Evaluasi Program Pendidikan dan Pelatihan Kepemimpinan Tingkat IV Pemerintah Provinsi Nusa Tenggara Barat
Get PDFThe purpose of this research is to explain the program implementation qualityand efectivity of the leadership training and education of forth level of the Governmentof West Nusa Tenggara Province. This research includes evaluation research program withKirkpatrick’s model (reaction, learning, behaviour, result) by using descriptive qualitativeapproach. Data collection instruments used were interview, observation guidelines, thestudy documents, and questionnaires. Data analysis using models Miles and Hubermanthrough the display of data, data reduction, and data verification. The results showed thatthe participants’ reactions to learning by training trainers in the category adequate with ascore of 76.67%, reaction training participants towards learning lectures by speakers thatare in adequate category with a score of 75.17%, according to the coach’s ability participantswith a score of 82.93 %, both in terms of system management and operational administrationby 70.62%. Participants’ reactions to the energy aspects of training and educationthat is equal to 79.03%. The effectiveness of the program in terms of the reaction of participantswas on the score of 65.52 or the adequate category and questionnaire results 91.67%of participants consider the information given during the training is less practical nature.Keywords: Program evaluation, Kirkpatrick model, leadership, training and education
Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menjelaskan kualitas dan efektivitas penyelenggaraanDiklat Kepemimpinan Tingkat IV pada Pemerintah Provinsi NTB. Penelitianini termasuk jenis penelitian evaluasi program dengan model Kirkpatrick (reaction, learning,beaviour, result) dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif. Instrumen pengumpulandata yang digunakan adalah pedoman wawancara, pedoman observasi, studidokumen, dan kuesioner. Analisis data mengunakan model Miles dan Huberman melaluidisplay data, reduksi data, dan verifikasi data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa reaksipeserta diklat terhadap pembelajaran oleh widyaiswara berada pada kategori memadaidengan skor 76,67 %, reaksi peserta diklat terhadap pembelajaran ceramah oleh narasumberberada pada kategori memadai dengan skor 75,17 %, kemampuan coach menurutpeserta dengan skor 82,93 %, sistem pengelolaan baik dari segi administrasi dan operasionalsebesar 70,62 %. Reaksi peserta terhadap aspek tenaga kediklatan yaitu sebesar79,03%. Efektivitas program dari segi reaksi peserta adalah pada skor 65,52 atau padakategori memadai dan hasil kuesioner 91,67% peserta menganggap pengetahuan yang diberikanselama diklat kurang bersifat praktis.Kata kunci: Evaluasi program, model kirkpatrik, kepemimpinan, pendidikan dan pelatiha
Pengaruh Strategi Pembelajaran Metakognitif dan Gaya Kognitif Terhadap Kemampuan Pemecahan Masalah Matematika Siswa (Exsperimen pada Madrasah Tsanawiyah Kecamatan Wanasaba Lombok Timur)
Get PDFThe aim of this research was to determine the effect of metacognitive instructional strategy and cognitive style on students’ mathematics problem solving ability in the seventh grade of Madrasah Tsanawiyah, Wanasaba district. The research method used a quasi-experimental with 3 x 2 ANOVA factorial design. The results indicate that: (1) students’ ability on mathematics problem solving who uses IDEAL metacognitive instructional strategy is higher than who uses KWL and learning portfolio. (2) the ability on mathematics problem solving of students with field independent cognitive style is higher than field dependent cognitive style. (3) There is an interaction effect between metacognitive instructional strategy and cognitive style on mathematics problem solving. (4) the ability on mathematics problem solving of students with field independent cognitive style who was taught with IDEAL metacognitive instructional strategy is higher than who was taught by KWL and learning portfolio. (5) the ability on mathematics problem solving of students with field dependent cognitive style who was taught with IDEAL and KWL metacognitive instructional strategy is lower than by learning portfolio
Implementasi Program Imtaq dalam Pembentukan Sikap Toleransi Peserta Didik
Get PDFThe aims of this research are gaining deep understanding and describing the planning, implementation, and effect of Imtaq program in forming students’ tolerant attitude at SMPN 2 Mataram. The research method used was qualitative method, especially case study one. Data collection technique used were participative observation, indepth interview, and documentation. The procedure of analyzing data used interactive model with the channel of: data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion/verification. The research results are: (1) Planning of imtaq program utilizes system approach with societal participatory mechanism; (2) Imtaq program is implemented through the forming of religious culture, religious extracurricular activity and by developing societal participation; (3) Imtaq program has positive impacts on the development of students' tolerant attitude, this is indicated by: knowing and respecting, appreciating and tolerating those who believe in other religions, caring and helping, and willing for cooperation
Pengaruh Penerapan Modul-Modul Berbasis Spreadsheet Terhadap Nilai Statistika Mahasiswa Jurusan Akuntansi Politeknik Negeri Bali
Get PDFThis research aims at validating spreadsheet based statistics modules, to know results of field trials, the influence of spreadsheet based modules implementation on statistics course achievement, and student’s perceptions to the implementation of spreadsheet based statistics modules. Validation of education expert used five aspects and then followed by field trials. The results of the research show that assessment/validation of the education expert is the overall modules are categorized good and all of the seven modules are also categorized good. The overall statistical modules provide better results significantly for students who used the modules compared to students who did not use the modules. Therefore, spreadsheet based modules implementation influenced statistics course achievement of Accounting Departmen students, Bali State Polytechnic. Student’s perceptions of implementation the spreadsheet based statistics modules are the majority they said good (97.7%), very good (2.3%), pretty good (0%), less good (0%), and not good (0%) or score average of 4.2 out of 5

Get PDFThis study aims to examine the effect of learning model and numerical ability on the learning result of machining course by controlling the engineering potential. The method used is quasi experiment with design treatment by level 2 X 2. The sample of research is the students of Mechanical Engineering class A and B using multistage random sampling. Based on the analysis, the results of the study were: the learning result of the students' subjects with problem-based learning is higher than the students with project-based learning after controlling the engineering potential; there is an interaction effect of application of learning model and numerical ability to learning result of machining course; student learning outcomes of students with high numerical skills with problem-based learning, are higher than in the group of students with project-based learning

Pengaruh Computer-Assisted Instruction dan Pengetahuan Awal terhadap Hasil Belajar Teknik Pemesinan CNC
Get PDFThe study examined the effect of computer-assisted instruction and prior knowledge on SMK N 1 Bekasi students’ CNC machine learning outcomes, Eleventh grade. This study adopted a treatment by level 2 x 2 design. There are two types of Computer-Assisted Instruction design; Branching and Linear were used as treatment instruments and a CNC machines learning outcomes-Test was used as test instrument. Analysis of Variance (ANAVA) Two Way was used in analyzing data collection. The study has revealed that, there were significant differences in the learning outcomes-test mean scores of CAI-Branching and CAI-Linear, and the Tukey’s-test revealed a significant difference between CAI-Branching and CAI-Linear on high prior knowledge group. There was no significant difference in the learning outcomes-test mean scores of low prior knowledge groups taught using CAI- Branching and CAI-Linear

Get PDFThe aim of this research is to examine the effect of pedagogical competence, professional competence and attitude of teaching profession towards performance assessment of primary school teachers. The population is the primary school teachers who teach advanced classes who hold bachelor degree, possess five year teaching experience and competence certification. The sampling technique is stratified random sampling and get the sampling is 63 primary schools with 71 respondents. The pedagogical and professional competence scores are obtained from the UKG. The attitudes of teaching profession and the performance assessment is measured by instrument which is filled by the teachers and teacher respectively who were respondents in the study. The results show that: (1) there is a direct positive effect of pedagogical competence on teachers’ assessment performance, professional competence, and attitude of teaching profession on the teachers’ assessment performance; (2) there is a direct positive effect of pedagogical competence and professional competence on of the attitude of teaching profession

This study used 2x2 factorial design. The results: 1) student learning result on learning chemistry calculations higher by applying the question posing rather than question solving methods, 2) there is an interaction between instructional method and science generic capabilities to student learning outcomes on learning chemistry calculations, 3) there is not different for student learning outcomes who has high ability on science generic by applying the question posing or question solving methods, and 4) student learning outcomes has the lower ability of generic science on higher by applying the method of question posing rather than question solving methods

Get PDFhis study is research and development which aims at developing a computer- based instruction model for the course Introduction to Computer Science. The objective is translated into specific one, namely to get the implementation form of Introduction to Computer Science course that was held at the Department of Electronics Engineering Education an PTIK FT-UNM. In addition, it was also to develop the concepts, the procedures, as well as to find out the results of the development of Computer-Based Instruction (CBI) for effective and efficient Introduction to Computer Science for the Students of Electronics Engineering Education Department, PTIK FT UNM. The results showed that experts’ assessment for the material got 91.79%, a media / programming was 94.52% and design experts was 89.44% in a very good category. Furthermore, the assessment of effectiveness and practicality stated that the product were well-developed, fit to use, and very helpful in learning activities
