In the era of the industrial revolution 4.0, modern technology such as fibre technology and integrated network systems in all aspects of life has made humans very dependent on technology. The purpose of this research is to foster a culture of digital literacy in the school environment, increase teacher knowledge and skills in the field of developing and utilizing digital teaching materials, improve student learning performance and increase teacher knowledge and skills in terms of digital learning models and improve student's learning performance. The method used in this study is the observation method using the pre-experimental design method, one group type pretest-posttest (pretest test-posttest single group). Assistance was provided to 28 junior high school teachers in the South Tangerang area. During the training, participants were given four assignments: Team, Sway, Learning Design and Learning Videos. The study results show that as many as 71% of teachers have mastered the Teams and Sway applications from Microsoft, 60% can make lesson plans, and 53% can make learning videos. The pretest and post-test results showed that the average result was 36.6%, then after participating in the training, the average result was 44.4%. The results of the study show that training in the development and use of digital teaching materials has an effect on the skills and abilities of teachers, which is beneficial for improving student learning performance

    Get PDF
During the Covid-19 pandemic, the trend of blended learning increased rapidly. The Indonesian government provides various supporting facilities for blended learning, one of them is a learning account. Unfortunately, this surge in demand for and provision of supporting facilities has not been matched by sufficient skills to properly organize online learning. Many teachers do not know how to utilize ICT in learning. The author took the initiative to develop teacher professional development activities to improve digital skills. These activities were developed using the technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge (TPACK) and using the Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, Evaluate (ADDIE) model. It can be concluded that these activities can be duplicated again with some adjustments. First, this training is suitable for teachers at the K12 level. If it will be used for PAUD/TK teachers, this training needs to be redesigned. Second, it would be much better if the institution where the teacher works provide dedicated hours for professional development which are also counted into teaching/additional teacher hours

    Get PDF
The paradigm developed at the State University of Jakarta (UNJ) in recent years has focused on competence to achieve workability. This paradigm shift requires a more flexible and active teaching-learning context. This paper presents empirical research into the application of a case-based project-based learning model (Case-Project Based Learning, CPjBL) in the learning of Evaluation, Process, and Learning Outcomes courses at the History Education Postgraduate Program of UNJ. Considering the important role of motivation and performance, we pursue three main goals. First, this study aims to analyze students' perceptions of the effectiveness of the CPjBL learning model to improve key competencies for employability. Second, we explored whether the perceived benefits of these competencies changed after the PBL trial. Finally, we aim to explore students' opinions about the usefulness, advantages, and disadvantages of this model. Our findings support the perceived effectiveness of PBL for improving teamwork, communication, creativity, organization, and information management competencies

This study aims to see to what extent the application of the Picture and Picture cooperative learning model increasing students creativity at SMP Negeri 8 Pematang Siantar. The number of sempel as many as 40 people. This study used an experimental method, the data analysis technique used parametric statistics, namely the normality test used the chi square test, the homogeneity test used the F-test and the hypothesis test used the t-test. To find out to what extent the application of the Picture and Picture Cooperatif Learning Model in PAK Learning in Improving Student Creativity in Learning, the data analysis shows that the learning outcomes data are normally distributed and also homogeneous. Student creativity in the experimental class was higher than the control class, namely 142>125.8. The difference in student creativity between the experimental class and the control class is also significant because the results of the difference test (t test) obtained tcount greater than t table with a significant level of 5%, namely 2.779> 2.026. It can be conclude that the application of the Picture and Picture type of cooperative learning model has a significant effect on increasing the learning creativity of grade VII student at SMP Negeri 8 Pematang Sianta

The implementation of learning media based on ICT (Information and Communication Technology) on chemistry was found to be very low. For this reason, ICT-based chemistry learning media which utilized autoplay application were developed in this research. The validated product of the learning media based by autoplay on chemistry can be implemented as a learning medium to improve students' communicative character. This research was designed by using the Plomp model in the form of Research and Development (R&D). Data of this research were collected by validation sheets, questionnaire responses (teachers and students), and communicative observation sheets with descriptive statistical analyses and independent sample t test. The validity results showed that the average percentage from media expert and material expert judgment were 88.25% and 91.69% with a category of valid. Moreover, the results of the response of teachers and students respectively obtained an average percentage score of 85% and 81% with a category of very interesting. Then, the results of the independent sample t test for 0,000 <0.05 indicated that there were significant differences in the communicative character of students before and after the use of learning media based on autoplay on chemistry with a percentage of 72.25%

This article was inspired by Jamil Pooniran's concept of STIFIn genetic intelligence and language learning methodology, especially regarding classroom management. All of these inspirations became the author's reference for pursuing his mind in building a genetic-based EFL classroom management concept. This article was not based on empirical data. Still, it was built and constructed from the previous concept, namely the STIFIn concept of genetic intelligence, which was synthesized into a genetic-based class management concept for the EFL class. This study aimed to determine how to apply the concept of genetic-based classroom management to the EFL class. Based on the STIFIn concept of genetic intelligence, the authors formulated a genetic-based classroom management concept for EFL classes adapted for EFL students' five types of machine intelligence. In summary, the author concluded that the genetic-based classroom management concept for the EFL class could be applied to the three managerial class phases, namely involving stage and using calibration at the evaluation stage

Along with the university policy for remote learning during the Covid-19 pandemic and the new normal era, learning management system (LMS) become one of various alternative system to handle online learning. However, its application needs to be well-prepared and well-designed. This present study was a need analysis as an initial stage in developing Moodle LMS-based EFL Materials for academic writing course at university. The participants were 67 students from academic writing course. A questionnaire was major instrument to find out the learning needs and context, accompanied by documentation to seek the activities and materials on the existing course. The results show the needs of academic writing course and the proposed EFL materials through Moodle LMS. Student-participants revealed that the course should be able to improve students’ writing skill in developing academic texts through essay development and research article. Moreover, process writing approach and genre-based approach become the most preferable approach for teaching with plenty of sample texts in PDF format. The students-participants also thought that teacher-feedback, individual project-based assessment, and real-time online session or synchronous mode are the best for online learning through LMS. The proposed Moodle LMS-based EFL materials apparently adopts the steps of process genre-based approach and a framework of Bloom’s digital taxonomy
