    Image Processing Algoritm of The Red Chili Plant Using Three Dimensional Vision Sensor

    Machine vision is one of the image processing techniques used to process the image of an object according to its color, shape, size by using a video camera as an image capturer. The image processing used in this study, could be categorized as one of the machine vision techniques, eventhough using three dimensional vision sensor as an image capturer.The three dimensional vision sensor constructed using two laser beams namely the red laser (685 nm) and the infrared laser (830 nm) as the light transmitter and tow position sensitive device (PSDs) as the receiver unit. The output signals of each PSD were detected from two output terminals called anode A and anode B. Three kind of signals namely red A+B, infrared A and infrared B were collected the red ripe chili fruits from their canopy and to calculate the cutting point of the individual fruit\u27s stem three dimensionally

    Groundwater is an important resource of water supply in the highly populated city. Groundwater availability in aquifer is determaneted by morfological hydrological and geological factors. Geological factors includes shape and distribution of rock, difference and distribution of layer and geological structure. One method to investigate the groundwater potential can  be used geolistric method, so can be represent about distribution, locations and depth of rock layers in subsurface at the research area. The conductivity hydrolic values in Darmaga, Bogor range from 0.85 to 2.90 m/day or 0,001 - 0,04 and the value of expect discharge is 10 s/d 20 liters/sec

    The successful application of pitcher irrigation system has motivated to investigate the pitcher as a fetigation system. The experiment was conducted at Leuwikopo Experiment Station, Agricultural Engineering Departemen, Bogor Agricultural University. The main objective of this study is to study the effectiveness of pitcher fertigation system on bushes pepper crops. The result shows that the pitcher wall is capable to release NPK solution. Diffusion rate of fertilizer solution was measured as affected by the concentration inside and outside of the pitcher. The soil moisture distribution in the soil is sufficient to transfor the solution available for crops development. Concentration of Phosphate (P) and Potassium (K) decrease laterally and the Nitrogen (N) tends to accumulate homogeneously in moist part around the pitcher

    Post harvest handling and treatment of agricultural prodz~ct isextremely important in maintaining all of the possible qzralify of the prodzilrct. Most of the product needs to be handled and treated at low temperature. Duly. a cheap and easy-to-handle cooling facility is very important to be provitied nearer to producer\u27s/ farmer\u27s location. The objectives of the experiment were to design and evaluate the performance of an evaporative cooling system, uwd to develop a simulation model for predicting the performance and temperature distribution inside the storage room. Experimental data showed that the performance of the design was fairly good and acceptable. The cooling system could keep the temperature of product under ambient temperature, although the optimal temperaturecouldn\u27t be reached. Performance of the design could be increased by improving the performance of nozzle, fan and the insulation system of the storage wall

    Nowdays, greenhouse is becoming popular in tropical country for plant cultivations, which the main reason is fbrplant protection against unwanted distwbances i.e. from heavy rainfall, wind, pest and so on. Since most of the greenhouse are covered with transparence material such as glass plate, plastic sheet, fiberglass etc., the greenhouse effect will take place accordingly causing a temperature rise that is usually higher than that of the outside. It turns out that this rising temperature becomes a major problem that will have negative effects on the plant growth. This research aims to control the temperature in the greenhouse by applying a Fuzzy Logic Controller (FLC), first by maintaining a constant temperature in the greenhouse and secondly, by trying to equalize the temperature in the greenhouse to that of the outside. The experiment was canied.out at a small scale with the greenhouse dimension of (1 00 x 120 x 100) c d Heet fnun the greenhouse was expelled using an exhaust fan. The power of the fan was: contfv&d.by the FLC subjected to the real temperaturn changes with time. The results sh~wtha t the FLC could pe~formg oad function of a temperature controller for the greenhouse.. It couM control the temperature in the greenhouse under the expected conditions end explained the energy consumption throughout the process.

Dalam kurun waktu 1969-1993 telah diperoleh hasil-hasil sebagai berikut:direhabilitasi jaringan irigasi seluas 2.9 juta ha di Jawa, Sumatra, Sulawesi, Nusa Tenggara dan Kalimantanluas areal sawah beririgasi mencapai 5.7 juta ha pada tahun 1993 akibat pembangunan jaringan irigasi baru seluas 1.6 juta haluas lahan sawah beririgasi teknis, semi teknis, sederhana dan sebagainya, bertambah dari luas 3.388 juta ha tahun 1968 menjadi 4.779 juta ha pada tahun 1985, dan 8.227.149 ha pada tahun 1993
