No full textThis research is aimed at developing active learning tools to improve the effectiveness of the instructional strategy lectures at the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education of State Institute for Islamic Studies (FITK IAIN) Mataram. The method of this research is research and development (R&D) that was started with the process of needs assessment, the design of prototype of active learning tools that were tested in the next process by meansof expert validation, one to one, small groups, whole class, and effectiveness trials. The result of the trials on the developed product showed that its use had been effectively improved the students contribution during teaching and learning activities if compared to the students contribution in conventional learning process

Get PDFThis study aims to produce training materials on the integration of information and communication technology in the teaching of mathematics. The method employed in the study is research and development. Assessment of experts and individual testing on the training materials generated recommendations for revisions. Accordingly, the results of the assessment can be classi ed in the very good category. The assessment results of small groups were very good. The results of eld trials indicate that trainings have signi cant implication for the increase of the trainees’ ability. Based on the results, it can be concluded that training materials on the integration of information technology and the teaching of mathematics have been tested and can be used in trainings for primary school teacher

Get PDFThe research was aimed to get information about learning strategies based on interpersonal intelligence on civics learning outcomes. The research was conducted on Au- gust until October 2012, at SMP Negeri 10 Bandar Lampung. The researh method used ex- perimental with treatment design by level 2 x 2. The results of research shows: (1) students’ civics learning outcomes who learned by using cooperative learning strategy are higher than those who learned by self – study learning strategy; (2) there is interaction effect be- tween learning strategies and interpersonal intelligence on civics learning outcomes; (3) students’ civics learning outcomes who have high interpersonal intelligence taught coop- erative learning strategy are higher than taught self-study learning strategy

No full textThe research’s aim was to develop model of training for childbirth preparation and parenting. The research was conducted at Women Centre Care Clinic in Panjalu Village in Bandung. The research and development used was mix method approach and indicated tha there were problems of parents readiness to face the changes of childbith and newborn baby care, ineffective of current antennal class. The learning strategy developed produced active and enjoyable learning, stimulated learner and facilitator enthusiasm. Learning products were useful for learning process, improved the participants’ intellectual and mental capacity in order to conduct the parents’ roles in childbirth process. Learning process provided conducive situation, built the parents responsibility to provide mother and father task in childbirth and newborn baby car

No full textThe objective of the research was to nd out the effects of elaboration instruction- al strategies toward student’s knowledge literacy. This research done by treatment by level design 2 x 2 conducted to 40 students at Alauddin Islamic State University of Makassar. The results found: (1) knowledge literacy students who learned with webquest are higher than without webquest: (2) there was an interaction effect between webquest usage and self-ef - cacy into student’s knowledge literacy; (3) on the group with higher level self-ef cacy, stu- dent’s knowledge literacy who learned with webquest are higher than who learned without webquest; and (4) on the group with lower level self-ef cacy, student’s knowledge literacy who learned with webquest are lower than who learned without webquest

The method used an R & D to design development Dick & Carey model of the modi ed software with a special method Software Development Life Cycle. In order to be validated in the academic and scienti c, the resulting software have tested through three stages of testing, namely testing as a soft- ware engineering, testing as a medium of learning and eld trials to test the effectiveness by using a quasi-experimental posttest-only control-group design to students majoring in engineering education informatics . The results showed that effective instructional media used to increase the level of student mastery of the material, and the student response was very positive

The participants were 36 students were divided into two treatment classes. Data analysis was Analysis of Covariat (ANCOVA).
