KEANEKARAGAMAN JENIS PAKU-PAKUAN DI KAWASAN IUPHHK-HTI PT. BHATARA ALAM LESTARI KABUPATEN MEMPAWAH
The study aims to know the diversity of species nails in an secondary forest in regional IUPHHK-HTI PT. Bhatara Alam Lestari to Kabupaten Mempawah. The research is all sports of crops spike in research area. The study was conducted using a method of survey and the sample collection technique in do with or placement tenement sample in doing intentional. The size of tenement her observation is 20 X 20 m, section of the test the as much as to 2% (3,98 Ha) of the area in the ( 199,33 Ha) so there will a 10 tenement observation. the results of the study showed that kind of a nill cecerean INP the highest number with value of having the value of the (52,76), while value INP the lowest on the type of nails remiding worth INP (8,19), index value dominance (C) suggests that dominance not focused on a species in a row, but spread in between all tenement. So the index domination showed that the plants a spike on tenement observation not dominant, because it is still under the standard dominance (<1), and index value diversity (H) highest is spikes cecerean. PENGARUH STRUKTUR VEGETASI TERHADAP KELIMPAHAN KERANG KEPAH (Polymesoda erosa) PADA HUTAN MANGROVE DESA SUNGAI BAKAU KECIL KABUPATEN MEMPAWAH KALIMANTAN BARAT
Mangrove forests are one of the ecosystems that have important values in terms of physical, biological and economic. Increasing the quality of forests can increase the usefull of one of the biological benefits. This can be seen by many animals that use the forest as a shelter, spawning, foraging and so forth. One of the mangrove forest in Sungai Bakau Kecil`s Village, Mempawah, West Kalimantan. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of density and vegetation structure on the abundance of shellfish.The method used in this research was survey. Determination of starting point as the first line of observation was done purposively (placement deliberately), for the next path systematically with a distance of 100 m. Observation of mangrove vegetation was pathway technique. Each path was made of 3 plots of observation of mangrove vegetation and shellfish with each plot area of 10 m X 10 m. The plot was made perpendicular to the coastline, the first plot was near the beach then the second plot was made 50 m from the first plot and the third plot was made 50 m from the second plot. The samples was made of 3 quadran with 1m x 1m for shellfish samples .The highest density of vegetation with the highest shellfish was found in observation plots 3, 6 and 9 with each density of Vegetation in plot 3, 6, 9 were 7851/Ha, 13029/Ha and 5261/Ha respectively, and the range of 6-8 shellsfish. Vegetation structure at 3, 6 and 9 observation plots that can provide food, space and temperature that support for shellfish with tree density of 9-17/Ha, stakes 256-512/Ha and seedlings 5000-12500/Ha.Keywords: Mangrove, Shellfish, Vegetatio
KEANEKARAGAMAN JENIS KANTONG SEMAR (Nepenthes spp) DALAM KAWASAN HUTAN TANAMAN INDUSTRI PT. BHATARA ALAM LESTARI KABUPATEN MEMPAWAH PROVINSI KALIMANTAN BARAT
Nepenthes is a unique and rare plants that exist in Indonesia, as the plants listed are those species that threatened extinct. Reseach aims to determine the Nepenthes species diversity in Industrial Plantation Forest Areas Sustainable Natural PT. Bhatara Alam Lestari Mempawah district of West Kalimantan, The method used was survey metho. Field data collection using a single swath in purposive sampling, then the data were analyzed by using the formula diversity index Shannon-Wiener equation. The result shows in Industrial Plantation Forest Sustainable Natural PT.Bhatara found 7 speci these species are Nepenthes of Nepenthes ampullaria, Nepenthes rafflesiana, Nepenthes pilosa, Nepenthes reinwardtiana, Nepenthes xneglecta, Nepenthes bicalcarata and Diversity hirsute. Indeks Nepenthes highest in rafflesiana Nepenthes species by value (H = 0.1376), with a value Nepenthes ampullaria (H = 0.1200), Nepenthes xneglecta value (H=0.074), and the lowest for the Diversity Index Nepenthes pilosa species by value (H = 0.0076).Keywords: Diversity type, Nepenthes, Nepenthes ampullaria, rafflesiana. SEBARAN TENGKAWANG (Shorea spp.) BERDASARKAN FITOGEOGRAFI PADA HUTAN ADAT PENGAJIT DESA SAHAN KECAMATAN SELUAS KABUPATEN BENGKAYANG
Tengkawang (Shorea spp) is a type of plant that is protected and classified as a type of meranti with tengkawang fat-producing fruit. The spread of tengkawang is usually clustered and grows in tropical rain forests with high rainfall in wet climates and high humidity. This study aims to determine the distribution of tengkawang tree species based on geographical distribution (phytogeography). The study was carried out in the Pengajit village of Sahan customary forest, Seluas District, Bengkayang Regency. The research was conducted by survey method, sampling was carried out by means of a census which is exploring the observation area. Data analysis was carried out by recording data on tengkawang tree types and observations in the form of local names, scientific names, altitude, slope, coordinate points, slope direction (East, West, North and South) and tree diameter. The results of the study were 5 (five) types of tengkawang, namely tengkawang tempiras (Shorea macrophylla Ashton), tengkawang layar (Shorea mecistopteryx Ridl), tengkawang tungkul (Shorea stenoptera Burck), tengkawang air (Shorea seminis Sloot) and tengkawang pengampeng (Shorea pinanga Scheff) with distribution patterns clustered and not clustered. Tengkawang is available at an altitude of 150 found tengkawang sails (Shorea mecistopteryx Ridl) and tengkawang pengampeng (Shorea pinanga Scheff). KUALITAS PAPAN OSB ( Oriented Strand Board ) DARI KAYU KARET (Hevea brasiliensis) BERDASARKAN PANJANG STRAND DAN KADAR PEREKAT
The objectives of the research were to analyze the effect of strand length difference, adhesive level and its interaction on physical and mechanical properties of wood rubber OSB board. As well as to analyze the length of the strand and the adhesive level that produces the physical and mechanical properties of the best rubber wood OSB board. The research was conducted at Wood Workshop Laboratory, Wood Processing Laboratory, Faculty of Forestry, University of Tanjungpura and Laboratory of PT. Duta Pertiwi Nusantara Pontianak. The materials used are rubber wood, phenol formaldehyde adhesive (PF) and liquid paraffin. The treatments in this study were strand length was 5 cm, 10 cm and 15 cm, and adhesive content was of 5%, 7%, 9%. OSB boards were made measuring 30 cm x 30 cm x 1cm with a target density of 0.7 gr / cm3. Forged hot with temperature of 160 ºC for 7 minutes. The results showed that all of the strand length and adhesive treatments resulted in OSB complying with JIS A 5908-2003 (Base Particleboard Type 24-10) standard, except for water content test in A3B2 treatment and MOE test on treatment A1B1, A1B2. Based on best OSB scoring calculation is rubber wood with strand length 15 cm with 9% adhesive level.Keywords: Adhesive Content, Oriented Strand Board, Quality, Strand Lengt
PEMANFAATAN GETAH DAMAR OLEH MASYARAKAT DI KELURAHAN KEDAMIN HULU KECAMATAN PUTUSSIBAU SELATAN KABUPATEN KAPUAS HULU
One of the HHBK is sap from resin wood. See its abundant potential in Indonesia resin gum made one of the forest plants that are able to provide production both wood and other results (not wood). Resin is one of the long-know non-timber forest products, producing a sap produced only by certain forest tree species. The aim of this research is to observe the utilization of damar sap by the people of Kedamin Hulu, and also analyzing the relationship between the utilization of damar sap with the level of income, knowledge, and cosmopolitan. This research used descriptive method in form of surveys using interview technique and using questioners as the tool of data collection. Based on the result of the research done to 87 respondents, it is known that from 87 respondents, 3 respondents (4%) have moderate level of utilization, 10 respondents (11%) have low level of utilization. Therefore, it can be concluded that the utilization of damar sap based on the level of utilization tend to have a high-level utilization, from 87 respondent, there are 74 respondents (85%) with high level of utilization. 74 respondents (85%) have positive level of utilization.Keyword: Kapuas Hulu, Non-timber Forest Products, Resin Sap, Resin Wood, Utilizatio
IDENTIFIKASI JENIS TENGKAWANG (Shorea spp) SEBAGAI PEWARNA ALAMI TENUN IKAT KABUPATEN KAPUAS HULU KALIMANTAN BARAT
Tengkawang (Shorea spp) is one type of forestry plant that grows in tropical rain forest. The existence of tengkawang in its natural habitat is now beginning to decrease and hard to find. Communities in Tekalong Village Lanjak Deras Village Batang Lupar Sub-district, Kapuas Hulu Regency utilizes tengkawang (Shorea spp) as a natural dye ikat. Tengkawang leaf in traditional though to produce a dye that is on the stew. This study aims to obtain data on identification and describe the characteristics of morphology tengkawang (Shorea spp), and to know the utilization of tengkawang (Shorea spp) by the community in Tekalong Village. The results of identification found 2 types of tengkawang is Shorea macrophylla 49 stem dan Shorea splendida 13 stem, Part of tengkawang that is used by the community as a natural dye that is old leaf.Keywords: identification, natural dyes, Tengkawang (Shorea spp) weaving ikat
KEANEKARAGAMAN JENIS JAMUR MAKROSKOPIS DI KAWASAN HUTAN SEKUNDER AREAL IUPHHK-HTI PT. BHATARA ALAM LESTARI KABUPATEN MEMPAWAH
Macroscopic fungi have an important role for sustainable forest ecosystems. This study aims to describe the diversity of macroscopic fungi species in secondary forest areas in the area of IUPHHK-HTI PT. Bhatara Alam Lestari Bukit Batu village of Mempawah districk. This research used survey method with purposive sampling technique and macroscopic fungi inventory using a 5m × 5m double plot of 14 plots with total area of 0.035 ha observation plot. In the study sites, 33 macroscopic fungi were found from 15 families, namely Agaricaceae, Boletaceae, Ganodermataceae, Hygrophoraceae, Inocybaceae, Marasmiaceae, Meruliaceae, Mycenaceae, Physalacriaceae, Polyporaceae, Psathyrellaceae, Sarcoscyphaceae, Stereaceae, Strophariaceae and Xylariaceae. The highest number of Polyporaceae family species were Lentinus squarosulus, Polyporus arcularia, Microporus affinis, Microporus sp., Tremetes versicolor, Tremetes sp. (1) and Tremetes sp. (2). Macroscopic fungi were found to have benefits for humans as foodstuffs such as B. suptomentosus, R. caperata, L. squarosulus, P. arcularia and C. Tricholoma. Species which were benefited as medicines Ganoderma sp., G. lucidum, G. applantum, G. tesugae, G. boninense and X. Polymorpha. Where as species which were benefited as souvenirs were Microporus sp., M. afinis, Stereum sp. and Stereum osrea. Macroscopic fungi that have ecological benefits as saprophytes were Leucocoprinus sp., Lepiota sp., Ganoderma sp., G. lucidum, G. applantum, G. tesugae, G. boninense, Hygrocibe sp., H. miniata, R. caperata, M. scorodonius, M. haematocepala, C. septentrionalis, Mycena sp., M. panaeolus, M. delicatella, C. asprata, L. squarosulus, P. arcularia, Microporus sp., M. afinis, T. versicolor, Tremetes sp. (1), Tremetes sp. (2), P. condolleana, C. tricholoma, Stereum sp., Stereum osrea, G. leiteopiridis, G. braendlei, X. polymorpha. SIFAT PAPAN PARTIKEL DARI CAMPURAN KULIT KAYU Rhizophora apiculata BI DAN Acacia crassicarpa A. Cunn. Ex.Benth BERDASARKAN KONSENTRASI PEREKAT UREA FORMALDEHIDA
The need of the Indonesian people to wood each year increases with the increase of population. This is not matched by the existing of wood supply, so that another alternative is needed to meet the wood demand by making wood composite such as particle board. The purpose of this research is to evaluate the effect of concentration UF adhesive, material composition and the interaction of both factors on physical and mechanical properties of particle board made from Rhizophora apiculata BI bark and Acacia crassicarpa A.Cunn.exBenth that meet the JIS A 5908-2003 type 8 standard. The materials used in this study are bark of mangrove, bark of acacia, urea formaldehyde adhesive, liquid paraffin and catalyst. Particle board were prepared with the composition of raw materials of bark of mangrove: bark of acacia were 100: 0, 50: 50, 0: 100 and adhesive concentration of 8%, 10%, 12%. Particle board was made with size of 30 cm x 30 cm x 1 cm with target density of 0,6 gr/cm3. Hot pressure was done for 10 minutes with a temperature of 120 oC and pressure of 20 kg/cm2. The results showed that the composition of the material had a significant effect on moisture content, thickness swelling, water absorption, internal bonding, MOR and MOE. The adhesive concentration factor significantly affected the thickness swelling, internal bonding, MOE and MOR. The interaction of both factors had only a significant effect on the screw hold strength, while there is no significant effect on the other physical and mechanical properties. The best physical and mechanical properties are generated by particle board with composition of bark of mangrove and bark of acacia (50:50) and 12% adhesive concentration.Keywords: adhesive concentration, bark of acacia, bark of mangrove, particle board, physical and mechanical properties
TINGKAT DOMINANSI DAN ASOSIASI KELOMPOK KAYU INDAH DI AREAL IUPHHK-HTI PT. BHATARA ALAM LESTARI KABUPATEN MEMPAWAH
This study aims to assess and provide information on how big the dominance and association of trees in IUPHHK-HTI PT. Bhatara Alam Lestari area. The problem in this research is the existence of human activities in managing the forest excessively, the forest was converted to a lot of plantations and agricultural areas and the occurrence of illegal forest clearing, feared loss of forest vegetation in the area. The research method used was plotted path mixed method with the laying of the purposive sampling path, the observation variable was the entire growth rate of the seedling, stake, pole, and tree levels. Based on the results of research there were 51 species of trees, 7 species of which were trees that entered into the group of Kayu Indah. Based on the results of research conducted it could be concluded that the type of dado, embun, jungkang, kayu malam and ubah were the dominant vegetation type for seedling level. Type of embun, jungkang, kayu malam, medang, nyatoh and ubah were the dominant vegetation type for stake level. Type of dado, embun, jungkang, kempas, petai, rengas and ubah were the dominant vegetation type for pole level. Type of jungkang, kayu malam, medang, ubah were the dominant tree for tree level. While the Ochiai index of kayu malam species had a negative relationship to the 3 dominant tree species, because the value of the Ochiai index was closed to 0.Keywords: Association, Dominance, Kayu Indah, Secondary Forest
