PENGEMBANGAN MODEL ON THE JOB TRAINING BERBASIS ANDRAGOGI UNTUK PENINGKATKAN KOMPETENSI PENDIDIK ANAK USIA DINI NONFORMAL
This research on the development of on the job training model based on andragogy is related to the efforts to improve the competence of early childhood education. The research, related to the effort to enhance the competences of early childhood education tutors, aimed at developing the model and its effects on the early childhood education tutors’ competences. In developing the model, the research included quantitative and qualitative methods. After testing the model, the research concluded that it is effective in fostering the competences of early childhood education tutors. Based on the research findings, this model is recommended to disseminated to develop the competences of early childhood education tutors. The development of this model has an implication for the fulfillment of competence standards of early childhood education tutors
PENDIDIKAN ANAK USIA DINI DI DKI JAKARTA
Early childhood education is a foundation for further education of the children and the parents, societies, and the government should pay serious attention to the implementation of early childhood education program in Jakarta focusing on academic qualification, motivation, competence, and self development of early childhood education teachers. As a survey, this research employed explorative and descriptive methods and collected data using interview and document study techniques. The conclusion of this research shows (a) most of the teachers have undergraduate certificates, (b) the teachers are motivated by internal and external factors, (c) most of the teachers have professional competence, more than a half of them have pedagogic competence, less than a half of them have social competence, and almost all of them have good or excellent character competence, (d) self development is done through the training offered by the institution or by their own and efforts
KEEFEKTIFAN METODE BILINGUAL INTENSIF UNTUK KEMAMPUAN MEMBACA DAN MENULIS PADA PENDIDIKAN KEAKSARAAN MASYARAKAT SAMIN BLORA
This research aimed to know if in Samin community reading and writing skills of literacy education participants taught with intensive bilingual method are better than those taught with SAS method. The research conducted in Tanduran Village Blora Regency in 2010, involved 40 research subjects comprising 20 subjects for experimental group with intensive bilingual method and 20 subjects with SAS method for controlling group. The data obtained were analyzed in two stages i.e. in the preliminary analysis and in hypothesis testing. The result of the research indicates, the reading and writing skills of literacy education participants in Samin community taught with intensive bilingual method are better than those taught wit SAS method
PENGARUH ASPEK-ASPEK KEPEMIMPINAN PARTISIPATIF KEPALA DESA TERHADAP PEMBANGUNAN PENDIDIKAN NONFORMAL
The purpose of this research was to discover the influence of participative leadership aspects of village head either partially or simultaneously to the education development. The research was conducted in Gorontalo region in 2010 and the population BPD, LPM, village officials, elementary school and elementary school committee. The samples were selected by proportional random sampling technique and the main instrument employed rating scale tests in the form of close statements with alternative answers. To complete the discussion qualitatively, the research used interview technique for the Regent of Gorontalo district, the head of national education office, and other parties which considered important. After analyzing the data with path analysis, the research concluded, participative leadership aspects of village head either partially or simultaneously, give real contribution to education development
PENGEMBANGAN MODEL KURSUS WIRAUSAHA DESA PEMBIBITAN KARET UNGGUL UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KOMPETENSI BERWIRAUSAHA WARGA BELAJAR
This research is grounded on the fact that a lot of civillians are unemployed as they do not have enough knowledge and skills to work. On the other side, the increasing number of conversions from horticulture plants to rubber plants has caused the people’s demand for top rubber seeds to increase too.This research therefore wanted to find out the type of KWD Model to increase the entrepreneurship competency of the learning participants. Based on this objective, this research developed correlational and differential research questions. The correlational investigation was needed to examine the contribution of the independent variables toward the dependent variable (the increase of the entrepreneurship competency) of the learning participants. Meanwhile the differential investigation was needed to examine the effectiveness of the model.The result of the research indicates there is a positive and significant contribution of the learning participant’s interest, achievement motivation, the learning participant’s participation, technical resourceperson’s competence, the training curriculum, the infrastructure and facilities, the intstructional process, and the executing institution toward the increase of the entrepreneurship competency of of the learning participants both individually or all together. The test of model effectiveness proves a positive and significant difference between the designed model and the existing model. 
PENERAPAN STRATEGI PEMBERDAYAAN MASYARAKAT MELALUI PROGRAM KETERAMPILAN PRODUKTIF DI PKBM RAWASARI
The development of human potential through community-based educational activities aims at understanding and identifying needs and solutions that make the community itself taking into account the potential that exists in the environment. Therefore PKBM (Community Learning Center) is one of the institutions to explore and develop community-based education. The objective of this study to describe the implementation of the strategy undertaken by PKBM Rawasari in empowering the community through productive skills. The study includes the selection of the target area programs, socialization of the programs, program implementation and monitoring and evaluation of community empowerment, as well as its influence on the economic changes in the society. The method used was descriptive qualitative. The collected data were analyzed descriptively and qualitatively. The data were analyzed using percentage calculation to be interpreted and described in words.The results of the study show that the productive skills program held PKBM Rawasari is not an optimal strategy in a holistic community empowerment. However, some benefits have been felt by the program participants
EVALUASI PROGRAM PENDIDIKAN KESETARAAN PAKET B UNTUK MENDUKUNG WAJAR DIKDAS 9 TAHUN DI KABUPATEN GORONTALO
At The research is aimed at describing the implementation of equity education evaluation program of equity education paket B for wajar dikdas 9th year at sub province Gorontalo. Design of this research is qualitative with use phenomenology approach and design multi cases. Base of decided to use this approach is (1) this research have been done at nature background and two sided background different case; (2) this research use human as important instrument; (3) this research more focus to process, not result. For implementation this multi cases studies as base as opinion that multi cases studies is a study with detail with two or more background with have different characteristic, a subject, documents or a happen. This research use snowball sampling technic, (1) deep interview; (2) participation observation; (3) documentation study. Informer decided with purposive technic source triangulation, And than did evaluation of credibility, dependability, and confirmability. Data analysis include: (1) case individual analysis and (2) analysis multicases. Result of this research is (1) Content program: (a) curriculum centered, (b) application for skill, (c) program purpose to student potential. ASIMILASI NILAI KEKELUARGAAN LINTAS ETNIK
Indonesian people comprises of a lot of ethnic groups and some of them stay and live together sharing the same area. As each of the ethnic groups has specific culture and value, this research wanted to know how the value of family relationship assimilated across the ethnic groups, particularly among Dayaks, Melayunese, and Javanese transmigrants in Rasau Jaya village, Kubu Raya District, West Kalimantan. The research conducted in 2010 aimed at identifying, describing, and analyzing the cross ethnic assimilation process of the family relationship value. To meet the purpose of the research, analysis model based on Peter Blau’s theory was employed and descriptive naturalistic method was used. The data were collected by using interview, structured observation, and document study techniques. The result of the research indicates that cross ethnic assimilation of family relationships value are done through value transformation and implementation, family union, appropriate moral value, democracy, togetherness, and solidarity. Various ethnic cultural backgrounds do not hinder the establishment of harmonious life of the ethnic groups. Based on the findings, the research provides a set of recommendations for the policy makers and further research
PENGEMBANGAN MODEL BAHAN BELAJAR MANDIRI BERBASIS ANDRAGOGI UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KOMPETENSI PENDIDIK ANAK USIA DINI
This research aims at creating a model of self- learning materials to improve PAUD teacher’s competence in facilitating and developing learning in early childhood education. The model to be developed based on andragogy approach consists of the learning and teaching materials, learning and teaching guidelines, and assessment and evaluation guidelines. To reach the research objectives. research and development method was employed. The data was collected through observation, interview, questionnaire, and test. Data analysis used qualitative analysis capturing the analysis of preliminary research data, the result of expert validation, and try out data. Quantitative analysis was also integrated in this study for the experiment data. The result of this study shows that the self learning materials developed in this research can improve the early childhood education teacher’s competence in teaching and learning process. It is recommended therefore to use this andragogy principles based model of self learning package for early childhood education teachers
HUBUNGAN PENERAPAN ISO 9001:2000 DAN ORGANISASI BELAJAR TERHADAP KINERJA STAF
The objective of this research is to analyze the relationship of ISO 9001:2000 implementation with the learning organization and the staff performance in an institution. This study is conducted in P2PNFI Region I Jayagiri and P2PNFI Region II Semarang. The design of development strategies on this research are: (1) conducting the beginning study; (2) creating research instruments; (3) testing instruments; (4) analyzing the validity and reliability instruments; (5) distributing questioners to 94 respondents at P2PNFI Regional I Jayagiri and 84 respondents at P2PNFI Regional II Semarang; (6) collecting questioners; (7) data input and processing; (8) conducting data analyzing and (9) wrapping up the conclusion. The research reveals that (1) there is an increase of the staff performance; (2) a positive correlation between the implementation of ISO 9001:2000 with the staff performance; (3) a positive relationship between the learning organization with the staff performance and (4) a correlation between the implementation of ISO9001:2000 with the performance of staff at two institutions
