Design Digital to Analog Control Equipment Using Computer

A riped jackfruit (Arthocarpus heterophyllus Lamk.) is one of the most popular fruit among tropical fruits, but it has inferior characteristic such as perishable, time consumed to served in fresh condition for peeling, and it consists of something sticky. Therefore a minimal processing must be done. This study is aimed to evaluate the respiration rate and find out the optimum condition for lengthening the storage life of minimally processed jackfruit under a modified atmospheric packaging. According to its respiration pattern, a jackfruit is classified as a climacteric fruit, due to its sudden increase of evaluated C02. The optimum gas composition for MAP is 4-7% 02 and 10-12% C02 with a storage temperature of 5 \u27C. The MAP of jackfruit using Styrofoam tray and Stretch Film packaging is able to lengthen its storage until 8 days.

River Run off Prediction Based on Rainfull DataUsing Tank Model
River run ofl model using tank model has been formulated to the natural river of Cidanau, Serang, West Java. The model consists of four lanks represent four land use zones. The parameter of the tanks were optimized using the observed data of injiltration capacity, daily rainfall and daily river discharge for an entire years. The advantages of this model is determination of the Jirst tank parameter using injiltration capacity. This parameter was directlydetermined based on in3ltration measurement for the respective land use zone. The application of this model was utilized for revising the discharge data since several period of the recorded data were not accurate
Expert System for Identification of Red Pepper Plant (Capsicum annum L.)
Identification of plant disease is an important step to decide how it will control. This paper discusses the design and development of an expert system for identification of 12 general diseases of red pepper plant (Capsicum annum L.). Disease identification in this software system was based on the visual symptom of disease(s) in various plant growth stages, similar to the standard rules in plant protection science. The prototype of this software system was implemented by EXSYS Professional for Microsoft Windows (WINEXSYS) version 5.0 and worked under Windows \u2795 operation system. This software system is user-friendly and equipped by image-visualization that describe disease symptoms
Effects of Organic Matter on Soil Erosion and Runoff Peanuts and Green Pea in Cultivation
Organic matter from manure are used not only for fertilizer but also can be used for preventing soil erosion and runoff. How to manage manure to soil for peanut and green pea CUltivation is especially important, because most farmers plant these crops. The objective of this research is to identify effect of: 1) organicmatter from chicken manure, cow manure and sheep manure on soil erosion and runoff in peanuts and green pea cultivations, 2) mulch from paddy, corn and leaf of banana on soil erosion and runoff. The design is divided into three experiments. First, field experiment for land preparation with treatment plowing with harrowing. Second, field experiment for peanuts and green pea crops with treatment chicken, cow and sheep manure. Third, laboratory experiment for mulching uses treatment with cover percentage of mulch from paddy, corn and leaf of banana. Land preparation using chicken manure decreased soil bulk density and increased soil porosity and aggregate stability index. Lower soil erosion and runoff is attained when treated with chicken manure. Productivity of peanuts and green pea are increased with the increase of manure. Using mulch of paddy, soil erosion and runoff are lower compared with using mulch of corn and leaf of banana
Performance of Pepper Post Harvest Machines
The purpose of this study was to learn technical performance and financial feasibility of a unit of mechanical post-harvest processing of pepper. The equipment used in such a process is thresher, peeler and dryer. The equipment was tested to learn its technical performances. It was found that the threshing efficiency of the thresher was 98% with a capacity of 269 kg fresh pepper spikes per hour and damaged berries of 5.3%. The peeling efficiency of the peeler was 98% with an optimum capacity (in term of fresh pepper spikes) of 224 kg per hour.The financial analysis showed that a unit of mechanical post-harvest processing of pepper with a capacity of 30,000 kg per year needs an investment of Rp. 82,060,000.00. This investment wi/l give an NPV of Rp. 141,605,144; net BIC of 2.37 and IRR value of 81.33%. An intensive and local specific study must be carried out to get appropriate conclusions of such an analysis
A Model of Vegetative Stage of Baby Cucumber Using Artificial Neural Network
A model of how plant reacts to their micro climate is of great importance to control the physical micro climate around the plant and to other major input problems (such as rutinition intake). Artificial Neural Network (ANN) can be utilized to model a plant reaction to their microclimate in a more objective facshion by applying the ANN to measured data, and not from a pre-assumed model structure. Internet Based Expert System for Hand Tractor Trouble Shooting
The final step of this research was uploading the system in virtual FTP (File Transfer Protocol directory address /www/smipipb, and Uniform Resource Locator (URL) to access this site washttp://www.websamba.com/smipipb. The eveluation using the same browser engines indicutes that the system work as weN as in the local intranet. The knowledge base contains rules concerning the knowledge domain transformed and stored in the Microsoft Access data basejle. The main constribution of this research is to provide a multiuser software tool for hand tractor trouble shooting in the internet environment
Application of Monte Carfo Simulation Method for Forecasting Discharge of a Stream Flow
Discharge of a stream flow is one process in hydrologic cycle. Fluctuation of discharge - directly or indirectly - is more affected by rainfall intensity. Because rainfall intensity is dependent on weather (climate), discharge will be fluctuated dependent on change of weather (climate). In a long period (for example 10 years), data of discharge will become a data series. A data series of discharge is a stochastic data. There are two aspects in a data series, i.e. probability aspect and time aspects. A data series can be simulated with based on stochastic concept. One of the methods that can be used is Monte Carlo Simulation Method. Furthermore, in this paper will be exposed the resuff of accurateness of Monte Catlo Simulation Method to simulate data series of discharge.
