The Effect of Role-Playing Learning Models on The Javanese Krama Inggil Speaking Skills
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran bermain peran terhadap keterampilan berbicara bahasa Jawa Krama Inggil siswa kelas IV SDN Sendangrejo I Lamongan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain one-group pretest-posttest. Jumlah siswa dalam penelitian ini adalah 10 orang. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi observasi, pelaksanaan pembelajaran (kinerja), dan tes hasil belajar (pretest posttest). Aspek keterampilan berbicara yang dinilai meliputi kebahasaan, pengucapan, intonasi, dan pilihan kata (diksi). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan skor rata-rata dari 57,5 pada pretest menjadi 92,5 pada posttest. Uji statistik menggunakan uji-t sampel berpasangan menunjukkan bahwa model pembelajaran bermain peran berpengaruh signifikan terhadap peningkatan keterampilan berbicara siswa. Dengan demikian, model ini efektif untuk meningkatkan keterampilan berbicara bahasa Jawa Krama Inggil pada jenjang sekolah dasar.
Analysis of students’ reading comprehension skills in indonesian language subject of fourth-grade students at SDN Barurambat Kota 1 pamekasan
This study aims to analyze the reading comprehension skills of fourth-grade students at SDN Barurambat Kota 1 Pamekasan in the Indonesian language subject. The research focuses on students’ mastery of reading comprehension indicators in accordance with the Merdeka Curriculum, including the ability to identify main ideas, understand explicit and implicit information, interpret vocabulary in context, draw logical conclusions, and evaluate the author’s purpose. This study employed a qualitative approach with a case study design. Data were collected through reading comprehension tests based on ten indicators, classroom observations, interviews with teachers and students, and documentation. The results revealed variations in students’ reading comprehension abilities. Students in the high-ability group demonstrated good literal and inferential comprehension, used active strategies such as summarizing, and showed strong motivation to read. Meanwhile, most students were in the moderate and low categories, showing difficulties in identifying implicit information, interpreting contextual vocabulary, and constructing coherent conclusions. These findings indicate that most students are still at the literal comprehension level, while inferential and evaluative skills remain underdeveloped. The study concludes that limited vocabulary mastery, low motivation, and the use of conventional teaching strategies hinder reading comprehension development. Therefore, teachers need to design contextual and student-centered learning strategies to improve comprehension skills holistically. The results of this research are expected to serve as a reference for strengthening school literacy culture and developing innovative reading instruction models

This study aims to describe teachers' perceptions of the independent training feature on the Merdeka Belajar (PMM) Platform as an effort to strengthen teacher competence in the context of implementing the Merdeka Curriculum. This research is important to find out the extent to which independent training can support the development of teacher competencies, especially in facing the challenges of curriculum changes based on independence and flexibility. The method used in this research is a descriptive approach with data collection techniques through interviews with teachers in several schools. The data collected was analysed qualitatively to obtain in-depth findings regarding teachers' perceptions of the self-training feature. The results showed that the majority of teachers have a positive perception of the self-training feature in PMM, considering it as a good tool to strengthen professional competencies, especially in technology-based teaching and a more flexible curriculum. However, there are some challenges such as limited time, resources, and access to technology that need to be considered. The conclusion of this study is that the self-training feature in PMM has great potential to support the development of teachers' competencies, but further support is needed from the school and government to make it more effective to overcome the existing obstacles, so that the use of this feature can be optimized in the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum.Abstract Perubahan pesat dalam bidang teknologi, sosial, danekonomi saat ini menuntut dunia pendidikan untukmelakukan adaptasi melalui penerapan strategi pembelajaranmodern yang lebih inovatif dan berpusat pada peserta didik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji secara komprehensifberbagai strategi pembelajaran modern yang mampumenjawab tantangan pendidikan masa kini, terutama terkaitkebutuhan pengembangan kompetensi abad 21 sepertikreativitas, kolaborasi, komunikasi, dan berpikir kritis. Metode penelitian menggunakan studi literatur denganmenelaah jurnal, artikel ilmiah, dan laporan penelitianterbaru terkait inovasi pembelajaran dan integrasi teknologidalam proses pendidikan. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwamodel seperti project-based learning, problem-based learning, flipped classroom, blended learning, sertapenggunaan media digital interaktif memiliki efektivitastinggi dalam meningkatkan motivasi belajar, keterlibatanaktif, dan pencapaian kompetensi peserta didik. Selain itu, penelitian ini menegaskan pentingnya peran guru sebagaifasilitator, inovator, dan pengelola lingkungan belajar yang fleksibel dan kolaboratif. Tantangan seperti kesenjanganteknologi, rendahnya literasi digital, dan kesiapan guru jugamenjadi aspek penting yang perlu diatasi untuk memastikanimplementasi strategi modern dapat berjalan optimal. The Use of Kinetic Sand Media to Improve the Initial Writing Ability of Disabled Students
This study aimed to determine the effectiveness of using kinetic sand media as an intervention tool to improve the initial writing skills, specifically graphomotor control and letter imitation, in students with Intellectual Disabilities (ID) at SKh Negeri 02 Lebak. The research employed a quantitative pre-experimental design using the One Group Pre-test Post-test design. The subjects consisted of three students with intellectual disabilities (N=3) from the SDLB level. Data were collected through observation checklists (pre-test and post-test) and analyzed using the non-parametric Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test, appropriate for a small sample size. The analysis revealed a significant increase in the subjects’ initial writing scores following the kinetic sand intervention. The statistical test yielded an Asymp. Sig. (2-tailed) value of p 0.05, indicating a significant difference between pre-test and post-test scores. This result substantiates that the sensory and manipulative nature of kinetic sand successfully strengthened the subjects' intrinsic hand muscles and enhanced fine motor control necessary for writing. It is concluded that the use of kinetic sand media has a positive and statistically significant effect on improving the initial writing skills of students with intellectual disabilities. The intervention is highly recommended for special education settings as an engaging and effective pre-writing preparatory activity
Teachers’ Readiness and Challenges in Local Wisdom-based Science Learning through Interactive Pop-Up Book Media in Elementary Schools
This study aims to explore elementary school teachers’ readiness and challenges in implementing local wisdom-based science learning through interactive pop-up book media. Contextual science learning that integrates local culture requires adequate teacher readiness in pedagogical competence, professional skills, and instructional media development. This research employed a qualitative descriptive approach. The participants were elementary school teachers in Madura, Indonesia. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, classroom observations, and document analysis. Data analysis followed the Miles and Huberman model, consisting of data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing and verification. The findings reveal that most teachers possess conceptual awareness of the importance of integrating local wisdom into science learning; however, their practical readiness remains limited. Major challenges include insufficient skills in developing instructional media, limited time, lack of hands-on professional training, and inadequate institutional support. Interactive pop-up book media is perceived as highly potential to support local wisdom-based science learning, yet its implementation requires continuous teacher professional development and supportive school policies. This study recommends systematic capacity-building programs to enhance teachers’ competencies in developing and implementing innovative, culturally responsive science learning media
Implementation of EMASLIM Leadership in Strengthening Teacher Performance and Professionalism at SATAP Junior High School, Gowa Regency
This study aims to describe the implementation of EMASLIM leadership (Educator, Manager, Administrator, Supervisor, Leader, Innovator, and Motivator) as a strategy to strengthen teacher performance and professionalism at SMP SATAP Gowa, which operates in a remote area context. This research employed a qualitative approach with a case study design. Data were collected through observations, in-depth interviews, and document analysis involving the principal, teachers, administrative staff, school supervisors, and parents of students. The findings revealed that the principal implemented EMASLIM roles adaptively and integratively through professional guidance utilizing the Merdeka Mengajar Platform (PMM), academic supervision based on a coaching model, resource management aligned with local needs, and the development of a collaborative work culture. Furthermore, the innovation of providing school transportation (mobil tayo) significantly improved student attendance and learning continuity, thereby enhancing teacher motivation, work ethic, pedagogical performance, and professional competence. Use of Microsoft Excel as Student Value and Data Management at SDIT Al Uswah Pamekasan
This study discusses the use of Microsoft Excel in the management of student grades and data at SDIT Al Uswah Pamekasan. Along with the rapid development of information technology in the Industrial Revolution 4.0 era, educational institutions are required to optimize the use of technology to improve the efficiency of academic administration. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation. The results of the study indicate that Microsoft Excel is effective for recording daily grades, midterm and final exams, attendance, and student data recapitulation. The use of Excel provides various benefits, such as work efficiency, increased data accuracy, professional data presentation, and encouraging teachers' technological skills. However, there are challenges in the form of digital literacy inequality among teachers and minimal formal training. Therefore, ongoing training and technological assistance are needed to optimize the use of Microsoft Excel in elementary school environments
Leadership Management in Delivering Educational Services in Higher Education
This study aims to analyze the role of leadership management in improving the quality of educational services in higher education through a qualitative approach using literature study analysis. The research focuses on exploring transformational, situational, and participative leadership theories as the foundation for designing effective managerial strategies. The findings reveal that the implementation of adaptive and innovative leadership models not only enhances institutional internal performance but also strengthens academic service capacity through collaboration, human resource empowerment, and responsiveness to the dynamic needs of stakeholders. Further analysis demonstrates that integrating participative and transformational leadership principles fosters an inclusive educational environment oriented toward continuous improvement. These findings affirm the critical synergy between flexible leadership styles and structured management policies in driving the transformation of higher education services. The study provides practical recommendations for policymakers and higher education stakeholders to adopt holistic leadership approaches aligned with contemporary challenges, while opening avenues for further research on managerial innovations in the education sector
Teachers and Learning: Efforts to Develop Students' Character
A teacher is a person who is crucial in helping students develop the moral character, knowledge, and keterampilan that they need to achieve success in the future. Effective learning does not only focus on cognitive aspects, but also on developing students' character so that they become quality individuals, have good ethics, and are able to contribute positively to society. In this research, various literature related to educational theories, learning approaches, and character concepts are used as the basis for identifying strategies that can be applied by teachers in an effort to shape student character. Based on a literature review, it was found that the integration of character values in daily learning activities, the application of experience-based learning models, as well as humanist and participatory learning approaches, have great potential in forming students' strong character and integrity. It is hoped that this research can provide insight for educators and policy makers in formulating a more effective approach in developing student character in the educational environment
Efektivitas Penggunaan Media Pembelajaran Komedi Putar Membaca Dalam Meningkatkan Kemampuan Membaca Permulaan Siswa Kelas 1 SD Negeri Krapyak Wetan
Professional counseling is fundamentally based on a trusting relationship, upheld by strict ethical principles such as confidentiality. While maintaining client confidentiality is a non-negotiable cornerstone of practice, counselors require effective, ethical techniques to facilitate meaningful change. This article explores the integrated use of two such powerful techniques: interpretation and body awareness strategies. Interpretation allows the counselor to offer insights and connect patterns in the client's thoughts and behaviors, while body awareness techniques help clients access and process unconscious emotions and trauma stored somatically. When combined, these strategies provide a holistic framework that bridges cognitive understanding and embodied experience. This article argues that this integration can significantly deepen client self-understanding and promote more profound therapeutic outcomes. The discussion includes the theoretical underpinnings of this approach, practical methods for its implementation, and its applicability within both individual and group counseling settings, all while adhering to the highest ethical standards of the profession.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas penggunaan media pembelajaran komedi putar membaca pada pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia ditinjau dari kemampuan membaca permulaan siswa kelas 1 SD Negeri Krapyak Wetan.Penelitian ini dilakukan di SD Negeri Krapyak Wetan pada tahun ajaran 2024/2025. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian ekperimental semu (Quasi Experimental) dengan pendekatan penelitian kuantitatif. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas I SD Negeri Krapyak Wetan. Sampel Penelitian ini adalah Kelas 1A berjumlah 15 siswa sebagai kelas Eksperimen dan kelas 1B berjumlah 15 siswa sebagai Kelas Kontrol. Metode yang digunakan meliputi pretest, perlakuan dengan media pembelajaran, dan posttest. Pada kelas eksperimen, siswa diajarkan menggunakan media "Komedi Putar Membaca", sedangkan kelas kontrol tidak menggunakan media tersebut. Hasil observasi menunjukkan bahwa siswa di kelas eksperimen menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam kemampuan membaca, dengan banyak siswa yang awalnya terbata-bata menjadi lebih lancar setelah perlakuan.Hasil penelitian yang di peroleh Uji validitas dan reliabilitas instrumen pretest dan posttest dilakukan dengan menggunakan software IBM SPSS Statistic, yang menunjukkan bahwa 26 dari 26 butir soal valid dan reliabilitas instrumen mencapai Cronbach’s Alpha sebesar sig = 0,630 yang menunjukkan tingkat reliabilitas yang cukup baik. Uji normalitas dan homogenitas variansi juga dilakukan, dengan hasil menunjukkan bahwa data berdistribusi normal dan variansi antara kelas kontrol dan eksperimen homogen. Uji hipotesis menggunakan t-test menunjukkan nilai signifikansi sebesar sig = 0,006 yang lebih kecil dari sig = 0,05 sehingga H0 ditolak. Ini mengindikasikan bahwa penggunaan media pembelajaran "Komedi Putar Membaca" efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan membaca siswa kelas 1. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi penting dalam pengembangan metode pembelajaran yang inovatif dan menarik, serta menunjukkan bahwa media pembelajaran yang interaktif dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa secara signifika
