Get PDFThe role of the Sukabumi Regency Women's Empowerment and Child Protection Service (DP3A) in dealing with cases of child marriage in Sukabumi Regency. The purpose of this research is to find out and describe the role of the Sukabumi Regency Women's Empowerment and Child Protection Service (DP3A) in overcoming cases of child marriage in Sukabumi Regency and the inhibiting factors in its implementation. This is motivated by the large number of requests for dispensation letters of introduction to marriage to the P2TP2A Office of Sukabumi Regency in 2021 and the increasing number of child marriages in Sukabumi Regency in the 2020-2021 range. This study used qualitative research methods. Informants in this study were the Office of Women's Empowerment and Child Protection (DP3A) of Sukabumi Regency, P2TP2A of Sukabumi Regency, as well as the community/children who practice child marriage. Data validation in this study used source triangulation and technical triangulation methods. The results of this study are that there are still obstacles for the Sukabumi Regency Women's Empowerment and Child Protection Office in handling child marriage cases, namelythere is a wrong opinion/view of some people that it is a shame if they don't quickly marry off their daughters and there are betel marriages (underhanded) and without being reported
EVALUATION OF ALCOHOLIC DRINK PROHIBITION POLICY IN SUKABUMI CITY 2022
Get PDFThe purpose of this research is to find out about the evaluation of the ban on alcoholic beverages in Sukabumi City in 2022. The method used in this study is a qualitative method with a case study approach. The techniques used in collecting data include observation, interviews, documentation, audio-visual material. The results of the study indicate that the policy objectives have been achieved but there are still those who violate them so that the policy objectives have not been achieved, there are obstacles in the implementation of the prohibition of alcoholic beverages, the implementation has not been responded to as a whole so that the involvement of all parties is needed, lack of budget and vehicle infrastructure for related agencies

Research using Terry and Rue theory (2019). The research method uses descriptive method with qualitative approach. Data collection using observation techniques, interviews, documentation, and combined/triangulation. Validation data using triangulation techniques and data analysis using data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of this study show that the supervisory function carried out by the department in the development of The Situ Gunung Suspension Bridge tourist destination area is running well looking at the theoretical dimensions of Planning, Organizing, Staffing, Motivating, and Controlling according to Terry and Rue (2019)

Get PDFThe East Java Provincial Government in the implementation of E-Government is also proven by the issuance of the East Java the Surat Keputusan Gubernur No. 188/126/KPTS/013/2022 on the Coordination Team for Electronic Based Government Systems of the East Java Province in 2022, which has the task of providing recommendations for the direction of development of information and communication technology and coordinating the implementation of Electronic Based Government Systems (SPBE) in the East Java Provincial Government. However, from the observations made, it appears that the development of employees in the Administration Development Bureau of the East Java Provincial Secretariat has not fully progressed as expected. The purpose of this study is to identify and analyze the development of Human Resources and the barriers to the implementation of E-Government in the Administration Development Bureau of the East Java Provincial Secretariat. The researcher uses a qualitative research method. The focus of this study is on the development of Human Resources in the Administration Development Bureau of the East Java Provincial Secretariat. The research instrument is interviewing. The informants in this study are the Administration Development Bureau of the East Java Provincial Secretariat, the Head of the Administration Sub-Division, and the Functional Officials and Staff at the Administration Development Bureau of the East Java Provincial Secretariat. The results show that the development of Human Resources is still not given enough attention by the Administration Development Bureau of the East Java Provincial Secretariat, as seen from the low interest of employees (staff) in carrying out new things, especially in education and training and the lack of ability to think or reason/logic to optimize applications, resulting in the lack of optimal performance from the employees
CHANGES IN THE ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE OF THE GRESIK DISTRICT FIRE FIGHTING AND RESCUE DEPARTMENT IN THE FRAMEWORK OF IMPROVING SERVICE QUALITY
Get PDFBureaucratic reform and efforts to realize effective institutions with the alignment of regional apparatus nomenclature with regulations, several agencies made changes that were arranged more effectively in achieving the goals of bureaucratic reform. This study aims to describe and analyze the adjustment process for changes in the organizational structure of the Gresik District Fire Department (DPKP), as well as examine efforts to improve the quality of its services. .In order to achieve the research objectives, a qualitative method was used with a descriptive approach, by taking informants from the Fire and Rescue Service in Gresik Regency. The results of the interpretive analysis can be described that the East Java Provincial Government allowed and changed the Fire Department and Community Protection at the Satpol PP Service to OPD itself or the Gresik Regency Government Type C Fire Service. There was a change in the status of the IPK (Fire Department), the Gresik Fire and Rescue Service (DPKP) made various adjustments, which included adjusting the number of HR (Officers), supporting facilities and infrastructure, as well as various collaborative activities that could assist various tasks of handling fire incidents and repair. The efforts of the Gresik Regency DPKP in an effort to improve the quality of service were carried out in various aspects, starting from increasing the number of DPKP officers, building DPKP Posts in three locations, namely North Gresik, South and West Gresik, as well as rescue services from the threat of wild animals, as well as rescue pets and livestock. With regard to efforts to improve the quality of service, it is also suggested that the DPKP can increase cooperation with the private sector to support the operational tasks of fire fighting and rescue
QUALITY OF SERVICE IN MAKING KTP AND KK IN SURADE SUBDISTRICT, SUKABUMI REGENCY

The problem phenomenon focuses on the not optimal quality of service in terms of errors in writing KTP and KK identities, the absence of blanks, the lack of optimal human resources, resulting in human erorr. Thet eori used by Zeithhaml Parasuraman Barry (2011) include Physical evidence, Reliability, Assurance and Empathy. The research method uses observation, interviews, and documentation. The research instrument is purposive sampling. The analysis unit and the informant's setting used snowball sampling. Data validation using triangulation, data analysis using data condensation, data view, and drawing conclusion. With tangible results, it has been felt well by the people of Surade District. Based on the reliability of the service unit's ability to provide the promised service immediately and satisfactorily for service users is still not well felt and the Responsive Dimension is still not well implemented. in conclusion Service standards in District Offices Surade has been implemented in accordance with applicable procedures, but the quality of service provided is still not good because the officers who provide waiters are not friendly so they do not provide comfort for service users at the Surade District Office, Sukabumi Regency
THE ROLE OF THE SUKABUMI CITY LABOR OFFICE IN INCREASING LABOR ABSORPTION IN SUKABUMI CITY
Get PDFOne of the outstanding issues is the employment problem. Considering that a sizable portion of the labor force is still unemployed, there must be an equal distribution of employment throughout the workforce. The study's purposes were to identify the role of the Sukabumi City Labor Office in increasing labor absorption as well as its supporting and inhibiting factors in Sukabumi City. The theory used is the role theory of Jim Ife and Frank Toserioro, namely: 1) the role of facilitating; 2) the role of educating; 3) the role of representation; and 4) the technical role. A qualitative method using a descriptive approach was utilized. Then, the finding of this study was demonstrate that the Sukabumi City Labor Office contribution to increasing labor absorption in Sukabumi City is adequate but not ideal. Firstly, due to job searchers' abilities not meeting the company's requirements, the role of facilitating through job fair activities is still lacking, and there are still many candidates who have not been hired by the company. Secondly, providing an educational role through skill-training activities, the infrastructure and facilities for skill-training are inadequate due to financial restrictions. Thirdly, the Sukabumi City Labor Office only conducts apprenticeship activities with businesses that are in compliance with skills training, and there aren't many participants who are apprenticed. This limits the function of representation through apprenticeship activities. Besides that, there is supporting factor is the support from external parties who are involved in supporting and facilitating to increase labor absorption in Sukabumi City. The inhibiting factors are budget constraints, inadequate infrastructure, and a lack of quality Human Resources (HR)
WATESNEGORO VILLAGE GOVERNMENT STRATEGY IN DEVELOPING TOURISM AT SUMBER GADUNG
Get PDFTourism development is an effort to improve, advance, and improve tourist facilities and services needed by the community. This research aims to analyze and explain the Strategy of the Watesnegoro Village Government in Developing Gadung Source Tourism. The basic concept used in this research is the theory of strategy according to James Brian Quinn including goals, policies, and programs. This qualitative research uses a purposive sampling technique. Data were collected using interviews, observation, and documentation. Data analysis used interactive Miles, Huberman, and Saldana. The results show that the objectives of tourism development in Watesnegoro Village are to increase the number of tourist visits, improve the community's economy, overcome unemployment, and preserve the environment. Policies in the development carried out by the village government are by making improvements and providing infrastructure, car free day activities, and gymnastics with tourists and including the role of youth organizations as tourism managers. THE EFFECTIVENESS OF FIRE DISASTER MITIGATION TRAINING IN SURABAYA REGIONAL DISASTER MANAGEMENT AGENCY
Get PDFThis study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the Surabaya City fire disaster mitigation training, the inhibiting and supporting factors in the fire disaster mitigation training and the efforts made by the Surabaya City BPBD in overcoming obstacles in the fire disaster mitigation training. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. Sources of information were determined using purposive sampling techniques, data collection techniques through library studies, interviews and documentation as well as data analysis techniques by data collection, data reduction, data display and drawing conclusions. The results of the study show that: (1) The effectiveness of fire disaster mitigation training at BPBD Kota Surabaya is categorized as quite effective. The results of the work which can be seen from the high level of community awareness, the duration of time adjusted to the scale of the participants present, the satisfaction of the community which can be seen from the satisfaction survey data, the adaptation of trainers in adjusting to environmental conditions during fire disaster mitigation training and the development carried out to improve effectiveness, namely through employee competency improvement programs or staff. (2) The inhibiting and supporting factors in the effectiveness of this training are the facilities and infrastructure factors, employee competency factors, applicable SOP factors and community participation factors. (3) Efforts made by BPBD Kota Surabaya are by carrying out competency certification, coaching and mentoring programs, attending routine training specifically for employees or staff and collaborating with other agencies
INSTITUTIONALIZATION OF LOCAL WISDOM WEDDING PROCESSES IN CULTURE OF PUSAR VILLAGE, BATURAJA SUB-DISTRICT OGAN KOMERING ULU DISTRICT
Get PDFCulture is a knowledge system that includes a system of ideas contained in the human mind, so that in everyday life culture is abstract. The wedding procession with sacrifice, the slaughter of a scapegoat for the people of Pusar Village is one of the traditions owned by the people of Pusar Village, Baturaja District. The approach used in the meaning of verbal and nonverbal communication in a series of marriage processions with sacrifices, the slaughter of scapegoats uses symbolic interaction theory, symbolic interaction theory holds that individuals form the same meaning through communication. The method used is descriptive qualitative method. In collecting data, conducting in-depth interviews (Depth Interview) to key informants, the selected informants are people who are considered to know and understand the problems studied. The results of the analysis in this study are marriage processions with sacrifices, slaughtering scapegoats in Pusar Village there are forms of verbal communication and nonverbal communication contained in every series of marriage processions with sacrifices, slaughtering scapegoats including prayer. The prayer delivered by the traditional leader and followed by the family holding a wedding ceremony aims to request permission to hold a wedding ceremony and share happiness with the ancestors. After taking turns praying, the family waters the graves of their ancestors with the water that has been provided. From the results of the research conducted, it can be concluded that in every series of wedding processions with sacrifices, the slaughter of a scapegoat has a meaning that has been believed by the people of Pusar Village itself. It is hoped that the people of OKU Regency can participate in preserving the existing culture and arts. Especially in the cultural arts of the wedding procession with sacrifice, the slaughter of this scapegoat
