PELAKSANAAN PEMBELAJARAN PENGELOLAAN SAMPAH DAN PENERAPANNYA DALAM KEHIDUPAN SEHARI-HARI
Abstract: The research had been conducted in order to look into learning implementation related to waste management at senior high schools in Tulungagung as well as to uncover the collection among learning implementation knowledge and its application in daily life. The research data had been collected by observation, interview as well as by questionnaire. Data analysis indicated that learning implementation related to waste management, learning materials development, learning methods implemented and students knowledge related to waste were not so good yet. Knowledges of waste management were not also applied yet by the studentsin their daily life. Based on the correlation analysis it had been uncovered thet there were significant correlation between learning implementation and student knowledge (R2 = 41,9%) as well as between learning implementation and its application (R2 = 38,5%). On the other hand, there was no correlation between student knowledge and its application
MODEL GROUP INVESTIGATION BERPENDEKATAN PROBLEM BASED LEARNING DAN HASIL BELAJAR BIOLOGI
Abstract:This research aimed to increasescientific attitude and learningoutcomes students’ class X-6SMA Negeri 1, Banyuwangi in learning Biology through the application model of Group Investigation (GI)with Problem Based Learning (PBL). Classroom Action Research (CAR) is done with a qualitativeapproach. CAR was conducted in two cycles. The results showed that the percentage of studentsachieving the scientific attitude indicator tends to increase in the mean percentage of students scientificworking skills in the first cycle (68.25) into cycles II (74.25). The mean students’ results of studyingbiology also increased between the first cycle (63.7) and cycle II (90.28). Percentage completenessbiology student learning outcomes also tend to have increased on the first cycle (30%) and cycle II(97.5%)
Pengaruh Pembelajaran Inkuiri dan Kooperatif terhadap Hasil Belajar Kognitif Biologi pada Siswa SMA Berkemampuan Atas dan Bawah
Abstract: The infuence of inquiry and cooperative teaching on the biology cognitive achievement of high and low ability student of Senior High School. The purpose of this research is to know the influence of biology teaching through inquiry integrated with cooperative towards the students cognitive achievement. This research addresses the role of inquiry and cooperative learning strategy as well as these interactions towards the increase of the cognitive achievement. Quasi experimental research of Pretest-postest nonequivalent control group design with factorial design 2x2x2 were implemented on the odd semester in academic years of 2006/2007 on X grade student of the state SMA in Metro City Lampung. The research sample consists of 96 students, comprising of student from high and low academic abilities. To examine hypothesis, it is used Anacova technique and continued by LSD test. There was a difference on the cognitive achievement between students who learn by inquiry level 1 with student who learn by inquiry level 2, between students who learn by STAD cooperative with student who learn by TPS, and between students who have high academic ability and students who have low academic ability. PENDIDIKAN SEBAYA TENTANG PERILAKU HIDUP SEHAT MENCEGAH SKABIES DI PONDOK PESANTREN
Abstract: Scabies are ubiquitous, contagious, and debilitating parasitic dermatoses. The highest prevalence scabies was common in boarding school. One of boarding school in Malang, Nurul Ulum approximately 50% students have infection scabies. Scabies were caused by personal hygiene, environment sanitation, population croded, and behaviour healty lives. Scabies do not attractmuch clinical attention, but can cause significant morbidity. So that prevention scabies much better than treatment. The prevention scabies with behaviour healty lives must do. Alternatives strategic approach to increase aware behaviour healty lives to decrease prevalensi scabies are peer education to sosialitation prevention scabies. The effective peer education for development knowledge, attitude and behavior person and a group person was proved to decrease diseases.
MEMPELAJARI JARINGAN TUMBUHAN DENGAN GUIDED DISCOVERY LEARNING DENGAN INDEX CARD MATCH
Abstract: This study aims to determine the effectiveness of Guided Discovery Learn with index cards match, at the learning of the structure and function of plant tissue in SMP N 1 Winong Pati. Experimental study using a pretest and posttest control group design, sampling technique with cluster random sampling. The deviation of posttest-pretest in the experimental and control class is 31 and 23.6; The results of t-test 3.17 and ttable is 1.67 with a = 0.05 level. The student’s activities of experiment class 81% differed significantly from the control class 62.25%. The teachers and students responded positively to the use of the learning strategy. Abstract:Tangkoko Nature Reserve is one of protected forest region located in Bitung, North Sulawesi.Forest Preserve Tangkoko act to protect/conserve animals that inhabit such as wild boar, black monkeys, various species of birds and so forth as endangered species. In this area there are endemic animalssuch as Tarsius spectrum (tangkasi), Macaca nigra (black monkey) Ailurops ursinus (kus-kus) andCiltura cyanotis(king prawns). The existence of endemic animals and some woody species typical ofNorth Sulawesi has made Tangkoko Nature Reserve as a tourist attraction and the object of study isquite famous in the world. Tangkoko Nature Reserve recently began threatened because of the settlement widening, therefore, an effort to make people aware of Tangkoko nature reserve conservation isneeded through community education
UPAYA PENANGGULANGAN PENYAKIT FLU BURUNG BERBASIS SEKOLAH
Abstract: Avian influenza is a threat to avian and human beings health. This disease is caused by avian influenza virus type A of Orthomyxoviridae family known as H5N1 virus. The death rate caused by this disease in Indonesia (82.07%) is the highest of all other countries. Education is predicted as an effective alternative for overcoming this problem. Since the majority of the cases were experienced by children, it is necessary that school-based program useful for building children’s awareness toward these disease be developed. One of the ways-out is to integrate avian influenza materials in certain course materials designed to attain certain basic competency.
PRAKTIK PENGALAMAN LAPANGAN BERBASIS LESSON STUDY: PELAKSANAAN DAN MANFAATNYA BAGI MAHASISWA CALON GURU BIOLOGI
Abstract: This study aims to describe the implementation of the lesson study-based Teaching Practice(LSbTP) in the subjects of Biology at SMA BSS Malang, and its benefits to prospective student teachers.The study was conducted through field surveys, analysis of the answers to the questionnaire and thestudents’ lesson study report. The results show that LS activity went well, learning models designedcollaboratively motivate students to participate actively in learning. The benefits of the implementationof LSbTP for prospective student teachers are: 1) increased knowledge about the LS, 2) increasedknowledge and skills to design quality learning, 3) increased knowledge on innovative learning, 4)increased mastery of the learning material, 5) increased of the pedagogical ability gradually, 6) increased motivation to always develop competence

EDUKASI MASYARAKAT UNTUK MENGATASI MASALAH EKSPLOITASI GUMUK
Abstract:Gumuk is a hill containing rocks, sand and soil. Gumuk serve as wind breaker, supporting localclimate, water resources, and habitats various animals and vegetation. Existence of gumuk threatenedbymining rock and sand conducted by the community. The purpose of this study was to construct steps toeducate community in the preservation of gumuk. The method of this research done with interviews,field observations and secondary data retrieval. The data obtained were analyzed using descriptivequalitative. The results showed that the community does not know the potential of gumuk that couldbe developed to improve their economies while maintaining sustainability. Steps education and developing the potential of gumuk conducted with community-based so the community get economic profitdirectly.Keywords:education, exploitation, gumuk, jembe
