Multimedia Flipbook Development Using the Hannafin and Peck Model in IPAS Learning at MIS Terpadu Langsa
Students have a significant affinity with digital technology. Therefore, teachers are required to have basic skills in designing and packaging learning that utilizes digital technology to attract and motivate students. This study aims to develop multimedia flipbooks with the Hannafin and Peck model, test the feasibility of the media, and analyze teacher responses and student responses. This research uses the Research and Development (R&D) method with the Hannafin and Peck development model which consists of three phases, namely: (1) needs analysis (analysis); (2) design (design); (3) development (development), implementation (implementation). In the Hannafin and Peck model, all phases involve a process of evaluation and revision. The research subjects were digital fifth grade students of MIS Terpadu Langsa. The results showed that the feasibility of the media can be seen from the average results of validation from the six validators. Material expert validation 94.6% (Very Feasible), media expert validation 95.3% (Very Feasible), language expert validation 82.65% (Very Feasible). Thus it can be concluded that multimedia flipbooks using the Hannafin and Peck model are suitable for use in the learning process for digital fifth grade students of MIS Terpadu Langsa
The Controversy of Siyahi Marriage: A Maqasid Shariah Perspective and Its Relevance in Indonesia
The phenomenon of Nikah Siyahi, or temporary marriage during travel, has become a controversial topic in Islamic law. This practice is often carried out by Muslim travelers to enjoy sexual relations without violating religious principles. However, scholars have diverse opinions regarding Nikah Siyahi. Some endorse it as an alternative to avoiding zina (fornication), while others reject it for undermining fundamental values of marriage, such as commitment and purity. This study aims to explore Islamic legal perspectives on Nikah Siyahi and analyze the impacts of this practice through the lens of Maqasid Shariah, which are the primary principles of Islamic law intended to protect religion, life, lineage, property, and intellect. The research employs a library research method to gather views from various literatures on Islamic law. Although it may formally meet the requirements of Islamic marriage, Nikah Siyahi fundamentally contradicts the ideal objectives of marriage in Islam. From the perspective of Maqasid Shariah, this practice can have negative repercussions on the dignity of religion, mental health, family stability, and the rights of offspring. In Indonesia, where marriage law is clearly regulated, this practice brings more harm than benefit. Therefore, the enforcement of law and community education regarding the essence of marriage in Islam must be strengthened to protect fundamental values of Sharia

The Reformation Era in Indonesia: Santri's Polarization and the Developmental Dynamics of Pesantren
Since the fall of Suharto's regime in 1998, Indonesia has entered a new era of democracy dubbed the Reformation era. Religious ideology grew throughout this period, both locally and as a result of globalization. As a result, the polarization of students can no longer be read through classical or conventional typologies. The classic typology of students in the style of Clifford Geertz, followed by Yon Machmudi and Ahmad Najib Burhani's typology of students, also needs to represent the reality of students in the reform era fully. So, the literature study supported by interview data offers a new typology of santri divided into four forms, namely ideological, sociological, academic, and political santri. These four typologies color students’ polarization and impact the dynamics of Islamic boarding schools in Indonesia. However, this polarization in many cases experienced a "mess of polarization", so it was difficult to read the direction of the dynamics of Islamic boarding schools in Indonesia during the reform era except with high monitoring intensity. Generally, the dynamics of the rapid trend are split into two big poles, moderatism and fundamentalism or radicalism, but they are still very flexible

What Neo-FPI offers toward the Muslim Community: Exploring a New Face of Islamic Activism and Populism in Indonesia
Despite the image of traditional-moderate Islam in Indonesia, a religious-conservatism group such as Islamic Defenders Front (Front Pembela Islam or FPI) had colored Islamic activism and populism in Indonesia in the last two decades. This group is indeed notoriously full of controversy because of harsh approaches and having a political mission, notably during the 2017 Jakarta gubernatorial election. The series of violent approaches and opposing Pancasila ideology then lead to the disbandment of FPI at the end of 2020 through a joint ministerial decision that brought several consequences, particularly in public perception. On the one hand, some might assume that public security, peace, and tranquillity have been achieved by violence-based group, but on the other hand, some might argue that this dissolution has received public sympathy as the government seems to be more authoritative and FPI bravely keep opposing and channeling public disappointment. Afterward, in early January 2021 with a new name, Islamic Brotherhood Front (Front Persaudaraan Islam or Neo-FPI) was reborn. This study aimed at exploring how Neo-FPI responds and transforms after being dissolved constitutionally by the government and to what extent this rebirth is accepted by the Muslim community. Through Sidney Tarrow’s social movement theory, this research will assess Neo-FPI as a discourse of Islamic activism and populism through library research and will interview the group’s members. The result of the study shows that the Neo-FPI might try to attempt on humanistic approach and moderation within the religious movement. However, substantially this group will not be different from the old version like an apple that falls not far from the tree. In addition, it is interesting to see how this group coup with the pandemic situation as the group’s leader has been sentenced to jail due to legal issues
Educational Financing Management: Concepts, Implications and Quality Development
Education financing is part of implementing quality education in educational institutions or academic units that program their institutions to become quality institutions. However, the tug-of-war of interest in providing funding is often experienced by educational institutions so that educational institutions stand idly by, waiting for donors to obtain funding to create quality educational institutions. This research is a type of library research, namely research that is carried out through critical and in-depth studies of library materials that are considered relevant. Find in the field. The research findings indicate that the cost of education has an important influence on improving the quality of education. The use of education costs evenly is expected to improve the overall quality of education in all circles of society. Furthermore, cooperation between the government, local government, and the community needs to support a qualified and high-quality learning process. The high cost of education will follow the qualified and high-quality education. The higher the quality of education, the higher the cost of education, and the lower the quality of education, the lower the cost of educatio
Eclipse in a Philosopher's Perspective; Construction of Myth, Tawhid, and Shari'a
Eclipse is a natural phenomenon that has a variety of determinations from time to time. Historically, eclipses were first believed to be mythical events and were closely associated with the existence of gods. When Islam came, the eclipse changed into the dimensions of tawhid and Sharia. Tawhid talks about how natural phenomena show the power and existence of Allah Almighty, while the dimension of sharia is reflected in the existence of eclipse prayers in Islam. Long before Islam came, philosophers had discussed the phenomenon of eclipses, nowadays eclipses are a serious study, especially in the study of Falak. This article is classified as literature research with a qualitative approach. The methodology used is a descriptive analysis study. The results of the study concluded that eclipses in philosophers' thoughts are still connected with the dimensions of myth and sharia. The eclipse prayer service is a manifestation of tawhid as a form of gratitude and hope
