MENINGKATKAN PROSES DAN HASIL PRAKTIKUM FISIOLOGI HEWAN DENGAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN INVESTIGASI KELOMPOK
Abstract: A problematic in Laboratory work of Animal Physiology course notice that students do not know what exactly they do in laboratory work. Classroom Action Reseach is aimed to improve process and Animal Physiology Laboratory work’s result using cooperative learning of Group Investigation Model. Indicator of achievement is based on the improvement of quality of the process and laboratory work’s result. Cycle I is accomplished in 7 meetings, while cycle II in 8 meetings. It achieves a progression in quality of the process and laboratory work’s result in (1) describing laboratory work procedure 25%, (2) laboratory work’s of each aspect 22,5%, (3) grade of laboratory work’s report 14,8%, (4) increasing of report presentation 16%, and (5) written test is increased 3,5%
PENANGGULANGAN LIMBAH CAIR TAHU BERBASIS PENDIDIKAN MASYARAKAT
Abstract:The tofu industries are done with a simple technology and prosesing of waste are not maximized. The producers usually proceeds industrial waste directly into the river and some even throwwithout processing the waste. The tofu industrial waste consist of two types, that is liquid and solidwastes. Liquid waste is the largest and potentially polluting the environment. Tofu wastewaters composed mostly of organic waste with high COD values that will decrease the solute oxygen in the water.That causes the unpleasant smell that can disturb communities in term of aesthetics and health. Considering the tofu industries as small scale industries, then it requires the installation of simple equipmentof waste processing, low operating costs, economic values, and friendly environment. Already manyresearch being done to overcome tofu wastewaters pollution, community education is needed to find themost apropriate method as well as to build community awareness of the importance of maintaining theenvironment
Peranan Perangkat Pembelajaran Berbasis Inkuiri dengan Strategi Kooperatif terhadap Perkembangan Keterampilan Berpikir Kritis
Abstract: Biology courses in senior high school can play an important role in the effort to improve the student critical thinking skill. This study has been carried out to develope the instructional sets called PPBI and to evaluate its implementation effects on the critical thinking skill of the tenth grade student. The PPBI was developed according to the Dick & Carey model’s. The quasi experimental research was conducted as a factorial design and the data analysed using Anacova. The results show that student who learn using PPBI obtained better scores on critical thinking skills, student who learn through STAD cooperative strategy has higher scores of critical thinking skill than the TGTs student, and there were no significant effects of the interaction of the instructional sets with the type of cooperative strategies on student critical thinking skills. In conclusion, the implementation of PPBI gave significant contribution to the developement of student critical thinking skills
PEMANFAATAN BANTARAN SUNGAI OLEH MASYARAKAT DAN KESEHATAN LINGKUNGAN
Abstract: A survey of research has been conducted on the Karang Mumus river banks community in Samarinda city. Many residential areas and poor environmental management along the river. The purpose of the study to determine the society perception of the utilization of the river banks and improvement efforts based on environmental health education. Sample soft he research are communities along the river. Data analysis using descriptive analysis (percentage).The results showed that 88% of respondents residing along the river, with the reasons for easy bathing, washing, and toilet, there fore community needs to berelocated; for now, need improvement based on environmental health education. Similar researchs in the future needs to be done to determine the condition of the river banks and water bodies

Abstract: This research had been carried out to investigate the influence of learning strategy of Peer Mediated Instruction and Intervention through the type of Reverse Role Tutoring, on the critical thinking ability and cognitive biology. The research design used was quasi experiment at Pretest and Postest Nonequivalent Control Group Design, using one class each of control and experiment. Research the conclusions are the Learning Strategy used has great influence on the critical thinking ability as well as on the cognitive achievement in biology

Abstract: The learning of science in Indonesia is always involving the verbal learning of concepts and principles of science. Such learning leads the students to only acknowledge science terms based on memorizing, but without recognizing the significance. A better learning must be a learning which sharpens and develops the higher level of thinking ability, one such ability is critical thinking ability. Learning by conventional methods such as speech, discussion and inquiry does not sharpen critical thinking ability. Taking the problem into account, the solution is using learning models to sharpen the critical thinking ability of students. One such model is problem-based practicum model. This model involves students who will actively, use all their senses, optimize their ability of thinking and explore the fact in the actual reality by lifting the authentic problem
MODEL PEMBELAJARAN MANDIRI BERBANTUAN WEB PADA MASYARAKAT PESISIR BARAT LAMPUNGDALAM KONSERVASI LINGKUNGAN
Abstract: Active community participation in environmental conservation west coast of Lampung is needed in the rehabilitation of physical and biological damage that occurred in the coastal region. Education is seen as one of the absolute requirement for participation. Conservation education model for the west coast of Lampung with web-based self-learning can encourage community participation in the conservation and rehabilitation of coastal forests in coastal areas. This model is designed as a form of non-formal education for the adult with a car utilizing conservation. Learning is packaged in an interactive and engaging, self-learning community can do without being bound by time and place. Increased knowledge, skills and abilities as well as the participation of individuals, groups and communities through web-based self-directed learning for coastal communities is largely determined by the control functions of the management of conservation educator

MEMBERI TAULADAN SEBAGAI ALTERNATIF PENDIDIKAN INFORMAL
Abstract: Kenjeran coastal area is the favourite site visited in East Java. It is dangerous condition because of the pollutant. The level of pollution is quite severe, such as the damage of mangrove ecosystem, coral reef, and abrasion. The main factor of damage is the local people’s behavior. The behavior of coastal communities is low, such as: (1) habit of throwing garbage by home industry, (2) bowel movement into the sea, (3) throwing of liquid waste into the sea, and (4) the exploitation of marine resources. Factors influencing those behaviors due to the low level of: (1) knowledge, (2) Negative attitude, (3) Awareness and motivation keep the environment.Some efforts need to be done to change those behaviors by informal, non-formal, and formal education. PENERAPAN GROUP INVESTIGASI BERBANTU MIND MAP MELALUI LESSON STUDY BIOLOGI
Abstract: Application of Group Investigation (GI) used mind map-based on Lesson Study can be improve attitude, and mastery the concept of class C biology student education at the University of Muhammadiyah Malang in Biology General Course. The type of this research is action research conducted collaboratively through Lesson Study activities. The results of this research showed that: (1) The application of mind map-based GI-assisted LS can’t improve student attitudes in biology class as seen from the increased in students who like biology students from 9 to 9 students, decreasing the number of students who casual/neutral act on the biology of 29 to 26 students and the increasing number of students who didn’t like biology lessons from 1 to 4 students (2) Utilization of GI -assisted LS-based on mind mapping can increase student mastery of biological concepts especially class C UMM, seen from the increasing percentage of success in the classical study of 66.1% in the first cycle to 74.4% in the second cycle
