TRANSFORMASI FOLKLOR LISAN NINI ANTEH KE NOVEL DONGENG NINI ANTEH KARYA A.S. KESUMA
Abstrak Transformasi Folklor Lisan Nini Anteh ke Novel Dongeng Nini Anteh Karya A.S. Kesuma. Cerita Nini Anteh merupakan folklor lisan masyarakat Sunda. Folklor lisan dan novel cerita Nini Anteh ini dijadian sumber data penelitian dalam penelitian ini. Teori yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu teori tentang transformasi yang dikemukakan oleh Riffaterre. Berdasarkan hasil penelusuran struktur kedua karya tersebut ditemukan adanya ekspansi, konversi, modifikasi pada tataran alur dan pengaluran, karakter, dan latar. Dalam kedua karya terdapat irisan berupa penggambaran Nini Anteh yang pekerjaanya berkaitan dengan produksi tekstil, tidak dapat mengandung dan melahirkan anak. Pergi kebulan karena suatu hal, dan ditemani Candramawat (kucing yang memiliki tiga warna bulu: putih, kuning, dan hitam). Irisan terjadi karena ada hal-hal yang ingin dipertahankan oleh penulis novel. Yaitu bahwa masyarakat Sunda yang memiliki religiusitas “ibu” memandang sosok Nini Anteh sebagai sosok yang tidak bisa “memberi” kehidupan. Oleh sebab itu, Nini Anteh ditempatkan di bulan, tepat terpisah dari masyarakat bumi. The paper is entitled “The Transformation from Oral Folklore of Nini Anteh to the Novel of Nini Anteh Tale by A.S Kesuma “. The data in this study are in the form of an oral folklore and a novel. The theory used in this research is the transformation theory proposed by Riffaterre. Based on the results of exploration of the structure of the two works, it was found that there are some expansions, conversions, modifications at the level of plot and plotting, character, and background. In both works, there are intersections between them in the form of the depictions of Nini Anteh whose work related to the production of textiles, who was unable to conceive and bear childern, who went to the moon for a reason, and was accompained by Candramawat (a three-colored fur cat: white, yellow, and black). The intersections occur because there are things to be maintained by the novelist: that the Sundanesse people who have religiosity of “mother” figure view Nini Anteh as someone who cannot “provide” life. THE SECONDARY SCHOOL ENGLISH LANGUAGE READING CURRICULUM: A TEACHER’S PERCEPTIONS
Abstrak Kurikulum Membaca Pembelajaran Bahasa Inggris di Skolah Menengah: Sebuah Persepsi Guru. Permasalahan yang di hadapi dalam pembelajaran membaca pemahaman tidak hanya terjadi secara khusus pada siswa di Malaysia. Secara faktual banyak siswa di dunia yang mengalami kesulitan dalam memahami bacaan. Secara faktual, terdapat beberapa siswa yang memelukan strategi pembelajaran khusus yang konkret untuk membantu memahami bacaan. Pemikiran awal yang hendak di kedepankan dalam tulisan ini adalah dengan mendefinisikan kegiatan membaca, kemudian diikuti dengan sebuah kajian mendalam berkait dengan pembelajaran bahasa komunikatif (CLT) yang diadaptasi dari bentuk 5 kurikulum membaca bahasa Inggris di Malaysia. Bagi penulis, pembaca, dan teks, membaca merupakan bentuk aktual dari sebuah proses komunikasi yang menempatkan pembaca memahami aturan-aturan secara aktif dalam sebuah proses membaca. Asumsi dasar dalam penelitian ini adalah pentingnya guru menerapkan aturan-aturan yang didasari pada tujuan belajar dalam meningkatkan kemampuan siswa membaca pemahaman. Hal ini merefleksi pentingnya kurikulum membaca yang akan diimplementasikan guru dalam pembelajaran membaca sebagai pijakan penyususnan ancangan kurikulum. Hal ini yang diharapkan kajian ini dapat memberikan manfaat termasuk dalam pengembangan kurikulum dan penyiapan ujian hanya untuk guru Malaysia tetapi juga di dunia sekitar.Kata kunci: kurikulum membaca bahasa Inggris, kemampuan membaca pemahaman AbstractThe Secondary School English Language Reading Curriculum: A teacher’s Perceptions. The problem of reading comprehension is not unique to only Malaysian graduates. In fact many students experience comprehension difficulties. This, some sudents need explicit comprehension strategy instruction. A rational starting point for this discussion is by defining what reading is. It is then followed by a brief review on Communicative Language Teaching (CLT) which is adopted in the Malaysian Form 5 English Language Reading Curriculum. Involving the writer, the reader and the text, reading is actually a communication process where a reader is seen to perform an active role in a reading process. Based on the many previous researches, it is obvious that the teacher’s role in aiding students’ reading comprehension skills is vital. This also reflects the importance of the reading curriculum, as teachers will impkement their reading instruction based on the outlined curriculum. It is hoped that this study may benefit those involved in the curriulum development and examination syndicate, to enhance the teaching and learning processes of reading in the second language, not only among teachers in Malaysia but also world-wide.Keywords: English language Reading Curriculum, reading comprehension skil
SPIRITUALISASI PENDIDIKAN DALAM KARYA SASTRA: SUATU PERSPEKTIF SASTRA BANDINGAN
Abstrak Spiritualisasi Pendidikan dalam Karya Sastra: Suatu Perspektif Sastra Bandingan. Spiritualisasi pendidikan merupakan konsep dalam dunia pendidikan yang memadukan antara pendidikan dan unsur spiritual. Nilai-nilai spiritual dalam pendidikan ini dapat ditemukan dalam dua karya sastra berbentuk novel, yakni Laskar Pelangi karya Andrea Hirata dan novel Negeri 5 Menara karya Ahmad Fuadi, yang akan di analisis melalui perspektif sastra bandingan. Di dalam tulisan ini akan dideskripsikan nilai-nilai spiritual yang dijadikan basis dalam mencetak generasi unggul dalam dunia pendidikan yang terefleksi dalam kedua novel sehingga mampu menghasilkan lulusan yang mampu bersaing dalam dunia global. Konsep-konsep spiritualisasi pendidikan dalam kedua novel ini akan dilihat dari dua sisi sekaligus yakni pendidik dan juga peserta didik. Spiritualization of education is a concept in the field of education that combines education and spiritual elements. Spiritual values in education can be found in two literary works in the forms of novels, such as the Laskar Pelangi novel by Andrea Hirata and Negeri 5 Menara by Ahmad Fuadi, which will be analyzed through the perspective of comparative literature. This paper will describe the spiritual values that form the basis for the creation of leading generation in the world of education as reflected in both novels so as to produce graduates who can compete in the global world. Concepts of spiritualization of education in both of these novels will be seen from two sides at once, that is, educators and learners. MEMBACA RESISTENSI TERHADAP KOLONIALISME DALAM CERPEN “SAMIN KEMBAR” KARYA TRIYANTO TRIWIKROMO
Abstract This article aims to describe the form of post-colonial resistance from the standpoint of mimicry, hybridity, ambivalence, diaspora, identity is represented on the short story works Triyanto Triwikromo Samin Twins. Samin cePen Twins lift setting colonialism in the area of Sawahlunto, Blora, Grobogan, and Bojonegoro in 1897an. This short story tells the story of Resident Assistant Blora who tried to interrogate the leader who claimed to be Samin. Instead of trying to interrogate, Assistant Resident've got a resistance of interlocutor. Assistant Resident menamkan colonial process in Blora and surrounding communities. The story contains the story of the history of the Dutch colonial times so that the right to be assessed by post-colonial theory. Operationalization of post-colonial theory in the study of literary texts illustrated by efforts to study literary text data that relates to consciousness colonized on the colonizers. Step study conducted dengana, determination of data sources, collection and classification of data, and data analysis. FUNGSI SASTRA LISAN “TANDUK” MASYARAKAT GENAHARJO KABUPATEN TUBAN BAGI MASYARAKAT PENDUKUNGNYA
Abstract This study aims to investigate the function of “tanduk” oral literature for its society. In this case, the people in question are society Genaharjo of Tuban district. Through the use of the theory of functions Alan Dundes and William R. Bascom, it is understood that the “tanduk” has a function of oral literature that focuses as the teaching and interdependence among societies that emphasize the benefits of practicality. “Tanduk” oral literature function is the function of propaganda, the function of social solidarity and an antidote to individualism, and the function of education in the socialization of values. PENGARUH KEMAMPUAN KOSAKATA DAN STRUKTUR KALIMAT TERHADAP KEMAMPUAN MENULIS PARAGRAF DESKRIPSI SISWA SMA
Abstract The research aims to determine: (1) the ability to use vocabulary and sentence structure class X SMA Negeri 2 Bantaeng District Bantaeng, (2) the ability to write a paragrafh description Bantaeng, and (3) the effect of the ability to use vocabulary and sentence structure to the ability to write a paragrafh description class X SMA Negeri 2 Bantaeng District Bantaeng. The research data such as the results of tests of vocabulary and sentence structure in the form of written tests of vocabulary and sentence structure of each of 50 numbers and descriptions essay writing test. The data source is a class XI student of SMAN 2 Bantaeng District Bantaeng. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis. The results showed that (1) the ability to use the vocabulary class X SMA Negeri 2 Bantaeng District Bantaeng and average value is 38.27, while the ability to use sentence structure average rating: 37.86. (2) The ability to write essays description of the class X SMA Negeri 2 Bantaeng District Bantaeng average value is 38.92 and (3) no effect between the ability to use vocabulary and sentence structure to the ability to write a paragrafh description of the class X SMA Negeri 2 Bantaeng District Bantaeng. Keywords: vocabulary ability, sentence structure, and the ability to write a paragraph description AbstrakPenelitian bertujuan untuk: (1) Mengkaji kemampuan menggunakan kosakata dan struktur kalimat siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 2 Bantaeng Kabupaten Bantaeng, (2) Mengetahui kemampuan menulis paragraf deskripsi Bantaeng, dan (3) mengetahui pengaruh kemampuan menggunakan kosakata dan struktur kalimat terhadap kemampuan menulis paragraf deskripsi siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 2 Bantaeng Kabupaten Bantaeng. Data penelitian berupa hasil tes kosakata dan struktur kalimat dalam bentuk tes menulis kosakata dan struktur kalimat masing-masing sebanyak 50 nomor dan tes menulis karangan deskripsi. Sumber data penelitian ini yaitu siswa kelas X.I SMA Negeri 2 Bantaeng Kabupaten Bantaeng. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan menggunakan analisis regresi linear berganda. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa (1) Kemampuan menggunakan kosakata siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 2 Bantaeng Kabupaten Bantaeng dan nilai rata-ratanya yaitu 38,27, sedangkan kemampuan menggunakan struktur kalimat nilai rata-ratanya:37,86. (2) Kemampuan menulis karangan deksripsi siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 2 Bantaeng Kabupaten Bantaeng nilai rata-ratanya yaitu 38,92 dan (3) terdapat pengaruh antara kemampuan menggunakan kosakata dan struktur kalimat terhadap kemampuan menulis paragraf deskripsi siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 2 Bantaeng Kabupaten Bantaeng.Kata kunci : kemampuan kosakata, struktur kalimat, dan kemampuan menulis paragraf deskrips
ADVERBIA STATIF DALAM BAHASA SUNDA: KAJIAN STRUKTUR DAN SEMANTIK
Abstrak Adverbia Statif dalam Bahasa Sunda: Kajian Struktur dan Semantik. Kajian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan adverbia statif dalam bahasa Sunda yang dikaji dari segi struktur dan semantik. Deskripsinya mencakup batasan dan karakteristik, fungsi, keterikatan, jumlah unsur, distribusi, makna, dan bentuknya. Dalam kajian ini digunakan metode deskriptif. Sumber data kajian ini berupa ragam bahasa Sunda lisan dan tulis. Untuk mengumpulkan data digunakan teknik teks, instuisi atau intropeksi, dan teknik elisitasi. Untuk mengolah data digunakan metode distribusional dengan analisis unsur langsung sebagai teknik dasar, yang diikuti teknik permutasi, subsitusi, ekspansi, dan teknik interupsi sebagai teknik lanjutan. Kajian ini menyimpulkan bahwa (a) adverbia statif merupakan adverbia yang secara khusus dan kolokatif menerangkan adjektiva; (b) adverbia statif berfungsi sebagai pewatas belakang adjektiva; (c) adverbia statif dengan adjektiva memiliki keterikatan yang sangat erat dan berkolokatif; (d) jumlah unsur adverbia statif dan adjektiva bersifat saling melengkapi; (e) posisi adverbia statif selalu di belakang adjektiva; (f) adverbia statif memiliki makna inhern ‘sifat kesangatan (kualitas elatif )’ yang dapat di dahului kata mani ‘sangat’; dan (g) adverbia statif pada umumnya berbentuk kata tunggal (71,42%).Kata kunci: adverbia statif, adjektiva, struktur, semantik, pewatas Abstract The Study of Structure and Semantics of Stative Adverbs in Sundanese Language. This study aims to describe stative adverbs in Sundanese language studied in terms of structure and semantics. Descriptions include definition and characteristic, function, relationship, number of elements, distribution, meaning, and form. This study used a descriptive method. Data source for this study were in the forms of spoken and written language varieties. Tecniques used to collect data are text, intuition or introspection, and elicitation tecniques. To process the data, the study used distributional methods with direct factorial analysis as the basic tecnique, followed by permutation, substitution, expansion, and technical interruptions tecnique, follow-up techniques. The study concludes that (a) stative adverbs are adverb that explain adjectives speciically and collocatively; (b) stative adverbs serves as adjective limiters; (c) stative adverbs with adjectives are bound very tightly and collocated; (d) the number of elements stative adverbs and adjectives are complementary; (e) the position of stative adverbs ia always in the back of the adjectives; (f) stative adverbs have an inherent meaning of ‘excessive nature (elative quality) ‘which may be preceded by the word mani ‘very’, and (g) stative adverbs are generally inthe form of a single word (71,42%)Keywords: stative adverbs, adjective, structure, semantics, limite

AbstractThe objectives of research are identified the Indonesia culture identity constructed in primary schools textbooks with curriculum 2013. The Indonesia culture identity was very important while considering social conflict today very apraid and doing in every social life dimention. The conflict was become between scholar social community also unscholar social community with be at the bottom of variation. The study used text content analysis through words and sentence as based analysis. The analysis of data are discourse of textbooks grade one primary schools amounted four theme. The research finding that textbooks represented Indonesia culture identity in all activity and the action has doing by the stories actor which are cheave to each action as well setting as planning of writer textbooks. The language used as Indonesia identity representation described in words and sentence or discourse as well depicted identity. The Indoensia culture identity has description e.g. religious identity, humanism, socialism, sportive, toleration, works in together, discipline, optimist, and rational. DRAMA “MALAM JAHANAM” KARYA MOTINGGO BUSYE: SEBUAH TELAAH PSIKOLOGIS
Abstract This article summarizes the results of research that seeks to dismantle the psychological side of the main characters in the drama Hell Night work is Motinggo Busye.Melalui study analysis shows that the main character of this drama named Soleman have a picture of physical and non-physical round. Factors that influence personality Soleman are internal and external factors. Internal factors such as congenital inherited from his father. External factors such as the bitter life experiences Apart from families poor moral, environmental conditions also provide opportunities for Soleman for having an affair with the wife of the lain.Secara indirectly, Soleman personality in the drama that reinforces the opinion of the middle of two opposite schools of psychology (nativism and empiricism), that a person's personality is basically influenced by two factors simultaneously, which is a factor in (hereditary) and external (environmental). ANALISIS KONTRASTIF KOTOWARI HYOUGEN ANTARA PEMBELAJAR BAHASA JEPANG DAN PENUTUR ASLI
Abstrak Analisis Kontrastif Kotowari Hyougen antara Pembelajar Bahasa Jepang dan Penutur Asli. Di antara beberapa aktifitas berbahasa, tindakan menolak sering dianggap sebagai tindakan yang cukup sulit karena memberikan perasaan tidak menyenangkan terhadap lawan tutur. Tindak tutur menolak tidak terlepas dari latar belakang tindak tutur berbahasa oleh pengguna bahasa tersebut. Pembelajar yang berbahasa ibu bahasa Sunda memiliki kemiripan dengan penutur asli dalam membuat tindak tutur penolakan dikarenakan adanya kedekatan aturan undak usuk bahasa sunda dengan tainguu hyougen dalam bahasa Jepang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui ungkapan penolakan yang digunakan oleh pembelajar bahasa Jepang kemudian melalui perbandingan dengan penutur asli diketahui persamaan dan perbedaanya serta permasalahan dalam ungkapan penolakan oleh pembelajar. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Discourse Completion Test (DCT). Hasil analisis data menunjukan terdapat persamaan diantara pembelajar dan penutur asli dalam pengguna {wabi} terhadap dosen akrab (penggunanya lebih rendah). Sebagai permasalahan dalam ungkapan penolakan yakni pembelajar menggunakan {fuka} dalam bentuk futsuu no hiteikei, dan {koshou} dalam frekuensi yang cukup tinggi. Sebaliknya, penutur asli menggunakan fukanoukei, dikarenakan apabila menggunakan futsuu no hiteikei akan diterima sebagai arti penolakan yang kuat/keras.Kata kunci: Kotowari hyougen, DCT, Taiguu hyougen, penutur asli, konstraktif Abstract Contrastive Analysis of Kotowari Hyougen between Learners of Japanese Language and Japanese Native Speakers. Among several speaking activities, action of refusal is often considered a difficult act as it gives an unpleasant feeling againts interlocutors. Refusal speech act cannot be separated from the background of the speech act by the user of the language. Learners whose mother tongue is Sundanese language has similarities with Japanese native speakers in making the speech act of refusal due to the proximity of the undak usuk in Sundanese with tainguu hyougen in Japanese. This study aims to determine the expressions of refusal used by Japanese learners then, through comparison with native speakers, to determine the similarities, differences and problems in the expression of rejection by the learners. The instrument used in this study is Discourse Completion Test (DCT). Form the analysis of the data it was found that there were similarities between learners and native speakers that {riyuu/iiwake}, {wabi}, {fuka} were used as the main semantic formula. There are similarities between learners whose mother tongue is Sundanese and native speakers in using language {wabi} to professors considered familiar (lower usage). The problem of expressions of refusal used by learners {fuka} in the form Futsuu fuka no hiteikei and {koshou} was in a fairly high frequency. In contrast, native speakers use fukanoukei, because using Futsuu no hiteikei will be considered as a strong/hard sense of refusal.Keywords: Kotowari hyougen, DCT, Tainguu hyouge
