Get PDFKata Kunci: Kalimat PersyaratanPenelitian yang berjudul Penggunaan Kata Pengandaian Partikel Ba dan Tara dalam Majalah Jepang NAIL UP Vol. 56 ini digunakan untuk memahami penggunaan kata pengandaian berdasarkan maknanya dan mengetahui apakah kedua kata pengandaian tersebut dapat disubtitusikan atau tidak. Berdasarkan dua alasan tersebut, maka dalam penelitian ini ditentukan beberapa rumusan masalah yaitu 1) Bagaimana penggunaan kata pengandaian partikel ba dan tara dalam kalimat iklan majalah Jepang NAIL UP Vol. 56 ditinjau dari maknanya 2) Apakah penggunaan kata pengandaian partikel ba dan tara dapat disubtitusikan dalam kutipan kalimat tersebut.Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif yang menggunakan metode analisis deskriptif. Analisis deskriptif bertujuan untuk menganalisis penggunaan kata pengandaian partikel ba dan tara dalam majalah Jepang NAIL UP Vol. 56.Hasil temuan dalam penelitian ini diketahui keseluruhan data temuan berjumlah 21 data. Dari keseluruan temuan data tersebut ditemukan 13 data yang dapat disubtitusikan dan 8 data yang tidak dapat disubtitusikan diantaranya 13 data yang berfungsi untuk membicarakan situasi yang mengandung pengandaian atau jika, 6 data yang berfungsi untuk membicarakan kejadian setelah itu, 1 data yang berfungsi untuk membicarakan hal yang selalu sama, dan 1 data yang berfungsi untuk membicarakan hal yang baru diketahui atau tidak terduga
LEXICAL CLASSIFICATION OF BATIK MOJOKERTO MOTIFS (AN ETHNOSEMANTIC APPROACH)

In this study the writer focuses more on ethnosemanticapproach to analyze the names of Batik Mojokerto motifs. This research tries to answer the problems of study i.e: 1). what are the lexical units of motif of Batik Mojokerto? 2). What are the references of the name of Batik Mojokerto? 3). What are the relationship between the names of batik and socio – cultural values of Mojokertosociety?.Qualitative approach and interview are research design in this research. Interview is used to gain the information. The data is taken from informant who is maker of Batik Mojokerto and supporting data of the description of Batik Mojokerto from office of Dinas Koperasi, Perindustrian dan Perdagangan Kota Mojokerto.This research reveals that there are 15 names of Batik Mojokerto motifs. In lexical classification there are 13 Noun Phrases, 1 Verb Phrase, and 1 Adjective Phrase. Besides, there are distinctive names of the motif which comprise animal reference, that is Sisik, plant reference there are Mrico, Koro, and Talas, then the nature elements of Alas, Kali, Surya, and Bulan. There are 7 batik motif names which areinfluenced by socio – cultural values of Mojokerto society. The names are: MricoBolong, Sisik Gringsing, Mahkota Majapahit, Teratai Surya Majapahit, Surya Majapahit, Satrio Manah, and Gerbang Mahkota Raja. There are 5 batik names which refer to nature. The names are Bunga Matahari, Daun Talas, Koro Renteng, TerangBulan and Lerek Kali. The last background is influenced by human lifestyle, are: NamKloso, Rawan Inggek, and Alas Mojopahit.The writer expects the result of the research will be useful for the readers who are interested in the similar topic. The writer suggests the next researcher to conduct a similar research about relationship between language and culture to deeper analysis in socio–cultural contexts

Tatemae adalah penampakan luar seseorang di depan umum, sedangkan Honne adalah pikiran yang sesungguhnya. Konsep ini digunakan untuk menjaga kedamaian dalam masyarakat Jepang yang disebut wa. Dalam skripsi ini penulis akan menjawab rumusan masalah yaitu bagaimana konsep Tatemae-Honne yang tercermin pada tokoh Nakata Makiko dalam drama Seigi no Mikata karya Sutradara Satoru Nakajima.Dalam skripsi ini penulis menggunakan metode penelitian secara kualitatif. Dimana cara analisis menggunakan cara deskriptif dan tekstual untuk menganalisis dialog dan adegan dalam drama Seigi no Mikata sehingga dapat disimpulkan bagaimana sikap Tatemae-Honne tokoh Nakata Makiko.Hasil yang didapat dari penelitian ini adalah konsep Tatemae-Honne telah menjadi suatu hal yang wajib dalam dunia kemasyarakatan Jepang. Konsep ini dapat menjadi pelumas dalam proses interaksi sosial dalam masyarakat. Dimana seseorang tidak boleh selalu mengatakan pendapat yang sesungguhnya karena dikhawatirkan akan menyakiti hati orang lain.Pada penelitian selanjutnya disarankan untuk meneliti film ini dengan menggunakan teori yang berbeda, misalnya teori Psikologi. Selain itu, bisa dengan membandingkan konsep Tatemae-Honne Jepang dengan konsep basa-basi masyarakat Jawa
MANIFESTATION OF RACISM IN BLOOD DIAMOND MOVIE

In this context, human beings interact with each other. Unfortunately not all of them can achieve equality because of differences in skin color. The film entitled Blood Diamond points out the racial conflict between Whites people and Black people.The research employs sociological approach in order to serve more detailed focus on the subject being studied. This approach directs the discussion to use racism theory that cover issue : white supremacy. For supporting the approach, this research using facial expression and stereotype to analyze and interpret the data. In this research, there are two problems of the study to be solved, (1) how is racism reflected in Blood Diamond movie, and (2) what are the characteristic of racism in Blood Diamond movie.This research reveals that because of their historical background, Blacks always face discrimination. However, Blood Diamond shows there are some actions from Blacks or Whites. The manifestation of racism in Blood Diamond movie becomes the object of this study. In this film, there are some interaction between Whites people and Blacks people. The researcher notes that there are some spesific racism shown in this movie. The characteristics of racism in this film are shown the superiority of Whites and Blacks. The superiority becomes identity of the Whites people toward black people. However, racism seems to be Whites stereotype toward Blacks. It is shown more clearly in the movie.                                                                                                                         The writer suggests the next researchers to analyze the movie from different perspective using other approach. Psychological approach, for example, This approach can be used to identify the psychological condition of the characters consisting two different races between Blacks and Whiters. It will be interesting to see psychological development of the characters influenced by racial issues between Blacks and Whites
NINA’S DISSOCIATIVE IDENTITY DISORDER IN ARONOFSKY’S MOVIE BLACK SWAN: A SEMIOTIC ANALYSIS

Movie consists of three elements: audio, visual, and verbal that are considered as signs. One movie that consists of implicit signs is Black Swan. Black Swan is a thriller psychological movie which tells about ballerina named Nina who has double ident it y called as dissociative identity disorder when she has to embody two characters in a project of a ballet show. This research, therefore aims to interpret the meaning of signs that represent Nina’s dissociative identity disorder in Black Swan. This research employs semiot ic theory by Peirce. Semiot ics is the study of signs. Everyt hing can be signs while it is interpreted as a sign. According to Peirce, sign is divided into three: icon, index and symbol. Dissociative identity disorder concept is also applies to find in the scenes that indicate Nina’s dissociative identity disorder.The result of this research found that there are three modes of signs in Black Swan. Those three modes of signs show that Black Swan tells about Nina’s dissociative identity disorder. Nina’s dissociative ident it y disorder signs portray three symptoms of dissociative identity disorder which come from Nina’s appearance changes, Nina’s behavior changes, and hallucinations.The writer suggests that the next researchers who want to use the same object that is movie, to apply other approaches such as psychological approach to interpret signs. By applying that approach it is expected that the research will be more comprehensive

Dominasi bisa terjadi di berbagai bidang seperti politik, hukum, ekonomi, budaya, agama, kesehatan, pendidikan, olahraga, dan lain-lain.Pada penulisan skripsi ini penulis membahas tentang dominasi yang dilakukan oleh klan bangsawan Fujiwara dan bertujuan untuk mengetahui apa saja yang dilakukan oleh klan bangsawan ini untuk mendominasi dan menguasai seluruh kehidupan di zaman Heian. Pada penyusunan skripsi ini penulis menggunakan metode penelitian sosiologi sastra,khususnya yang berkaitan dengan hubungan karya sastra dengan kehidupan masyarakat. Dalam skripsi ini sendiri, dominasi yang dilakukan oleh klan Fujiwara merupakan suatu gambaran kelompok masyarakat yang mendominasi sehingga menjadi suatu kelompok masyarakat yang kuat dan berkuasa di zaman Heian.Berdasarkan temuan dan analisa dari novel tersebut, menunjukkan bahwa kondisi zaman Heian yang kacau balau disebabkan karena klan Fujiwara yang berkuasa pada zaman Heian sangat mendominasi di seluruh segi kehidupan dan pemerintahan, khususnya dalam bidang politik, bidang ekonomi, dan juga bidang hukum

In addition, comic as entertainment can also be primarily used as a means to express the feelings, depict events or criticize events that had happened in a current time. In the comic entitled the Adventure of Tintin: Reporter for Le PetitVingtieme in the Congo there are some countertypes appear in the story inserted by the writer. In this research, the researcher presented two problems of the studies, the first is whatthe countertypes done by the Belgian are and second is how the social condition influences the story of the comic is. Those problems of study will be the object of this research.In this research, the researcher used sociological approach to know the socialcondition in the country as the setting of the comic. The researcher used theory ofstereotype from Nachbar and Lause in a book entitled Popular Culture: An Introductory Text (1992). This theory explains about how the image of a group is created.In findings, the researcher found that things or actions done by the Belgian in the comic is to show that they are kind people. Those are in contrast from the reality where in fact Belgium was the colonizers.The researcher suggests the next researcher to discuss the politic issue using theory of hegemony. It is will be discus about the portrayal of Tintin as representation of Belgian which always helps the Congolese in the comic. Those things are used to erase the bad experiences and used by Belgium to keeps the relation between Congo,because Congo has so many nature resources that will be taken by Belgium and willgives benefit for Belgium
KONFLIK EKSTERNAL PADA TOKOH SUGURO DALAM NOVEL SUKYANDARU KARYA SHUSAKU ENDO

Konflik eksternal ini dialami oleh Suguro, tokoh utama dalam novel Sukyandaru. Novel ini menceritakan tentang Suguro yang seorang novelis terkenal yang dipermalukan oleh seorang wanita yang mabuk pada pesta penyerahan hadiah kesusasteraan untuk sebuah novelnya. Wanita itu mengaku mengenalnya, dan mengatakan bahwa Suguro sering berkunjung ke kawasan mesum, dari sinilah muncul konflik. Konflik yang paling banyak muncul adalah konflik eksternal yang dijadikan sumber data penelitian. Â Permasalahan yang dibahas dalam penelitian ini adalah bagaimana konflik eksternal yang mempengaruhi tokoh Suguro dalam novel Sukyandaru karya Shusaku Endo. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan konflik eksternal yang mempengaruhi tokoh Suguro dalam novel Sukyandaru karya Shusaku Endo. Untuk menganalisi masalah konflik eksternal tersebut, peneliti menggunakan metode deskriptif analisis dengan teori tokoh dan penokohan, alur cerita serta konflik eksternal.Hasil penelitian ini adalah sebagai berikut: (1) Konflik eksternal yang terjadi pada Suguro antara lain konflik dengan Ishiguro Hina, konflik dengan Kobari dan Nyonya Naruse. (2) Konflik Suguro dengan Ishiguro Hina memberikan dampak kredibilitasnya sebagai seorang pengarang dipertaruhkan karena Suguro mulai diragukan oleh teman-temannya. Konflik Suguro dengan Kobari membuat Suguro merasa terancam dan khawatir skandal dan keburukannya akan tersebar sedangkan konflik Suguro dengan Nyonya Naruse menyebabkan Suguro menjadi orang yang tidak bisa mengenal dirinya sendiri
KERUSAKAN LINGKUNGAN YANG TERDAPAT DALAM FILM KAZE NO TANI NO NAUSHIKA KARYA HAYAO MIYAZAKI
Get PDFKata Kunci: Film, Hayao Miyazaki, Kaze no Tani no Naushika, Kerusakan  lingkungan Film Kaze no Tani no Naushika merupakan film fiksi yang terinspirasi dari keadaan lingkungan di Jepang pada masa itu. Mengkritik bagaimana kondisi lingkungan di Jepang setelah era industri dan pencemaran lingkungan dari industri tersebut, sebagai contohnya pencemaran limbah merkuri di teluk Minamata. Di dalam film tersebut diceritakan oleh sosok Naushika yang sangat cinta dengan lingkungan di Lembah Angin yang memerangi bangsa Pejite dan Tolmeikan yang mencoba merusak alam. Maka penulis tertarik untuk mendeskripsikan masalah-masalah lingkungan tersebut dalam film Kaze no Tani no Naushika. Dalam menganalisa penelitian ini penulis menggunakan teori kritik lingkungan menurut Longman, Garrad dan Harsono, kemudian beberapa unsur dari teori Mise-en-scene menurut ahli film berkebangsaan Perancis. Teknik pengambilan gambar menurut Widagdo dan Winastwan. Untuk penelitian terdahulu penulis menggunakan penelitian dari saudara Indrawardana mahasiswa Universitas Brawijaya (2012) yang berjudul “Isu Lingkungan Hidup Dalam Komik Doraemon Petualangan Seri 12: Nobita dan Kerajaan Awanâ€. Setelah dilakukan penelitian, penulis menemukan beberapa poin penting terhadap kerusakan lingkungan dalam film tersebut yaitu, kerusakan hutan, masalah pencemaran udara, masalah pencemaran air oleh limbah hasil industri, dan dampak bencana alam yang digambarkan oleh Ohmu. Bencana alam yang digambarkan Ohmu yaitu, monster raksasa yang menyerang seluruh wilayah yang dihuni oleh manusia hingga semua tempat-tempat tersebut hancur.Terdapat beberapa kerusakan lingkungan yang disebabkan oleh Bangsa Tolmeikan dan Pejite yaitu, dengan membakar hutan mengakibatkan dampak yang sangat besar bagi lingkungan Lembah Angin. Terbakarnya hutan mengakibatkan udara dan air menjadi tercemar karena hutan tidak bisa lagi menetralkan udara dan air tersebut. Kerusakan lingkungan tersebut sangat berdampak pada kehidupan makhluk hidup di Lembah Angin tak terkecuali
RIZWAN KHAN’S STRUGGLES AGAINST NEGATIVE STEREOTYPES LABELED TO MOSLEM AMERICANS IN MY NAME IS KHAN MOVIE

However it is possible that different group of people will have a different assessment to the other groups, it can be positive and negative. The writer conducts a study of stereotypes in the movie entitled My Name Is Khan . The movie shows the phenomena occurring in America after the tragedy of 9/11. There is a problem that will be answered in this study, namely Khan’s struggle against negative stereotypes labeled to Moslem Americans in My Name is Khan Movie. This study uses the theory of stereotypes to analyze the data for discovering the kinds of stereotype suffered by Moslems in America.The results of the study shows that there are three struggles made by the main character, Khan, to fight against negative stereotypes, (1) In the fight against this stereotype, Khan tries to explain to everyone that his name is Khan and he is not a terrorist, (2) Khan tries to tell a group of people at the mosque that think Moslems are not radical, but a peaceful religion, (3) Khan tries to help others regardless of differences in race, religion and color of skin, so the assumption of most Americans who think that Moslems are difficult to mingle with other people is not true.In conclusion all the assumptions and negative stereotypes directed towards Moslem is not true and it can be proved by the struggles made by Khan to fight against negative stereotypes labeled to Moslem Americans. Thus, the writer suggests to another researcher to conduct further research Discrimination by using discrimination theories to analyze this movie, for example by using discrimination theory to reveal whether there is a discrimination to create bad image towards moslems in America
