    Traditional Dayah Education in Aceh in the Perspective of Perennialist Philosophy

    This study aims to analyze the existence of education in dayah in terms of perennialist philosophy. The problem that will be studied is the existence of the dayah education system and its relationship with the concept of perennialist philosophy. The research methodology is library research with a descriptive analysis approach. The findings of this study are: First: the curriculum in Aceh's dayahs has led to the refinement of a more modernist curriculum; many Islamic boarding schools in Aceh have integrated the general curriculum into the Islamic boarding school (dayah) curriculum so that there is a balance between public and religious education, even though religious education dominates the implementation curriculum. Second: learning methods, dayahs, have modernized learning methods, such as attending skills and art classes, entrepreneurial learning, financial management, etc. Third, dayahs have prepared students to face the world of industrialization and the needs of the world of work. Fourth, traditional dayahs still preserve the old culture and continue to present new things that are modernist to answer the challenges of the globalization era

    This research was conducted to describe in an actual and informative manner the religious awareness and social harmony of the Dieng Plateau community, in the mind of the turmoil of identity and issues of religious and cultural relations which at any time there are parties who impose it as an endless conflict. This article explains the study of religion and a culture that builds social awareness and harmony in the Dieng Plateau community in respecting plurality and diversity. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. Data collection techniques using interviews, documentation and observation. Meanwhile, data analysis used flow stages: 1) data reduction, 2) data display, 3) conclusion verification. This study concludes that religious awareness and social harmony are a way of life and not just religious expressions of the Dieng Plateau community. Religious awareness and social harmony provide insight into a society that maintains a balanced relationship between religion and culture as a guardian and preservation of the values of Islamic cosmopolitanism. This confirms that religious awareness and social harmony are attitudes and behaviors to create Islamic cosmopolitanism towards people of other religions and in a pluralistic society

    This article aimed to offer another side of the discussion concerning digital religion commonly understood as an interaction between technological users and religious phenomena on the screen or electronic devices, Digital Religion served as an interdisciplinary subject inviting multiple perspectives to reveal a more profound and comprehensive view regarding religious communities, expressions, and symbols in the digital world. This research was conducted as a literature review combining and analyzing massive lists of reputable references related to the topic. In addition, this research also utilized a content analysis method to summarize crucial ideas and information needed by the study. This paper concluded that Digital Religion emphasized the interaction between technology users and religious expressions in the digital world assisted by internet access. These interactions gave birth to new religious views, systems, and symbols different from conventional religious discourse. Moreover, it is apparent that Digital Religion was able to attract other branches of science to work together responding to issues, realizing it as an interdisciplinary study

    The purpose of this study was aimed to determine the application of learning using Micro Teaching program to the final students of Nurul Islam Islamic Boarding School, Aceh. This program was conducted there. Beside, this study focused on investigating the success assessment of Micro Teaching program with the supporting factors. By applying Micro Teaching program in learning, the students are able to be active and skillful as final students in the Islamic Boarding School. This program had been conducted by concept-planning based which includes the understanding of the Micro Teaching purpose itself, especially at the Islamic Boarding School. Specifically, this program had objectives, such as for increasing the students competence in teaching and also measuring their competence in understanding material contained in each core discussion. In this study, the observation, interview and document analysis methods were carried out for collecting the data. In addition, the readability test was also conducted in accordance with the expected audio target and the end of this activity was an assessment using description of the completeness of learning during class

    In this study, the author explains how the relationship between science and religion from a fiqh expert, philosopher, and Sufi, namely Imam Al-Ghazali, is of course very important to study. The urgency or purpose of this discussion is to study the division of knowledge according to Al-Ghazali and see the spiritual development of an Imam Al-Ghazali. This paper is expected to make it easier for readers related to science and religion according to Imam Al-Ghazali and a bridge to understand the relationship between science, knowledge and religion according to Imam Al-Ghazali. The research used in this study is a literature study (liberary research) with a descriptive qualitative approach. The result of this discussion is that al-Ghazali's spiritual development is divided into three, namely before uzlah, during uzlah, and after uzlah. In his thinking al-Ghazali did not distinguish between knowledge and knowledge, both are the same. Therefore, al-Ghazali's concept is personal that the relationship between creator and creature is never united, only the closeness of creature and creator through piety. Al-Ghazali's religion and science are both objects that can be studied or studied and do not conflict with each other

    The purpose of this study was to find out how to organize classes during online learning during the covid-19 pandemic, and to find out what the inhibiting and supporting factors were at MI Assegaf Palembang. This study uses qualitative research methods, using a descriptive approach. Data collection techniques in this study through observation, interviews, and documentation. Informants in this study were principals as key informants, education staff, and teachers as supporting informants. The data analysis used in this research is data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The result of this study is that classroom organization during online learning during the pandemic has been going well, according to indicators that support the course of classroom organization, namely, curriculum, teachers, students, facilities, and media. The results of these indicators are 1) curriculum, which is very supportive of the course of the class organization; 2) teachers, that is, almost all of the teacher's tasks at the time of class organization have gone well; 3) students, namely in terms of class organization, students have carried out their duties appropriately; 4) facilities, namely in online learning, the facilities used are by the process; 5) media, namely the online learning process using WhatsApp media more often. The supporting factors are facilities owned by students such as cellphones, laptops, and internet access. The inhibiting factor is that some students still don't have cellphones and some parents still don't understand using cellphones for online learning

    This article is a study on Women's Education and Class Segregation which is studied from the perspective of Rahmah el-Yûnusiyah This study aims to review one of the characteristics of the concept of education initiated by Rahmah el-Yûnusiyah, namely class separation. Rahmah believes that women need a separate education model that is separate from men because there are many issues about women that cannot be explained properly if there are men in one room. As a result, women do not understand deeply about themselves. This research is a literature study. Descriptive analysis is used in this study in order to get a complete picture and avoid subjective views. Data collection is carried out systematically according to existing procedures. The results obtained from this study reveal that class separation can be an option method that can be used so that the delivery of material about women can be explained more openly and in detail without feeling awkward because there is no opposite sex in one room. This will strengthen women's understanding of the material about women, namely about themselves, so that women can act, respond, and solve their own problems without any doubts in every action they take

    This article discusses the andragogy approach process carried out by the presenter Ustadz when filling out the recitation of socialite mothers who are active in the Taklim Amanah Council and the Taklim Hidayatullah Council, Langsa City, the obstacles when filling out the recitation, and the implications for their social and religious activities in Langsa City. The number of taklim assemblies recorded in the list of recapitulation of the Office of Islamic Shari'a and Dayah Education in Langsa City is 195 taklim assemblies. Officially, these two taklim assemblies have not been included in the list compiled by the Office of the Office of Islamic Shari'a and Dayah Education in Langsa City. However, the recitation activities of the two taklim councils are quite unique. In addition, the congregation is dominated by socialite mothers with a variety of religious materials and full social activities in a week. After carrying out the process of gathering information through in-depth interviews with Ustadz at the Amanah and Hidayatullah Taklim Council and through observation of assistance and participants, this study found that the andragogy approach process in these two taklim assemblies was very special, namely using a dialogical approach, psychological, and religious as contained in the concepts and principles of the andragogy approach. So that the implication in social and religious activities is that the socialites of Langsa City are able to provide positive benefits for people's lives

    In the study of this discussion, the author explains the history of the development and codification of hadith from the time of the prophet, the companions and the tabi’in. things like this are certainly very important and basic before studying more broadly about hadith. The urgency of the purpose of this discussion is to study the history of hadith from time to time. This paper is expected to be an entry point in studying other hadith sciences, both in terms of their distribution, as seen from the number of narrators of their quality. The type of research method used in this research is a study of literature or literature with a descriptive qualitative approach. The result of this discussion is the development of hadith at this time, the Muslim community still does not understand hadith or write hadith. At this time the prophet always emphasized to his companions to understand the hadith and convey it to Muslims. The companies themselves are considered to have received a lot of hadith and some are also few due to factors of residence, area, age and so on. One of the greatest policies of the prophet regarding the maintenance of both of them was to command the companions to memorize and write the Qur’an, and officially appointed a revelation writer who was in charge of recording every verse of the Qur’an that was revealed under the direct instructions of the Prophet SAW. Many of the property's traditions, so the tabi’in, who are the companions’ disciples, also collect a lot of the prophet’s hadiths and even this collection is arranged in an orderly manner. The method used by the tabi’in in collecting and recording hadith is through meetings (al-talaqqi) with their friends and then the record what they get from the meeting

    Memahami Kembali Konsep khilāfah dalam Sejarah Global

    This article examines the positioning of the concept of khilāfah in the context of global history. It must be admitted that this concept received a negative response from various groups, especially scholars and governments, which did not allow the power of Islam to emerge ideologically on the global stage. Therefore, various results of geopolitical analysis always assume that the concept of khilāfah is a concept that has a negative impact on the global order. However, as explained in this article, the concept of khilāfah has a very strong theological dimension in Islamic teachings. Therefore, the more it is shunned from being used as an Islamic political force, the stronger the desire of some Muslims to use this concept as an argument and pretext in their system of struggle. Through a bibliographic survey, this article finds that the problem of war or violence in the name of religion is not only triggered by the concept of khilāfah but there are other problems that arise socio-historically and socio-politically, in Muslim countries, where interests Western countries, also play a significant role geopolitically and geo-strategic, in the contestation
