AbstractThe results showed that the value of the coefficient of determination R-square 0.93, can be interpreted that the simultaneous possession of fishing gear status factors, capital, work ethic and marketing types mentioned above were able to explain changes in fishing revenues 93%. Partially work ethic and marketing factors significantly affect the value t count t table. While the status of the fishing gear and ownership of capital does not significantly affect the value of t calculated t table against the income of fishermen in the 95% confidence level (a = 5%).Key words: marketing, income of fisherme
ANALYSIS OF PRODUCTION INPUT EFFECT ON THE PRODUCTION OF CONNECTED CASSAVA FARMING BUSINESS
The aim of this study was to identify the influences of production inputs (land, seed, fertilizer solid, liquid fertilizers, herbicides, and labor) to the continued production of cassava farming and to identify the level of income from farming cassava farmers in Silau Rakyat Village Sei Rampah Resort Serdang Bedagai. Sampling method using census method which takes all the population. The data analysis method used is the multiple linear regression analysis and analysis of revenues. The results showed that the use of production inputs in the study area simultaneously affecting cassava production continued. While partially affecting cassava production is continued land, seeds and liquid fertilizer, while not affecting cassava production is continued solid fertilizers, herbicides and labor. PENGARUH KONSENTRASI DAN INTERVAL WAKTU PEMBERIAN PUPUK ORGANIK CAIR (POC) NASA TERHADAP PERTUMBUHAN DAN PRODUKSI JAGUNG MANIS (Zea mays saccharata Sturt)
AbsrtactThe study aims to evaluate the growth response and production of sweet corn with the treatment concentration and time interval giving NASA POC at a different level. Group Randomized Factorial Design (RAK-F) with two factors were studied, namely: Liquid Organic Fertilizer Concentration Factors NASA (N) is divided into four standard No = No provision, N1 = 1.13 ml / 0.5 l of water / plot, N2 = 2.26 ml / 0.5 l of water / plot, N3 = 3.39 ml / 0.5 l of water / plot, Giving time and interval factors NASA POC (I) is divided into 3 time ie I1 = 1-week, I2 = 2 weeks and I3 = 3 weeks. While the parameters observed were plant height (cm), number of leaves (pieces), cob length (cm), production per plot (kg), and contains a number of seeds per cob (seeds). The results showed that the concentration of POC NASA administration significantly influenced the parameters plant height, cob length, yield per plot, and contains a number of seeds per cob, but not significant different in the parameters of the leaf. As for the interval timing of NASA POC is not a real effect on all parameters of the observations. PERANAN WANITA TANI TERHADAP PENERAPAN PROGRAM PENYULUH PERTANIAN
AbstractResearch on the role of women farmers towards the implementation of agricultural extension program has been carried out using a simple random method (Simple Random Sampling). The results of hypothesis testing and calculation of Multiple Linear Regression Obtained by Multiple R value of 0.94 or 94%. Calculated F values obtained for 52.405 and table F value of 2.70. Then F calculated F table, the 95% confidence level. The test results with the t test for age significantly influenced the implementation of agricultural extension program to calculate the t values obtained 2.215 and 1.71 t table (t count t table). The test results with the t test for education does not significantly affect the implementation of agricultural extension program to calculate the t values obtained -4.360 and 1.71 t table (t calculated t table). The test results with the t test for experience not significantly affect the implementation of agricultural extension program to calculate the t values obtained 0.547 and 1.71 t table (t calculated t table). The test results with the t test for the number of dependents significantly affect the implementation of agricultural extension program to calculate the t values obtained 3.205 and 1.71 t table (t count t table). PENGARUH FAKTOR SOSIAL EKONOMI TERHADAP PENDAPATAN PETANI JAGUNG
The aims of this study was to determine the effect of socioeconomic factors on the income of corn farmers and to know the corn farming efficiency in Lau Tawar Village, District Tanah Pinem, Dairi. Sampling method used was a random sampling method to take a simple random. Data analysis method used was multiple linear regression analysis. The results of the study based on the results of multiple linear regression analysis were significantly influence between the land and labor of the corn farmers income and there is no real influence or not significant between the capital, farming experience and the number of dependents of the corn farmers income. THE EFFECT OF MORINGA LEAVES FLOUR AND ROASTING TIME ON THE QUALITY OF COOKIES MOCAF (Modified Cassava Flour)
This study aims to determine the effect of addition moringa leaf powder and long roasting on the quality of biscuit from mocaf. The research uses Complete Randomized Design (CRD) factorial with (2) two replication. Factor I is addition of moringa leaf powder with password (T) which consists of 4 standard, namely : T0 = 0%, T1 = 3%, T2 = 6%, and T3 =9%. Factor II is long roasting with password (L) which consists of 4 standard, namely : L1 = 5 minute, L2 = 10 minute, L3 = 15 minute, and L4 = 20 minute. Parameter analyzed were : protein, carbohydrate, organoleptic : colour, aroma, and taste. Statistical analysis result on each parameter gives the following conclusion : the higest protein 7,096% in treatment T3 and the lowest protein 5,827% in treatment T0. The higest protein 7,233% in treatment L4 and the lowest protein 5,982% in treatment L1. The higest carbohydrate 69,408% in teratment T3 and the lowest carbohydrate 68,620% in treatment T0. The higest carbohydrate 69,225% in teratment L4 dan the lowest carbohydrate 68,782% in treatment L1. The higest colour 3,575 in treatment T0 and the lowest colour 3,062 in treatment T3. The higest colour 3,512 in teratment L4 and lowest colour 3,062 in treatment L1. The higest aroma 3,286 in treatment T0 and lowest aroma 2,362 in treatment T3. The higest aroma 2,998 in treatment L4 and the lowest aroma 2,640 in treatment L1. The higest taste 4,980 in treatment T0 and the lowest taste 2,552 in treatment T3. PENGARUH BERBAGAI JENIS BAHAN PEMBENAH TANAH TERHADAP INFEKTIVITAS BAKTERI RHIZOBIUM YANG BERSIMBIOSIS DENGAN KEDELAI PADA GAMBUT
The peat soil is very potential to be developed, but in other side, the peat soil has some problems that so complex, namely the ugly physical characteristic, chemical and biological, in that case, to use as a farmland, some of its characteristic that influence on the plants need to be repaired. The purpose of this research to look at the influence of some soil repairer materials types to the infectivity of Bradyrhizobium. The research was conducted in the greenhouse of the USU Agriculture Faculty since March to November 2008. This research uses the non-factorial completely randomized design which consists of 13 treatments and two repeats. The treatments tested include, control (A0), dolomite lime (A1), sea mud (A2), lime + sea mud (A3), Bradyrhizobium (A4), mos (A5), Isolates mycorrhizal of peat soil (A6), isolates mycorrhizal of the mineral soil (A7), Bradyrhizobium+mos (A8), mos + Isolates mycorrhizal of peat soil (A9), mos+ isolates mycorrhizal of the mineral soil (A10), Bradyrhizobium+mos+ Isolates mycorrhizal of peat soil (A11), Bradyrhizobium+mos+ Isolates mycorrhizal of mineral soil (A12). The variable observed that is amount of root nodules / pot. The variable is analyzed non-factorial with the Excel program, the further testing of DMRTI. KAJIAN EKSTRAK TUNAS BAMBU DAN TAUGE TERHADAP PERTUMBUHAN TANAMAN KELAPA SAWIT (Elaeis guineensis Jacq.) PADA PEMBIBITAN PRE NURSERY
AbstractResearch was conducted using a randomized block design (RBD), non-factorial with 10 treatments and 3 replications and tested using Duncant Multiple Range Test (DMRT) to see the effect of extract of bamboo shoots and bean sprouts on the growth of oil palm seedlings in pre nursery with five measurement parameters namely plant height (cm), number of leaves (leaves), leaf area (cm2), seedling dry weight (grams) and seedling fresh weight (grams). In this study differences in the doses used in the treatment level is too low at 0.5 cc / l. So the difference of the data obtained is not significant between all treatment levels. But from the results of the study dose of 1 cc / l in the use of bamboo shoot extract is more effective for high growth, leaf number, leaf area, fresh weight and dry weight of oil palm seedlings, and in the use of effective sprouts extract on the growth of plant height and leaf area.Keywords: palm oil, ZPT, bamboo shoots. bean sprouts
ANALISIS FAKTOR FAKTOR YANG MEMPENGARUHI PRODUKSI JAGUNG
The experiment was conducted using the case study method. Aims to analyze how much influence the use of factors of production, namely land area (X1), seeds (X2), fertilizer (X3), the production of maize (Y). Value of coefficient of determination (R2) in this study was 0.99, meaning that the influence of the factors of production to production can be explained by the four independent variables (X) of 99%, the rest is explained by other factors outside of the study. F value - count 19.45 F-table at 2.78 level of 95% thus H1 is accepted and H0 is rejected. Simultaneously means there is a real influence among broad land, seed, fertilizer, and labor to the production of corn. Partially significantly affect seed production, while the area of land, fertilizer, and labor did not significantly affect corn production. From the calculation results obtained scale RTS value = 0.98, thus smaller than the RTS (?p 1) then this indicates a state of decreasing returns to scale, which means additional input of land, seed, fertilizer, and labor respectively - each additional 1% exceeded production by 0.98%.Keywords: factors of production, production, Return to Scal
STUDI PENGOLAHAN BIJI BUAH NANGKA DALAM PEMBUATAN MINUMAN INSTAN
This research objectives was to study the processing Nangka nut to produce Instant drinks. This research used Completed Randomized Design Factorial with two factors effect and two reflications. Thouse effects were level Natrium Metabisulfit concentrations(N0 = 0%;, N1 = 0,1%;N2 = 0,2%; dan N3 = 0,3%), and level of adding concentrations Maltodekstrin (M1= 4%;M2 = 6%; M3= 8%; dan ;M4= 10%) The results of the reasearch showed that Nangka fruit nut submerged in different concentration of Matabisulfit solutions did not cause the different significant effect to carbohydrate and Ash content of product. And other effect to Total Soluble Solid, Rendement, and Orgonoleptic value caushed the different significant effect. The adding Maltodextrin at different concentrations did not cause the different significant effect to carbohydrate of product.
