The Leadership Role of Pratama Officials in Facing the Salatiga Government's Bureaucracy Simplification Policy
The implementation of government bureaucratic services in various sectors is the external face of the performance of the government in power, it can reflect how leadership practices are implemented. This study was conducted with the aim of uncovering the processes, obstacles, and problems encountered in the implementation of bureaucratic simplification in Salatiga City Government and the role of high-ranking officials in each regional apparatus in its implementation. This research is a qualitative research using phenomenological study. The data used are primary and secondary data. Primary data was collected through interviews with twelve participants consisting of heads of work units (high-ranking officials) and functional officials resulting from the simplification of the bureaucracy in the relevant work units in Salatiga city government, while secondary data was collected through observation, and documentation on Salatiga city government documents during a certain period. The data analysis technique used was Interpretative Phenomenological Analysis (IPA). Based on the analysis, it is found that bureaucratic simplification still faces many obstacles, especially in the adaptation and technological knowledge of officials. In addition, the simplification of bureaucracy in Salatiga city government raises concerns about career paths coupled with a decrease in employee performance, the head of the field or leader in Salatiga city government plays an important role in dealing with bureaucratic simplification policies to maintain a conducive atmosphere in the organisation and encourage increased employee competence, but the competency improvement program has not been implemented optimally
The Influence Of Kaizen Culture On Employee Performance
This study aims to determine how the influence of kaizen culture on employee performance at PT. Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk. Branch Kartini Makassar City. This study uses quantitative research methods. Data collection techniques used are through observation and questionnaires. The sample used in this study is the entire population, namely 35 respondents. The data obtained from the research results were processed using the SPSS 25 application which consists of validity and reliability tests, descriptive data analysis techniques and inferential statistical analysis. The results obtained indicate that the indicators for each variable used, where the kaizen culture variable shows that the indicators used in this study are in the very good category and the indicators on the employee performance variable show the very good category. Based on the results of inferential statistical analysis, Pearson correlation was obtained of 0.722, which means that there is a strong/high relationship between the two variables. So it can be concluded that there is a significant influence between kaizen culture on employee performance at PT. Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk. Branch Kartini Makassar City
Influence Leadership, Competence and Motivation To Performance Employee Service Health Regency Bay Bintuni West Papua Province
This study aims: (1) to determine the effect of leadership on the performance of the employees of the Teluk Bintuni Regency Health Office, West Papua, (2) to determine the effect of competence on the performance of the employees of the Teluk Bintuni Regency Health Office, West Papua, and (3) to determine the effect of motivation on the performance of the employees of the Teluk Bintuni Regency Health Office, West Papua, and (4) to determine the effect of leadership, competence and motivation on the performance of the employees of the Teluk Bintuni Regency Health Office, West Papua. The variables of this research are leadership as the first independent variable, competence as the second independent variable, motivation as the third independent variable and employee performance as the dependent variable. The population of this study were all civil servants of the Teluk Bintuni Regency Health Office, amounting to 68 people, while the sample of this study was taken with a saturated sample technique so that the sample used was as much as the existing population. Data was collected by using a questionnaire/questionnaire and documentation. Data analysis was performed by descriptive statistical analysis, classical assumption test, instrument test, and hypothesis testing. The results of this study indicate that leadership has a significant effect on employee performance with a significant level <0.05 and competence has a significant effect on employee performance with a significant level <0.05 and motivation has a significant effect on employee performance with a significant level < 0.05. Leadership, competence and work motivation simultaneously have a significant effect on employee performance with a significant level <0.05. In addition, the coefficient of determination (R2) is 0.532 (53.2%). This means that the influence of leadership, competence and motivation on employee performance is 53.2% while the remaining 46.8% is influenced by other factors not examined
The Implementation of the Family Hope Program in Alleviating Poverty in Lamurukung Village Tellusiatinge District Bone Regency
Poverty is one of the biggest problems faced by the Indonesian people today. One of the steps taken by the government to deal with poverty is to implement the Family Hope Program is right on target for the poor. This study aims to determine the application of the Family Hope Program in alleviating poverty in Lamurukung Village, Tesllu Siattingnge District, Bone Regency. The method of the research is descriptive with a qualitative approach. The data research was collected through structured interview techniques. And the data analysis technique uses data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of this study indicate that the implementation of the Family Hope Program has been running well and effectively when viewed from the four indicators of policy implementation, namely communication, resources, bureaucratic structure, and disposition, but that does not mean there are no shortcomings in implementing this program. The drawback in implementing this program is that it does not include a component of activities regarding business skills because this program only focuses on two components namely education and health
Library Office Innovation of the Makassar City: Influence on Increasing Public Reading Interest
This study was directed to determine the effect of Makassar City Library Office innovation on increasing reading interest. This is done on the basis of the fact that according to the UNESCO report reading interest in Indonesia has a low level of presentation, it is not comparable to the innovation efforts that have been carried out by institutions that have responsibility for increasing public reading interest. When people's reading interest is low, it will have an impact on the low quality of national education. The research respondents consisted of 46 people. The data obtained from the results of the questionnaire were strengthened by secondary data. The research findings show that the influence of Library Office of the Makassar Cityinnovation on increasing public reading interest is only 4.9%, with a calculated F value of 3,448 which is greater than F table 3.21. The probability value is 0.041. The Library Office of the Makassar Cityneeds to increase innovation in the use of technology in order to increase people's reading interest
Market Opportunity Analysis of Fermentative Floating Feed Products Non-Extrusion of High Protein Empirical Study in Bogor District, West Java Province
The purpose of this study is to find out the market opportunities and marketing strategies of High Protein Non-Extrusion Floating Feed-in Bogor Regency, West Java Province. Research method with descriptive approach. The population in this study were all freshwater fish farmers in Bogor Regency, West Java Province, and samples used in this study were freshwater fish farmers, especially catfish in Bogor Regency, West Java Province. Data collection methods: observation, interview, and documentation study. Data analysis method with descriptive statistics. The results showed that the market opportunities for High ProteinNon-Extrusion Floating Feed products in Bogor Regency, West Java Province were very high, dominated by the Catfish culture market by 82.397%, the remaining 11.165% by Ornamental Fish cultivators, and 6.438% by Gurame Fish cultivators. For the marketing strategy carried out, especially the distribution strategy (place) and promotion strategy (promotion), the product strategy (product) and price strategy (price) have their own advantages and uniqueness compared to other catfish feed competitors
The Effect of Compensation and Training on Work Performance that Has an Impact on Employee Performance
This study aims to determine the effect of compensation and training on work performance which has an impact on employee performance at PT Cahaya Pratama Mandiri in Cilegon Banten. The method used is explanatory research with a sample of 100 respondents. The analysis technique uses statistical analysis with regression, correlation, determination, and hypothesis testing. The results of this study Compensation has a significant effect on work performance by 36.4%, hypothesis testing obtained a significance of 0.000 <0.05. Training has a significant effect on job performance by 46.3%, hypothesis testing obtained a significance of 0.000 <0.05. Simultaneous compensation and training have a significant effect on work performance by 52.9%, hypothesis testing obtained a significance of 0.000 <0.05. Work achievement has a significant effect on employee performance by 31.0%, hypothesis testing obtained a significance of 0.000 <0.05.
Comparative Study of the Financial Performance on Pharmaceutical and Healthcare Companies Before and During the Covid-19 Pandemic
The Covid-19 pandemic has disrupted supply chains both locally and globally, financial market volatility has faltered, there have been fluctuations in demand and has had an impact on the pharmaceutical and healthcare sectors. The increasing public awareness of the importance of maintaining health has made the products produced by the pharmaceutical and health sectors become products that are sought after by the public. The purpose of this study was to determine the financial performance of pharmaceutical and health companies before and during the COVID-19 pandemic using profitability ratios and solvency ratios. The results showed that there was no difference in financial performance using the profitability ratio approach, namely net profit margin, return on assets and return on equity. Meanwhile, by using the solvency ratio approach with debt to equity ratio and debt to asset ratio proxies, there are differences before and during the Covid-19 pandemic. The suggestion for this research is for pharmaceutical and health companies to always pay attention to their financial performance which in this study is concentrated on the solvency ratio because there are differences in performance before the pandemic and during the Covid-19 pandemic. Suggestions for other researchers are to increase the research period and add other financial ratios in order to enrich and expand the scope of research
The Influence of Intellectual Capital, Firm Size, and Leverage on Profitability in Poultry Industry Subsector Companies
This study aims to examine the effect of intellectual capital, firm size, and leverage on profitability in poultry industry sub-sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period 2012-2020. The analysis used in this study uses a fixed effect model with panel data regression analysis.The results showed that Intellectual Capital had no significant effect on profitability. Company size has a negative and significant effect on profitability (ROA). Leverage (DER) has a negative and significant effect on changes in Profitability (ROA) of Intellectual Capital (VAIC), Firm Size (FSZ) and Leverage (DER) together have a positive and significant effect on changes in Profitability (ROA) in listed Poultry Companies on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during the period 2012-2020. The Study of Seaweed Cultivation Development in Bone District
Some cultivators depend on the owners of capital, such as traders and entrepreneurs, so there is dependence on the owners of the capital. This study aims to determine the main factors that influence the development of seaweed cultivation; measure the contribution of these main factors to the development of seaweed cultivation, and determine the strategy for developing seaweed cultivation in Tanete Riattang District. East. Data were collected using observation, interview, and participatory rapid appraisal methods. Data were analyzed qualitatively. The results show that the main factors that influence the development of seaweed cultivation are the availability of 85.9% land with decent conditions, labor, business feasibility of 1.34 based on OI/Ratio analysis, access to capital, marketing results, post-harvest handling, and local government policies. Together and integrated, the main factors contribute to supporting and hindering the development of seaweed aquaculture. Possible development strategies These are land management and construction design of cultivation methods, application of long line and floating raft methods in offshore waters, activating extension of the "behavior" system (training and visits), setting planting schedules, technical guidance on cultivation and business management, forming Joint Business Groups (KUB), planning cultivation locations by involving stakeholders, zoning coastal and marine areas, forming partnerships between cultivators and entrepreneurs, and providing capital assistance with a revolving system and credit with interest subsidies
