KEANEKARAGAMAN VEGETASI DI HUTAN LINDUNG GUNUNG SEMAHUNG DESA SAHAM KECAMATAN SENGAH TEMILA KABUPATEN LANDAK
Efforts to inventory the wealth of forest resources are still needed. There are stillmany areas that have potential especially plants than can be utilezed in order to preserver the forest. This research aims to determine the Diversity of Vegetation that exist in the Protected Forest of Gunung Semahung, Village of Saham, Sengah Temila Sub-district, Landak District. This research uses survey method by placing double plot where sampling is placed in accordance with the predetermined direction. The research plots are systematically laid out. Number of paths made as lines with a length of 1000 meters, each path there are 25 plot observations made in accordance with the direction of the compass, so the overallarea is 2 Ha. 20 x 20 m observation plot to measure tree level, 10 x 10 m for measuring pole level, 5 x 5 m for measuring stake level and 2 x 2 m to measure seedling level. The distance between plots is 20 m. The data obtained are then calculated relative density and density, relative frequency and frequency, dominance and relative dominance, to obtain an Important Value Index (INP). Further calculated Dominance Index (C), Type Diversity Index (H) and Tpe Abudance Index (E). The Important Value Index (INP) at the dominant seedling level is Garcinia xanthochymus (16,39). The Important Value Index (INP) at the most dominant stakes is the Durio zibethinus (15,68). The Important Value Index (INP) at the most dominant pole level is the Shorea acuminatissima (19,59). The Important Value Index (INP) at the most dominant tree level is the Diosphyros maingayi (36,36). The highest Dominity Index at the tree level is 0,1747. The highest Diversity Index at the stakes level is 1.5510. The highest Type Abundance Index at the pole level is 0.9625.Keywords: Mount Semahung, The Diversity Of Vegetation Protected Forest, The Index Values Are Importan
PERAN MASYARAKAT DESA SENAKIN DALAM PENGELOLAAN WISATA RIAM SOLAKNG SEBAGAI KAWASAN WISATA ALAM DI KECAMATAN SENGAH TEMILA KABUPATEN LANDAK

POTENSI KARBON PADA TEGAKAN HUTAN MANGROVE DI DESA SEBATUAN KABUPATEN SAMBAS
This study aimed to obtain information on the amount of carbon stockin Sustainable Mangrove Park in Sebatuan village of Sambas district. The analysis of biomass, carbon stock, and canopy cover in mangrove forest applied survey method using a line with the continous plot. The placement of the lines started about 20 meters from the shore line until it reached the river on the other side, with 50 meters distance between lines. Within each line, a 10 x 10 meters plot were made for the assessment of tree and of tree canopy cover. The results showed dense canopy cover classes with the number of plots as many as 41 plots with 86,0 % canopy cover had stock of carbon of 31,04 tons/ha equivalent to 113,92 tons CO2/ha. Canopy cover class with the number of plots as many as 31 pieces with 57,4% canopy cover has a carbon stock of 22,22 tonnes/ha equivalent to 81,55 tons CO2/ha. Thess results suggested that canopy density affectthe amount of carbon stock, yet, the canopy cover class has a different potency. Keywords: Biomass, Carbon, Mangrove Forest

JENIS KELELAWAR PEMAKAN BUAH (Pteropodidae) DI KAWASAN GUA THANG RAYA KECAMATAN BEDUAI KABUPATEN SANGGAU KALIMANTAN BARAT
Bats are very important for the ecosystem including for pollination as well as the spread of plants. Forest clearing for plantation becomes a threat to bats to fine food in fruits trees, specially frugivorous bats (Pteropodidae). The aim of this study is to determine the species diversity of frugivorous bats (Pteropodidae) in the area of Thang Raya Cave in Subdistrict of Beduai Sanggau Regency West Kalimantan, and the results of this study are expected to provide information about the types of frugivorous bats (Pteropodidae) that can be used in ecosystem management in the region of Thang Raya Cave. This research used the catch and release method with mist nets as many as 6 pieces. This mist nets were placed purposively at three research sites namely at the around of watershed, fruit trees and Thang raya Cave. The bats caught were measured, identified and tagged and then released. From the analysis, it is known the bats caught were as many as 31 individuals belonging to one family and two species of bat, were Rosettus amplexicaudatus and cynopterus horsfieldi with the number of individual 24 males and 7 femakes. The highest dominance indeks of bats found in the around of the Thnag Raya Café was (1,00), the indeks of highest species diversity was found at of fruit trees (0,23), the evenness index was the highest at of fruit trees (0,76), the index of species richness was the highest at of fruit trees (1,05), and the similarty index was the highest at between the fruit trees and Thang Raya Cave (0,82). PERBANDINGAN ZAT PEWARNA EKSTRAK DAUN DAN SERASAH TENGKAWANG (Shorea macrophylla Ashton) YANG TERFIKSASI TERHADAP KAYU SENGON (Paraserianthes falcataria (L.) Nielsen)
Wood was used as main component of raw material for sculpture and souvenir in West Kalimantan. High demand of this product made the artisan used wood with low quality, such as Sengon wood which has low densities and unsuitable color. Therefore to overcome the problem they used natural dye from leave of several woods. But the color still not performs well and easy to leach when the wood has expose to the light. This research aimed to made a natural dye from leaves and herbs of Tengkawang wood (Shorea macrophylla Ashton) with fixation materials were CaCO3; FeSO4 an (Kal(SO4)2.12H2O). Evaluation the durability of color was conducted according ASTM D 870-02-2002 and ASTM D 1308-02-2013 standard. The result showed that fixation material increased the color and durability of natural dye from leaves and herbs. Their values were fulfilling the standard. Extract from leaves was good from leaching in hot water process but not so good in cold water and detergen process. Vice versa with the result from extract of herbs, the value was good on durability from leaching in cold water and detergen process and not good on hot water process. The natural extract from leaves and herbs of Tengkawang with fixation process can be used for natural dye to product of sculpture and souvenir from wood in West Kalimantan. Keywords: fixation, natural dye, Paraserianthes falcataria, sculpture, Shorea macrophylla
RIAP DIAMETER TANAMAN MERANTI PADA SISTEM SILVIKULTUR TEBANG PILIH TANAM INDONESIA (TPTI) DAN TEBANG PILIH TANAM JALUR (TPTJ) DI AREAL IUPHHK-HA PT. SUKA JAYA MAKMUR KABUPATEN KETAPANG KALIMANTAN BARAT
Area of IUPHHK-HA PT. Suka Jaya Makmur has planted three types of Shorea (Shorea leprosula, Shorea parvifolia, and Shorea johoriensis) at silvicultural system TPTI and TPTJ. The present study aimed at identifying the diameter increment of Shorea leprosula, Shorea parvifolia, and Shorea johoriensis which were planted by using silvicultural system of Indonesian Selective Logging and Plantation (TPTI) and Selective Logging and Line Planting (TPTJ). Data collection was done through a technique called purposive sampling. Results of the discussion showed that the diameter increment of Shorea leprosula was bigger than two other types of Shorea i.e. Shorea parvifolia and Shorea johoriensis. The analysis also revealed that there was a difference of the diameter increment between silvicultural system of TPTI and TPTJ. The diameter of TPTJ increased faster i.e. 3.46 cm/year in comparison with TPTI which was only 1.02 cm/year. Keywords: diameter increment, silvicultural system TPTI and TPTJ, three types of Shorea
