    The objective of this research is to find out the effect of leadership style, knowledge of the basic principles of non-formal education, and work motivation on organizational commitment of Community Learning Centre (CLC) Managers in Jakarta. This research was conducted in DKI Jakarta, on March to August 2009. The data was collected from 85 managers as sample and selected by simple random sampling . The result of this research are as follows: (1). The leadership style of CLC managers has direct effect on work motivation; (2). knowledge about of basic principles of non-formal education has direct effect on work motivation; (3). Work motivation has direct on organizational commitment of CLC managers; (4). The leadership style has direct effect on organizational commitment of CLC managers; (5). Knowledge about of basic principles of non-formal education has direct effect on organizational commitment of CLC managers; (6). The leadership style of CLC managers has indirect effect on organizational commitment of CLC managers, Through work motivation and (7) Knowledge about of the basic principles of non- forma/ education has indirect effect on organizational commitment of CLC managers through work motivation. Therefore, it could be concluded that the increasing of or decreasing of organizational commitment effected directly or indirectly by leadership style, knowledge about the basic principle of Non Formal Education and work motivation. This conclusion implies that when we want to improve the organizational commitment, we have to take into consideration those three variables, leadership style, knowledge about the basic principle of non formal education and work motivation as well

    The purpose of this research is to obtain empirical data on tutor’s performance in managing instructional activities of Package C Program at Community Learning Activities Center (CLAC). The research was conducted at a CLAC in North Jakarta. The method employed was descriptive method with qualitative approach. The researcher made direct observation to the CLAC where Package C program was being implemented. To obtain valid and reliable data and information, the researcher also conducted in-depth interview. Based on the available data and information, the research concluded that according to the respondents’ opinion all tutors have conducted instructional process in the line with the existing standard procedures. The tutors make a good preparation before instructional process and they are capable enough to perform their tasks professionally. They have a good mastery of the instructional materials and sound ability to use appropriate instructional media to improve participants’ learning achievement. For a better result in the future, the tutors are suggested to be more proactive to develop their knowledge and skills related to their job

    The research, conducted from December 2009 through January 2010, aims at evaluating the training model for staff of Education Offices in Riau Islands Province to improve the implementation quality of institution accountancy system (IAS). The method used in this research was survey covering 45 staff members of Education Offices. Data were collected by questionnaire and interview and analyzed quantitatively and qualitatively. Data analysis concludes that the existing training model suffers from weakness in its system, management, and evaluation. Further, it is recommended an alternative training model to be developed on the basis of staff's need in improving knowledge, skills, and attitude on the SAI implementation

This study aimed at investigating whether the tutors in PKBM Miftahul Jannah, East Jakarta  have such competencies. This study also investigated the learners. achievement . A survey using questionnaire was conducted for that purpose. This study reveals that the tutors have such competencies whereas the learners' achievement vary. This study also provides suggestions to improve the tutors quality
