milk by processing industries. This study aims to systematically examine the impacts of this policy on the welfare of key stakeholders: government, producers, and consumers, while also identifying the resulting economic and social implications. The research employs a systematic literature review combined with static comparative analysis using secondary data. Comparisons are drawn between conditions before and after the abolition of the BUSEP ratio policy, with specific attention to changes in producer surplus and consumer surplus. In addition, the study assesses the influence of a 5% import tariff on domestic milk pricing structures and supply conditions. The findings reveal that while the BUSEP ratio policy increased producer surplus, it significantly reduced consumer surplus, ultimately leading to a decline in net social welfare. The policy’s revocation in 1998 did not yield the anticipated benefits, as import prices surged sharply during the monetary crisis, preventing processors from optimizing alternative supply sources. Heightened competition with international producers further underscores the need for domestic farmers to enhance efficiency and competitiveness. Overall, the study indicates that existing policies have not optimally improved welfare outcomes. Consequently, there is a pressing need for more adaptive policy frameworks that prioritize production efficiency, price stability, and sustained protection for Indonesia’s dairy farmers
