    Abstract: Based on the data, 30% of Indonesian is children. A quarter of their times are spent in school than in their house. Almost 98% children buy snacks around the school. The research’ result of BPOM (2010) showed about 44% snacks which they buy are not health. These snacks contain hazardous materials such as, boraks, formalin, rodhamin A, and rodhamin B. This issue is a classic problem which requires role of various parties to reduce the presentation of bad impact to the children. Teacher, student, parents, government, and the society need to be empoweredin order toprevent thedanger ofdisease which is caused by the snacks in school.     Abstract: Limboto Lake at Gorontalo had undergone degradation due to sedimentation, eutrophication, pollution and occupation of lake area by the people in 1932 the lake was 7000 Ha as well as had the depth of 30 m. In 2002 the lake was only 3.000 Ha in 2 m depth of wet season and in 1,5 m depth at dry season. During 1972-2002 the depreciation rate was 50 ha/yr, as well as the sedimentation rate from 1,5 to 50 cm/yr, as a result of silting up at every wet season. Rain efforts would be done are conservation related to any cause of the silting up. The conservation activities  must be carried out a comprehensively by cooperation of all boards related like local and central governments, local people as well as universities

    Abstract: Ethnobotany is a field of science studying the interaction of society with the environment, especially plants, documenting, describing and explaining the complex relationship between culture and plant utilization. The main focus of ethnobotany study are plants used, managed, as well as utilized by the people. Efforts for the management and sustainable utilization of plant, can be done through ethnobotany learning. Right now ethnobotany is not taught yet in Primary Schools, because not formally included in the curriculum. Implementation of ethnobotany formal learning can be integrated the subject is in teaching science through an integrated thematic approach

    Abstract: The developmental research provides invaluable experience, that is, the production of learning materials which were optimal in making the students learn by inquiring, increasing the teachers’ motivation to conduct the instruction, and eventually increasing the students’ achievement. The result of the experiment showed that: (1) there was a difference in students’ achievement between students taught with inquiry strategies and those taught using conventional strategy; (2) there was a difference in students’ achievement between the students of high level of academic ability and those of low academic ability level; and (3) there was an interaction effect between learning strategies and students’ academic ability toward their achievement

    Abstrack: National Parks and Lolobata Aketajawe a protected area that combines two separate core area(Group of Protection Forest and Forest Group Aketajawe Lolobata). This area is an option for tribalcommunities can continue to run Togutil to their traditional way of life by keeping the values of localwisdom to preserve the forest and bird species endemic to Halmahera. Shape preservation conservationby tribal communities togutil challenged by destroying forests around the area and capture endemic birdspecies for personal gain, even some tribes have lost togutil values of local wisdom that has been preserved. The results showed that togutil tribes that live in the park Aketajawe Lolobata generations of eachgeneration continues to maintain the values of local wisdom for conservation of forests and endemic  birdsof Halmahera.Keywords:indigenous, tribaltogutil, destruction of forests, endemic bird
