    The title of this research is "Analysis of Teacher Efforts to Manage Students in the Learning Process IPS2 Sociology Class XI". The purpose of this study was to determine and describe the efforts of teachers to motivate students in the learning process IPS2 sociology class XI. The approach used in this study is a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. The process of implementation is carried out with test instruments such as observation, interviews, and documentation.The results showed that the efforts of teachers to motivate students in the learning process of sociology in general have been implemented but have not carried out to the maximum. Constraints implementation of motivation by teachers, teacher attendance factors and methods of teaching, the student's social environment, and infrastructure are less supportive. The response of students is very worth noting that the way teachers deliver the material time in the classroom, because the volume is not loud teachers

    This study aims to know the role of interaction between students and their parents who work at SMAN 1 Mempawah. This research is conducted according to descriptive qualitative method. The technique used to collecting the data are direct observation, direct communication and documentary studies, while the instrumen are observasi, inteview and documentation. The analysis of this research presented according to descriptive qualitative by 10 participants that consisting of 2 people in each 5 families. The results showed that the interaction between students and their parents in social contact and communication are well established.     Implementing Religious Character Education by the Teacher on Sociology Learning in SMA YPK Pontianak

    This study would determine the implementation of character education of religious value by teacher in sociology learning in SMA YPK Pontianak and to find out the factors that influence the character education of religious values implementation in sociology learning in SMA YPK Pontianak. The method used in this study was descriptive method with qualitative approach. The data sources of the study were the students of grade X IIS and the sociology teacher of grade X IIS, interview and observation’s result. The results of this study showedthat the character education of religious value implementationin sociology learning involved greeting, praying before the class, the teacher implemented character education in the learning process by appreciating  diversity in religion, the teacher also taught about the religious dimensions, such individuals-to-individuals, individuals to God , individuals to environment relationships, religiousservices, praying after class. Factors that influence the implementation of the character education of religious values in SMA YPK Pontianak were the religious diversity and the inadequatefacilities of worship places

    The use of Student Team Achievement Division (STAD) in Improving Students’ IPS learning achievement of Class IX F SMP N 21 Pontianak

    This classroom action research aimed at improving learning quality and student learning achievement that are still low especially in the IPS learning process in class IX F of SMP Negeri 21 Pontianak. To overcome these problems, the cooperative method of Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) was used. After applying the Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD), the students’ IPS learning achievement in class IX F was increased. This study was conducted in two cycles of 38 students. The technique of collecting data was through observation conducted by teachers and collaborators, and data analysis was carried out in descriptive with percentage techniques. The level of student and teacher activity stated as a very good, good, or moderate category. while the success of using the Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) method was stated successfully, less successfully, or unsuccessfully.Based on the results of the research that had been done, it can be concluded as follows: 1) Student activity in the teaching and learning process was good because it had reached the specified criteria in which 81% of students were actively involved, 2) Teacher activities in learning process was very good because it reached 84%, 3) While the students’ learning achievement percentage reached 82% beyond the criteria of 75%. Thus, the use of the cooperative method of Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) succeeded in improving student learning achievement in IPS learning in class IX F of SMP Negeri 21 Pontiana

    The objective of this research was to know the effort of Paguyuban Kristen Jawi Pontianak maintain collective consciousness, religious ties and social ties. The research used descriptive method and qualitative approach. The techniques of data collection were observation, interview and the study of documentation. The research instruments were the directive of observation, directive of interview, and the documentation tools. This research showed that collective consciousness of the gemeinschaft is already. There is effort done maintain the collective consciousness as for mutually coordinate and worship priority.  This religious tie of the gemeinschaft is good enough.     This research aims to find out teacher's role in overcoming students undiscipline behavior by directing, guiding, supervising, and leading in class VIII A of Kemala Bhayangkari Middle School. The research approach used was a qualitative approach with descriptive method. Data collection techniques that were used are observation, interviews, and documentation studies. The analysis in this study was presented in a qualitative descriptive manner using 8 informants, consisting of social study teacher, information technology communication's teacher, guidance counseling's teacher, and five students who behave undiscipline in class VIII A. The result of this research indicates that the teachers have played a role in overcoming the undisciplined behavior of students in class VIII A. The role of directing is when the teacher make students accustomed to dress well and pray before or after learning. A teacher also plays a role in guiding students through providing the guidance for students who behave an undisciplined behavior. Then, the teacher also plays a role in supervising which is when a teacher controls students and provides reprimands or sanctions for students who behave in undisciplined ways. The final role of the teacher is that the teacher has a role in leading which is the teacher is a good role model for students

    The title of this research is "Student Motivation Choosing Formal Education Based on Religion in Madrasah Aliyah Raudhatul Ulum Puguk Village Sungai Ambawang District". The purpose of this research is to describe the intrinsic motivation of students in choosing Formal based religious education in Madrasah Aliyah Raudhatul Ulum Puguk Village and extrinsic motivation of students in choosing Formal-based religious education at Madrasah Aliyah Raudhatul Ulum Puguk Village. The approach methods which this research use are qualitative approach with descriptive methods. The data collection technic which this research used are observation, interviews and documentation analysis with data collection tools in from of observation guidline, interview guidline and documentation. This research result indicates that motivation formal education students vote based religion in Madrasah Aliyah Raudhatul Ulum because the thrust emerged from students (intrinsic) which includes interest and passion, ideals, and equality culture and motivation emerging from outside themselves students (extrinsic) caused the role of parents, want to get award and praise, the role of the his tutor, environmental conditions as well as economic factors their parents. Based on observations, interviews and documentation that researchers have conducted, proves that intrinsic motivation and extrinsic motivation encourage students to choose a religious based formal education in Madrasah Aliyah Raudhatul Ulum Puguk Village Sungai Ambawang District

    Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui bentuk interaksi sosial asosiatif kerja sama kelompok primer para siswa di MA Nurul Falah Desa Teluk Pakedai II Kecamatan Teluk Pakedai Kebupaten Kubu Raya. Menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif metode deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data yaitu observasi, wawancara, dan studi dokumentasi. Alat pengumpul data yaitu panduan observasi, panduan wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan interaksi sosial asosiatif terlaksana dengan baik. Dibuktikan dengan gotong-royong membersihkan lingkungan sekolah, membersihkan masjid, kegiatan pemasangan kipas angin dan membersihkan sampah.Kata Kunci: Interaksi Sosial Asosiatif, Kelompok Primer.  Abstract: This study was interseted to determine the form of social interactions associative cooperation of primary groups of students in MA Nurul Falah Village Teluk Pakedai sub District Teluk Pakedai Kubu Raya District. Using a qualitative approach descriptive method. Data collection techniques are observation, interview, and documentation study. Data collection tools are observation guides, interview guides and documentation. The results of this study showed that associative social interaction performed well. Proven with mutual assistance to clean up the school environment, clean the mosque, fan installation activities and clean up the garbage.Keywords: Learning Activities, Smokers Student, Senior High School

    PENGARUH PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF MODEL INVESTIGASI KELOMPOK TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR PENDIDIKAN KEWARGANEGARAAN

    The success of the learning process can’t be separated from the ability of teachers to apply learning models. Learning models that are often applied by classroom teachers are conventional learning models that tend to minimize student involvement. The purpose of this research is to know the influence of cooperative learning model of group investigation on student learning outcomes in the subjects of civic education in class X SMK Negeri 1 Muara Pawan Ketapang. The method used in this research is an experimental method of quantitative approach. The research design in this research is the true experimental design method, which is the pretest posttest control group design model. The population is 30 students and 1 teacher. Results of experimental class study X ATP (Plantation Crop Agribusiness) average value = 80.84. Control class X ATPH average value of learning outcomes under KKM (Criterion Minimum Completion) 75 that is = 73,34. The conclusion is the result of student learning using cooperative learning model of group investigation better than student learning result using conventional learning model

    PENGARUH PENERAPAN METODE RESITASI TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR SISWA PADA KELAS XI IPS SMA

    The purpose of this study to determine the effect of learning with the method of recitation of student learning outcomes sociology subjects class XI IPS SMA Negeri 5 Pontianak. Form of quasi experimental research (quasy experimental research). The sample of this research are 74 students, 37 students of experimental group (XI IPS 1) and 37 students of Control group (XI IPS 2). Technique of collecting data of direct observation, indirect communication, documenter study and data collection tool in the form of observation and multiple choice test in the form of pre-test and post test. The data obtained in the pre-test obtained average in experimental class 70,02 and class control 70.05. on the post-test experimental class has an average of 78.32 and the control class is 74.18. Hypothesis testing using t-test (F-Test Two-Sample Assuming Equal Variances Test) in the experiment class post-test shows the statistical value t obtained is 2.400691499 and p-value 0.009474866. by using decision based on p-value, at α = 0,05 can be concluded significant value <0,05 (0,05 <0.009474866) hence there is difference of result of post-test experiment class and control class hence Ho refused and Ha accepted. Based on the data obtained, the Alternative Hypothesis (Ha) is accepted
