BODY IMAGE ANAK USIA 5-6 TAHUN DALAM STIMULASI BONEKA MANUSIA
Get PDFThe objective of this research is to describe about body image of 5-6 years old children in Human Doll Stimulation that include human doll stimulation process, doll choosen by children to be played with, wanted physical character when children grow up, child's opinion about self physical condition, inspiring figure for children about physical beauty (beautiful or handsome), how parents and teachers grow a positive body image to children. This research was held in Early Childhood Education (PAUD) Cikita, Bogor. This research was foccused on Matahari class (class of 4-6 years old chilren) and implemented qualitative method. Data collecting was done with triangulation, which consists of interview, observation, and documentation. Data analyzing was done by transcripting, data organizing, recognition, and coding. Result of this research found that: (1) human doll stimulation process started with children choose dolls they wanted, enrobe clothing and accessories, role play. (2) the selected dolls of children for a puppet play is a representation of the human adult than baby dolls. Physical doll that children preferred are well-lean and white doll, (3) the desired physical characteristics by female children when they grow-up are well-lean and white, the desired physical characteristics of male children when they grow-up are are well-lean / muscular and white, (4) children's opinion about their own physical and well-colored fat (5) figures that inspired children about physical beauty (beautiful / handsome) is a fictional character from television as Cinderella, Barbie, the army, siblings and a cousin that phisically attractive(6) how teachers and parents instill a positive body image in children's materials in the body, body functions, religious approach, masculinitiy learning. Implications of this research is the emergence of cooperation between parents, schools, teachers, directorates of the Early Childhood Education in implementing a positive body image in children, can also be used as a discourse for the readers, especially for next researchers

Get PDFThe aims of the research were to know (a) the stackholders’ perception on the Education Management Departement, (b) the difference of personal performance between those with and without management education background , (c) the relevance of management education curriculum to the need of working field, and (d) the stakeholder’s expectation of the graduates and the academic product. The research was focused on the society’s expectation of Management Education Departement that provides the competence of palanning, actating, supervising, and controlling. Applying survey method, the research identified all education managers at central, province, district, subdistrict, and school levels. Samples were chosen using proportional stratified random sampling. The data were analysed quantitatively and qualitatively to draw conclusions indicating that the society needs the graduates of Education Management Department and the existing curriculum is still releveant. The research suggested to improve the quality of instructional process benefitting advanced information and communication technology to meet the developing needs of the society

This school level based curriculum is to be developed on the basis of local needs and environmmental conditions without negelcting the content and competence standars decided at central level. Referring to the local needs and conditions, the implementation of KTSP curriculum can vary one school to the others. This article discusses how the schools utilize the available learning resources to support the implementation of KTSP curriculum. It is believed that the local learning resources could be integrated to KTSP curriculum as from planning, implementation and evaluation process of the instructions. Having discussed the possibilities of using local resources thorougly, the article offer some practical ideas how to do it

The quality of the scientific journal, therefore, should be guaranteed from certain aspects such as the content, language, style, and periode . This evaluation research aimed at measing the quality of scientific journal published by The School of Education, State University of Jakarta, titled Jurnal Perspektif Ilmu Pendidikan based on the standards formulated by LIPI. The evaluation used quantitative approach and took place in The School of Education, State University of Jakarta, Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Tempat penelitian yaitu di Fakultas Ilmu Pendidikan Universitas. The evaluation, conducted as from April through October 2009, covered all publications of 2006 - 2009. The result of the evaluation showed a number of requirements in puplising a scientific journlal based on LIPI standards, have not fulfilled, To be accredited as a scientific journal, this evaluation pointed out some steps to be taken by the editorial board of Jurnal Perspektif Ilmu Pendidikan

Get PDFThe main purpose of this study was to describe how student’s attitude toward the profession of special education teacher Next, this study also wantsed to know the student’s attitude based on different characteristics, ie, sex, length of study in special education department, the priority of the student’s choice of studied in State University of Jakarta. The population icovered all students in special education Departement of School of Education, State University of Jakarta. The respondents were chosen randomly with total number of 137 students. Questionnaire were distributed to the students as survey method implemented. The result of study indicated that all responding have positive attitude toward the PLB‘s teacher works. In details, the more senior students in Special Education Department, the more positive their attitude toward PLB‘s teacher’s profession. The students who choose this Department as their first choice in State University of Jakarta tend to have more positive attitude towards the profession of special education teacher. Female students‘ attitude is more positive toward the profession of special education teacheris more positive than male student‘s attitude. Then, nonregular students attitude are more positive toward the profession of special education teacher than regular students attitude. Finally, students who are teaching non-special education subjects are more positive towards the profession of special education teache
