KEKERABATAN GENETIK 15 AKSESI PLASMA NUTFAH KARET HASIL EKSPEDISI 1981 BERDASARKAN PENANDA MOLEKULER
The high genetic variability is important to produced the new improved rubber clones . To get superior progenies can be obtained by crossing between long genetic distance parental. At the present, rubber clones comes from the genetic materials of Wickham expedition in 1876. To increase the genetic diversity of the rubber, has been carried out expeditions to Brazil through organization of IRRDB ( International Rubber Research and Development Board ) in 1981 . A total of 15 selected accessions of IRRDB materials will be used in breeding programs to assemble the more productive superior clones in the future . Genetic information can be found by using molecular markers by RAPD technique. The purpose of study to determine the genetic distance of 15 germplasm accessions of the expedition IRRDB 1981 and two clones ( PB 260 and BPM 24 ) as compared of Wickham materials. The results showed there is a 75 % genetic similarity ( 25 % genetic distance ) which have two main groups , namely 10 accessions IRRDB materials divided into four subgroups and 5 accessions of IRRDB with 2 accessions of Wickham in other groups. On genetic similarity coefficient ? 95 % , accession PN 5579 has the closest relationship to the materials Wickham ( clone PB 260 and BPM 24 ) , while in IRRDB group are between the accession PN 5808 with PN 807 , PN 803 with PN 1582, PN 5814 with PN 5819 and PN 5788 with PN 5575 .Keywords: rubber, genetic relationship, germplasm, moleculer marke
PEMBUATAN SHORTENING DARI CAMPURAN RBD STEARIN DENGAN MINYAK INTI SAWIT SECARA GLISEROLISIS MENGGUNAKAN KATALIS ENZIM LIPASE DARI DEDAK PADI
AbstractGlycerolysis reaction involves intramoleculer and intermolecular exchange of acyl groups among triglicerides resulting in the changes on the physical and chemical properties of the result triglicerides. Preparation shortening of the mixture of stearin RBD and palm kernel oil by glycerolysis using lipase enzyme as catalyzed from rice bran, in order to obtain the products that that meets the quality standards of shortening the measurement of melting point analysis was performed. The shortening produced from the mixture of the stearin RBD and palm kernel oil by glycerolysis in the mol ratio of 1:1:4, 2:2:4, 3:3:4 and 4:4:4 the melting poit was 37.2, 38.5, 40.2 and 41.50C respectively, the solid fat content at 400C was 1.80, 2.50, 5.38 and 6.15% respectively. The study indicated that rice bran as source of lipase enzyme can be use as a catalyst by glycerolysis reaction in shortening preparation.Keywords: shortening, rbd stearin, palm kernel oil, glyserolisys, lipase
THE POTENTIAL BENEFITS OF EIGHT GENOTYPE MATERIAL AMAZON 1981 PLANT RUBBER (Hevea brasiliensis Muell.-Arg.)
This research was conducted at the Research Center Plantation Sungei Putih from May to August 2014. The purpose of this study was to determine the potential benefits of Amazon 1981 eight genotypes material rubber tree (Hevea brasiliensis Muell.-Arg). This study uses a nested plot design (RPT). Genotypes germplasm used is PN 4578, PN 4676, PN 5819, PN 5778, PN 4543, PN 4648, PN 4808, PN 3718 and PB 260 as clones comparison. From the results of the evaluation of the origin of the Amazon eight genotypes selected in 1981 at the age of 12 years showed that genotype PN 4578 and PN 5778 has the best performance compared to PB 260 clones comparison with the range of results of dry rubber g / p / s (31.25 to 32.83 g), girth (59.78 to 65.86 cm), thick skin (8 mm) and the number of latex vessel rings (33.33 to 35.17). Genotype PN 4676 resulted in a very high wood with a potential total timber volume reached 1.53 m3/tree. Genotype PN 4578 and PN 5778 is a rubber cultivars that have the potential advantage of latex production, while the PN 4676 is the best genotype as a producer of wood. The genotypes that can be developed, especially in the breeding program to assemble rubber clones and more productive as a producer of latex and timber.Keywords: potential, genotype material Amazon, rubbe
RESPONSE GROWTH AND PRODUCTION OF SWEET CORN (Zea mays saccharata Sturt) AGAINST THE GRANTING OF LIQUID ORGANIC TEMPE WASTE FERTILIZER AND LIQUID BIOLOGICAL FERTILIZER
The aim of this study was to evaluate response growth and production of sweet corn(Zea mays saccharataSturt) on the provision of tempe waste liquid organic fertilizer and liquid biological fertilizer. This study used a randomized factorial design with two factors, namely Liquid Organic Fertilizer Waste Tempe (T0 = control,T1 = 1 ltr/2 ltr of water/plot, T2 = 2 ltr/2 ltr of water/plot andT3 = 3 ltr/2 ltr of water/plot) and Liquid Biological Fertilizer (A0 = Control,A1 = 5 ml/3 ltr of water/plot,A2 = 10 ml/3 ltr of water/plot,A3 = 15 ml/3 ltr of water/plot) treatment repeated three times. Data were analyzed by using analysis of variance followed by different test Mean according to Duncan (DMRT) at 5% level. The results showed that provision of Liquid Organic Fertilizer Waste Tempe significantly affected plant height parameters between 2 and 4 weeks after planting (WAP), number of leaves (6 WAP)and diameter of the cob after harvesting. Provision of Liquid Biological Fertilizer significantly effected on plant height (4 WAP), stem diameter (6 WAP), leaf area (48 days after planting), cob weight, 100seed weight and diameter of the cob. The interaction between the factors giving of Liquid Organic FertilizerTempe waste and liquid bio fertilizer significantly effected on plant height (4 WAP) and the diameter of the cob after harvesting.Key words: liquid organic fertilizer, liquid biological fertilizer, growth and crop production
PENGARUH KONSENTRASI EKSTRAK BAWANG MERAH DAN AIR KELAPA TERHADAP PERTUMBUHAN STEK TANAMAN MELATI PUTIH (Jasminum sambac L.)
This study aims to determine the effect of shallots extract and coconut water as well as the interaction between shallots extract and coconut water on the growth jasmine plant by using randomized design group with two factors studied namely : coconut water (A) which consist of four standard that A0 = without giving, A1 = concentration 20% (200 cc/l), A2 = concentration 25 % (250 cc/l), A3 = concentration 30 % (300 cc/l) while shallots extract (B) which consist of four standard that B0 = without giving, A1 = concentration 0,5 % (5 cc/l), A2 = concentration 1 % (10 cc/l), A3 = concentration 1,5 % (15 cc/l). coconut water as the first factor and shallots extract as a second factor.Key words : growth, jasmine, coconut water, shallots extrac
UTILIZATION OF CABBAGE WASTE (Brassica oleracea) AS A PRESERVATIVE OF PARROT FISH (Oreochromis sp)
The research on the utilization of cabbage (Brassica oleracea) waste as a preservative tilapia (Oreochromis sp) with RAL factorial method with 2 replications.The first factor is NaCl concentration (K) which consists of 4 levels, namely: K1 = 1%, K2 = 2%, 3% = K3, K4 = 4%. Factor II is storage time (L) which consists of 4 levels, namely: L1 = 2 days, L2 = 4 days, L3 = 6 days, L4 = 8 days. The parameters observed from the data analysis showed that NaCl concentration and storage time significantly affected the protein content, moisture content, organoleptic aroma, texture organoleptic tests, organoleptic color.Keywords: utilization, cabbage waste, preservative, parrot fis
THE INFLUENCE OF LIQUID ORGANIC FERTILIZER AND SOLID WASTE ( SLUDGE ) ON GROWTH AND PRODUCTION OF TOMATOES (Solanum lycopersicum L.)
The objective of this research was to find out the influence of liquid organic fertilizer and solid waste (sludge) to growth and production tomatoes (SolanumLycopersicum L.). Pure varieties were used in this research. This research carried out by using a group random design (SHELVES) Factorial with two factors that are examined, factors giving Multiguna exclusively with 3 level, namely: Mo = Without treatment, M1 =2 ml/1 liter of water, M2 = 4 ml/1liter water. Factors giving Solid waste ( sludge ) with 3 level, namely: S0 = Without treatment, S1 = 3 kg/assassinations, S2 = 6 kg/plots. This research done by using 3 deuteronomy, the number of plants per plot 6 plants, the number of plant samples per plot 3 plants, the number of plots or 27 assassinations, the distance between plots or 50 cm, distance between deuteronomy 100 cm, long-term plots or 150 cm, wide plots or 1 m, wide plots or 100 cm x 150 cm, distance 40 x 40 cm, the number of plants altogether 216 plants, the number of plant samples 81 plants. The result showed liquid organic fertilizer with the dose 4 ml/liter water affected the plants, the highest 53.78 cm, the number of fruit per plant most is 13.12 fruit. Heavy fruit per plant most severe is 333.89 g Solid waste (sludge) have effected on tomatoes, the highest is 50.78 cm, there is no interaction between the liquid organic fertilizer and solid waste (sludge) to all parameters that are measured.Keywords: tomato, fertilizer multiguna exclusive, solid waste ( sludge

The first aim of this study was to determine the influence of factors of production land , labor , seeds , fertilizers to farmers' income , secondly the feasibility of farming , knowing the third line trading system . Research by census sampling method takes all the existing population . Data were analyzed with the Cobb Douglass function , input output ratio and descriptive . The results showed that simultaneous production factors land , labor , seeds , fertilizer significantly affect earnings at 95% confidence level . Partially land and fertilizer significantly affect earnings , while labor and seedlings did not significantly affect earnings . Value of input output ratio of 4.43 means very viable farming gelugur acid . AbstractThis study was aimed to determine the response of vegetative growth and yield of Mask Melon (Cucumis melo L.) grown on poor soil affected by the application of Biodegradable Super Absorbent Polymer combined with compound fertilizer (NPK 16-16-16). The study was carried out in Marelan Research Centre, PT. Sentana Adidaya Pratama (PT. SADP), Marelan Street-Pasar V (Bumi Permai Housing Complex), Medan with the altitude of 4 meter above sea level. The experimental design used was a non factorial Randomized Complete The parameters measured were plant height (cm), initial flowering time (day), harvesting time (day), fruit weight (g), fruit diameter (cm) and number of fruits produced per plot (fruit). Based on the results data analysis on the respond of vegetative growth and yield of Mask Melon (Cucumis melo L.) affected by various treatments combination of Biodegradable Super Absorbent Polymer and compound fertilizer (NPK 16-16-16) in poor nutrient soil, among treatments tested did not give any significant effect on the parameters measured such as plant height, initial flowering time, harvesting time, fruit weight, fruit diameter and number of fruits produced per plotKeywords: Mask Melon, BSAP and NP
PENGARUH PEMBERIAN PUPUK KANDANG SAPI DAN PUPUK ABG TERHADAP PERTUMBUHAN DAN PRODUKSI TIMUN (Cucumis sativus L.)
Research of the effect of cow manure and fertilizer on the growth and production ABG cucumber has been conducted on Tuar street, in the field trials of Agriculture Faculty, University of Muhammadiyah Sumatera Utara street Tuar , District of Amplas with altitude of 27 meters above sea level with a factorial randomized block design ( RAK - F ) with two treatment factors studied were Granting Manure factor ( K ) which consists of four levels, namely : K0 , K1 , K2 , K3 and Fertilizer factors Giving ABG ( A ) which consists of four levels, namely : A0 , A1 , A2 , A3 . Cow manure treatment showed significant effect on the length of the plant , harvest , fruit length , fruit diameter , fruit weight per plant but did not show a marked influence on the observation of the number of fruits per plant . ABG fertilizer treatment showed significant effect on the length of the plant , fruit length , fruit diameter , fruit weight per plant but showed no significant effect on harvest age and number of fruits per plant . Interaction between cow manure and fertilizer ABG showed a significant effect on plant length , fruit length , fruit diameter , fruit weight per plant , harvest , number of fruits per plant .Keywords : cow manure , fertilizer ABG , growth , production , cucumbe
