Get PDFThe aim of the research is to analyze the improvement of mathematical connection, problem solving, and mathematical communication skills by implementing structured inquiry-based learning. The questions to be answered are how the process of applying structured inquiry-based learning to improve the competence of mathematical connection, problem solving, and mathematical communication skills in the topic of Multiplication of grade I SD. Royal Tunas Mulia; how the development of mathematical connection, problem solving, and mathematical communication skills of students with the application of structured inquiry-based learning; what obstacles are found and how to overcome them.This study employed a Classroom Action Research carried out in three cycles. The subjects were 20 Grade 1 students of SD. Royal Tunas Mulia. The data was gathered by using observation, field notes, written tests, documentation and it was analyzed using qualitative descriptive and quantitative methods. The results showed that structured inquiry-based learning improves on the students’ mathematical connection, problem solving, and mathematical connection

Get PDFThe purpose of this research is to obtain empirical data about the effect of Instructional strategies and prior knowledge on the outcomes of basic electrical automotive of class X-class of SMK Light Vehicle Engineering. The method used in this research is the experimental method with the design of treatment research by level 2 x 2. Based on the results of hypothesis testing and discussion of research, the results obtained research as follows: First, the results of Electrical Engineering Basic Elementary studies in groups that use learning strategy project base learning higher than the group using expository learning strategies in class X students. Secondly, there is an interaction effect between learning strategy and prior knowledge on the outcomes of basic electrical automotive class X students. Third, the group of students with high prior knowledge, basic automotive is higher if using the learning strategy project base learning compared with using expository learning strategy. Fourth, in the low prior knowledge group, there was not difference between using project base learning strategy and using the expository learning strategy

This research used experimental method with design treatment by level 2 x 2, data analysis was ANAVA to prove 4 hypotheses. The result showed that 1) students learning outcomes which were given the self-management training is higher than the student who were given self-efficacy training; 2) there is the influence of interaction between self-management and self-concept on learning outcomes of education management; 3) learning outcomes of students who have positif self-concept is higher than learning outcomes of students who have a negative self-concept even though both were given self-management training; 4) learning outcomes of students who have a negative self-concepthigher than learning outcomes of students who have positive self-concept even though both were given self-efficacy training

This action research was conductedin two cycles. Every cycle was done in eight metings.The data of learning achievement werecollected through materials comprehension test before the action, after the first cycle action,after the second cycle action, and after all actions had been completed. The data of thestudents’ activities were collected through observations during the teaching and learningprocesses were administered. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar dan aktivitas belajarsiswa dengan cara memperbaiki proses pembelajaran akuntansi dengan menerapkanmodel pembelajaran kooperatif tipe jigsaw di kelas XI IPS SMA Negeri 1 Bengkayang KalimantanBarat.Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian tindakan dengan alurperencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi dan refleksi. Penelitian tindakan ini dilaksanakan 2siklus, setiap siklus dilaksanakan 8 kali pertemuan.Data hasil belajar diperoleh melalui tespemahaman materi sebelum pelaksanaan tindakan, setelah tindakan siklus 1, setelah tindakansiklus 2 dan setelah pelaksanaan tindakan berakhir. Data keaktifan belajar siswa diperolehmelalui pengamatan pada saat proses belajar mengajar berlangsung. Hasil penelitiandiperoleh bahwa terjadi peningkatan hasil belajar dan aktivitas belajar siswa dalam prosespembelajaran akuntansi dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe jigsaw.Kata kunci: Hasil Belajar Akuntansi Keuangan dan Model Pembelajaran Kooperatif TipeJigsa

Get PDFThis study aims was to determined the effect of instruction strategies and interpersonal intelligences towards learning outcomes of social science, after controlling entry behavior. The participants were 35 students were divided into two treatment classes. This study uses a experimental method with treatment by level 2x2. Data analysis was Analysis of Covariat (ANCOVA). The results showed that: the value Fhitung = 15.27 > Ftable (α = 0.05) (31) = 4.20. Thus concluded that there are differences in outcomes between of students to learn social science taught by Problem Based Learning (A1) with a students who are taught by a Direct Instruction (A2) after controlling entry behavior. The conclusion of this study is the result of learning outcome social science between of students was given a Problem Based Learning was higher than the students who were given Direct Instruction after controlling entry behavior

Get PDFThe purpose of this research is to produce a learning module of Christian education for students of SMP class VIII. The methodology used is research and development method. In the development using the Derek Rowntree model consisting of three stages, namely the planning stage, preparation phase of writing, and the stage of writing and editing. The product test phase begins with the validation of the material expert, and the media expert. Then after repaired the product was tested to a number of grade VIII students, ie 3 students for individual evaluation and 30 people for field evaluation. The results show the average value of material experts 3.77 which means the product is considered very good and from media experts 3.78 which means the product is considered very good. Then in the trial stage the average yield for the individual test phase 3.63 which means the product is considered very good and at this stage the field trials test 3.98 is considered very good. Based on interviews to teachers obtained very good results. The print module of Christianity education subject of SMP Negeri Kota Tidore Kepulauan is worthy to be used in the field
Evaluasi Program Parenting Pada Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini (PAUD) Di Kota Mataram
Get PDFThe objective of this research was to understand comprehensively about the enforceability of parenting program on early childhood education (PAUD) in Mataram pre-schools. The study applies qualitative approach the focuses on evaluation in pre- shool education in Mataram. The data were collected through interviews, observation, documentation, and questionnaire. This Study shows that (1) the background of the parenting program implementation was lack of parents' supports of child education; (2) the implementation of parenting program in pre-shools has fulfilled the requirements laid down in the guideline book; (3) most of pre-school institutions have implemented parenting program in accordance with the technical guideline book; and (4) the majority of parents' understandings of child nutrition, treatment, upbringing, and protection have signivicantly increased upon the implementation of the program

Alternative selected to reach the objective of this research to develop a instructional model of Blended Learning, focusing at self learning. The instructional model was developed based on the fact and consideration that the on going instruction process was regarded too conventional. Learning Blended learning model on the package C program is conducted by the method of research and development through three stages: a preliminary study, the preparation of conceptual models and test to determine the effectiveness of the model. No full textThe focus of this study is to examine the effectiveness of S1-Qualification Improvement program for the teachers of Madrasah and PAI through Dual Mode System (DMS) at the Ministry of Religious Affairs, for the LPTK Rayon 10 IAIN Mataram. The specified targets are reviewed from five (5) components: context, input, process, product, and impact / output or outcomes. The model of research design used in this study is CIPP Stufflebeam evaluation model by adding outcomes (O) components. In general, it is concluded that the implementation of the S1-Qualification Improvement program through Dual Mode System (DMS) in LPTK Rayon 10 IAIN Mataram has been going well and in accordance with the guideline and rule standard set by the Ministry of Religious Affairs Republic Indonesia
