Get PDFThe fact so far shows the ability of teachers to manage online learning is still low. The purpose of the study was to determine the effect of training and mentoring in the development of student worksheets and kahoot-based assessment instruments for elementary school teachers. This research is a quantitative descriptive study with a one-group pretest-posttest research design. The sample in this study were teachers in Jogorogo District, Ngawi Regency, East Java Province. The data collection technique used is a test. Data were analyzed using N-Gain.The results showed an increase in teacher knowledge of the Kahoot application to develop innovative LKPD. The Pre-test showed an average score of 63.95 while there was an increase in the Post-test with an average score of 70.35. Thus, teachers can improve their pedagogical skills in developing worksheets based on the KAHOOT application

Get PDFThe goal of this research is to improve the attitude of cooperation through the application of the Course Review Horray learning model in social studies. The subjects of this study were teachers and 30 students from fifth-grade public elementary school Mangkuyudan Surakarta for the 2019/2020 school year. This research is a classroom action research that has three cycles with two meetings each cycle. The data collected were interviews, observation of students’ cooperative attitudes, assessment among students, and documentation. Data validity of this study using technical triangulation and source triangulation. The data analysis technique used is Miles & Huberman's interactive descriptive analysis model. In the first cycle, students who got the very good cooperation category reached 13%, the second cycle reached 50%, while the third cycle reached 83% in classical completeness. The conclusion of this research is the cooperative attitude of a fifth-grade public elementary school Mangkuyudan Surakarta academic year 2019/2020 increases through the application of Course Review Horray learning models

Get PDFPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis nilai-nilai moral yang terkandung dalam dongeng pada buku siswa kelas II SD tema 7 “Kebersamaan” kurikulum 2013. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dengan metode analisis konten. Objek penelitiannya yaitu nilai moral yang terdapat dalam 10 dongeng pada buku siswa kelas II SD tema 7. Penelitian ini menggunakan instrumen berupa lembar analisis dokumen yang disusun berdasarkan landasan teori tentang muatan nilai moral. Teknik analisis data dimulai dengan data yang sudah dikumpulkan, direduksi, dideskripsikan, diiterpretasikan, dianalisis, kemudian disimpulkan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa wujud nilai moral dalam hubungan manusia dengan diri sendiri terdiri dari kejujuran, kerja keras, bertanggung jawab, pantang menyerah, rasa ingin tahu, bijaksana, sabar, cerdik, dan disiplin. Nilai moral yang paling banyak ditemukan yakni nilai moral rasa ingin tahu. Wujud nilai moral hubungan manusia dengan sesama terdiri dari saling menghargai, peduli sesama, sopan santun, cinta damai, kasih sayang, bersahabat, kerja sama, saling percaya, dan pemaaf. Nilai moral yang sering muncul yaitu bersahabat. Wujud nilai moral hubungan dengan alam sekitar yaitu mencintai lingkungan. Wujud nilai moral hubungan manusia dengan Tuhan yakni bersyukur. Berdasarkan keempat wujud nilai moral tersebut, guru dapat menjadikan dongeng sebagai alternatif untuk menanamkan nilai moral kepada peserta didik

No full textThe purpose of this research is to find out the correlation between motivation and learning discipline with critical thinking skills. The respondents of this research are 85 students of 5th grade from three elementary schools in Kranggan district. This research is correlational quantitative research. Data collected by using test techniques for critical thinking skills. As for the motivation and learning discipline, the data is collected by using non-test techniques. The validity of the questionnaire is obtained using content validity. In calculating the final results, it is found that the correlation between independent variable, learning motivation, and the dependent variable, critical thinking skills result in such a low category of 0,372. The effective contribution of learning motivation to critical thinking skills is 11,5% and the relative contribution is 56,3%. Whereas, the correlation between independent variable, learning discipline, and the dependent variable, critical thinking skills, the strength of the correlation is low, which is equal to 0,337. The effective contribution of learning discipline to critical thinking skills is 8,9% and the relative contribution is 43,6%. The contribution of motivation and learning discipline to critical thinking skills simultaneously is 20.5% through multiple regressions with the results of Sig. F change of 0.000> 0.0

Get PDFThis research aims to explain the function of the library, the availability of library book collections, and library management in increasing reading interest for grade 4 students of SD Negeri Soropadan Surakarta. This research is expected to provide positive input to the school in utilizing the school library, as well as efforts to improve the quality of the school library and students' reading interests. This research is qualitative research with descriptive qualitative research method. Data collection is done by observation techniques, interviews, questionnaires, and documentation studies. Data sources are obtained from principals, grade IV teachers, librarians, and students. Validity of data using source triangulation. Data analysis using Miles and Huberman's interactive analytics model. The results showed that the educational function, informative function, and recreational function of the SD Negeri Soropadan library were felt by more than 50% of the students. Judging from the collection of books that are in accordance with the curriculum, thus helping students' learning. The library is used as a place for students to learn. The availability of adequate books, various types and providing books that are entertaining for students. The availability of book collections in various types and classified libraries. Collection of books oriented and relevant according to the needs of students. The arrangement and arrangement of library materials for students is already interesting. Procurement and development only relies on assistance from the government and other parties. Library management is carried out by teachers not professionals. Library services, such as circulation services, reference services, and reading room services are already running. So it was concluded that the use of the SD Negeri Soropadan library including functions, availability of collections, and management was not optimal in increasing students' reading interest

Get PDFThis research was conducted to describe the meaning of parental involvement in online learning during the Covid-19 pandemic at SDN Gesikan Desa Gesikan in 2020. Parents have an important involvement in the online learning process carried out by children during the Covid-19 pandemic. Parental involvement includes providing facilities, motivation, and guiding online learning. This research is classified into qualitative research using a phenomenological approach. The subjects of this study were parents, students, and teachers at SDN Gesikan. The selection of research subjects was carried out by purposive sampling. Data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis was performed using Miles and Hubeman through data collection, data reduction, and data verification. The data validity used source triangulation. The results showed that parents were involved in children's online learning during the Covid-19 pandemic. Parental involvement in the online learning process experienced by children includes providing facilities, motivation, and guidance. Parents feel sad about children's online learning due to the lack of explanation from the teacher.

This study aims to increase students learning interest though the application of the Talking Stick learning model. The subjects are the students of classe 5 SDN Mangkubumen Kulon No.83 on the academic year 2019/2020 with total 14 students. The data collection techniques used were questionnaire, observation, interviews, and documentation. The analysis technique used are the source triangulation and technique triangulation. In this study data analysis used the Miles-Huberman interactive analysis model. The first cycle 50% of students have high learning interest, the study continued to the second cycle resulting in 85.72% of students having high learning interest. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the learning interest of students in grade 5 at SDN Mangkubumen Kulon No.83 in the academic year 2019/2020 can be increased through the application of the Talking Stick learning model

Get PDFAbstract. The purpose of this study to improve skills to convey opinions using cooperative learning models think pair and share. This research is a Classroom Action Research with two cycles. The subjects of this study were the fourth grade students of SD Negeri Mangkubumen Kulon No. 83 Surakarta in the 2019/2020 school year, totaling 16 students. This study uses data collection techniques in the form is interviews, observations, tests, and documentation with data validity and triangulation data analysis. Analysis of the data used is the Miles-Huberman interactive analysis model. The first cycle produces a classic 50% percentage, and the study continues with the second cycle with a 75% percentage in classical terms. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the cooperative learning model of think pair and share types can improve the skills of communicating the opinions of fourth grade students of SD Negeri Mangkubumen Kulon No. 83 Surakarta academic year 2019/2020 Learning. Get PDFThe aim of this research is improving reading comprehension skill through PQ4R method. The type of this research is Classroom Action Research which held in 3 cycles. The first and second cycles held in two meetings while the third cycle only one meeting. This study takes research subjects from teacher and 3th students in one of elementary in Surakarta. This study uses interview, observations, tests, and documentation as techniques in collecting data. Data was validated using triangulation techniques and triangulation sources. Data was analyzed using Miles and Huberman models. The results of the first cycle of action obtained by 53% classical completeness, increased in second cyecle with 81% classical completeness and third cycle with 90%. The study was stopped in third cycle because the research performance indicators had been reached. Based on these result, it can be concluded that there is an increase in reading comprehension skill in 3th grade students after applying the method of Preview, Question, Read, Reflect, Recite, Review (PQ4R) in learning process
