This research aims to develop Android-based interactive learning media that can improve student learning outcomes in MJT subjects at SMKN 4 Payakumbuh. This research uses a research and development method with a 4-D model (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate). Data was collected through a questionnaire distributed to class X TJKT students. The research results show that the use of Android-based interactive learning media can improve student learning outcomes. From the paired sample t-test, a sig (2-Tailed) value of 0.000 <0.05 was obtained, indicating that there is a significant influence of interactive learning media on student learning outcomes. Apart from that, the practicality test shows that this interactive learning media is practical and can be well received by students and teachers. The development of interactive learning media was carried out in accordance with the MJT material taught to class X TJKT students. The validity of this interactive learning media is high, with an average validity value of 0.85. The practicality test shows that this media is practical with a percentage of 82% of teachers and 85.7% of students. The effectiveness of this media can also be seen from the percentage of completeness of student learning outcomes which reached 75.86%. This Android-based interactive learning media helps students to learn independently and improve their understanding of MJT subject matter. The development of Android-based interactive learning media is effective in improving student learning outcomes in MJT subjects at SMKN 4 Payakumbuh. This media is valid, practical, and well received by students and teachers. Thus, this interactive learning media is an effective solution to overcome low student learning outcomes and limited computer facilities in schools

This study aimed to examine the influence of blended learning model and critical thinking on students’ learning outcomes in acrylic removable partial denture theory course. The research was preceded by designing a blended lesson on acrylic removable partial denture theory course using the ASSURE learning model by considering objective conditions in the Department of Dental Engineering, Health Polytechnic, Ministry of Health, Jakarta II. Experiment was used as the research method with 2x2 treatment by level design. The data analysis was carried out using two- way analysis of covariance (ANCOVA). The results of the research found that students’ learning outcomes in the blended learning acrylic removable partial denture theory course were generally better than face-to-face learning, especially in the group of students with high critical thinking. The group of students with low critical thinking did not produce significantly different results

This study aims to determine the effect of using outdoor learning methods on the ability to write free poetry in Audio Visual A1 and A2 classes of Malay-Indonesian. The method used is an experimental method of the Quasi Experimental type using two classes, namely the experimental class of 37 students which given treatment in the form of outdoor learning methods and a control class of 35 students which was not given treatment as a comparison class. The data collection technique used a poetry writing essay test and a questionnaire to find out students' responses to the outdoor learning method. Based on the results of hypothesis testing data analysis using the t test at a significant level of 0.05, a T count of 2.592 and a T table of 1.997 are obtained. Because T count is greater than T table, namely 2.592 > 1.997. It can be concluded that accept H1, reject H0, thus it can be said that there is an influence on the use of outdoor learning methods. Get PDF
The rapid development of digital technology requires innovative learning media to improve the student learning experience. This study discusses the development of microlearning-based correspondence learning media designed for Vocational High School (SMK) students under the auspices of the Indonesian Association of Scholars and Office Administration Practitioners (Aspapi) in Jakarta area. The main problem in correspondence learning is the limited effective media to increase students' focus and learning independence. Students often have difficulty in structuring sentences when writing letters and are reluctant to think deeply due to the familiarity with informal communication through social media as well as a lack of knowledge of formal correspondence. This research aims to develop microlearning-based learning media in correspondence learning. The method used is Research and Development (R&D) with the Dick & Carey development model, which includes needs analysis to summative evaluation. The respondents in this study are students of Aspapi's partner vocational schools in Jakarta. The results show that microlearning-based learning media significantly increases the effectiveness of correspondence learning. Students demonstrate better comprehension and increased learning independence thanks to concise and directed microlearning content, in accordance with their digital communication habits. Interactive and accessible media design also helps to overcome low literacy competence and student learning motivation.  Based on the above findings, it can be concluded that the development of microlearning-based learning media has proven to be an effective solution in overcoming challenges in correspondence learning. This media is able to improve students' writing skills, critical thinking, and learning independence, so similar innovations are recommended to be applied to other administrative and vocational subjects

In this digital era, information technology has become an integral part of almost every aspect of life. In the educational context, this technology also plays an important role in facilitating the publication process of scientific articles that is more valid, practical and effective. This research aims to develop the Padang State University Journal of Information and Educational Technology (JTIP) system, especially the development of an automatic LoA (Letter of Acceptance) system. Previously, the publication management process at JTIP still used manual methods in issuing LoAs. Therefore, it is necessary to develop an automatic LoA issuance system. This research uses the Research and Development (R&D) method with a 4D model approach which includes the Define, Design, Develop and Disseminate stages. The data collection technique was carried out through a questionnaire distributed to 4 validators, 25 authors and 3 editors to test the validity, practicality and effectiveness of the system. Data analysis uses the Aiken's V validity formula to test validity, average percentage to test practicality and effectiveness. The research results show that the automatic LoA system succeeded in shortening the LoA issuance time from 5-7 days to 1 day and obtained an Aiken's V validity value of 0.87 (Valid), an average practical value of 93.5% (Very Practical), and effectiveness value with TCR of 88.8% (Very Good). It is hoped that this research can increase the practicality and effectiveness of the scientific journal publication process, especially in the context of education and technology in Indonesia. The duration of this research lasted for 6 months. Recommendations for future research are to explore the integration of this system with other publication platforms to increase the reach and accessibility of scientific publications
