    PENGELOLAAN SEKOLAH DASAR BERBASIS PENDIDIKAN KARAKTER MELALUI PERAN SERTA MASYARAKAT DI DKI JAKARTA

    The aim of this study is to know the effectiveness of school management based on character education through community involvement at elementary schools in the Province of DKI Jakarta.  This research used survey method for 145 principals done at 145 elementary schools in Jakarta.  The questionnaires of school management based on character education through community involvement at elementary schools in the Province of DKI Jakarta are related to inviting society to school to give spiritual knowledge, involving society to participate in school security, involving society to participate in deciding school programs containing character values, involving society to solve the school problems related to character education, involving society to get involved in school committees, involving society to give facilities related to character education to school, involving society to help to control the implementation of character education at school, cooperating with health workers to give health service to students, conducting routine meeting between school and societies to solve the problems related to character education, cooperating with society to keep environmental cleanliness at school, involving society to assist traffic security and order surrounding school, involving society to sacrifice animals on Idul Adha Day, involving society in extracurricular activities to find the trainers, involving society to find the cleanliness workers, involving society to participate in creating healthy canteen at school, involving society to participate in controlling the activities at school, involving society to participate in preventing dengue fever outbreak, cooperating with private institution in giving cleanliness service at school, and cooperating with society to conduct art performance at school.  The result of study showed that the effectiveness of school management based on character education through community involvement higher than average scores reached 24.80 % and less than average scores reached 64.90 %.  Effectiveness of school management based on character education through community involvement at 145 elementary schools in the Province of DKI Jakarta reached 75.53 %.  It can be concluded that the effectiveness of school management based on character education through community involvement at 145 elementary schools in the Province of DKI Jakarta hasn’t been optimal so that some improvement and adjustment have to be done

    PENGARUH KOMPETENSI, MOTIVASI KERJA DAN INSENTIF TERHADAP KINERJA GURU SMA

    This research aims to (1) know the influence of teacher’s competence, work motivation, and incentive on teacher’s performance at once, (2) know the influence of teacher’s competence on teachers’ performance, (3) know the influence of work motivation on teachers’ performance, (4) know the influence of incentive on teachers’ performance. This research method used in this study is quantitative research using survey. The population of the study was 127 teachers of two senior high schools and the sample was 96 teachers. The simple random sampling was applied to choose the sample for this study. The questionnaires were the instruments used in collecting data of teacher’s competence, work motivation, and incentive while the observation sheet was the instruments used in collecting data of teacher’s’ performance. The results of prerequisite test were normally distributed, linier, homogenous, do not occur multi co-linearity and neither does autocorrelation. The data was analyzed using multiple linier regression with significance level 0,05. This research reveals that (1) there is a positive significance of influence among competence, teacher’s work motivation, and incentive on teachers’ performance at once; (2) there is a positive significance of influence between competence on teachers’ performance; (3) there is a positive significance of influence between motivation of teacher work on teachers’ performance; (4) there is a positive significance of influence between incentive on teachers’ performance.Penelitian ini bertujuan: (1) untuk mengetahui pengaruh kompetensi, motivasi kerja guru dan insentif secara bersama-sama terhadap kinerja guru, (2) untuk mengetahui pengaruh kompetensi terhadap kinerja guru, (3) untuk mengetahui pengaruh motivasi kerja guru terhadap kinerja guru, dan (4) untuk mengetahui pengaruh insentif terhadap kinerja guru. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian survei. Sampel dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 96 guru dari 127 guru SMA Negeri di Kecamatan Langke Rembong, Kabupaten Manggarai. Teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah simple random sampling. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan yaitu kuesioner untuk mengukur variabel kompetensi, motivasi kerja dan insentif sedangkan variabel kinerja guru diukur dengan lembar observasi. Hasil uji prasyarat diperoleh data berdistribusi normal, linier, homogen, tidak terjadi multikolinieritas dan autokorelasi. Analisis data menggunakan analisis regeresi linier berganda dengan taraf signifikansi 0,05. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan antara kompetensi, motivasi kerja guru, dan insentif terhadap kinerja guru secara bersama-sama; (2) terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan antara kompetensi terhadap kinerja guru; (3) terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan antara motivasi kerja guru terhadap kinerja guru; (4) terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan antar

    This study aims to fnd the effect of mind mapping learning methods in improving students' conceptual understanding in the material "Indonesian Natural and Maritime Resources Potential" for grade VII students of SMP Negeri 2 Depok, Sleman, Yogyakarta. Pre-experimental design with one group pretest and posttest model was used in this study. The participants of this study were 32 of grade VII students of SMP Negeri 2 Depok, Sleman, Yogyakarta. A multiple-choice test was used as the data collection technique then analyzed using the t-test. The results indicate that there were signifcant changes in students’ understanding concept after being treated with the mind mapping learning method (post-test score was 83.63 compared to pre-test score 74.75).Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menemukan pengaruh dari metode belajar mind mapping untuk meninkatkan pemahaman konsep siswa dalam materi "Potensi Sumber daya Alam dan Maritim Indonesia" untuk kelas VII siswa SMP Negeri 2 Depok, Sleman, Yogyakarta. Desain pra-penelitian mengunakan model satu grup pretest dan postest. Peserta penelitian ini adalah 32 siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 2 Depok, Sleman, Yogyakarta. Tes pilihan ganda digunakan sebagai teknik pengumpulan data dan dianalisis menggunakan t-test Hasil penelitian mengindikasikan bahwa ada perubahan signifkan dalam pemahaman konsep siswa setelah menggunakan metode belajar mind mapping (skor post-test 83,63 dibandingkan dengan skor pre-test 74,75)

    IPB is consistently becoming the Top 4 Best Universities based on the result of The Ministry of Research and Higher-Education Assessment Score for three years. Meanwhile, IPB still has the lowest assessment score on student affairs among other three universities. One of the significant components is the student achievements. This research aim (1) to identify the characteristics of the excellent students, (2) to analyze the perceptions about factors that significantly affect student achievement and student achievement itself, (3) to analyze the factors that significantly affect student achievement and student achievement itself, (4) to determine the result of Net Promoter Score of alumni to IPB. This research focused on a case of Department of Management Alumni Graduates of 2009 - 2013 FEM IPB that was conducted in Bogor Agricultural University from January to April 2018. This research used both primary and secondary data. The data analysis of this research was conducted by descriptive analysis, SEM-PLS, and Net Promoter Score. This research resulted that the environmental, physiological, psychological and instrumental factors had a t-statistic as orderly followed by 2.053, 2.031, 2.701, 0.033, whereas these factors were concluded to significantly affect the students` achievement.   References BAN-PT.     KEEFEKTIFAN KONSELING RATIONAL EMOTIVE BEHAVIOR UNTUK MEREDUKSI PERILAKU MENYONTEK SISWA SMA

    This study aims to apply rational emotive behavior counseling as an effort to reduce cheating behavior of high school students. The design of this study was conducted using a quasi experimental method approach with a pretest-posttest non-equivalent control group design research design. Data analysis techniques using Wilcoxon mached-pairs signed test, with the Asymp.Sig (2-Tailed) 0.028 <0.05, which shows a significant difference. The Z test value is -0.730 with the Asymp.Sig (2-Tailed) number 0.466, because of the Asymp.Sig (2-Tailed) value> 0.05, it can be concluded that there is no significant difference between the posttest value and the experimental group value with the control group, Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted which means that rational emotive behavior counseling is effective in reducing student cheating behavior. The study was carried out starting from January to March 2018, which took place at Darul Hikmah High School. Based on the results of the study, the researchers proposed several suggestions, among others (1) BK teachers, counseling rational emotive behavior can be applied by BK teachers to reduce student cheating behavior practically and can be easily applied; (2) for researchers furthermore, this research uses the pretest and posttest control group design research models, for the next researcher can use other research designs such as action research in BK, or other experimental research.   References Andrestia, M.     PENERAPAN E-LEARNING DI PERGURUAN TINGGI

    This research was aimed to describe the application of e-learning at the Department of Educational Technology, Faculty of Education Science, Jakarta State University. This research used case study research method with multiple data collection. Research findings revealed that (1) there are 20 courses conducted using e-learning by 7 lecturers; (2) blended learning was used; (3) e-learning itself developed through analysis, design and development phases; (4) analysis phase including students characteristics analysis, e-elarning environment analysis and content analysis; (5) design phase including online leaerning design (designing content, discussion for online discussion forum, assignment for online assignment, and test item for online evaluation) and face-to-face learning design including deep discussion, case study, and demonstration and practices; (6) student acceptance on blended was high; (7) there were several barriers in implementing e-learning due to lack of policy and ICT infrastructure support; and (8) supporting factors of implementation e-learning were the high commitment from lecturers and students, and the familiarity of students toward ICT. Based on research findings, Department of Educational Technology was recommended to have a minimum standard of development and implementation of e-learning and to enhance ICT infrastructure support, esp. access adequate internet connectivity.   References Chaeruman, U.A. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) terdapat 20 mata kuliah yang diselenggarakan dengan e-learning oleh 7 orang dosen; (2) e-learning yang diterapkan adalah blended learning; (3) penerapan e-learning telah melalui tahap analisis, desain dan pengembangan; (4) tahap analisis meliputi analisis karakteristik siswa dan analisis lingkungan e-learning; (5) tahap desain dimana sebagian besar dirancang dengan pola pembelajaran online (mempelajari materi, memperdalam materi melalui forum diskusi online, menerapkan pengetahuan melalui penugasan online, dan evaluasi melalui tes online), dan pembelajaran tatap muka lebih menekankan pada diskusi mendalam, demonstrasi, studi kasus, serta praktik; (6) tahap pengembangan dosen mengembangkan materi dengan memanfaatkan materi yang telah ada; (7) implementasi blended learning menarik dan disukai oleh mahasiswa; (8) pelaksanaan e-learning berjalan dengan baik karena adanya komitmen yang kuat dari dosen, kefamiliaran TIK mahasiswa dan dukungan program studi; serta (9) faktor penghambat penerapan e-learning lebih pada lemahnya dukungan kebijakan dan infrastruktur TIK yang belum memadai. Berdasarkan temuan penelitian direkomendasikan agar program studi Teknologi Pendidikan memiliki standar minimal pengembangan dan implementasi blended learning serta meningkatkan dukungan fasilitas dan akses terhadap internet yang memadai

    KEEFEKTIFAN KONSELING KELOMPOK RATIONAL EMOTIVE BEHAVIOR UNTUK MENINGKATKAN SELF ESTEEM SISWA SMA

    Self-esteem is an individual assessment that leads to self-evaluation of the results achieved, which are influenced by attitudes, interactions, rewards, and acceptance of others towards the individual. To measure self-esteem in this study using a questionnaire of self-esteem that has a value of total item validity with an R-value of 0.220, and reliability of 0.945, it can be concluded that the questionnaire is reliable and feasible to use as a research instrument. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the rational emotive behavior group counseling to improve self-esteem of high-school students. This type of research is quantitative with the design of Experiment Pretest and Posttest Control Group Design. Data were analyzed by two nonparametric statistical test`s Independent Mann-Whitney U Sample Test. The results of the hypothesis obtained by the Z value of -2.120 and Asymp numbers. Sig. (2-tailed) which is 0.034, which meant it is smaller than the real level (α / 2 = 0.05), then Ho is rejected, meaning that the counseling of rational emotive behavior groups is effective to improve self-esteem of high-school students. The research was carried out starting from February to July 2018, which took place at SMA Negeri 1 Kutorejo. Based on the results of the research, researchers give suggestions for (1) teacher of Counseling Guidance could apply this rational emotive behavior group counseling as an alternative strategy to improve students’ self-esteem; (2) furthermore, researcher could apply rational emotive behavior counseling on the other psychological aspects or using different techniques for group counseling, so they could learn new knowledge.   References Coopersmith, S.     HIGHER-ORDER THINKING SKILLS (HOTS) ANALYSIS OF STUDENTS IN SOLVING HOTS QUESTION IN HIGHER EDUCATION

    Students of Elementary School Teacher Education programs must be able to have higher-order thinking skills (HOTS) so that they can train students to have HOTS through learning activities created when they have become elementary school teachers. This study aims to explain students' high-level thinking skills in solving HOTS-oriented questions in Instructional Evaluation courses. This study uses qualitative research methods with data collection techniques using cognitive test instruments in the form of descriptions. Data analysis techniques use simple descriptive statistics. The results showed the level of thinking ability of students in answering HOTS practice questions still needed improvement. Students who have high learning abilities are better at answering HOTS-oriented questions compared to students in the medium and low categories.     The background of this research is the lack of sports coaching, especially the football sport who has not been maximized, there is a still need of training about the techniques that are in the football to every student so that they can master the football correctly. The purpose of this study was to find out which effect is more effective between the massed training method and distributed training method in the dribbling skill if it is associated with the achievement motivation factor of the students of SMK N 1 Way Bungur, East Lampung. The method used in this study was an experimental method. The design of the study was treatment design by level 2 x 2. This research was conducted at SMK N Way Bungur, East Lampung in November - December 2016 with 110 students of extracurricular soccer student population. The sampling technique in this research is random sampling. The sample in this study amounted to 60 people. The instrument used in this study is a dribbling skill test.     Generally, facial skin care materials are considered difficult because students are required to be able to remember the steps of facial skin care treatment, therefore, it is important to using instructional models that can help to improve the ability of students in receiving instructional materials. This study aims to determine the effect of instructional model Quantum Teaching on the Basic Skin Care subject as a basic competence of X class Tata Kecantikan SMK Negeri 1 Beringin. This research was conducted by pre experiment methods. This research was conducted at SMK Negeri 1 Beringin in February 2015. The descriptive result of 31 students’ tendency of facial skin care study before being given the application of a quantum teaching (X) model included sufficient category and facial skin care learning after applying Quantum Teaching (Y) including high category. The results obtained showed that there is a significant effect between the results of facial skin care study after being given the application of Quantum Teaching models in students of SMK Negeri 1 Beringin.   References Abdurrahman.
