Teacher Educators Perspectives on The Use of Augmented Reality for Foreign Language
The purpose of this research is to share reflections on Augmented Reality (AR) technology as an upgrade tool for foreign language development. Exploring the short but considerable literature research, this post discusses AR technology for the rise in the philosophy of upgrading, upgrading teacher nursery in position, teachers, pupils, customs, infrastructure, and sustainability, using the framework of activities outlines the suitability of the use of upgrading technology in development programs. For analysis, AR technology has essential benefits for language development; however, it is not suitable for all language types. Not only that, but this information also offers solid recommendations for activities that are enhanced with AR in 4 skills as well as language-specific applications. A Learning Development Of Beauty Skill Program At A Vocational School In Preserving Local Wisdom. Objectives: The research is to analyze the learning development of beauty skill program at a vocational school in preserving local wisdom. Methods: to employ a qualitative approach with an analytically descriptive method towards two-state vocational schools in Kabupaten Bandung and Bandung city. Library research, in-depth interviews, a document study and observation were carried out to gather data. Informants were chosen by using a snowball technique, the findings, then, were examined and analyzed by using management theory by Deming, curriculum theory of social reconstruction and learning theory of constructivism by Vygotsky. Findings: Learning development planning of beauty skill at a vocation school in preserving local wisdom is designed by formulating vision and mission, arranging curriculum, providing more productive teachers and improving learning facilities. Learning development implementation is made by achieving student’s competence, involving experts and industrial and business world. Learning development is supervised by the Department of Education, Branch Department of Education West Java Provincial Government and school superintendent. The problem faced in learning development is the lack of productive subject time allotment, human resources and qualified teachers understanding local wisdom. The improvement is by enhancing industrial and business world cooperation and teaching factory, collaborating with professional, experts and practitioner organization, using subject time allotment and extracurricular activities. Conclusion: By learning development of beauty skill program in preserving local wisdom, it affects the quality improvement of graduates who have high awareness towards local wisdom, educational service improvement and the achievement of learning development implementation and the learning quality improvement
The Effectiveness of Learning with the Team Based Project Method in the Decision Making Technique Course by Using the Product Oriented Module
The purpose of this study is (a) to identify learning using the team-based project method implemented in practical courses using product-oriented modules in vocational education. (b) to know the level of effectiveness of learning with the team-based project method implemented in practical courses using a product-oriented module in Vocational Education. This study used research related to this study, which were all students who were taking the Decision-Making Technique course. The number of research samples was 60 people (2 classes) of the 2018 Business Administration study program as a field test, 9 people as a small group test and 3 people for an individual test. The results showed that from the material expert, 4 aspects were assessed in the material expert test, namely the material aspect, the quiz question aspect, the linguistic aspect and the implementation aspect. The material aspect has a higher percentage value than the other three aspects, namely 85.45%, then the questions and quiz aspects and the implementation aspect have 80%, while the linguistic aspect has 60%. With this percentage value, the overall assessment of the material experts assesses that this learning media was considered "Eligible" to be developed. Based on the results of the t-test calculations, data obtained that tcount> ttable or 5,868> 2,0172 or in other words H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted, it can be concluded that the learning outcomes using Learning Methods of Team Based Learning on practice course with Product-Oriented Module was higher than students who were taught without using Learning Method of Team Based Learning In practical courses with Product-Oriented Modules with the effectiveness of using Learning Methods of Team Based Learning In practical courses with Product-Oriented Modules of 88,5667%
Improving The Competency of Automotive Vocational Teachers with Partnership-Based Training Model (PBK)
Entering the XXI Century, Industrial Revolution 4.0, and Society 5.0. Improving the quality of human resources is a top priority in meeting the demands of the workforce and the automotive industry. Produce the competencies needed by automotive vocational teachers who master these competencies and are by the needs of the industrial world. This research is designed to produce a partnership-based training model that can be applied and can improve the competence of automotive teachers according to the needs of the automotive industry. This development research consists of two stages, namely the development and validation stages involving vocational education experts, automotive vocational teachers, and industrial practitioners in interviews, Focus Group Discussion activities, and filling out questionnaires. The research subjects were 72 automotive vocational school teachers in Central Java and West Java. The application of this model was carried out in three national automotive industries (the sole agent of the brand holders). The partnership-based training model consists of 6 stages: (1) Information and Communication Learning Activities; (2) Facilitation; (3) Assistance; (4) Monitoring; (5) Process Evaluation and (6) Results Evaluation. A partnership-based training model can be applied and has received a very good response from automotive participants/ teachers. Based on the questionnaire responses, participants / automotive vocational teachers strongly agree that partnership-based training is applied in the training program. While the competency aspects of attitudes, knowledge, and work skills were achieved with 80% of participants achieving good criteria.
 
Develovment Of Video Tutorials To Making Embroidery Terawang For Embroidery Courses
This research aims to develop a video tutorial for Embroidery Terawang, so that students are able to understand and carry out learning activities independently during activities from home. This type of research is research and development, while the research method used is the 4D development model which consists of define, design, development and disseminate, but in this research it only reaches the development stage. The data in this study are primary data obtained from a questionnaire on the validity and practicality of the product. The validity of the product was carried out by 2 media validators and 2 material validators. The subjects in this study were 1 lecturer for the embroidery course, 15 students for the small group trial and 50 students for the large group trial consisting of D-III and S1 students in the Department of Family Welfare Science in the year of entry. 2020. The product produced from this study is the Embroidery Terawang video tutorial in the Sulaman course with a validity test value obtained by a percentage of 84.13% with a very valid category. Meanwhile, the practicality test for the subject supervisory lecturers obtained a percentage of 91.6% with the very practical category, the small group practicality test was 87% with the very practical category and the large group practicality test obtained a percentage of 87.7% with the very practical category. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that the Embroidery Terawang video tutorial in the Embroidery course for fashion students of the FPP-UNP Family Welfare Science Department developed is very valid and very practical
Excellent Accreditation Design in High School
The purpose of this study is to analyze the strategy for achieving superior accreditation of higher education institutions (excluding study programs). The research design used is a descriptive-quantitative study. The research was conducted at Bina Bangsa University during the institutional accreditation field assessment (AL) on August 13-14, 2021. Data analysis used nine criteria for university accreditation assessment assessed by BAN-PT. The results of the study found that the design of superior accreditation in higher education can be done by: 1) compiling a Self Evaluation Report (LED) that is congruent with the Higher Education Performance Report (LKPT) without any discrepancies with each other, 2) universities need to form institutions and carry out quality assurance seriously, 3) maximize the value of each item of accreditation fromCriteria A, B, C1--C9, and criteria D; 4) trying as much as possible to fulfill all the physical evidence needed to meet each of the existing criteria, 5) trying to provide answers to assessors during interview sessions both to the Foundation, Chancellor, middle leaders, lecturers, students, employees, alumni, cooperation partners and users .The novelty of the research is shown from the superior accreditation design related to the difficulty in meeting the accreditation criteria for colleges and study programs. This study suggests that every university should continue to make improvements in order to obtain superior accreditation by implementing good design
Teacher's Strategy in Managing Classes in Online Economics Learning to Increase Motivation and Achievement in Economics Learning for Class XI Social Sciences
has affected all sectors, especially the education sector. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the implementation of learning in schools which was initially carried out face-to-face must be abolished and replaced with online learning (in the network). The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of online learning on students' motivation and economic learning achievement. Researchers obtained data from questionnaires distributed to 47 students of SMA class XI IPS at SMA Negeri 1 Palangka Raya as online respondents. Research subjects were selected by random sampling method. Questionnaires were used to determine the effect of online learning on motivation and economic achievement in class XI students. Based on the results of the study, online learning does not provide too significant obstacles for students in understanding the subject matter and does not make students' learning achievement in economics decrease. In some students, the motivation to study economics decreases because they cannot understand the subject matter delivered by the teacher which is not optimal and does not vary so that it has an impact on student learning achievement. Evaluation on the Use of Online Comics among Students: Development Studies at Universitas Terbuka
Promotion is one way to spread information, so as to persuade/influence the audience to be willing to be loyal, accept, or buy towards a company or product. One form of promotional media that is effective in increasing the prospect of an object is online comics. Online comics are digital media that are dynamic and in accordance with technological developments. Based on this, this study aimed to evaluate the use of online comics among Universitas Terbuka students as a means of education and promotion. This research is development research using the ADDIE model with limitation of only on response test or evaluation of the use of online comics. The research was conducted by involving 60 students from various study programs. The data collection was done using an online questionnaire consisting of seven constructs with 34 questions related to evaluating the use of online comics. The data collected was then analyzed using SPSS version 23.00 for Windows. The results showed that the students' evaluation of the use of online comics in the seven constructs had an average of 3.11 in the "good" category. Therefore, students as agents of change in education are expected to be able to think openly about changes and alternatives offered by technology to improve the quality of learning
The Influence of Computer-Based Learning Media Tutorials on Students' Spatial Abilities In Mathematics
Abstract: In 21st century learning students is required to be more active in learning than teachers, therefore this study aims to determine whether there is an influence between computer-based learning media tutorials and students' spatial abilities in mathematics. Using quantitative descriptive. Where, the number of samples in this study were 240 students from SMP 11 Jambi City who used purposive sampling technique. Data were then analyzed with the help of the SPSS 21 application to find descriptive statistics in the form of mean, min, max, and category as well as inferential statistics using simple regression. The results obtained in this study are dominant in both the spatial abilities of students in mathematics. With this reinforced by the existence of a relationship and influence between computer-based learning media tutorials with students' spatial abilities in mathematics as seen from the sig value below 0.025, which is 0.016 and has a contribution of 72.6%.
 
Increasing HOTS of High School Students Using Mobile Technology and Scaffolding Approach: Study on Physics Learning
Improvement, development, and growth of a country cannot be separated from the quality of its human resources. This is even more so for a country that will face a population demographic bonus like Indonesia, which requires excellent and increasing quality of human resources so that they are always able to compete. Education is one of the factors that plays an important role in advancing the quality of human resources. This study aims to develop an Android-based learning media application on simple harmonic motion physics material and is used to improve the HOTS ability of students by learning using the scaffolding approach. This study is an R&D with a 4D model consisting of the Defining, Designing, Developing, and Disseminating stages. The operational test at the Developing stage was carried out using an experiment with the Pretest-Posttest Control Group design. The product in this study is an Android-based physics learning media application on simple harmonic motion material that has been tested for its feasibility for use in physics learning. Then, the product was tested in the field by being implemented in learning. The experimental results in the experimental class using android media and the scaffolding approach and the control class using conventional learning showed a significant difference in HOTS abilities. The implementation of Android-based physics mobile learning media and the scaffolding learning approach has a positive effect on the HOTS ability of students
