Abstract: This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of the probing prompting technique in learning Arabic through the Instagram platform at the MBS Jatinom Islamic Boarding School, Klaten. With a descriptive qualitative approach, this study involved teachers and students as the main subjects. Data were obtained through observation, interviews, documentation, and questionnaires. Observations focused on learning interactions using Instagram features, such as stories and live streaming, while interviews and questionnaires explored teachers' and students' perceptions regarding the application of the probing prompting method in the teaching and learning process. The results showed that the application of probing prompting combined with the use of Instagram significantly improved Arabic language skills, especially in speaking and listening aspects. Students in the experimental group showed greater improvement than the control group, with better learning outcomes and a deeper understanding of the material. The use of Instagram as a learning medium also allows for more flexible and dynamic interactions between teachers and students, expanding the scope of learning from the classroom to the digital realm. The conclusion of this study confirms that the probing prompting method through Instagram can be an effective learning strategy in improving Arabic language skills. However, there are challenges that need to be considered, such as access to technology and user readiness to utilize social media optimally. Integration between traditional learning methods and digital technology can increase motivation, participation, and the quality of learning outcomes, making learning more relevant to the needs of the times

A Study on Mindful Learning: Can Mindfulness-Based Social-Emotional Learning Strengthen Student Learning Focus?

This study aims to analyze the effect of Mindfulness-Based Social Emotional Learning (MBSEL) on students' learning focus in private junior high schools. Problems often faced by students include putting their heads on the table when bored, scribbling as a sign of lack of attention, chatting while the teacher is teaching, and using cell phones to check notifications. In addition, less interactive teaching methods also play a role in decreasing learning focus. This study uses a quantitative approach with a survey method. The study population included 140 students, with a sample of 104 students selected using proportional random sampling techniques. Respondents came from grades VII to IX students in the 2024/2025 academic year. The analysis showed a positive and significant effect between MBSEL and students' learning focus, with a tcount value of 8.034 and a significance value of p <0.05. Simple regression produced an R² value of 0.388, indicating that MBSEL contributed 38.8% to increasing students' learning focus, while 61.2% was influenced by other factors not examined in this study. This finding confirms the importance of implementing MBSEL to improve students' learning focus

The research was conducted to find the effect of the practice of scientific views on the ability of high-level of students in thinking. The problems that occur to students are that there are students who are passive in question-and-answer sessions during the learning process or raise questions from learning videos and subject matter, there are students who are not creative in analyzing a case according to the learning topic, there are students who live with way of think issue at a learning process at class with high level thinking, there are some students do not know how to apply the way to analyze and evaluate in the Buddhist education subjects. Learning with a scientific approach can bring the impact to learning through the systematic and holistic thinking practices. This research brought the approach of quantitative and developed a survey method. The respondents is in total 70 people. The research place has been done at Buddhist School in Jakarta City. The data analysis result showed that can be interpreted that the scientific approach positively affected of student in thinking ability with high-level standard. The result recommendation to bring the perspective of the ability of school students in high-level thingking to create a tremendous way of learning in thinking level at class, so the schools and government can formulate the proper policy in school national standard and criteria. The research is limited in research time and methodology development, for new researchers can manage the time to explore more detail and concrete in the data collection using a direct observation and case study procedure in qualitative approach

This study aimed to find Thina-middha on students' emotional intelligence. The problems that occur in students are those who are lazy in doing assignments, procrastinating on assignments at school and home, and students who prefer other activities such as playing games, playing social media, and playing with friends rather than doing assignments. Difficulty dividing time in doing school assignments given by teachers. This study uses a quantitative approach with a survey method. The population in this study was 69. This study was conducted in Junior High Schools with student respondents in the 2023/2024 academic year. The study results showed a significant positive effect between the Thina-middha variable and the emotional intelligence variable of junior high school students in 2024, with a t count of 17.274 and a significance value (0.000 <0.05). The magnitude of the influence of Thina-middha on the emotional intelligence of Buddhist students at Jambi Middle Schools in 2024 can be seen from the R Square, which has a value of 0.817, thus meaning that 81.7% of Thina-middha has a significant influence on student's emotional intelligence, while the remaining 18.3% is influenced by other variables that were not studied

The Development of ‘CATRA’ Android-Based Learning Module with Gamification Approach for Students: A Research and Development on Learning Media

CATRA learning media is an Android-based learning module with a gamification approach. This study is motivated by the dominance of conventional methods in Senior High Schools, which shows the need for an innovative approach to learning. CATRA is designed as a multidimensional projection instrument to present the Four Noble Truths (Cattari Arya Saccani) material to create a more interactive and motivating learning environment. The methodology applied is research and development (R&D), with data collection procedures including observation, interviews, literature studies, and validation. The validation results from media experts, material experts, and Buddhist religious education teachers showed a very high level of feasibility, with a total score of 334, an average of 4.4, and a percentage of 88%. Based on these parameters, CATRA is classified as "Very feasible" and should be implemented in learning in senior high schools. Statistical analysis using the Paired Sample T Test showed a significant difference between learning outcomes before and after the use of media, with a calculated t value (-8.428) smaller than the t table (-2.2009) and a P value (0.00) smaller than 0.05. These findings indicate the effectiveness of CATRA in improving students' understanding of the material being taught. The significant difference between the average pre-test and post-test scores validates the positive impact of this learning media. Based on the study's results, further studies are recommended to explore the development of similar media for other learning materials to expand the scope and improve the effectiveness of educational innovation in a broader learning context

This research describes children’s language acquisition (L2), especially Indonesian, which is influenced by their mother tongue (B1), namely the regional language. This research is included in qualitative research using a qualitative descriptive approach. The data obtained in this research is linguistic data regarding language acquisition. The focus of this research is children’s language acquisition, especially Indonesian, which is influenced by their mother tongue and regional languages. Samples were collected from two geographically different areas. Namely the people of Jepara city and the people of Solo city. This research uses documentation techniques for data collection. The documents analyzed in this research are the languages that are dominant in Jepara and Solo society and are related to the acquisition of Indonesian. The validity of the data used is determined by theoretical triangulation. Data analysis in this research consists of several elements, namely data reduction or data selection (data selection and sorting), data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of this research are that children’s language acquisition (L2) is largely error-free and error-free. This is because children are still influenced by their mother tongue (B1). The mother tongue influences the correct and appropriate pronunciation of Indonesian (B2). This error usually occurs in Indonesian words that are similar to mother tongue vocabulary (B1)
