    Membentuk alumni SMK yang kompeten dan trampil perlu manajemen yang baik dan handal. Manajemen yang mengatur tentang manusia disebut MSDM. Peranan MSDM dalam suatu organisasi sangat penting. Begitu juga di SMK Negeri Binaan Provinsi Sumatra Utara sekarang ini membutuhkan Manejemen yang kompeten untuk menhasilkan alumni SMK yang kompeten dan trampil serta berdaya saing mampu mengisi kebutuhan industri. Dengan waktu selama dua bulan,  dikelas X pada dua jurusan yang berbeda, jurusan Mesin dan Teknik Kenderaan Ringan melalui penerapan 5 nilai budaya (jujur, disiplin,tanggung jawab ,kerjasama dan peduli) hasil yang diperoleh sangat positif dan signifikan mencapai peningkatan sampai 50 persen dan dapat dijadikan rujukan  untuk pegembangan untuk kelas yang lainnya. Pada nilai disiplin, tanggung jawab dan kerjasama sangat menonjol terlihat jelas setelah minggu ke tiga, dan diikuti oleh nilai peduli dan jujur di minggu ke-4, dan seterusnya. kerjasama  guru selaku pendidik dan pengajar bidang study memiliki peranan penting dalam menunjang percepatan perubahan di setiap waktu

    Based on development, the enterprise often gets problem in stock of goods, because has not planning for sales and stock of goodsfor the future accuratelly.Method which be used to determine the quantity of sales for the future is “least Square Line Method†because this method is more significance to the result that be hoped and there is also the past data quantitatively. Stock of goods are determined from the quantity of sales for the future with economic order quantity = EOQ.Based on the result of the research that has been done, where the goods that will be are television and refrigerator with the long one month. Increasing of Total sales for TV = 28.7 %.  EOQ of TV = 18 units/ order and is performed 1 (one) time is week. Increasing of Total sales for refrigerator = 32.2 %.  EOQ of refrigerator = 16 units/ order and is performed 1 (one) time is week

    Research was conducted at the training center bulding projec RI BPK Representative in Medan, North Sumatera, where the purpose of this research is to create a complex framework of activities based on project completion time and human resources available for job creation building structures manager. The framewwork presented in the form of work flow diagram (Network Diagram). From the data obtainned by the completion of the project structure has been estimated tim required to finish the job thus structure with the critical path method (Critical Path Method – CPM). After the calculation of forward and backward calculation is obtained : fastest tim starting and completion activities, no later than beginning and completion of, the lenght of the interval delay /postponement of activities. With the CPM method, completion building structure mnagement training center of RI BPK representative of North Sumatera Province is known than the sum of time critical activities. These critical activities each time interval did not have to delay the implementation of activities. The activities that are on the critical path is the activity with the notation : A-C-E-F-I-L-MQ-U-V-W-X-Y-Z-AA-AC-AD gained 4+9+6+6+1+3+6+1+1+6+1+6+6+1+6+1 = 64 days

    CV Putra Darma is a company engaged in the export industry of Arabica coffee. The process of coffee bean sorting is one of the production activities that consist in this industry. However, this action is still manually and un-ergonomic which still use the floor as a working medium. This facility may result the Musculoskeletal Disorders (MSDs) to the workers, particularly in the waist, legs, thighs, back, and neck. This study aims to design an ergonomic facility in coffee bean sorting process to avoid the MSDs, and that is work desk and work chair. At first step, the Standard Nordic Questionnaire was used to identify any MSDs from the workers, then to evaluate the actual condition of working posture, REBA method was employed in this study. The next step is to design this facility that is work desks and work chairs according to anthropometric data as much as 30 workers

The purpose of this study is to determine the amount of GM-1C feed production from the forecasting of the number of sales of animal feed products of the previous type. And to plan raw material inventory for production of GM-1C animal feed with Material Requirement Planning method. Forecasting is a process to estimate the level of some future needs that include the needs in quantity size, quality, time and location required in order to meet the demand for goods or services. Material Requirement Planning is a logical procedure, decision rule and computerized records engineering designed to translate master production schedules or MPS (Master Production Scheduling) into Net Requirements for all items or components. From good sales data forecasting method is cyclical method because it has the smallest SEE value. So it can be estimated sales of the last 10 days in October 2017 as much as 70782, 70143, 69266, 68210, 67049, 65860, 64725, 63720, 62915 and 62365.     This study aims to determine the level of customer satisfaction to service quality of the Regional Water Company Branch Padang Bulan. The research method used in this research is quantitative descriptive with a population of Branch PDAM Tirtanadi Padang Bulan customers. The sample in this study of 100 respondents who were taken to area probability sampling technique. Data taken with the questionnaire and interview, while data analysis is descriptive percentages. The results showed that overall levels of customer satisfaction to service quality, including both the amount of 63.66%, which means that customers are satisfied with the service that has been provided by PDAM Tirtanadi Branch Padang Bulan. Elements of customer satisfaction to service quality which is in poor category there are 7 of Serviceability, service procedures, disciplinary care workers, care workers responsibility, fairness, service costs, and assurance of service schedules. While elements in both categories there are S of product quality, service requirements, clarity of service personnel, capability of the service, speed of service, justice get service, politeness and friendliness of staff cost certainty and convenience services environment

    Implementation of the supply chain is felt more important and very useful in today’s era  of industrialization. But in the process of supply chain encountered  various  risks that may affect the flow of the supply chain so it can not run smoothly, such as interference or imperfectness  in transportations. This research  was made to propose a mathematical model for a supply chain under the effect of unexpected disruptions  in transport. Supplier/manufacturer offers the retailer  a trade credit period t1 , then the retailer offers the customer a credit with a period of t2  and finally the retailer receives the revenue from t2  ke T + t2 , where T is the cycle time at the retailer.  Under this situation,  the three cases such as T ≤ t1 ≤ T + t2 , T ≤ T + t1 ≤ t2, and  t1  ≤ t2 are discussed. An EPQ (Economic Production Quantity) based model is established and retailer’s optimal replenishment policy is obtained through mathematical theorems. From the results of testing on several cases, the best solution for the two procedures has been obtained, namely between risk neutral and risk averse solutions based on the level or number of items damaged/defective. If the number of items damaged is 2 units, then solution risk neutral is far better than the risk averse solution, whereas if the number of items is damaged 3 units, then the risk averse solution is far better than the risk neutral solution.Â

    UD. Akbar Jaya is a company engaged in the bakery industry. In carrying out a production UD. Akbar Jaya often has problems with product incompatibility with the number of requests and use of resources that have not been optimal. This is considered a waste by the company, the reason is that production planning is not optimal. With this problem, optimal production planning is needed. The de novo programming method is used to obtain optimal solutions in planning production and to obtain maximum benefits. In this study production optimization has one goal, namely, maximizing profits, with existing constraints such as constraints in the availability of raw materials, budget constraints, constraints of production capacity, and constraints of demand. The results of this study indicate the optimal amount of production that must be produced by UD. Akbar Jaya and the benefits obtained for 12 periods are as many as 14985 bread products, 9969 chocolate bread products, 4128 cappucino bread products, 1151 strawberry bread products, and the maximum profit the company gets is Rp. 7,558,25

    Geliat industri perkapalan nasional dalam lima tahun terakhir mulai dirasakan seiring terus bertambahnya armada kapal berbendera lokal yang beroperasi di perairan Tanah Air. Dengan pesatnya pertumbuhan industri galangan kapal di Indonesia, perlu diperhatikan dari aspek keselamatan kerja yang dimana dalam kegiatan kerja yang dilakukan seringkali berhadapan dengan kondisi kerja yang berisiko. Untuk menganalisis bahaya terhadap risiko K3 dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment  (HIRA) dan Hazard Analysis and Operability Study (HAZOP) dengan tujuan untuk mengidentifikasi, memberikan penilaian dan mengatasi faktor-faktor resiko K3. Berdasarkan hasil observasi dan wawancara terdapat 34 potensi bahaya kemudian digolongkan berdasarkan jenis sumbernya menjadi 8 variabel risiko. Terdapat 4 tingkatan risiko kecelakaan kerja dari sumber hazard yang didapat dari hasil penilaian matriks risiko. Dari hasil pemetaan risiko, diperoleh 9 risiko dalam kategori Extreme (E), 6 risiko masuk dalam kategori High (H), 12 risiko masuk dalam kategori Moderate (M), dan sisanya sebanyak 7 risiko masuk dalam kategori Low (L). Pengendalian dari semua bahaya Kecelakaan Kerja menurut tingkat risiko di lakukan dengan adanya kebijakan K3, pelatihan / penyuluhan K3, dilakukan audit secara rutin dan terjadwal, melakukan pengadaan dengan terjadwal, pemeliharaan alat secara rutin, penerapan SOP dan metode pelaksanaan akan menurunkan tingkat risiko kecelakaan kerja
