Pengaruh Gaya Kepemimpinan Transformasional dan Komitmen Organisasional terhadap Prestasi Kerja Pegawai pada PDAM Tirta Khatulistiwa Pontianak
This study aims to determine how the influence of transformational leadership style and organizational commitment on job performance at PDAM Tirta Khatulistiwa Pontianak. Population in this research is employees at PDAM Tirta Khatulistiwa Pontianak Service Department as many as 120 employees and sampling research as many as 51 respondents or 43% of the population. The sampling technique uses purposive sampling. The questionnaires used for transformational leadership style variables are Multifactor Leadership Questionnaire (MLQ), for organizational commitment variables using Organizational Commitment Questionnaire (OCQ), and job performance variables using job performance questionnaires. The analytical technique used is the multiple linear regression analysis. The result of the research shows that the simultant transformational leadership style and organizational commitment have a significant effect on the job performance and partially, both the transformational leadership style and organizational commitment have a significant effect on the job performance of PDAM Tirta Khatulistiwa Pontianak
The Effect of Job Satisfaction and Organizational Commitment Towards Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB): A Case Study on Employee of Local Water Company “Tirta Mahakam” Kutai Kartanegara Indonesia
The purpose of this study was to examine the influence of job satisfaction and organizational commitment towards organizational citizenship behavior. The study was a case study on employees of local water company “Tirta Mahakam” located in Kutai Kartanegara Regency. Quality of service will always be a significant factor for organizations that focus on customer satisfaction. It is done to improve business activity and organizational performance. To have excellent quality services depends on the human resources of the organization. The organization needs human resources that are performing well. Human resources/employees who show strong OCB are believed to be able to perform better. That is why organizations need to create employees with strong OCB. This study was a causal associative study using a quantitative approach. Data were collected using a closed questionnaire with a total sample of 83 respondents, and the selection of respondents chosen using simple random sampling. The results showed that job satisfaction and organizational commitment simultaneously affected organizational citizenship. Job satisfaction partially influenced organizational citizenship behavior. Organizational commitment partly influenced organizational citizenship behavior. Job satisfaction was proven to have the most significant influence
The Impact of Investment Decision and Funding on Financial Performance and Firm Value
Managers who are responsible for the management of companies are faced with two important decisions - investment and funding. The right investment decisions and choice of funding sources are important because they affect the company's financial performance. The selection of the types of assets to be invested and the right types of financing sources result in optimal returns for the company. It reflects good company performance and future prospects. In addition, optimal return is a good sign for investors. Companies that perform well experience increase in the value of their firm. This study examined the effect of investment decisions and the selection of appropriate sources of funds on the performance of the company and the consequent impact on the firm value. The study was conducted in two parts. The first part examined the effect of investment decisions on long-term assets with long-term funding on the rate of return and firm value. The second part examined the effect of investment decisions on the company's short-term assets and funding for financial performance and firm value. The case study used in this research is a consumer goods sub-sector company listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in the period 2010 to 2017. Path analysis is the data analysis tools that was used. The results of data analysis showed that the asset structure has an effect on financial performance and firm value. The capital structure affects the financial performance but does not affect the firm value of the company. Financial performance was measured by ROI
Identifikasi Faktor-Faktor yang Mempengaruhi Sales performance pada Perusahaan Media Periklanan : Studi Empirik pada Tenaga Penjual di RCTI
This research was conducted because of the gap from the results of previous research (research gap) regarding the level of sales experience can affect sales performance and empirically examine the factors that influence sales performance such as salesperson skills, sales interaction quality and effectiveness of sales activities.The purpose of this study is to build a conceptual model to describe and provide answers to the gap between sales experience variables on sales performance, and empirically examine the factors that influence Sales performance. This study uses a population of all RCTI's marketing department workforce. This study uses the Judgment Sampling method of respondents which was determined as a study sample of 120 people. The analysis technique used in interpreting and analyzing research data is the Structural Equation Model (SEM) technique from the AMOS 20 software package. The results of hypothesis testing proved that the sales experience factor, salesperson skill, sales interaction quality and effectiveness of sales activities had a positive effect on significant sales performance. The research model can be accepted, from the results calculated by the suitability index where the chi-square value is 200,633, probability value 0.027, TLI value 0,974, CFI value 0,977, CMIN / DF 1,223 and RMSEA 0,043 all of which meet the requirements even though the GFI value is 0,880 and AGFI 0,846 can marginal accepted
Pengaruh Iklim Psikologis Terhadap Keinginan Karyawan Untuk Keluar Perusahaan Melalui Kepuasan Kerja (Studi pada PT. Hervitama Indonesia)
PT. Hervitama Indonesia which is engaged in providing instrumentation goods and installation services has a work area for electrical installation, instrumentation, construction, interior and calibration works. Service provider in the field of electrical installation by PT. Hervitama Indonesia includes the strong and weak currents installation. The purpose of this study is to test and analyze the influence of psychological climate on the desires of employees to leave the company through job satisfaction for employees of PT. Hervitama Indonesia. This research is a causality study with a quantitative approach. The sampling technique uses saturated samples with a total of 50 respondents to employees of PT. Hervitama Indonesia. The statistical analysis used in this study was PLS with the help of smartPLS 3.0 software. The results of this study explain that the psychological climate has a negative and significant effect on the desire of employees to leave the company. Psychological climate has a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction. Job satisfaction does not affect the desire of employees to leave the company. The research implications that can be applied to companies, namely the need for leaders to improve the quality and quantity in terms of support provided to employees or subordinates can be done by way of guidance to employees in doing good work. Pengaruh Kepercayaan, Efikasi diri, dan Komitmen Organisasional terhadap Berbagi Pengetahuan Karyawan di Kantor Cabang Utama PT Bank Panin Tbk Kota Pontianak
This research aims at examining and analyzing the influence of trust, self-efficacy, and organizational commitment on employees’ knowledge sharing at The Main Office of PT Bank Panin Tbk Kota Pontianak. Research method applied is causal approach survey in form of quantitative causal decription. Census technic is used to collect the primary data. A Total of 70 questionnaires were distributed among the employees. Collectively, 51 usable questionnaires were returned. Secondary data was elicited from interviewing Main Branch Office Manager and website of PT Bank Panin Tbk. Analytical technique used is path analysis. The result of the research shows that trust influences organizational commitment but does not influence employees’ knowledge sharing. Self-efficacy influences organizational commitment and employees’ knowledge sharing. Organizational commitment does not influence employees’ knowledge sharing
Studi Empiris Kekuatan Stabilitas Keuangan Perbankan Syariah di Indonesia
The study aims to examine the stability of Islamic banking in Indonesia after the global financial crisis. This study is significant, considering the rapidly growth of Islamic banking in Indonesia and uniqueness of its operating systems and products. By using secondary data from the annual reports of the banking sector listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for the period from 2013 to 2016, regression analysis with the ZSCORE function (insolvency risk) as the dependent variable and a number of predictor variables (firm-specific, macroeconomic and governance) are used as tools for achieving research objectives. To check the robustness of the research findings, a model with different specifications has been used. The results indicate that profitability and firm size have a significant influence on the insolvency risk (ZSCORE) of banks and empirical factors that influence these risks differ between Islamic banks and conventional banks
Communicated Accountability Of Charitable Organisations: The Case Of Nigeria
The aim of this study is to examine how accountability is practised by charity institutions in Nigeria.The paper employs Ebrahim’s charity accountability framework to analyse BudgIT’s website, public related documents and news. It is observed that the practice of accountability by BudgIT lays emphasis on upward accountability to donors, focused on primarily reporting basic descriptive financial and performance information. However the research is based on a content analysis of a single charity organisation and, therefore, any generalising of the conclusions beyond BudgIT may not represent the reporting behaviour of all charity institutions in Nigeria.This paper is among the few studies that investigate the reporting behaviour of charitable institutions in a developing country, thus contributing to the scanty literature on charitable accountability in Nigeria
Pengaruh Pendidikan, Pengangguran, dan Kemiskinan terhadap Ketimpangan Pendapatan di Indonesia
This research aims to analyze the effect of education, unemployment, and poverty on income inequality in Indonesia, both partially and simultaneously. This research uses secondary data with a quantitative approach. The type of research used is the type of associative research. The variables in this study are education, unemployment, poverty, and income inequality — data source from BPS and the Ministry of Education and Culture. The data analysis technique used is panel data regression analysis with cross-section 34 provinces and time series for 2015-2018. The results of the research obtained the random effect model, the best models. The results of data analysis show that education and poverty had a partial effect on income inequality in Indonesia, while unemployment had not to affect income inequality. Simultaneously, education, unemployment, and poverty affect income inequality in Indonesia. However, education, unemployment, and poverty can only explain 22.37% of the effect on income inequality in Indonesia. The rest is influenced by factors outside the model
Pengaruh Kompetensi, Komitmen Organisasional dan Employee Engagement Terhadap Kinerja Pegawai PDAM Tirta Khatulistiwa Pontianak
This study aims to analyze the models related to the influence of Competency, Organizational Commitment and Employee engagement on performance. This research is a survey research with an explanatory research type. The population in this study were employees of the Engineering Division, namely the Division of Production, Distribution and Control of Water Loss. The number of respondents was 60 employees using the proportionate random sampling method. The analysis technique used is Multiple Linear Regression. The results of multiple linear regression analysis show that competency is influential but not significant to performance. While both organizational commitment and employee engagement have a positive and significant effect on performance. Organizational commitment has the greatest influence on the performance of employees of PDAM Tirta Khatulistiwa Pontianak
