    According Midtlying (1992: 8) through the principles of mechanics swimmers can understand a swimming motion that is so effective that will help improve performance. Colwin (1997: 20) argues that the process of training in the sport swimming, basic knowledge of hydrodynamics and biomechanics are important elements that must be mastered by the coach to help swimmers improve speed.Furthermore freestyle, a basic stroke. This means renangan freestyle is a technique that should be taught prior to the swimmer, before learning swimming techniques butterfly, backstroke and breaststroke. For applications in biomechanics, movement freestyle summarize all the basic principles of biomechanics.Some opinions may be summarized that the coaches of sports swimming understand and master the principles of biomechanics is the most important factor in the preparation of the training program. This is because the sport is a kind of sport that moves a highly technical and complex must be trained to athletes throughout the training process, it takes not only physical ability to swim fast, but also requires a technical ability renangan good and true as a supporter.Therefore biomechanical approach would be very wise to come up with a new method of movement so that the effectiveness of the results of the movement will continue to rise so that the world record will continue to rise, although it is not as easy as turning the hand.

    The objectives of this research are to find out: (1) The management organization in Volley Ball Club Putra Semarang Bank Jateng in year 2010-2012; (2) The building method in Volley Ball Club Putra Semarang Bank Jateng in year 2010-2012; (3) The training program in Volley Ball Club Putra Semarang Bank Jateng in year 2010-2012; (4) The fund sources in Volley Ball Club Putra Semarang Bank Jateng in year 2010-2012; (5) The infrastructure and tools of Volley Ball Club Putra Semarang Bank Jateng in year 2010-2012; (6) The achievement reached by Volley Ball Club Putra Semarang Bank Jateng in year 2010-2012.This research used qualitative descriptive method. In this research is used the strategy of case study  single staked namely the target will be observed was limited and decided also centered in one location which have the characteristics itself. The data sources which are used in this research are informant, document, thing and place. The techniques of collection data are interview, documentation and observation. In this research, to find out the data validity, the researcher used two triangulation technique namely data triangulation and method triangulation. The techniques of analyzing data are qualitative descriptive, namely the collected data are arranged to be analyzed so that it obtained the illustration from variables observed.Based on the research, the result obtained as follows: (1) The management organization in Volley Ball Club Putra Semarang Bank Jateng was good enough, because in the organization was completed by the elements and principals to support the running of organization; (2) The building method in Volley Ball Club Putra Semarang Bank Jateng was very good, because the trainers were the quality trainers and also it covers the building things such as selection, talent scouting and guiding of the athlete carefully; (3) The training program which carried out in Volley Ball Club Putra Semarang Bank Jateng was good enough, looked from the training which is based on the program that the trainer made, the existence of periodic training, and the manufacture of training schedule that organized well; (4) The fund sources in Volley Ball Club Putra Semarang Bank Jateng are got from  Bank Jateng management itself, then the donation from the club board and also from sponsor; (5) The infrastructure and tools of Volley Ball Club Putra Semarang Bank Jateng were good enough. All of infrastructure and tools there in good condition and proper to be used in the training process; (6)The achievement reached by Volley Ball Club Putra Semarang Bank Jateng was very good.     This study uses classroom action research or Classroom Action Research that consists of four stages: planning, implementation, observation and reflection in each cycle and the study was completed in two cycles. Subjects in this study were students of class VI 3 SD Muhammadiyah Surakarta City District Banjarsari school year 2012/2013, amounting to 43 students consisting of 25 boys and 18 girls students. The data were obtained through observations by researchers and collaborators during the learning process takes place. The data is the result of learning basketball chest pass students gained through observation sheets covering the cognitive, the affective and psychomotor domains. Data analysis in this study used a descriptive analysis using percentage technique to look at trends in learning activities. Based on these results it can be concluded that the learning model student teams-achievement divisions can improve learning outcomes basketball chest pass in class VI 3 SD Muhammadiyah Surakarta City District Banjarsari school year 2012/2013, in which the learning outcomes in the initial conditions or 39.53% 17 students, at the end of the first cycle to be 60.46%, or 26 students, and at the end of the second cycle to be 83.72% or 36 students.     Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui perbedaan hasil tembakan lay up shot dengan teknik overhead dan underhand lay up shot juga efektifitas urutan latihan underhand-overhead lay up shot dan overhead-underhand lay up shot terhadap hasil tembakan lay up shot pada siswa ekstrakurikuler bola basket SMP Negeri 26 Surakarta tahun 2012/2013.Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen kuasi (PEK), dengan desain The Counterbalanced Design. Subjek penelitian eksperimen kuasi ini adalah siswa ekstrakurikuler bola basket SMP N 26 Surakarta tahun 2012/2013 berjumlah 20 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah tes lay up shot dari Imam Sodikun. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dengan rancangan pengukuran berulang (One Way Repeated Measures ANOVA) dengan bantuan program SPSS Release 20.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa teknik overhead lay up shot dan underhand lay up shot memperoleh hasil yang berbeda, yaitu dapat dibuktikan bahwa hasil lay up shot dengan teknik overhead lay up shot memperoleh hasil lebih baik dari teknik underhand lay up shot. Dan untuk memperoleh hasil yang optimal harus dimulai latihan dari hal yang mudah terlebih dahulu ke yang lebih sukar. Urutan latihan overhead-underhand lay up shot terhadap hasil tembakan lay up shot memang lebih efektif.Simpulan penelitian ini adalah: 1) Terdapat perbedaan hasil yang signifikan antara hasil tembakan lay up shot dengan underhand lay up shot dan overhead lay up shot pada siswa ekstrakurikuler bola basket SMP Negeri 26 Surakarta tahun 2012/2013. 2) Urutan latihan overhead-underhand lay up shot lebih efektif dibandingkan urutan latihan underhand-overhead lay up shot terhadap hasil tembakan lay up shot siswa ekstrakurikuler bola basket SMP Negeri 26 Surakarta tahun 2012/2013.Kata kunci: urutan latihan, overhead lay up shot, underhand lay up sho

    The objective of research is to improve the discus learning achievement of the VIII B graders of SMP Negeri 10 Surakarta in the school year of 2012/2013 using circuit activity model.This study was a classroom action research. The research was conducted in two cycles, each of which consisted of planning, acting, observing, and reflecting. The subject of research was the VIII B graders of SMP Negeri 10 Surakarta in the school year of 2012/2013 consisting of 28 students: 14 males and 14 females. The data source derived from teachers and students. Techniques of collecting data used were discus ability test and measurement, and observation on the learning activity process. The data analysis was done using descriptive technique based on the qualitative analysis.The result of research showed that the use of circuit activity model could improve the students’ discus learning achievement from pre-cycle to cycle one and from cycle one to cycle two. From the result of analysis obtained, the improvement of cycle one in passing category was 60.74%, with the 17 students passing successfully. In the second cycle, there was an increase of percentage passing of 85.74% with 24 students passing successfully.The conclusion of research was that the use of circuit activity model could improve the discus learning achievement in physical education learning of the VIII B graders of SMP Negeri 10 Surakarta in the school year of 2012/2013.Keywords: discuss learning achievement, circuit activity learning mode

    APLIKASI MODEL PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF TIPE TGT TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR BERMAIN BOLAVOLI PADA SISWA KELAS IX SMP NEGERI 3 NGUTER TAHUN AJARAN 2012 / 2013

    Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui keefektifan aplikasi model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TGT dan membandingkan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TGT dengan pendekatan konvensional terhadap hasil belajar bermain bolavoli siswa kelas IX SMP N 3 Nguter Tahun Ajaran 2012/2013.Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen kuasi (PEK). Penelitian dilaksanakan dengan desain Pretest-Postest Non-Equivalent Control Group. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas IX SMP N 3 Nguter yang berjumlah 52 siswa. Dalam penelitian ini terdapat dua kelompok, yaitu kelompok kontrol sebanyak 26 siswa dan kelompok eksperimen sebanyak 26 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan tes keterampilan bolavoli servis, passing dan smash (Depdiknas, 2003), tes membuat keputusan taktik dan pelaksanaan keterampilan yaitu dengan GPAI (Game Performance Assesment Instrument) dan lembar observasi atau lembar pengamatan.Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukkan sebagai berikut: (1) Dari segi proses, model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TGT untuk membelajarkan bermain bolavoli adalah efektif. Keefektifan penerapan bermain seperti ditunjukan oleh hasil-hasil analisis data, a) Analisis data dengan lembar observasi terhadap kegiatan siswa dalam proses pembelajaran selama 4 kali pertemuan, bahwa sebagian besar siswa termasuk dalam kategori baik sekali sebanyak 3 siswa atau 11,54%, kategori baik sebanyak 5 siswa atau 19,23% dan cukup sebanyak 18 siswa atau 69,23%. Dalam pembelajaran konvensional tidak dapat dilaksanakan observasi saat pembelajaran berlangsung, karena pembelajaran tidak terdesain dengan rinci sebagaimana pada kelompok eksperimen. b) Dari analisis perbandingan hasil skor pretest dan posttest, siswa dikatakan tuntas belajarnya apabila berada dalam kategori baik sekali, baik dan sedang. Pada kelompok kontrol saat pretest siswa yang tuntas sebanyak 3 siswa atau 11,53% setelah mendapatkan perlakuan (posttest) meningkat menjadi 13 siswa atau 50,00% dari 26 siswa. Sedangkan pada kelompok eksperimen saat pretest siswa yang tuntas sebanyak 4 siswa atau 15,38% setelah mendapatkan perlakuan (posttest) meningkat menjadi 25 siswa atau 96,15% dari 26 siswa. (2) Dari segi produk, atau peningkatan hasil belajar bermain bolavoli juga menunjukan bahwa pembelajaran permainan bolavoli dengan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TGT lebih baik daripada pendekatan secara konvensional.Berdasarkan hasil uji kesamaan dan uji kesejajaran ternyata dua model regresi linier tidak sama, namun sejajar. Oleh karena itu dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada perbedaan hasil belajar bermain bolavoli antara pembelajaran koopertaif tipeTGT dengan pendekatan konvensional. Konstanta garis regresi kelompok eksperimen adalah 5.744. Konstanta ini lebih besar dari konstanta garis regresi kelompok kontrol yaitu 3.074. Secara geometris garis regresi kelompok eksperimen diatas garis regresi kelompok kontrol. Dari rata-rata hasil tes akhir siswa yang belajar dengan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TGT adalah 15,42 sedangkan rata-rata test akhir siswa yang belajar dengan pendekatan konvensional adalah 12,57. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa hasil belajar bermain bolavoli dengan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TGT lebih baik dibanding hasil belajar bermain bolavoli dengan pendekatan konvensional.Kata kunci: pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TGT, hasil belajar bermain bolavoli

    The purpose of this study is to promote student participation in the game of fuelthrough the modification of a battering in the sixth grade elementary school District 02Gerdu Karangpandan Karanganyar Academic Year 2012/2013.This research is a classroom action research (CAR). The experiment wasconducted in two cycles. Subjects were students of class VI Elementary School 02 Gerdutotaling 30 children. Data sources are from teachers and students. Data collectiontechniques are obtained by observing during the learning process takes place. Thevalidity of data using triangulation techniques methods. Data analysis using descriptivequalitative. Research procedures are interrelated models.The results showed that through modification bat can increase studentparticipation in the game of fuel. Student participation in the learning process prasiklusstill low at 46.66%. The increase occurred in the first cycle is 73.33%.     The purpose of this research is to improve learning outcomes using a modification of the ball hitting the bat in a game of fuel in class VI A Mojosongo III Elementary School Surakarta academic year 2012/2013.This research is a classroom action research (CAR). The experiment was conducted in two cycles, with each cycle consisting of planning, action, observation and reflection. Subjects were students of class VI A Mojosongo III Elementary School Surakarta academic year 2012/2013 amounted to 40 students consisting of 21 male students and 19 female students. Data sources are from teachers and students, learning outcomes data obtained through the ball hitting performance tests, observation sheet used to collect data on the students' activities following the process of learning to hit the ball using a modified bat. Data analysis techniques used in this research is descriptive quantitative analysis based on percentage techniques.The results of this study can be summarized as follows: Improved learning outcomes that include aspects of affective, cognitive and psychomotor of 40 students only 13 students who achieve KKM or 32.5% in the initial conditions, increased to 52.50% or 21 students who reach the limit completed by the end of the cycle I. Furthermore, increased to 80% or 32 students who reached the completion by the end of the second cycle.
