Pemanfaatan Media Komunikasi dan Informasi dalam Perwujudan Pembangunan Nasional
This scientific work is the result of the analysis and study of literature that reviews the communication and information media, namely social media in the form of social networks as a very effective medium used as a medium of communication and information to convey problems or aspirations of the community, especially for regions that have not been touched by the media optimally. widely known by the general public, especially officials who are currently serving. This study has a purpose for: first, to describe the characteristics of digital age society that uses communication media. Second, describing the linkages of the media of communication with national development and Third, describing the opportunities and challenges that arise in the digital era society. And fourth, describe the efforts that must be done in the digital era.This research method is a descriptive study with a qualitative approach. Researchers conduct data collection in accordance with existing events. Then the data is analyzed by means of data collection, data reduction, data presentation then drawing conclusions or verification. The results of the study show that national development will be well realized if there is a communication medium in the form of social networks that are used by the community correctly, ethically and can be accounted for. This can be reached in the wider community with the existence of cooperation between the community and the local government, namely by conducting counseling in all places evenly
Kampanye Sosial Istana Belajar Anak Banten dalam Pembangunan Pendidikan di Era Digital
Social campaigns are carried out to increase public awareness and behavior of various issues faced by a country. The development of the digital era now demands that campaigns be enjoyed and seen through online media. One of the social campaign activities was the Banten Children\u27s Learning Palace (ISBANBAN), which involved young Bantenese in contributing to education in the area by using new media. This study aims to find out and describe the ISBANBAN social campaign communication strategy with the social marketing communication approach. This research is a qualitative research with a case study strategy that takes campaign activities through new media. The main data obtained through in-depth interviews and observations. The research findings provide an overview of the social marketing communication strategy carried out by ISBANBAN that connects offline interactions, namely teaching activities in remote Banten with online interaction, namely social media as the main channel in social marketing that aims to build brand awareness for donations, through new media information that gives more broad so it is expected to reach further adopter target targets. Target adopters of multiplayer donations that not only contribute funds but also energy and thought in an effort to advance education in remote Banten
Hubungan Komunikasi Corporate Social Responsibility dengan Reputasi Perusahaan
The Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program is a form of corporate social responsibility in reducing the impact of the company\u27s business activities. CSR programs should be supported by communication strategies so that their implementation will be effective. In each company has a different CSR communication strategy. The implementation of this CSR communication strategy has an impact on the company\u27s reputation, it is a very important part to support the sustainability of a company. The purpose of this paper is to identify corporate communication strategies in implementing CSR programs and the relationship of CSR communication strategies to the company\u27s reputation. This research was conducted in Malasari Village, Nanggung District, Bogor Regency, West Java using a quantitative approach supported by qualitative data. The quantitative approach is carried out by clustering in the three existing programs with a total of 40 respondents. The results of this study indicate that there is a relationship between the characteristics of the sender of messages with the effectiveness of CSR messages, communication strategies with the effectiveness of CSR messages and the effectiveness of CSR messages with company reputation
Efektivitas Strategi Promosi Produk Kopi Lokal di Rumah Kopi Ranin
Ranin Coffee House is a small scale business that is engaged in selling local coffee products. This business conducts promotional activities to increase sales of its products. The purpose of this study is to identify the form of promotional strategies, analyze the effectiveness of promotional strategies, and identify the relationship between respondent characteristics and the effectiveness of promotional strategies on the dimensions of empathy, persuasion, impact, and communication. This research was used a quantitative approach in a survey of 40 respondents who were supported by qualitative data with in-depth interviews with selected respondents who mastered the research problem. The results show that brand and packaging promotion strategies, Instagram media, and personal selling are counted effective in increasing empathy, persuasion, positive impact, and communication (EPIC dimension), and not all respondent characteristics are related to the effectiveness of promotional strategies carried out by Ranin Coffee House
Iklim Komunikasi dan Partisipasi dalam Program Pertanian Perkotaan
Urban farming programs are considered capable of overcoming problems in the city such as food availability. Urban farming activities can be successful if people participate. This study aims to analyze the relationship of individual characteristics with participation level in urban agriculture program, analyzing climate communication relationship of KWT Dahlia Indah and KWT Nusa Indah Lestari with participation level, and to analyze the relationship of participation level in the success of urban farming program in KWT Dahlia Indah and KWT Nusa Indah Lestari. The method used in this study is a quantitative method with a questionnaire instrument and supported by qualitative data with in-depth interviews of informants and respondents using question guides. The results of this study indicate that individual characteristics are not related to the level of participation. The existing communication climate in KWT is supportive and related to the level of participation. While the level of participation has a significant relationship with the success rate of urban farming program
Hibridisasi Ritus Tradisional sebagai Media Komunikasi Pembangunan di Kecamatan Cempa Kabupaten Pinrang
This study aimed to analyze the dynamics of hybridization results in conventional extension and the traditional rites(especially the ceremony of down to rice field), hybridization requirements, and potential benefits for communication development. The research was conducted in two rice farming communities in Cempa Sub-district, Pinrang District, South Sulawesi Province. The research method used is the ethnography of communication with the taking of data through observation and in-depth interview. Activities observed in this research, namely Rembuk Madya, Tudang Sipulung, and Mappalili (ritual ceremony). In-depth interviews were conducted on 10 purposely selected informants, consisting ofextension officers, traditional leaders, leaders of peasant organizations, and farmers. The results indicate dynamics on hybridization practices in the three activities. These differences are based on communication objectives and participants\u27 information needs. The conditions of hybridization can be categorized based on the internal conditions of the community and community relations with the government. Hybridization in the practice of extension and tradition rites is beneficial for maintaining social capacity, as well as increasing the participation of local farmers in agricultural development programs
Hubungan Fenomena Groupthink dengan Gaya Kepemimpinan Ketua RT di Desa Cikarawang
Neighborhood activities are a process that can be used to see the level of group members\u27 participation, often member participation is influenced by several things, such as groupthink phenomenon and group leader leadership style. The purpose of this study was to: (1) identify groupthink causal factors in groups, (2), identify leadership styles found in neighborhood, and (3) analyze the relationship of leadership style with groupthink phenomena in groups. This study uses a quantitative approach supported by qualitative data with 30 neighborhood as respondents. The subjects of this study were neighborhood groups located in Cikarawang Village, Dramaga District, Bogor Regency. Analysis of research data using the Spearman rank correlation test. The results show that there was no relationship between the leadership style of the chair and groupthink phenomena in the neighborhood activities. This condition influences the neighborhood leader dominant leadership style is laissez faire, so it has no relation to the decline in criticism of neighborhood members in groupthink phenomena
Segmentasi Pemilih Pemula berdasarkan Akses Berita Politik Melalui Media Sosial di Kabupaten Bogor
Political participation is an important problem because it is one form of support that comes from various parties or groups. Political participation is inseparable from the media as a means of information for the community. Beginner voters are one part of the community whose voice is needed in the political process. Beginner voters with media are two things that cannot be separated, especially the use of social media. The research objective consists of several things, namely: 1). Knowing the characteristics of beginner voters in Bogor Regency; 2). Knowing the use of social media in accessing political news on beginner voters; 3). Analyzing the political typology of beginner voters; 4). Analyzing the segmentation of beginner voter typology based on access to political news on social media. This study used a survey approach and data collection using a questionnaire on 105 respondents. The sampling method uses quota sampling while the data analysis uses descriptive analysis, mean scores and CHAID. The results of this study indicate that the characteristics of beginner voters in Bogor Regency are dominated by women, high school education, not participating in the organization. Instagram is the most widely used social media as access to political news. The typology of beginner voters from the largest percentage is apathetic voters followed by naive, alienated and loyal voters, the media, the more access to news through social media encourages voters to be loyal, without accessing politics through social media makes voters apathetic
Cyber Extension: Penggunaan Media dan Kelancaran Pencarian Informasi di Kalangan Penyuluh Pertanian Kabupaten Bogor
Current sustainable development of agriculture is one of which depends on the capacity of agricultural extension workers. The development of information technology contributes to the means for increasing this capacity. Cyber Extension, which is the embodiment of Law No. 16 of 2006 concerning agricultural extension systems, is expected to be fully utilized by extension agents throughout Indonesia. This is so that the instructors can provide information and develop innovations in agriculture. This study aims to explain the use of media and the stage of information seeking by instructors in Bogor district. The concept used in this research is Cyber Extension, media use and the smoothness of information retrieval. This study uses a quantitative descriptive approach with data collection techniques through surveys. A total of 61 agricultural instructors in Bogor Regency were interviewed through a closed questionnaire. In the media use variable, the results of the study show that the extension agent\u27s ability to access is good while the availability of facilities and operational costs are still in the less category. Komunikasi Pemberdayaan sebagai Perspektif Baru Pengembangan Pendidikan Komunikasi Pembangunan di Indonesia
The presence of development communication is basically aimed at contributing to the development process, especially in order to accelerate the diffusion process of innovation. The diffusion of innovation in development is an effort to meet the demands of modernization. Therefore, development is often equated with the term modernization. One indicator of modernization is the presence of communication technology that is very fast developing. Communication technology that was created to facilitate human work in the end was not able to place humans as subjects, but instead became the object of technology. The helplessness of individual humans when dealing with communication technology is a picture of the failure of the development process and human-centered social change. Communities are often powerless to stem the hegemony of communication technology. Therefore empowerment communication is a new perspective in the education of development communication in the spirit of voicing the voiceless. This study aims to reveal the social changes that occur in the "thugs" community in the development process as an illustration of community empowerment in communication seen from the perspective of the theory of communicative action. This research is a case study using a qualitative approach. Data was collected through in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation. The results of this study include: 1) Changes in people\u27s mindsets are able to bring them to a pattern of behavior that is different from before. In the process of this change it can be seen that in the community there is a process of self-help to get out of stigma as a "village of thugs"; 2) Communicative actions of the community based on four claims according to the communicative action theory of Habermas in the empowerment process show the empowerment of the community in communicating that moves them in a living condition based on the existence of mutually agreed upon values and norms; 3) The functioning of social groups into public spaces for the community to communicate and express, thus fostering emancipation and solidarity among the community. Social groups are the most effective forum for empowerment at the community level that enables individuals to organize themselves in these groups (collective self-empowerment) so that a dialogical encounter occurs that fosters and strengthens awareness of communication and group solidarity
