POLA PEMBINAAN PENDIDIK DAN TENAGA KEPENDIDIKAN PENDIDIKAN NONFORMAL
Three factors determining the success of nonformal education are organization, human resources, and relevancy of programs to the needs of society. The programs has its own target, that is human resources of nonformal education personnel. Among them are supervisors, facilitator, and other personnel served by the Directorate. On the other hand, their roles balance the needs of the General Directorate and Quality Improvement Eduational Teachers as well as the society. Therefore, it’s necesary for them to improve their knowledge and skills continously. In return, the productivity ot the organization of nonformal education is to be improved simultanneosly. There should be trainings for them to improve their knowledge and skills as well as to be professional. The success of trainigs is proven through their skill knowledge improvement in the work place
PARTISIPASI PEREMPUAN DALAM PENGAMBILAN KEPUTUSAN DI TINGKAT DESA: STUDI KASUS PADA BADAN PERWAKILAN DESA SEKECAMATAN BANYUDONO KABUPATEN BOYOLALI
This research aims at (a) finding out the participation of female members of The Board of Village Representatives (BPD) in Banyudono Subdistrict, Boyolali District, in initation, legitimation, exution, and evaluation of the decisions at the village level, (b) discovering internal and external factors in the participation, and (c) formulating some suggestions in developing the programs of empowering the females roles of BPD members. Results indicate very low participation of BPD female members in initation, legitimation, and evaluation but moderately high in the excution of decisions. Although they have high formal education, they lack in nonformal and informal education wich make them weak in attitude. Research suggests that (a) the female members of BPD should improve their knowledge in village government, budgetting, legislation, and supervision; (b) BPD should organise training for all its members; (c) the recruitment criteria for its members should be adjusted to the local society; and further study should be conducted to strengthen the role of female members of BPD
KOMPETENSI TUTOR KEAKSARAAN FUNGSIONAL DALAM PENGELOLAAN PEMBELAJARAN DI KECAMATAN WARA UTARA KOTA PALOPO PROVINSI SULAWESI SELATAN
In nonformal education, tutors are to assist learners to learn as well as to motivate them. To make these tutors be able to improve their competencies, they should get appropriate/relevant trainings. This article reports a researchs on tutors competency in conducting instruction for functional literacy program in Wara Utara . Research findings show tutor are still lack of competencies in assisting and motivating learners in an instructional situation. It’s recommended that they should be trained on learning motivation
