PENGARUH REKAYASA MEDIA TANAM DAN PEMANGKASAN TERHADAP KUALITAS VISUAL DAN FUNGSIONAL RUMPUT Zoysia matrella
Excellent condition of soccer field was influenced by grass condition as primary factor. Indonesian soccer field which is have international standard used manila grass (Zoysia matrella). At the moment, management of soccer field does not have any standard which can be use as reference.This research was aimed to study influence of difference composition planting medium, fertilizing, and mowing on the grass growth to fulfill the quality standars of visual and functional soccer field’s grass, and give recommendation of manila grass management related to planting medium, fertilizing, and mowing. This research conducted in University Farm of Bogor Agricultural University which located in Loji, Sindang Barang, West Bogor.Methods that used was planted the grass in plot area and gave the treatment according to experimental design. Observation data analysed by randomize group design with three factors to know the interaction of treatment to grass growth seen from visual and functional qualities parameter. The result shows interaction of three treatment factors was not significant. Significant influence was only detected in one or two treatment factors, but the significant influence was not seen at all in each observation variables. It was recommended for manila turfgrass using medium of sand, fertilizing 5 g/m2N, 2,5 g/m2 P2O5, and 2,5 g/m2 K2O once a months, and mowing at height of 2 c
DETEKSI PERUBAHAN RUANG TERBUKA HIJAU PADA 5 KOTA BESAR DI PULAU JAWA (Studi kasus : DKI JAKARTA, KOTA BANDUNG, KOTA SEMARANG, KOTA JOGJAKARTA, DAN KOTA SURABAYA)
Some major cities in Java Island such as DKI Jakarta, Bandung, Semarang, Yogyakarta and Surabaya showed rapid growth. It was mainly due to fast economic and population growth. In those cities, it was reported that the economic and population growth are around 6-7% and 1.5 – 2.5% respectively. The economic and population growth will increase the need of land for development of economic centers and residences. This situation will cause land use change especially in greenery open space. The objective of this study is to detect the change of greenery open space in five major cities in Java Island: DKI Jakarta, Bandung City, Semarang City, Yogyakarta City, and Surabaya City.This study found that greenery open space in DKI Jakarta decreased by 57.5% within a period of 31 years from 1982 to 2013 or about 1.8% / year. In Bandung City greenery open space decreased by 42% within a period of 22 years from 1991 to 2013 or about 2% / year. Greenery open space in Yogyakarta also decreased. Within a period of 41 years from 1972 to 2013 there was a decrease of 28% or 1.5% / year. Different situation was found in Semarang City and Surabaya City. In Semarang City, there was an increase of 62% of greenery open space within a period of 13 years from 2000 to 2013 or 4.7% / year. While in Surabaya City, greenery open space increased by 116% within a period of 13 years from 2000 to 2013 or 8.9% / year
KAJIAN POTENSI LANSKAP JALUR KERETA REL LISTRIK (KRL) BOGOR -JAKARTA KOTA SEBAGAI KORIDOR PERGERAKAN BURUNG
ABSTRACTCorridors are narrow strips of land which differ from the matrix on either side. There are two types of corridors, namely linear corridor and stepping stone. One example of corridor is a landscape along the path of KRL Railway Bogor-Jakarta Kota. Corridor is important for bird movement. Nowadays there is habitat fragmentation along the corridor which is threatened their corridor function. Therefore it should be maintained for sustainable corridor. This study was conducted at corridor along the KRL Railway Bogor-Jakarta Kota which is divided into five segment. Three analyses were used in this study, i.e. corridor distribution analysis, vegetation analysis and bird abundance analysis. Stepping stone corridor has higher number of bird abundance than the linear corridor. Both of corridors have the potential to become a habitat of birds which is indicated by abundance species of birds. The highest abundance of a bird was found in corridor with diversity of plants (Shannon Wienner Index) in the medium level. EVALUASI KUALITAS VISUAL DAN FUNGSIONAL RUMPUT LAPANGAN SEPAKBOLA
ABSTRACT Soccer is one of the popular sport around the world. Nowaday, Indonesia has more or less 170 soccer fields. Soccer requires fileds with excellent turfgrass which comply quality standards. This study was aimed to evaluate visual and functional qualities of soccer field, and propose recommendations related to management of soccer field that can fulfill visual and functional qualities. This study was conducted at three soccer stadiums namely Gelora Bung Karno Stadium (Jakarta), Si Jalak Harupat Stadium (Bandung), and Maguwoharjo Stadium (Yogyakarta). Survey and sampling methods were used together with interview method. Sampling based on parameter of visual and functional qualities. Then, analyzed by compare the data with standard quality. Planting medium and leaves samples has taken to laboratory analyzed. Grass quality of Maguwoharjo Stadium has the lowest quality than the others because the shortage of fertilizer condition in planting medium. Consequently, it affected grass growth and performance. Bades on the existing problems, some improvements of planting medium fertility were needed to get the optimal growth and performance in Maguwoharjo Stadium, such as adding the lime and compost or zeolit into planting media to increase the soil pH and CEC (Cation Exchange Capacity).Keywords: Fertilizing, mowing, planting medium, soccer grass field, visual and functional qualitie
DESAIN ARTWORK PADA TAMAN PULAU DAN MEDIAN JALAN DI JALAN MEDAN MERDEKA JAKARTA
Open space is a part of the community\u27s needs for leisure. Open space can have many forms and functions. One of them is the traffic island and street median. Traffic Island and street median has potential as a media of display to form character and give a mental map for an area. Character of a region can be shaped with elements inside, one of these with the placement of the artwork. Artwork can be a an element mental map to guide a person to move from one point to other, especially in big cities such as Jakarta. The Medan Merdeka road is surrounded by traffic islands, up to now still not have character and appeal to form a mental map of its users. This study aims to create the artwork design can shape the character and attitudes docket in the Medan Merdeka Area. This activity is carried out on the grounds of The Medan Merdeka region in 16 weeks with the method of direct observation and interviews. The Output from this research includes the design artwork on the traffic Island to has function as a mental map in the area
KARATERISTIK HABITAT MUSIM DINGIN SIKEP MADU ASIA (PERNIS PTYLORHYNCHUS) DI TALAGA BODAS, JAWA BARAT BERBASIS DATA SATELLITE TRACKING
ABSTRACTOriental Honey Buzzards (OHBs, Pernis ptilorhynchus) are migratory raptors which have wintering grounds in Indonesia. OHBs’ wintering habitats can be divided into core and edge habitats with unique landscape characteristics, which influence wintering site selection.TalagaBodasandsurroundingareahas beenidentifiedas wintering habitat of OHB based satellite tracking data. Theobjective of this study were to: 1) modeling the distribution of wintering habitat of OHB in Talaga Bodas; 2) analyzemicro habitats of vegetationaspect inTalagaBodas; 3) implications of wintering habitatmanagement inWest Java. Main methodology was combining satellite-tracking data of OHB with the GIS/remote sensing datausing logistic regression model. 18 Environmental variable used in this study include nearest distance to the elevation (0-300m, 300-500m, 500-700m, 700-1000m, >1000m),slope (0-3%, 3-8%, 8-15%, 15-25%, 25-40%, >40%) and landcover (water body, paddy field,abandon land,settlement,shrub,plantation,forest). Only 7 variables were detected as important variable for characteririzing the distribution of wintering habitat. Wintering habitat distribution model werepredominantly influenced by 1) slope 25%-40%, 2) elevation 0-300 m, 3) elevation 300-500 m, 4) elevation >1000 m, 5) forest, 6) paddy field and 7) water body. The results of the vegetation analysis’s known that the core habitat biodiversity tend to have less variable than the edge habitats.The results ofthis studywillbe usedformanagement ofwinteringhabitat for OHB.Key words:logistic regression, oriental honey-buzzards, satellite tracking, talaga bodas, wintering habita
ADAPTASI ANATOMIS POHON PADA ROOF GARDEN (Studi Kasus: Kondominium Taman Anggrek, Jakarta)
Roof garden can be interpreted as garden residing in a roof top. Not all plants can survive living on roof tops. The plants which can be planted in roof gardens have to be adaptive to high speed of wind, extreme temperature, and high intensity of irradiation. Objective of this research is to learn environmental influence of stress that induced anatomical adaptation of tree spesies (i.e Bauhinia sp., Erythrina christagalli, Mussaenda sp.and Wodyetia bifurcata) at roof garden in Taman Anggrek condominium, Jakarta.Plants which are planted in normal garden will response differently with the ones in roof garden. Different plants have their own adaptation form that can be visible from their anatomy. The result of this research is Bauhinia sp. shows a better adaptation in roof garden, Wodyetia bifurcata can adapt well, while Erythrina christagalli and Mussaenda sp. cannot adapt well in roof garden. A simple visualisation value concluded that Bauhinia sp. has a better shape, then the others. After all, this study should be completed with research of more physiological pattern and a complete assesment of tree visualisation
PERANAN RISET DAN PENINGKATAN KETERAMPILAN ARSITEK LANSKAP DALAM MENGHADAPI PENERAPAN KONSEP GREEN BUILDING
Implementation of Green building concept is expected to promote the progress of industrial property and the role of the experts whose involved in the process, including Landscape Architects. Instead benchmark valuation increasing over time, with the current version of the assessment in Indonesia, the role of landscape design can contribute up to 12% of the total value. Criteria that require the involvement of Landscape Architects primarily related to the basic green areas poin, site landscaping poin, and water efficient landscaping poin. Poin and the benchmark is still potential to increase along with the relevance rating systemically so that will indirectly addvalue to other criteria such as energy and overalls Thermal Transfer Value (OTTV). This is not related, but not directly with developing standards in landscape design. The development of this standard requires further research, such as Indonesianregional plant data, technologies and methods of irrigation, landscape maintenance techniques, and the reconciliation of the standardization of regulations which spread as the various standards that are adopted from another country. By increasing the quality and quantity of research in the field of landscape architecture and landscape plants, is expected to improve the quality of green building practices toward higher standardsand still have its own characteristics of Indonesia
